Here is what arrived for January 2017 from Eattiamo.

What if I told you that you can dine on authentic gourmet Italian food prepared with artisan products in traditional recipes from all over Italy?  However, I’m not talking about a new restaurant or an overseas trip to that country to experience the true taste of a specific region.  Instead, I found how you can bring the unique flavors and specialities of Italy home with Eattiamo, the Italian Food Subscription Box.

Every monthly box has seven full size artisan food products from various regions across Italy along with recipes and details about the producers to help prepare a complete dinner for four.  Buy one month at a time for just $69 with free shipping or save more with a longer commitment such as $59 for a three-month subscription or $54 when you sign up for a six-month subscription.  If you don’t like it, you can cancel your subscription anytime and there is even a money back guarantee.

Eattiamo five January products.jpeg
Check out these five tasty Italian delights.

Yet, wait until I show you what culinary delights arrived for my January 2017 Eattiamo box.  I promise that you will start to feel hungry by the time I finish.  Then let’s check out the month’s theme, the Italian Vegetarian Detox Box together.

To start this wonderful meal, you get two jars of appetizer fixings.  The first is Champignon Mushroom Spread with capers, sun-dried tomatoes, olive oil, and garlic.  The second is Taggiasca Olives in Brine, which uses this rare olive.  It came with a muffin recipe or you can use your own imagination such as in your favorite dip or cheese spread on crackers, etc.

For the main course, you get a pound of organic spirali pasta made from durum wheat semolina grown in Central Italy from the Mantova brothers.  This special pasta serves as the perfect base to compliment the natural, home-cooked goodness of the Contadina con Verdure Sauce of tomatoes, carrots, bell peppers, and basil.

A great cup of freshly brewed, full-bodied coffee always helps to polish off a meal. With beans grown in Central-Southern America and Africa, MOGI Deep Blue Blend Coffee is a hearty and rich.  This is a company run soley by women.

Eattiamo 2 desserts items.jpeg
Eattiamo January treats will make your mouth water.

Dessert was not neglected.  Capturing all the natural flavor and ancient preserving method utilizing  Piedmontese blueberries is Cascina San Cassiano Blueberries in Syrup. Whether you eat them alone or incorporate them into a pudding, another recipe such as savoring them with the Chocolate Taralli cookies that also arrived, you will love any combination.

I enjoyed everything about Eattiamo from how culinary experts curated the box, the artisan foods so I could sample different regions from the comfort of my home, the recipes on how to prepare and enjoy the items and the information about the producers of the packaged foods themselves.  In fact, I can’t wait to see what the next box brings.

If you’re just as hungry to taste and explore your own Eattiamo Box, then I suggest visiting the Italian Food Subscription and signing up.
