The clear serum is dispensed through a pump.  Unlike some serums, this isn’t as hydrating when you apply as others.  This product is fast absorbing without any stickiness or slickness to it. However, it does address fine lines almost immediately when you examine your face and leaves skin soft.

Though I loved the Rose Glycerin Soap, I got to admit their Merlot Soap smells even better when I lathered myself in that luscious, intoxicating sweet scent during my escape to the tub as I bathed. 

One of my favorites is that Chianti Hand Cream for how quickly it helps heal dry skin.  

You almost don’t want to get out of the tub, but I have more to do such as indulging my still damp body with their decadent Chablis Body Souffle.  What a delight for the senses lavishing on this wonderfully moisturizing cream.  It didn’t absorb instantly, but took a bit longer to sink into the skin when I first sampled, but oh, did it feel and smell yummy to invite touches!

My hands always seem to be in the sink getting washed or washing dishes because I cook a lot and sadly don’t have room for a dishwasher.  Therefore, I go through more hand creams than you may believe, but never thought to try a Chianti Hand Cream.  This absorbed on contact, smelled divine and was never greasy while helping smooth all evidence of skin dryness.  As you might guess, I am truly a fan!

My March box was centered around an Italian spring harvest.  To start the meal, I found ingredients for appetizers that included Borgia Altino Sweet Pepper (dried sweet peppers from the Abruzzo region in Southern Italy) and Pandolio Olive Oil Salt Snacks (tasty cookie textured crackers).

The main course consisted of Camerino Pasta “paglia e fieno,” along with Granda Green Olive Oil Dip and accented with Tuscan Extra Virgin Olive Oil “Frantoio” variety by Ooxx to dress the pasta.

Dessert was especially delicious with Strega Nougats layered in chocolate, housing just a touch of Strega liquor inside each delectable one.

Meet the new object of my desires, my DuoBed Modular Multi-Functional Storage Sleeper Sofa!

I am smitten with my new modular sofa bed that arrived because it does so much more than look beautiful in my house with its clean, straight lines.  Besides being extremely comfortable due to its specially designed foam cushions for lumber support whether sitting or sleeping when an extra bed is called for, it also has plenty of deep, inner storage within its ottomans.  It also gives me more decorating freedom to use it differently by separating the pieces into two separate chairs, or a chaise or buying additional ottomans if I care to expand my design plan for the room.  However, my DuoBed Modular Multi-Functional Storage Sleeper Sofa that I received for this review and giveaway gives me all those options unlike what you normally can expect from a sofa bed.

The sofa that I chose was  the smaller size that turns into a twin bed over the larger one that has four ottomans for reverting into a king-size bed. The size of the two ottomans that I selected was in 36-inches, but a smaller size of 30-inches is also available.  It has two sofa back pillows and two back supports/armrests.  DuoBed has five shades with the one I selected in Mocha (pale brown, but darker than beige), Brick, Deep Ocean, Espresso, and Flint.  If you’re not sure of how well the color would fit in your room, the company will send you a free swatch to compare before your purchase.

You can have decorating options and redesign those modular pieces unlike conventional furniture.

The fabric of my American-made sofa is all polyester. It has a wonderful, smooth feel unlike some textured fabrics that can be scratchy and irritating.  Furthermore, the material is safe to use Scotch Guard on to protect it, if I so desired.  If by chance, it received a small spill or a pair of small dirty hands left evidence of their crime, a bit of rug cleaner is safe to use to remove it without worrying about damaging the fabric or color.

Each ottoman is roomy.  I  prefer the look of no armrests and kept them inside, but you can attach.

I can’t stress enough how wonderful this sofa bed feels against your back.  It’s not too firm nor too soft but just perfect for what a back needs–-at least one like mine.  

You could store  a complete bedding set inside with pillows, blankets, sheets.  I put in two big afghans to show you.

Someday I want to get another for my office.  This would really help organize equipment, paper, and supplies much better while giving me more space. In fact, DuoBed has a commercial version of fabric with Cryton Fabrics that is sold through Grainger that is water resistant and can even be cleaned with laundry detergent and diluted bleach that is specifically geared for hospitals, offices, hotels, universities and colleges.

The products are 100% natural and made in the USA, which is another reason to celebrate considering forgoing ingredients that could possibly jeopardize health and manufacturing here at home to boost our economy instead of one overseas.

The Bordeaux Lip Shimmer shade is a lovely red-plum.  Pinot Noir is a deep purple-wine.  Merlot is a red-berry color.  The last one I received was the Pinot Grigio, a pale pink.  All complimented my lips with their pigments and shimmer, but Bordeaux was my favorite with my skin tone.  They also made my lips feel good in the process to relieve dryness.

The only thing I wished was that their caps on the lip shimmers weren’t manufactured so tightly to make them such a struggle to pull off.  

