Whether you're looking to advance your career or trying your luck with the ladies, your hair says a lot about you.  Therefore, why trust something so important as your hair to just any old products that won't give you that extra edge when your image is on the line?  American Crew understands what it means to a man to have reliable options that will help you look your best like the selection my guy has been using from the Drive Her Wild box of promotional products I received.

My guy first started using American Crew products in February when I was sent an assortment  to review.  Ever since then, he has been using them regularly.  Now he is quite discriminating when it comes to what goes on his head.

As you can imagine, he plunged into his new stash as soon as it arrived unlike last time when I replaced his old products with American Crew.  He got seven products to try this time.  They included Alternator, (a styling spray), Classic Firm Hold Styling Gel, Daily Moisturizing Shampoo, Power Cleanser Style Remover, Classic 3-in-1 (shampoo, a conditioner, and body wash), Classic Stimulating Conditioner, and Fiber (for high hold).

I saw him smiling.  "I was thinking of buying that Power Cleanser Style Remover," he remarked with wide eyes.  "They also gave me another Fiber, too,"  I heard him say before carrying his box away to arrange on the dresser.

I guess it's no secret that American Crew had turned my guy into quite the male diva!  But, who am I to compare when it comes to my vanity and obsession with beauty products?

As I expected, my guy used the Power Cleanser Style Remover first when he shampooed that day.  His hair looked really nice when he finished with more shine and movement.  "This is how it looks without a styling product," he said and then vanished.

Before I got back to the kitchen to check on my casserole, he returned modeling the American Crew Classic Firm Hold  Styling Gel.  This is an alcohol-free, low ph formula with natural extracts and a dual polymer complex.  Although this is meant to use on slightly damp hair after shampooing, my guy worked some in to keep his hair back.   He liked the shine and control even when applied as not intended.

Later that week, he tested out the Daily Moisturizing Shampoo and Classic Stimulating Conditioner, which made his hair healthier looking and so manageable.  He was impressed how those deeply conditioning natural extracts worked to add luster and improve the feel without weighing his hair down.  Maybe it was the rosemary and thyme extracts, panthenol (Vitamin B5), and menthol as conditioning agents that made a difference.

He had used the Fiber, the flexible resinous product with high hold and low shine, but was almost out of his second jar when this replacement arrived.  Being experienced, he used a small amount when styling to build in texture and some fullness where he needed it.  This had become one of his favorites to wear to the office because it gave him control and polish.

The Alternator was the flexible hold styling and finishing spray that he fell in love with.  The styling products usually were sufficient to hold his shorter hair in place.  However, my guy did experience bad hair days just like us.  I used to share my unscented hair spray with him when the situation arose.  Despite his groaning of still smelling girly, I thought this had helped.  Nonetheless, the manly Alternator kept his hair in place and allowed movement without leaving it hard like he was wearing a hardhat.

The last product in the box was the American Crew Classic 3-in-1.  This was a shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.  He enjoyed how this product multi-tasked.
