NYC New York Color keeps evolving with the redesign of their original IndividualEyes Eyeshadow Palettes to meet current makeup trends.  With eight exciting new possibilities of nudes, smokeys and basics like 950 Smokey Violets, 945 Pink Nudes and 943 Bronze Nudes that PR sent, you can have a great look in seconds without spending a lot.

Take the 950 Smokey Violets.  The palette has a violet, mauve-lilac, a purple with some blue to it and a gleaming white for eyeshadow shades.  Besides its four coordinated eye shadow colors, this $4.99 palette also has a primer, illuminator, black gel eyeliner along with a double-sided sponge applicator and placement instructions.

Starting on the left is 945 Pink Nudes, 943 Bronze Nudes (middle) and shades of 950 Smokey Violets by my wrist on the right.

Next, I tried the 943 Bronze Nudes palette, which has a beautiful color payoff with warm neutrals that are sheer with light-reflecting pigments based around a very flattering bronze, pale beige-brown, champagne and taupe-brown.  The eyeliner in this palette is an umber brown with the same primer, illuminator, and sponge applicator.

The 945 Pink Nudes has red-plum and pink eyeshadow shades that add a gorgeous pink-toned neutral radiance to eyes for a more polished look.

My favorites are the nudes for the way they seem to enhance the skin.  In particular, I adore the 943 Bronze Nudes because with their wonderful rich pigmentation and how versatile this compact is for whatever you’re wearing.

If you are searching for an inexpensive eyeshadow palette of especially appealing nudes, I do recommend trying the 943 Bronze Nudes in these NYC New York Color IndividualEyes palettes.

NYC New York Color Cosmetics Sparkle Eye Dust Review (Champagne #893, Pink Champagne, #14 Karat Rose #892) + SWATCHES!

What I discovered with NYC New York Color Cosmetics Sparkle Eye Dust shadows in Champagne #893, Pink Champagne #14, and Karat Rose #892 are that they are ideal for capturing beams of pure sheer color to play up your eyes.  These three shades in particular come across as more of a highlight shade but don't let that stop you from using that gorgeous array of radiance on the entire eye lid.

In my above photo, Karat Rose #892 is on the left followed by Champagne #893 in the middle and ending with Pink Champagne #14 on the right.

These shadows are in the form of loose powder shadow that comes in a pot with attached brushed.  You don't have to worry about flying eye shadow powder to ruin your application.  Pull the brush out from inside the powder, dab against the sides of the container and there is no mess.

Champagne #893 is a gleaming beige-peach that you'll adore because it is so natural looking but effective as it lights up eyes.  Pink Champagne #14 will give you a pale mauve-pink with gold while the Karat Rose #892 provides a shimmering medium toned pink..  Have fun with these by themselves, or to highlight as well as to work with other shades to change those stunning effects that are possible.

I did try swatching these shades for you on my arm.  However, the photo did not come out where you could see those magnificent ribbons of light that these three Sparkle Eye Dust shadows throw off.

Pink Champagne #14 is on the left with Karat Rose #892 on the middle of my arm while Champagne #893 is on the right.

You will also appreciate how long lasting these shadows are.  If you haven't given them a try yet and want to shine with gleaming light on your eyes without glitter specks to spoil that effect, then I seriously suggest looking into buying these NYC New York Color Sparkle Eye Dust shadows.

NYC New York Color Eye Cosmetics Review + Swatches!

Creating eyes that can turn all the attention on you is easy enough  if you have the right products at your disposal.   Some will argue that real glam only can come from pricey, high end cosmetics.  However, I will clue you in there are equally fabulous, lower-priced options that can do the same thing to give you those bewitching eyes like these from  NYC New York Color that I was sent for this review.

To begin, I will tell you about my experience with their High Definition Liquid Eyeliner in #889 Extra Black.  This felt tip liner was so easy to work with.  I found the thin tip was just the right slim thickness to keep your line from being overly dramatic with bold thickness.  In addition, this product held up like a champ all day for me without flaking or smudging.

For those that are more comfortable with eyeliner pencils, I tried their Automatic Eyeliner Pencils  in #835 Brazen Blue, #833 Plum Perfect, #831 Basic Black, #832 Bold Brown, and #834 Vampy Violet.  These do not need sharpening and merely swivel up and twist to keep them fine tuned. They go on very nicely without tugging on that delicate skin and do last for a long time.

I noticed these colors are less intense than the previous eyeliner.   Nonetheless, this fact does not distract any quality from them, but only that it means that they can deliver more subtle looks.  For instance, the black is closer in color to a deep gray than a true black.   Another excellent feature is that all of these Automatic Eyeliner Pencils can be smudged to soften the line unlike the liquid form.

Next, I was provided with three of their Sparkle Dust Eyeshadows in #899 Lilac Sensation, (beaming pale lilac purple) #891 Opal Sparkle (radiant soft white), and #895 Smokey Topaz (plum with a pink-copper shimmer).  These are pots of stunning shimmering loose powder housed with a brush inside.  You may think this will cause a messy application.  However, you are wrong because you can tap any excess off the sides inside the container once you pull it out from the inner part with powder.

In the photos, Smoky Topaz is the one at the top on the left and closest to my wrist followed by Opal Sparkle and Lilac Sensation in the one below.

