Sometimes, you need to give your hair a little jumpstart to spark some new life into it.  While conditioners are fabulous to help return shine and softness, they are hardly capable of  handling hair color drabness or brassiness.   However, Roux Color Refresh Mask may be just the hair fix for in between colorings to get you smiling again.

While this product is not intended to color grays like a permanent or semi-permanent hair color, it does perk up a dull head of hair.  Instead, this mask will revive what is already on your head with more vibrant color, lots of extra gloss, and condition so it's softer and more manageable in three minutes.  No ammonia is involved and your hair will stay that way anywhere from two to five shampoos.

I shared my first experience with these masks earlier when I tried #513 Deep Chestnut and #411 Brown.  Read my review to get the full scoop.  In short, I got beautiful red and gold highlights shooting through my brown hair plus tons of shine and softness.  I did like both of those shades but #411 was closer to current color while #513 was also flattering, but darker.

Now, I have been rotating between the two colors when I start feeling hair ugliness.  After all, it's more fun and a fabulous way to change your look with this $4.99 mask like you do with cosmetics while fixing a problem. 

Buy Roux Color Refresh Mask online or at Sally Beauty, but do yourself a favor and experiment with this because it will give your hair a lift and is a great save between hair colorings.
