|Monavé Mineral Makeup 10 product assortment|
When Monavé Mineral Makeup asked me to work on this project and select $100 worth of their products for this review and giveaway, I must admit that I had a blast! You all know how much I love this company so I had no problem spending it. The only problem was that I landed up ordering extra since it was so hard to decide which of those fabulous items to take out of my cart. Instead, I just had to have it all!
|Monavé Mineral Makeup Claire Vegan Mousse Foundation|
Let me tell you what I selected first for my $100 certificate and what I discovered. I chose a Claire Vegan Mousse Foundation, a Petal #01 Setting Powder, a Liquid Lip Gloss in Bordeaux #86, a Pearlescent Blush in Winter Mauve #203, a pot of Shimmer Lip Gloss in Ruby Slippers #171, and Ultra-Matte Eye Shadows in Light #104 and Dark Eggplant #106.
I told you in an earlier review that Caroline was my match for foundation. However, I have been taking more vitamins and my coloring changed slightly. The Caroline seems a bit too yellow for me now. On the other hand, the Claire Vegan Mousse Foundation appears to be a better choice. This shade looks gorgeous on me and is not too pink, but just right for someone like myself with a light beige skin. This foundation covers nicely without being greasy and makes your skin velvety smooth or needing a moisturizer beneath.
I already raved about Monavé Mineral Makeup and their lip products. Therefore, I had to have the Bordeaux Liquid Lip Gloss, which was a marriage of sheer wine and pink. Think of a sexy, but an elegant winter color to flaunt your lips and grab attention.
To keep in that color scheme, I loved how well my choices of the Ultra- Matte Eye Shadows in Light and Dark Eggplants played up my dark eyes. The Light Eggplant #104 is a light pink with a hint of a dusky purple and was ideal for the highlight shade. In comparison, the Dark Eggplant #106 was a deep purple, true to the name eggplant and made my brown eyes smolder. Blending those shades together produced a lighter purple that I could adjust to tone down the darkness or change the effect somewhat.

The Winter Mauve Pearlescent Blush is described on their website as having purple tones to it. I was surprised at this shade when it arrived, appearing more peach in color than what I expected. It is the middle shade in the second photo. The lighter Silver Rose blush is on the left. The Petal Setting Powder is the largest. Nonetheless, when you hold the jar to light, you can see those reflective particles sparkling with ribbons of pink and plum as well. Let me tell you how natural and healthy this versatile shade looks when those three colors mingle to work their magic on your cheeks. This is a very flattering color and one of my favorite Monavé Blush colors that looked wonderful with those shadows.
I finished and was $1.50 short of my $100 limit when I picked a Pot of Shimmer Lip Gloss in Ruby Slippers. Those fearful of red, fear not. This is a safe sheer red with brown that is very wearable and can light up your face when nothing else works.
As I was telling you, the more Monavé products that I have tried, the more I am turning to them. As a result, I was weak and couldn't resist ordering a Sultry Blush in Silver Rose #11, a Glossy Lip Stick in Ruby Slippers #171, and the Unscented Intensive Emollient for some $42.50 extra.
The Silver Rose Sultry Blush is a neutral, but shimmering light pink and brown that can perk up your cheeks with a play of light, not sparkles.
Red happens to be one of the hardest colors to pick when it comes to lipstick. On their website, this tube of Vegan Glossy Lip Stick in Ruby Slippers #171 looks like a deep cranberry type of red. This is a striking sheer deep red warmed with some copper shimmer for an elegant, but classy twist to basic red that is easy to wear. Ladies, this one will work for you at the office or for night.
The colder the temperatures get, the drier my complexion becomes. Therefore, I wanted to see how the Unscented Intensive Emollient would work. This intensive moisturizer was easy to spread and made my tight skin comfortable without any greasy look or residue throughout the day. This luxurious natural skin care product has pure organic sunflower oil, soybean oil, shea butter, jojoba, plus other botanicals and vitamins. This product has become my new winter best friend for how beautifully my skin is responding.
It never ceases to amaze me at the beautiful shades, performance, and quality of products from this award-winning company, which I love more and more with each product that I discover. If you haven't tried anything from Monavé Mineral Makeup yet, then I honestly recommend doing so because you will be impressed once you do!
*Disclaimer: This is my own honest opinion. No money was exchanged. All I received were free products to facilitate this review.*