All are simply beautiful and as sheer washes of eye color that can light up your eyes with a luminous glow and not glitter flakes.

For additional use,  you might want to try Opal Sparkle to highlight your cheekbones because it makes a great illuminator on top of that blush color to give you those glowing cheeks.

High Definition Volumizing Mascara in #854 Extreme Black is what I finished with.  You will love how it separates and doesn't clump for gorgeous lengthened lashes.  Use your eyelash curler and watch how this product seems to magnify your lashes even more.

I found an interesting way to get the most out of this mascara that I would like to pass on to you.  Try applying it to the under parts of your lashes first.  Next, you wait a few seconds for it to dry and follow by hardly touching the lashes with the wand.  Proceed to quickly swipe through to the tips.  This little trick will really make you appreciate the fine qualities of this wonderful mascara.

The more NYC New York Color Cosmetics that I work with, the more impressed I am with the results of what is possible with them.  I definitely recommend any of these products because they are excellent finds if you ask me.

Neutral lip colors are always something I like to pick up when I am at the cosmetics counter.  Despite trends, the shades always seem to go with practically everything for when striving for a natural look besides being gorgeous for fall.  I especially noticed how using neutral lipsticks and glosses seem to enhance the look of smoky eyes like the stunning shades of NYC New York Color Cosmetics Ultra Last Lipwear that I was sent to review.

If you had never tried this brand of lipstick, then I highly recommend you do so now because they are fantastic quality.  These feel incredibly smooth on the lips and last for at least four hours.  Unlike some others, the Ultra Last Lipsticks do not melt into your lips to later leave an outline of color as I had recently experienced when using another brand that I bought previously that now changed their formula.  If all this isn't enought to excite you, then how little they cost will at only $1.99 each!

As to colors, these lipsticks have a striking range of colors to select from that deliver somewhat sheer shades like the five tubes that I want to acquaint you with.  Starting from the left in the photo below, I have Mousse #420, (an adorable beige pink-brown ), Brandy Sparkle #415 (a light infusion of a glistening plum to the brown), Caramel #401 (my favorite that has a tinge of shimmering red to the pink-brown), Mauve Gold #412 (slightly darker than Caramel with a pinch more gleaming brown), and Rose Gold #413 (a great basic peachy pink-brown that softly shimmers).

I am being sincere when I say I will definitely be buying these lipsticks again.  How can you afford not too?  These NYC New York Color Cosmetics Ultra Last Lipwear line are a tremendous value that will make you beautiful as well without any chance of letting you down in regard to quality!

5 NYC New York Color Cosmetics eye products. jpeg
NYC New York Color Cosmetics eye products

I can't resist browsing for cosmetics to see their latest and greatest products.  Something magical happens to your state of mind when you feel your most attractive self.  Better still when you discover just the right items that can help you achieve stunning results at a bargain price, then you want to shout it to the world as to your beauty expertise and shopping smarts like with these exciting  NYC New York Color Cosmetics eye products.

I received their Individual Eyes Limited Edition for Brown Eyes compact in Designer Denim.  This eye shadow set has a teal shade for the lid, a midnight blue for the crease/contour, a glistening soft black for an additional crease/contour shade, a white highlight, and a primer for the base, an illuminator together with a dual-end sponge applicator all for a mere $4.99.  The shades were a great color combination and when blended together really flattered my brown eyes.  What I found out is that the primer does make this last surprisingly well.

For daytime, I followed the directions for where to place the eye shadow colors.  Nighttime, I changed it for a more dramatic look by keeping the darker contour shades near the lashes and lightly feathered up.  Another thing I followed with was lining my eyes with their new Show Time Glitter Pencil for metallic sparkling effects, which outlined the lash line with tiny sparkles in the color almost like diamonds to really give eyes amazing impact.
The Starry Blue Sky (an inky blue near black) was my favorite to use with this eye shadow palette.

However, the Paparazzi Purple (a riveting purple) that I also received was pretty as well.  These Show Time Glitter Pencils were creamy, spread easily and wore well with Vitamins C and E in the formula.  Unlike other forms of liner, you can control the line better for thickness and smudge for the effect you like.  Although you could wear these pencils in the day, I like that extra glitzy glamour for night.

If your lashes need a boost, then you would love their new Big Bold Ultra-Volumizing Mascara.  I got to try one in Extreme Black.  I loved the fat plastic brush for making application a breeze and minimizing clumping.  My lashes really looked fuller.  However, I curled my lashes and then tried it again and, wow, did they look fantastic!

I also was sent a Cover Stick in Medium to review.  At first, I was afraid this shade might be too dark since I usually buy light, but I was mistaken.  In fact, I compared this medium to one of my old light shades and it was just a pinch darker for one and nearly a match to others.  I thought this stick spread very well as it was creamy without tugging that delicate under eye skin at all and gave remarkable coverage.  By the way, Medium in this line was the perfect color for me.  I definitely will be picking up one of their NYC New York Color Corrective Cover Sticks in Green and Yellow to see how those hide imperfections next.  At $1.99 each, you can't go wrong when it comes to experimenting.

I was surprised at the quality of these eye products and really liked them.  If you haven't tried NYC New York Color Cosmetics yet, then start with these because they are steals.  I know I will be buying more soon.
