Beauty Without Cruelty Lipstick, Vitamin CoQ10 Renewal Moisturizer and Hair Spray |
Originating in England, Beauty Without Cruelty came into existence with the belief a woman can still look beautiful without sacrificing animal lives in the process. Lady Dowding started the "cruelty free cosmetics" revolution that paved changes to cosmetic testing as we know it today. By 1989, the company expanded in product line from hair, skin care, to cosmetics and branched out to the United States as well.
Recently, I was sent three Beauty Without Cruelty products to review. I experimented with their Natural Hold Hair Spray first. I loved that it was a non-aerosol spray, which is better for the environment and for saving money from those aerosols that always stop coming out after a short time. This hair spray gave a nice, flexible hold without any sticky or hard feel to my hair.
However, I thought the best test of this product would be to see how my hair held up on a humid, rainy day. Honestly, my hair didn't droop like some sprays that even claim to protect against humidity.
The second item I tested was their Natural Infusion Lipstick in Birch. This lipstick was a moisturizing treat with color and a soothing balm type of a feel to it for my lips. The only thing I recommend is choosing a slightly darker shade than pictured. Birch looked a bit lighter in reality than on the website shot.
The last item I tested was their Vitamin C With CoQ10 Renewal Moisturizer. This cream moisturized deeply with a combination of organic aloe vera with shea butter, botanical extracts, Oshadhi organic essential oils with vitamin C, CoQ 10 and green tea extract.
I must admit I was happy with all three Beauty Without Cruelty products. In fact, I plan on trying some more in the future.
