Forever Flawless White Diamond Skin Skin

You heard the saying that diamonds are a girl’s best friend.  Well, dear readers, they may just also be your skin’s best friend as well from my experience with Forever Flawless Diamond Infused Skin Care. This luxury beauty brand combines scientific innovation with spa quality with their diamond-infused skin care products.  I was sent their most popular White Diamond Collection ($399) and their anti-aging Black Diamond Collection ($2,499) for this review and giveaway.

The White Diamond Collection is a three-product system of a Diamond Infused Cleansing Complex, Diamond Infused Facial Peeling Gel, and the Diamond Infused Hydra-AM Moisture Complex Cream. I only started using these products but I did like how gently this system worked on my often sensitive face.

With minerals, botanical extracts, essential oils and its ultra-fine diamond powder for additional exfoliating properties, I thought the creamy cleanser dissolved makeup quite well without stripping my skin’s natural oils before I rinsed it away.  I used the Facial Peel next to prepare my skin for moisturizing.  Unlike other peels that I have used, this did not cause any redness at all.  Instead, I later rubbed away some product with whatever dead skin attached to it.  Finally, I applied the Hydra-AM Moisture Cream, which I liked very much for how it felt, absorbed, and left my skin to the touch.  This is not a heavy cream, but has a fluffier, souffle consistency with a light scent.

The products included in the Black Diamond Collection I received were the Diamond Infused Age-Defying Thermal Mask, Diamond Infused Age-Defying Serum, Diamond Infused Age-Defying Cream and  the Diamond Infused Vitamin C Booster ($2,499).

Forever Flawless Black Diamond skin care products.jpeg
Forever Flawless Black Diamond skin care
Unlike other anti-aging regimes, the Black Diamond Collection is not meant to be used daily. What the company advises is to start with the Diamond Infused Age-Defying Thermal Mask once a week and then turn to the  line’s serum and cream twice to three times a week.  If you think your complexion isn’t progressing as you like, you have another product at your disposal with the Vitamin C Booster, which also can be used two or three times a day.
Outside of this packaged set, there are other products in this Black Diamond range that also caught my eye such as their Forever Flawless Diamond Infused Snake Venom Correcting Cream ($1,499) that uses venom to reproduce the effects of botox.

To help with your individual needs, there are other skin care collections besides the White Diamond and Black Diamond lines with the Pink, Blue, Platinum, and Gold & Diamond formulations, which also look interesting, judging by their descriptions and their respective ingredients that are also USA manufactured.

The only drawback to Forever Flawless that I found was their lavish price, which needs to be taken into consideration. Otherwise, I cannot complain in using any of the products that I sampled.

To introduce you to their products, Forever Flawless has a special promotional offer for Nuts 4 Stuff readers where you buy one product and then get another of the same or lesser value for FREE from now until 12/20/2014 by emailing Lea@ForeverFlawless.com or through phone orders at (470)-545-3577.

Beauty Box 5 November 2014 Review

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Beauty Box 5 November 2014.jpeg
Beauty Box 5 November 2014

The theme of this month’s Beauty Box 5 is gracefully grounded. The assortment of products are geared to pamper and help you best prepare for the holiday rush and partying ahead.

A Beauty Box 5 subscription is a fun way to beautify. For just $12 a month, you get four to five full to sample size beauty products from cosmetics, skin care and hair care that come with a specific theme like this one, to pull the assortment together.

Let’s check out my latest box.  Here is what I found inside the little green box.

Beauty Box 5 November 2014

1.  Laura Ashley Body Butter (Spring Lavender)– Sample (1.75 oz).–$3.33

2.  HASK Macadamia Revitalizing Shine Oil–Full Size (5/8 fl. oz.)–$2.99

3.  DenTek Floss Picks + Case–(2 Picks)–$1.24

4.  Afterfeather Refillable Travel Bottle–$4.47

5.  Dove Deep Moisture Body Wash–Sample (1.8 fl. Oz.)–$0.45

Total Value: $12.48

The Laura Ashley Body Butter had a nice calming scent and came with a foil seal inside, which I liked to safeguard against contamination and tampering.

The HASK hair oil made my hair softer and produced more shine. The size is nice to stash in your bag when traveling over the holidays.

I floss with wrapping my fingers around the dental floss.  I will need to master the DenTek Floss Picks.

The Afterfeather Travel Bottle is something I wouldn’t spend $4.47 just to pour in some shampoo or whatever to take with me.  For that price, I can buy a sample at the drug store for the same purpose.

The Dove Deep Moisture Body Wash is wonderful and so creamy.  I like that you don’t even have to depend on body lotion once you get out of the tub after washing with it.

