Hard Candy Cosmetics Fox in a Box Blushing Quad, Welcome Matte Mattifying Translucent Powder & Plexi Gloss Review & Giveaway--Ends June 2, 2011

You don't have to spend a fortune to find some bargains in cosmetics like those I introduced to you from Hard Candy Cosmetics with the concealers and plumping serum volumizing lip gloss I wrote about earlier.  PR sent me several more of their products to review and I want to share my findings with you.

Welcome Matte Mattifying Translucent Powder is a lightweight consistency that worked like a charm over my foundation.  This translucent powder nicely kept the shine away from my  nose for hours without constant touch-ups.  I appreciated the separate compartment that housed the sponge applicator and mirror, instead of resting on top of the powder to accumulate more bacteria.

Plexi Gloss Glossy Lip Shine in Mauve-alous made my lips pop with juicy, pink-plum lusciousness.  The color was a sheer tinted shine that would look great on practically everyone.

Fox in a Box blushing quad (Sweet & Spicy) was a perfect mix of pink and peach tones.  When swirled together, the color I applied was healthy and believable.  I think Sweet & Spicy would work on warm or cool tone complexions to please all.  The only thing I have against this particular Hard Candy product is the awful applicator.  You need to use your own blusher brush if you want the best results, which is typical for other lines as well.
