Monave Mineral Makeup and Skin Care

Are you looking to shimmer and shine this holiday season?  To get you started, you need to check out the gorgeous new cosmetics I was sent from Monave Mineral Makeup for this review and giveaway since these will make you dazzle!

I picked out the Vegan Mousse Foundation in Claire.  The shade is a light beige with just a bit of pink, a nice color for my light complexion with its yellow undertones to balance it out. This product gave me fine medium coverage through healthier ingredients besides a skin treatment once you remove this foundation. My skin actually looks better afterwards.

Monave Mineral Makeup Vegan Mousse Foundation (Claire).jpeg
This is the Claire shade of that Vegan Mousse Foundation.  It photographed lighter but it is a slightly darker beige.

Of course, I prepped first with their Rose Vegan Moisture Cream.  This is a lightweight cream that is perfect for moisturizing underneath that foundation or any dry powder foundation that made my complexion feel like velvet.  It’s not greasy in the least, only a great base to start your beauty routine.

To lighten the darkness under eye circles, I had a chance to see how Monave’s new Concealer Crayons worked in Ashlie (pale beige with pink) and Kerrie (pale peach-beige).  These are creamy enough to spread even without eye cream.  Both shades worked, but Kerrie was a better shade for me.

These Concealer Crayons are packed in a plastic like pencil, which can be sharpened only not to a point--only a flat tip.

Every girl needs plenty of eye shadows like these Versatile Powders of Taupe #52 (plum-gray); Champagne #81 (golden peach with a hint of pink); Smoked Jade #48 (soft olive); Antique Brick #88 (berry-pink overcast with violet); Sahara #72 (sandy beige brown that gleams with interest, Gold Salmon #70 (peach-gold); London Blue #20 (mysterious dark blue with intriguing glimmers of midnight blue and green); Cocoa #53 (warm brown lit through with gleaming copper) and finally Blizzard #71 (palest beige shimmer).

You see I chose mostly neutrals like beige, browns, and some in the pink to plum range with an olive and deep blue to shake it up a bit.  All the shadows intermix well together.

Starting at top of fingertips is Versatile Powder Taupe #52, Champagne #81, Smoked Jade #48, and ending with Antique Brick #88 in the palm of my hand.

I like how easy it is to mix around  a few of those little pots and create a fresh color scheme. With these nine pots and Monave's Firm Eyeshadow Brush, I can take my look into so many different directions from natural, more glamorous, as well as bold and edgier with the combinations that I could create.

For lips products, Monave’s has a few new nude shades like Chiffon #180 Liquid Lip Gloss and Cor de Rosa #44, which I liked in their reformulated lipstick that glides better than ever. Hydrangea Liquid Lip Gloss #14 is a darker copper-brown compared to the above peachy nudes.

Starting on the left by my thumb and working to the right is Jelly Bean #504, Hydrangea #14 (middle) and Chiffon #180 on the right.

Here's I'm modeling Hydrangea #14.

The company also came out with some bolder violet colors like the most vivid of the group, Pink Sapphire #178 Liquid Lip Gloss.  In the tube, it looks so purple in person that it could pass as grape.  I was afraid that the color was too over the top until I applied and fell in love with it.

This is Pink Sapphire #178,  Though bold in the tube, it is becomes more of a pink-orchid on the lips.

This is Pink Sapphire #178  that gave me a  beautiful orchid lip instead of shocking violet  like the tube.

Some plum shades like Jelly Bean #504 Lip Glaze, Rosewood #96 Matte Lipstick (pink-brown with a plum), and Light Plum Lipstick #12 (lovely red-plum) also caught my eye.  I thought they would pair up nicely with some of the shadows I selected.

Here I'm wearing the Light Plum #12 Lipstick.  See how the red comes through beautifully.

The best part about Monave Mineral Makeup is that you don't have to worry about what you're putting on your face that can eventually enter your bloodstream like chemicals, dyes, and preservatives that come out of China.  These are made by hand in Baltimore, Maryland, which gives me peace of mind.

I recommend do visit Monave Mineral Makeup and get yourself a new holiday look because you'll love their products as much as I do!

I learned that the setting powder with silica is only to be used by seriously oily people, like myself. It is a drying property and is much stronger than the other ingredient used.