Overall, I have had much better Beauty Box 5 assortments than November 2014.  This one is a bit lacking in the product department. Hopefully, next month’s box will change all that with another wonderful collection of beauty like all the other boxes that I remember.

Have you tried this beauty subscription yet?  To learn more or sign up, do visit Beauty Box 5.

Prepare to Shine This Holiday Season With LAQA & Co.’s Greedy Guts and Gryffandor Nail Polishes (Review) + SWATCHES!

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Modeling LAQA & Co.'s Greedy Guts Nail Polish.jpeg
Greedy Guts is my favorite LAQA color yet.  I absolutely love this shade, especially for winter.  In the above photo, the color looks brighter than in real life, where it's darker and more dramatic.   Trust me, but this one is it for making an alluring impression.

You can give your nails a festive start this holiday season with the latest two shades of LAQA & Co. nail polishes that I want to share with you. Whether you're ready to make your grand entrance at a party with can't-miss nails or just opting for simple elegance to complete your look, I think that you’ll want to consider these polishes when shopping.

Take Greedy Guts ($13), a knockout, deep cranberry-red for all out glamour. This shade is so hot it can almost be combustible with the fireworks it can cause when you flaunt your nails.

Gryffandor ($13) is a more reserved shade of pale pink. Lovely and very ladylike, this color is pretty in its delicate simplicity and will reward you with smiles.

LAQA & Co.'s Gryffandor Nail Polish.jpeg
With Gryffandor on your nails above, you'll create an impression of  feminine beauty and grace.

If you haven't tried LAQA & Co. nail polishes yet, you need to visit their website and pick some up, especially Greedy Guts!

Review: Blush Mystery Beauty Box November 2014

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Blush Mystery Beauty Box November 2014.jpeg
Blush Mystery Beauty Box November 2014

A must-have gift for anyone obsessed with beauty is giving them a beauty subscription this holiday season. One of my favorites is Blush Mystery Beauty Box because their beauty experts have excellent insight in scouting out the best new makeup, skin and hair care products to save a busy girl time with their monthly beauty picks.

In fact, I have discovered so many wonderful products through them that I might not have found on my own. For just $24.95 a month or a one time box for $34.95, you always count on a mix of full to sample size products that are a higher end and always worth at least $100 in each black bag, which is a deal.

For example, I want to share what I found when I opened up this month’s bag.  Take a look below and you can decide yourself because I thought it was another awesome assortment.

Blush Mystery Beauty Box November 2014

1.  Lauren B. Beauty Nourishing Hand Creme–Full Size (2 fl.oz.)–$24.00

2.  Miracle Skin Transformer Face Spotlight SPF 20–Sample Size (3ml)–$3.25

3.  Traditions By Nick Chavez Prickly Pear Restoring Mist–Sample (2 fl. oz.)--$6.00

4.  Laura Geller Beauty Cool Lids Cream Eyeshadow in Silver Sands–Full Size–$12.50

5.  Skinmedica TNS Eye Repair–Sample (15ml)–$13.00

6.  Jane Iredale Eye Gloss (Aqua Silk)–Full Size–$15.50

7.  Nuxe Clarifying Cream-Mask With Rose Petals–Sample (15ml)–$8.70

8.  Julien Farel Haircare A2B Technology Hydrate Restore for Normal or Fine Hair–Full Size (8.5 oz.)–$33.00

Total Value: $115.95!

The Lauren B. Beauty Hand Cream has a beautiful floral scent in a luxurious feeling formula that helped do away with dryness.  Unless you hate or can’t take fragrance in your skin care, you would have to love this product.

I didn’t test the Miracle Skin Transformer Face SPF 20 BB cream yet, but I did try other skin care from this company from a previous bag and really thought it worked well.  I am looking forward to sampling this one soon.

I was so glad to find another Nicky Chavez hair product this month.  I first became acquainted with this brand through this subscription box when they included the Plump ‘ Thickening Shampoo from an earlier bag.  I fell in love with it because I can skip wearing mousse when I use that shampoo for what it does to pump up my curls. This leave-in conditioning spray was also quite nice.

The Silver Sands eye shadow from Laura Geller first appeared a few months back.  I was surprised to see the same tube return.  Though it’s a fine product, I would have liked another shade.

The eye cream from Skinmedica spread wonderfully without being too sticky or slick.

The Jane Iredale Eye Gloss is a very good eye shadow for how it wears and looks.  My only problem with it is the shade of Aqua Silk.  I am into more browns, plums, and neutrals for the most part.

The Nuxe Cream-Mask will be wonderful to try soon.  But, my face is once again under current skin care testing to do it now.  I am a big fan of masks whether they come from a store or my kitchen for improving a complexion.