The Lip Shine is also in Bordeaux, which I recommend the color for flattering all skin tones with how it can liven up a face without overdoing it.  This product is very moisturizing and slicks up the lips with lots of a shine.  You can wear it alone or layer with one of the lip shimmers like the pale pink Pinot Grigio to give the shade more depth.

The company also included a Rosé Glycerine Bar Soap.  It lathers up with a creamy, rich lather that smells sweetly delicious with that tinge of wine scent as you cleanse with it.

The serums come in a glass bottle with a long thin neck.  When I first saw it, it puzzled me how it would apply once I pulled it open.  However, I understand the design since this fruity-scented serum is a thinner lotion that you need a few small drops into the palm of your hand for a full application. Mind you, I haven’t been using these serums for all that long, but love the results so far.

The Ambrosia Protect (Normal Skin) also has naturally derived hyaluronic acid and moisturizing agents from fruit sugars, AHAs, vitamins, minerals, amino acids and essential oils from the Kadadu plum,  lime pearl extract and combretum flower extract as the main ingredients in this formula.  This lightweight serum is fast-absorbing and made my skin supple and as soft as baby skin without any sign of irritation.

This is Ambrosia Protect, a lightweight, but effective dose of nature.

The Ambrosia Soothe Serum (Dry, Sensitive Skin) gave me long-lasting moisture and seemed to boost my skin’s hydration through the day.  Yet, this is another weightless anti-aging serum that absorbs quickly as well. My skin felt smoother and more radiant.  Besides the Kakadu plum extract, the formula also has argan oil, oat bran extract, oat bran kernel flour, pichia/resveratrol ferment extract, and Tasman pepper fruit extract.

Ambrosia Soothe is a hard-working anti-aging product.

Though my complexion is dry, I also tested the Ambrosia Cleanse Serum to see what it was like.  It felt as light as a feather, but still hydrating even for someone with my complexion type as it purged the pores with the help of tea tree leaf oil, Kakadu plum extract, chaulmoogra oil, nigella sativa seed oil, manuka oil, mastic tree resin, lillypilly fruit extract, Davidson plum fruit extract, argan oil, and oat bran kernel flour.  The more summer approaches, the more I will reach for that particular bottle with the way the weather affects my skin.

Who doesn’t deserve a makeup formula that does good things for the skin to keep it as beautiful and protected as possible?  Exuviance understands the importance and special needs of our skin by extending that quality into their line of makeup.  Their CoverBlend Skin Caring Foundation, CoverBlend Multi-Function Concealer and Matte Perfection Pore Minimizing Primer that arrived for this review and giveaway are perfect examples.  After all, you want to look sensational this Mother’s Day and these products will do the trick.

Classic Beige was the best match for my skin tone.

The CoverBlend Skin Caring Foundation has light to medium coverage ($38) and comes in 10 shades and has anti-aging ingredients such as plyhydroxy acid gluconolactone, vitamin E, and SPF 20 protection broad spectrum sun protection.  This is a water-based, smudge-proof formula capable of long-lasting coverage that is non-comedogenic to safeguard your pores and paraben free.

Warm Beige is slightly darker and has more pink to it.

My dry complexion is fair to light with warm undertones, depending on the brand.  I got to try the Classic Beige (light with pale gold undertones) and the Warm Beige (light with neutral undertones).  The Warm Beige is slightly darker with some pink in it.

What I really liked about this foundation was how natural it looked once I had it on just with my moisturizer beneath.  The Skin Caring Foundation seems to eliminate pores as it smooths over the complexion for a matte finish that has striking luminosity while feeling like you’re wearing nothing. I would advise using a foundation brush instead of your fingers for ultimate happiness in blending because this does set before you know it.  

I also received Exuviance’s Matte Perfection Pore Minimizing Primer ($43), which is geared for shiny, oily skin.  This product is an oil-free gel that has mandelic acid and gluconolactone, a polyhyroxy acid to even out and smooth skin’s texture. Being dry, I didn’t use this product yet but am saving it for summer when my skin changes when the weather heats up.

Their CoverBlend Multi-Function Concealer ($24) is fantastic for hiding under eyes dark circles to small facial imperfections as well as somewhat brightening the area.  It comes in three shades.  This product is ophthalmologist tested and also contains beneficial anti-aging  polyhydroxy acid gluconolactone as one of its ingredients.

Being fair, I opted for Light, which was the perfect match concealer.  This product has a nice thinner consistency, but you might want to remember to lubricate the under eye area first to give you more time before this concealer sets. Start with just a little because this product goes a long way so use a concealer brush to paint where needed for the best results.  I just loved how this concealer lasted for hours without ever creasing.  

If you haven’t tried any Exuviance makeup, I suggest buying some for yourself and don’t forget your mother for a caring Mother’s Day gift!
