This tasty casserole that I want to share is a hearty and satisfying dish with meat and potatoes that will please the entire family.

Do try this recipe sometime when you want a delicious change from what you usually serve. Once you sample my casserole, I bet you will make it again!

My Lazy One Dish Dinner Casserole

1 lb. of ground turkey or ground beef
4 cups of peeled, raw potatoes, thinly sliced
1-1/2 teaspoons of salt
2 cloves of finely minced garlic
2 tablespoons of canola oil
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
3/4 cup of evaporated milk
1/2 cup of cracker crumbs
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 cup of ketchup
1/4 cup of finely chopped onion  (1 small onion)
1 can of condensed cream of mushroom soup

Brown your ground beef or ground turkey in the oil with the chopped onion and garlic.  Drain and set aside.

Grease a two-quart casserole or covered baking dish before adding your sliced potatoes as evenly in a layer as you can.

Now combine your drained meat and alternate with another layer of potatoes, then meat until you finish with a layer of potatoes on top.

In a bowl, mix one can of mushroom soup with 3/4 cup of evaporated milk, 1/4 cup of ketchup, and 1/4 teaspoon of dried oregano.

Pour the soup mixture over the casserole and then top with the 1/2 cup of cracker crumbs.

Bake in a 350-degree oven for approximately one hour.

ENJOY!
