Dancing Deer Baking Company's Holiday Cookie Variety Basket

Pretty platters piled high with holiday cookies make a celebration special. But when you want to make that those occasions even more memorable, I can tell you that Dancing Deer Baking Company’s all natural, gourmet cookies, bars, and cakes are the way to go. Usually, I gravitate toward their addictive, award-winning brownies, but this year I chose one of their Holiday Cookie Variety Basket because it featured new shortbread cookie creations!

My cookies arrived in their own burgundy sea grass basket, which is quite attractive and later can serve for various purposes.  Even better yet was when I unlatched the lid, I found how wonderfully my five dozen cookies survived the trip.  Each bag had a dozen buttery Chocolate Sea Salt Stars, Gingerbread Folks, Peppermint Trees, Apple Pie Rounds, and Espresso Chocolate Chip cookies just waiting to be consumed.

I must admit deciding which of those delectable treats to try first was difficult.  However, the first bag we sampled was the Chocolate Sea Salt Stars.  These practically melt in your mouth with how tender and buttery they are against scrumptious chocolate.

Next, we went with the Espresso Chocolate Chip cookies, which had a great balance of coffee and buttery flavor to compliment the chocolate goodness of the chips.

The Apple Pie Round cookies are savory shortbread cookies with bits of apple and spice!

Gingerbread Folks were soft and spicy, molasses temptations that kept pulling us to devour them.

Last of all, we polished off the bag of Peppermint Trees, which were sensational for how the mint boosted this fine cookie’s flavor.

This Holiday Cookie Variety Basket retails for $38.99, but save 25% off that or any order now until December 31, 2014 with coupon code NUTS4U at checkout.

Believe me, Dancing Deer makes a great gift to send family and friends. One thing that I can assure you from my several years of reviewing this company’s baked goods are that you can count on freshness, superb taste because they use quality ingredients, no burning or unbaking, and tender loving care when it comes to packing their treats.

Do yourself a favor and start your holiday shopping at Dancing Deer Baking Company for this or any of their other tantalizing holiday gift possibilities.  For your convenience, you can even shop by product, occasion, or price.

*Disclaimer: Free products were provided to facilitate this review--not my opinion.*

For the roughly 1.6 million children likely to experience homelessness each year in the United States it is a memory they likely will not have.

I LOVE THIS! The Sweet Home Project, started in 2001, helps homeless families move into stable lives and homes of their own by providing funding and support for low-income single parents to complete their college education and enter family sustaining careers. It helps parents break the cycle of poverty and thereby prevent homelessness for their families.
