We all know how important regular exfoliation is because without it our body lotions and anti-aging creams would just sit there on the top layer of the skin instead of penetrating deeper to do us the most good. However, I found a better way to exfoliate with ViaBuff Facial and Body Buffs that I had a chance to use.

What excites me is that the open cell polyurethane foam material of these buffs makes them more sanitary, for a more hygienic experience, being antifungal, antibacterial and allergen free than what’s typically out there for this purpose.

Mesh nylon poufs, sponges, and loofahs with their porous construction can be a breeding ground for bacteria and mold, which can lead to skin infections if used improperly and not regularly replaced.  On the other hand, this company’s product offers a healthier method of cleansing and exfoliating wet skin that may have knicks or wounds with its superior resistance to disease-causing contaminants that may be harboring in those other forms, especially when you neglect thoroughly drying them in a cool place after every use and leave them hanging in your bathroom.

Trying to keep those forms of buffs clean means frequent washing at least once a week.  Yet, you can’t toss that nylon pouf or loofah in your washing machine and expect to use them again like you can the ViaBuff, which can last up to 22 washes.

Another thing to love about ViaBuff is that you are in control of the strength of exfoliation that you want to use.  Think of what this means for your face first of all.  Exfoliating with rough cleansing grains can exfoliate and also cause micro-tears in your complexion, if using too much or too harsh a product.  Using a wash cloth might not be abrasive enough to remove the dirt or makeup that is deeply embedded.

I started with the moderate pink facial buff with some creamy goat milk cleanser and felt my complexion being exfoliated, but without any irritation or redness once I rinsed.  My skin was softer and glowed.

Customizing the levels of exfoliation whether for you face or your body is one that you will appreciate.  Since each of us have different skin concerns, ViaBuff addresses that need with four levels of exfoliation strength.

Level 1 (purple color)  is  extra gentle and recommended for those with sensitive, oily or acne-prone skin.

Level 2 (green color) is slightly more mildly abrasive and geared for normal or those with eczema.

Level 3 (pink color) is for moderate exfoliation and ideal for dry skin, ingrown hairs or those rough patches that can develop on arms or legs.

Level 4 (white color) is the most powerful way to remove dead skin that is intended for  those with very dry skin.

Those with combination skin can simply combine the levels they prefer such as 2 and 3, 3 and 4, 4 and 1, etc.

The pink and white ViaBuff that I sampled for my shower absorbed my shower gel well on the white side for lathering without needing to oversaturate it as I often need to do when using a bath sponge.  It also was abrasive enough to clean and stimulate circulation as it exfoliated.

I didn’t get a handle, which would have been great for doing hard to reach places like my back.  Good news though, ViaBuff has one that you can buy separately or packaged with their buffs.

Though this is a sponsored post written on the company's behalf, my opinion is my own honest one.  It was not necessary to provide it, but I really did like how both the Facial and Body Buffs performed for me as well. Do visit visit ViaBuff's website and shop because you will love these unique buffs.
