|Beauty Box 5 September 2014|
Here is the scoop for those that aren’t familiar with Beauty Box 5 and how this beauty subscription service works. You get four to five beauty items from full sizes to samples in each box. The cost is $12 a month with free shipping. You can also save money and pay only $10 if you commit to three months. The cost goes down even more and would be $8.25 a month with an annual subscription.
Let me show you exactly what you might expect to find in a typical Beauty Box 5 assortment. Check out what I received in the September 2014 box below.
Beauty Box 5 September 2014
1. Nicka K New York Eyelight Crayon (Charcoal)–Full Size–$4.49
2. Natural Style by FUBU Deep Conditioner & C0-Wash–2 sample packets (.5 oz each)–$1.00
3. Sally Hansen Toe Spacers–Full Size–$1.99
4. My Beauty Spot Nail Polish (Deep Purple)–Full Size –$4.10
5. Chrislie Formulations 3-in-1 Eye Bright–Sample Size (.17 oz.)–$13.00
Total Value: $22.59
The Nicka Eyelight Crayon is one that doesn’t require sharpening. It swivels up and is a nicer size for lining and using as a shadow compared to fatter ones such as Revlon's Colorstay Smoky Shadow Sticks. Charcoal is a shimmering gunmetal shade that worked nicely for me.
The Natural Style by FUBU Deep Conditioner always comes in handy. With colder weather coming and the abuse we put our hair through, this stuff will be ideal to try to help bring back the condition of less than perfect hair. Judging by the ingredient list of oils in their miracle 9 complex this is an intensive repairing treatment that I will test soon enough since I just conditioned the other day.
Since I don’t have any problems painting my toenails, the Sally Hansen Toe Spacers are something that didn’t really excite me. You may feel differently.
My Beauty Spot Nail Polish is a brand that I never heard of until it appeared in this box. The dark purple color though looks like it will be a wonderful Fall shade for my nails.
The Chrislie Formulations 3-in-1 Eye Bright is an eye serum for brightening, firming, and helping with dark circles. With such a small size, it is hard to tell if any skin benefits
occurred besides the cooling effect as it moisturized the under eye area. You need to test such a product out over a longer period to make that determination.
If you’re thinking of trying a beauty subscription service, you ought to consider Beauty Box 5 because it’s fun and a great way to try out or discover new products and brands that may be unfamiliar. I know that I just love them. Do check them out!
