| Meet the new object of my desires, my DuoBed Modular Multi-Functional Storage Sleeper Sofa! |
I am smitten with my new modular sofa bed that arrived because it does so much more than look beautiful in my house with its clean, straight lines. Besides being extremely comfortable due to its specially designed foam cushions for lumber support whether sitting or sleeping when an extra bed is called for, it also has plenty of deep, inner storage within its ottomans. It also gives me more decorating freedom to use it differently by separating the pieces into two separate chairs, or a chaise or buying additional ottomans if I care to expand my design plan for the room. However, my DuoBed Modular Multi-Functional Storage Sleeper Sofa that I received for this review and giveaway gives me all those options unlike what you normally can expect from a sofa bed.

The sofa that I chose was the smaller size that turns into a twin bed over the larger one that has four ottomans for reverting into a king-size bed. The size of the two ottomans that I selected was in 36-inches, but a smaller size of 30-inches is also available. It has two sofa back pillows and two back supports/armrests. DuoBed has five shades with the one I selected in Mocha (pale brown, but darker than beige), Brick, Deep Ocean, Espresso, and Flint. If you’re not sure of how well the color would fit in your room, the company will send you a free swatch to compare before your purchase.

The fabric of my American-made sofa is all polyester. It has a wonderful, smooth feel unlike some textured fabrics that can be scratchy and irritating. Furthermore, the material is safe to use Scotch Guard on to protect it, if I so desired. If by chance, it received a small spill or a pair of small dirty hands left evidence of their crime, a bit of rug cleaner is safe to use to remove it without worrying about damaging the fabric or color.

I can’t stress enough how wonderful this sofa bed feels against your back. It’s not too firm nor too soft but just perfect for what a back needs–-at least one like mine.

Someday I want to get another for my office. This would really help organize equipment, paper, and supplies much better while giving me more space. In fact, DuoBed has a commercial version of fabric with Cryton Fabrics that is sold through Grainger that is water resistant and can even be cleaned with laundry detergent and diluted bleach that is specifically geared for hospitals, offices, hotels, universities and colleges.