Finally, I didn’t get to treat my hair to some deep conditioning with the Julien Farel Hydrate Restore only because I just did that the other day. You forgo shampoo and conditioner and use a bit of this instead to revitalize as it cleans for the return of gorgeous hair.  I can’t wait to try this the next time my hair is suffering.

I really thought the selection overall was great with the exception of aqua eye shadow.   What about you?  Have you tried Blush Mystery Beauty Box yet?  Do look into it for yourself and those beauty lovers that you're buying gifts for!

**WIN**Oaxis Star.21 Fitness Band Review and ($79.99) Giveaway!–Ends December 12, 2014

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Oaxis Star.21 Fitness Band.jpeg
Oaxis Star.21 Fitness Band

Keeping track of the calories you burn is less of a challenge these days now that I have the Oaxis Star.21 Fitness Band from Mediasonic.  The company sent me one at no cost for this review and giveaway.  What I really like is that it takes the guesswork out of what used to be just my estimations.

I was very impressed with the trim design.  This band fits well and is very comfortable to wear, which is important in a fitness band.  The band can take the punishment of a vigorous workout. You won't have to worry about the band so you can focus on being active.

The one thing about electronic gadgets of any kind is that water and humidity aren’t friends. But the online specs state the Oaxis Star.21 Fitness Band is sweat proof, waterproof, and dust proof and from my use I feel it is.

It works very well to keep tabs on your steps, the distance traveled, how many calories burned and your active minutes.  For me, that feedback is important because I can see whether I am making progress or not.  I can tell when I am losing track and need to pick up the pace of my activity to reach my goals. We all know how easy it is to let things slide. However, tracking your activity makes it simple to stay on course.

Tracking your progress is a breeze because the Oaxis Star.21 supports both iOS and Android Phone. It also supports Bluetooth.

When Mediasonic chose the name of the product, they also made a good point as well. They assert that it takes 21 days to form a habit.  Ever try something new when you’re working out or trying to lose a few pounds?  The first few days it’s hard but the longer you stick with it the easier it gets.  I never tracked the number of days but looking back I think they have a valid point.  After about three weeks I am into my new routine.  They say this is supported by behavioral psychology and I’ll take them at their word there.

I like the way this fitness tracker works.  The Oaxis Star.21 switches between sleep and day mode automatically.  It even can wake you up with a silent alarm since it has customized reminders and a strict time manager.

It also is light, weighing in at only 18g or about .64oz ( a little over half an ounce). The battery will hold a charge up to 10 days and is easily recharged with the supplied USB cable.  The cable is a standard USB/Micro USB and it’s readily available.

If your goal is to be more fit and healthier, this Mediasonic Oaxis Star.21 Fitness Band can help make it easier for you or anyone on your holiday gift list.   Do check it out!

Crabtree & Evelyn’s Lavender Traveler Gift Set.jpeg
Crabtree & Evelyn's Lavender Traveler Gift Set

Lovely scented skin care is always one of my favorite gifts.  I love to indulge and wrap myself in luxurious fragrance whether to cleanse, silken or enhance the scent of the perfume or eau de toilette that I’m wearing. If you’re looking for a similar type of holiday stocking stuffer, a good choice might be a soothing lavender fragrance like what I experienced after being sent Crabtree & Evelyn’s Lavender Traveler Toiletry Kit ($24) for this review and giveaway.
This kit features their Lavender Bath & Shower Gel (50mL), Lavender Body Lotion (50mL), Lavender Ultra-Moisturizing Hand Therapy (25g) and a Nail Buffer that is presented in a striking maroon cosmetic bag.

Unlike their original Classic Lavender, their new scent is softer and more of a powdery, fresher version that also gained warmth due to notes of sweet violet, jasmine, tonka bean, musk along with some invigorating brightness from lemon than the heavier herbal formulation.

Bathing with their award-winning Lavender Bath & Shower Gel was, indeed, calming as I allowed that scent to work its magic as it cleansed and moisturized with its beneficial lavender oil and floral extracts. The formula has glycerin and is free of mineral oil, parabens, phthalates, propylene glycol or sodium lauryl sulfate.

After that blissful soak, I pampered myself with a good measure of the lavender body Lotion to preserve that peaceful state of mind.  This lotion absorbed quickly and did not leave me greasy feeling at all.

The Lavender Ultra-Moisturizing Hand Therapy is not sticky or greasy. This hand cream is concentrated and sinks into irritated hands quickly, leaving lingering sweetness behind.

If you haven’t tried any of these products from Crabtree & Evelyn, this Lavender Traveler Toiletry Kit is a great way to sample it for yourself as well as for those on your holiday shopping list. Do check it out because I know that you will love its delicate beauty.

