Need a Great DIY Homemade Mask to Soothe Sunburn?

This DIY mask recipe will help cool the fire of sunburn.

For those times you spend a little too much time in the sun and want to make inflamed skin feeling better, I find this easy to prepare homemade facial mask brings relief with honey to naturally heal the skin.  However, if you happen to be allergic to bee pollen, then skip using this mask.

My Soothing Homemade Mask for Sunburn

1/4 cup water
2  teaspoons dry milk powder
1 teaspoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

Mix everything in a bowl until it is smooth and looks like a custard.  Add just enough extra water if this thickens too much because you want it to be a spreadable thinner consistency.

After preparation, massage the mask gently.  If you want, you can leave your face with the mask uncovered or covered with warm, moist cotton  while you relax with it on for at least 18 minutes.

When your time is up, rinse the mask away using warm (not hot) water and follow with cool to close your pores.

You can also use this mask on arms or other suffering body parts.  It may be sloppy, but it does help when you're searching for some relief!
