Mally Beauty Pro-Tricks Correcting Palette (Lighter)

Each of us knows what we consider our best features and those other features we think less of.  However, learning how to fool the eye with makeup to cast highlights and shadows can dramatically alter a face.  I had the opportunity to put Mally Beauty’s Pro-Tricks Correcting Palette to see how it would work for just that purpose.

Mally Beauty’s Pro-Tricks Correcting Palette has three shades in one compact with a lighter highlight shade, a middle shade that is a bit darker, and then a deeper color for contouring. Being fair-skinned, I went with the Lighter version of this palette over the Deeper one.

I prepped first with this palette of what Mally Roncal terms “war paint” before my foundation and the rest of my makeup. I began with the darkest and brushed some of this creamy shade underneath my jaw line, in the hollows of my cheeks, down the sides of my nose, and under the tip of my nose to create the illusions I needed.

Next, I went with the lightest color for the top of my cheekbones, in the center of my forehead, under my eyes, at the bridge of my nose, underneath the eyebrows, and at the center of my chin.  You can also mix both light shades for the under eye area depending on your coloring, but I preferred using the palest color along.

Afterwards, I dabbed on my foundation and normal under eye concealer before I finally went to work blending everything together.  At once, I noticed my face went from being oval to having more chiseled cheeks, a higher forehead, a slimmer nose, and a lift in the eye area. I finished off with my other cosmetics and really liked what I saw in the mirror using this palette.

What a Way to Shine! Mally Beauty High Shine Liquid Lipsticks (Mally's Baby, Must Have Pink) Review + SWATCHES!

Disclaimer:  This post is based on a free product provided by a company as a press sample so that I may offer my own  opinion, which may be the same or differ from yours.

On the left is Must Have Pink followed by Mally's Baby.

Whether you want to go subtle or bolder for a lip look, Mally Beauty's High Shine Liquid Lipsticks is a great place to start.  These velvety smooth lippies pack on shine, color, and coddle your lips with moisture.  Let me tell you more about this QVC 2012 Customer Choice Beauty Award Winner and introduce you to Mally's Baby and Must Have Pink that was sent along for this review.

The High Shine Liquid Lipsticks are in pen form with a brush applicator that you need to twist to release that amazing flow of juicy color.  In my opinion, I would consider these more a beautiful marriage of liquid lipstick and gloss instead of strictly a liquid lipstick due to that intense shine and pigmentation of a lipstick, only with a lightweight gloss like texture.  They also come with lip primer in the formula to extend wearing time, which is about five hours if you don't eat or drink.

Mally's Baby is a soft peachy nude with some fine glitter in its shimmer.  On the other hand, Must Have Pink is a flattering shimmering pink that has a bit more color without any superfine glitter to the formula.  Both shades would be quite easy to wear for most complexions.

I really think Mally Roncal did a fine job with the High Shine Liquid Lipsticks because they can bring a lot more to lips than just a mere gloss or lipstick.  If you haven't tried them yet, you can buy them at Mally Beauty or QVC.com for $20 each.  However, I warn you that one will not be enough!  You will want them all once you play with them.

Mally Beauty High Shine Liquid Lipstick and Shine Liner

Sensational is how your lips will look once you start wearing Mally Beauty lip color products like the ones sent to me for this review and giveaway.  I got to test out a High Shine Liquid Lipstick, a Go the Distance Lip Color, an exquisite Lip Magnifier Duo, and a Shine Liners Pencil and think you will be interested to hear what I have to say.

The first thing I tried was the Shine Liners Pencil in Nude Light to outline my lips.  You can use it to keep your gloss and lipstick perfect from spreading like I prefer or alone for some shiny pink-brown color.

The High Shine Liquid Lipstick is a great way to give your lips precise definition with a convenient built-in brush applicator. All you do is twist the base to release alluring color.   In addition, this formula is richer and more opaque in color than a typical gloss.

I was sent the Super Natural shade that is a pink-plum with a bit of copper shimmer for a flattering shine that felt creamy and adhered wonderfully.  This particular shade is so practical and can easily suit so many skin tones.

Mally Beauty's Lip Magnifier Duo is truly remarkable and comes with a sharpener.  You get one thick pencil that works for creamy color and another that can deliver amazing glossy color.   I was sent the Nude Rose (a darker pink with brown) and Pink Petal (darker than a tulip pink mellowed with a tad of brown for more natural pink) in these two pencils.  These are comfortable to wear and leave your lips feeling soft and pampered in the process

Go the Distance Lip Color has a lip gloss on one end and a lipstick at the other.  I got the Pinky Beige for Days that has a brown-beige lipstick and an accompanying bright creamy pink gloss.  You can wear each separately or apply the lipstick first and then the gloss for extended lasting wear for sexy beautiful color able to keep up with your busy life.  In case you prefer a more muted pink to bright, I liked how wearing the lipstick underneath toned the shade for a striking balance with polish.

I never had tried Mally Beauty lip products until this review.  Nonetheless, I found them incredibly unique and fun to work with.  My particular favorite is a cross between that Go the Distance Lip Color or the High Shine Liquid Lipstick.  Then again, the Lip Magnifier Duo and the Sheer Liners Pencil were wonderful beauty aids as well. Do check these products out.

Thanks to Mally Beauty, one lucky Nuts 4 Stuff reader in the United States wins all four of the fabulous lip color products from Mally Beauty, which include:  High Shine Liquid Lipstick in Super Natural; Lip Magnifier Duo in Nude Rose/Pink Petal; Shine Liners Pencil in Nude Light; and a Go the Distance Lip Color in Pinky Beige for Days ($100 total value)!