Maybe you’re searching for fragrance this holiday season but haven’t been successful finding exactly what you had hoped for. You know that rare one with the grace and sophistication that sets you apart from the crowd.  Then you haven’t experienced the allure of this provocative oriental fragrance, Pretty Woman by Barbara Orbison, widow of the legendary singer, Ray Orbison.  Otherwise, with its complex layering of woods, spice, and floral notes, I am confident that its precious essence would have lingered in your memory.

This glamorous fragrance opens with a confident burst of bubbly bergamot against notes of floral, spices, and creamy woods to make a beautiful, attention-getting statement.  Once the middle notes of stargazer lily, red rose, and carnation in its opulent floral heart emerge, this stunning fragrance warms and invites romance with its undeniable magnestism.  Yet, it also intrigues with exciting exotic mystery just as much as it entices with its self-assurance and style. The further the base heats as it dries down, the more seductive and velvety this ultra-feminine scent becomes caressing you with its tender warmth from its rich amber, patchouli, vanilla, atlas cedar, and sacred incense.

Give Her the Gift Women Long for–The Ultimate Gift of Youth Gift Set From L’Occitane en Provence! (Review)

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Ultimate Gift of Youth Gift Set From L’Occitane.jpeg
Ultimate Gift of Youth Gift Set From L’Occitane

After my love affair with L’Occitane en Provence’s Divine Youth Oil and Immortelle Precious Cream, I couldn’t wait for the Ultimate Gift of Youth Gift Set to arrive.  This anti-aging collection includes their two-award winning products of Divine Cream (1.7 oz.) and Divine Eyes (0.50 oz.) in addition to the Divine Lotion (1.7 oz), and Precious Cleansing Foam (5.1 fl. oz.).

L’Occitane en Provence’s Divine skin care line gets its greatness from the Immortelle flower, which really does have an amazing way to kick start a dull complexion into one that is glowing and revitalized from what I have observed using that Divine Youth Oil along with their Immortelle Precious Cream.  Read my earlier review for all the details.

I discovered the Divine Lotion is so much more than a toner.  It is an enchanting floral pre-treatment of beneficial plant oils and immortelle before turning to the Divine Cream.

The texture of the Divine Cream is so luxurious and rich, but quite light when applied.  My dry complexion immediately felt soothed, hydrated, and fresher.  Although I just started it, I am looking forward to seeing further improvements once L’Occitane en Provence’s immortelle fueled up botanical complex of 7-plant derived active ingredients has even more time to work.

I tried the Precious Cleansing Foam last night for the first time to take off my makeup.  After gently massaging my face with a bit of this fragrant foam, I had all the old gunk rinsed off and down the drain. What was left behind was comfort and softness without any tightness.

If you haven’t tried any of the Divine products yet, The Ultimate Gift of Youth Set is a perfect introduction to experiencing some skin wonders. Normally, this set retails for $227.50 but now can be hand at L'Occitane en Provence's website for just $182.00 in time for gifting yourself or someone else this holiday season!

I discovered the ideal tablet for my purposes, the TrekStor Xiron SurfTabs 7" Tablet PC that’s sold on Amazon.com by Mediasonic for only $89.99.  The tablet, being only 7 inches, is one of the reasons why I like it so much.  It’s bigger than a smartphone, but the tablet’s size makes it much easier for surfing the net, while not taking up a lot of space in my handbag.

And it’s fast since it has a quad-core processor running the Android OS. That OS is the most widely used operating system, due to all the Android devices out there.  This makes getting apps effortless.  All you need to do is go to the Google Play Store and you’ll find many fantastic and often free apps to download.

I downloaded one to let me listen to internet radio and finding the radio show I wanted was a breeze.  Things like YouTube work great as well.

This tablet comes with a sturdy aluminum case that’s durable yet lightweight.  It has all the bells and whistles you expect from a tablet like dual cameras so you can do a lot more than just watching videos or listening to the radio.

You have ports for a Micro SD memory allowing you to expand the memory to 32GB. Connecting this up to your HDTV is a snap with the port for HDMI too.  Using any cable you would hook your MP3 Player to your car’s audio system allowed me to hook my tablet to my sound system.  It’s both a  fun toy and a very useful tool.

Sending emails is simpler with this tablet than a smartphone.  If someone is having trouble doing that this larger screen really helps.  And if you use Gmail, the tablet has an app already installed.  I used other email accounts and it is just as trouble free.

When I got my TrekStor Xiron SurfTabs 7" Tablet PC I was in the process of writing a review when my guy, who loves all things techie,  found and started monopolizing it.  Now he set all the passwords and set up the 802.11n WiFi so he’s forgiven.  But his endorsement is telling since he can be picky when it comes to electronic gadgets.

You should check out my review I just wrote a few days ago.  All the specs are there.

Whether you want this yourself or give one for a gift you’ll be delighted with this tablet!
