Nude lips are a great makeup look that you can never get tired of wearing. Being neutral, they can go with practically anything without worrying about clashing with your outfit or other cosmetics like Rimmel’s Lasting Finish by Kate Nude Collection of lipsticks that PR sent for this review.
This new drugstore line has 10 shades from chalky flesh tones to deep berry and brown infused nudes. The ones that showed up were #42 (light peach nude), #45 (light pink-nude), #48 (dark berry-nude), and #49 (deep coffee-nude).
These lipsticks have a creamy feel that makes them quite comfortable to wear. As far as the manufacturer’s claim of lasting eight hours, I think that was a bit of a stretch. You will want to touch up after several hours about four or so or after eating and drinking.
With my fair warm complexion, I thought #42 was too pale for skin tone, #45 was better due to the help of the pink to keep me from looking washed out. The dark shade of #48 was lovely, but hardly a traditional nude with all that berry to it. #49 was also wonderful against my pale skin and dark hair.
Depending on your preferences, there is a ideal nude shade of lipstick for you. Do check out this Lasting Finish By Kate Nude Collection of lipsticks wherever you buy Rimmel Cosmetics.
