Reasonably priced, Jergens Oil-Infused Monoi Moisturizer also has such a beautiful scent.

My skin tends to be on the dry side.  The problem is worse during cold weather.  Therefore, I was glad to try one of Jergens Oil-Infused Moisturizers in the Monoi scent when it arrived for this review.

As soon as you open the cap, you are greeted to a lovely gardenia fragrance.  Yet, once you squeeze some of this creamy white lotion out and lavish your skin with it, it is fast absorbing on contact without leaving any greasy residue behind.

This product nicely hydrates whether you use it like a hand lotion or to lubricate while your body is still wet after bathing.  It left my skin silky and lightly perfumed with that enticing floral scent due to the monoi oil.

I thought it was wonderful and want to try the other Coconut scent soon.  You can find this Jergens Oil-Infused Monoi Moisturizer at your local Target store.

Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer With Calming Green Tea Oil Review

This award-winning product does not disappoint!
If you are hoping to seal in moisture for maximum body lubrication, I tried a new body moisturizer from Jergens that gave my skin the perfect finishing touch for hydrating after my shower with their Wet Skin Moisturizer With Calming Green Tea Oil.  This product won the breakthrough award from Allure Magazine in 2015 and is worth your attention for several reasons.

First of all, you don’t need to use very much once you apply to damp skin.  Start with about a dime size per arm and use a little bit more for rubbing over legs and the rest of you is enough for making the skin feel silky.

The Wet Skin Moisturizer didn’t make me feel greasy or sticky even later through my day.  This is important to me, especially in this hot weather.

The fragrance of Calming Green Tea Oil was a fresh, light scent that also was pleasant for summer without overpowering the senses.

Finally, you got to appreciate the reasonable price.  Depending on where you shop, you can expect to pay around $6.99 for a generous 10 fl. oz. bottle.  You can’t beat all those positive points.  I say look for Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer With Calming Green Tea Oil or the other varieties because it performs!

Thymes NEW Jade Matcha Fragrance Set Review and Giveaway!–Ends May 23, 2014

Thymes Jade Matcha  Rollerball Fragrance Set

Luckily for perfumistas everywhere, Thymes came out with a few new fragrances to their Studio Collection. The Tiare Monoi Whipped Body Cream that I reviewed earlier is a floral that is enchanting.  Today, I want to give you my take on their fresh scent of Jade Matcha, which arrived in the Petite Lotion and Cologne Rollerball Set for this review and giveaway.

The fragrance has a light and juicy burst of freshness as it opens with notes of bergamont and tangy lemongrass.  Yet, you can detect that green, tea-like aroma within, slowly filtering through from the Matcha tea, changing was what formerly fresh to aromatic.

The longer this scent develops, the more the sugarcane warms with that tea, making the fragrance evolve again.

As this fragrance dries down in the base, it is undergoing another exquisite transformation, becoming creamier and infused with hints of spice. There is a mysterious element brewing as the notes mingle with the tonka bean that gives Jade Matcha a more pronounced aroma of rich opulence that is beautifully refined in its composition.

This is a sophisticated take on a fresh scent that lasts wonderfully when worn for hours, especially if you layer it with the matching lotion.

If you need a wonderful Mother’s Day gift, this fragrance may be just the thing.  The Petite Lotion and Cologne Rollerball Set retails for $20.  Do visit Thymes and check the Jade Matcha Collection out.

What to Look for When Buying Body Lotion to Keep Skin at Its Best!

Those that think all body lotions are created equally are sorely mistaken.  While all formulas provide moisture, some inexpensive varieties mask the problem by covering up the dryness instead of healing it.

Therefore, you need to scrutinize that label of any body lotion carefully before buying if you expect to keep your skin healthy and in the best condition.

Start making it a habit of reading labels to see what you are paying for.  Ingredients are listed from the most prevalent to the least on any product label.  The first three ingredients are the most important for skin benefits.

Look for a phytobotanical oil that is derived from plants such as Shea butter, Jojoba Oil, or oils taken from fruits (like peach oil or coconut oil, etc.)  for effectively nourishing your skin.

Cheaper formulas often substitute mineral oil which will appear to soothe, but is more a temporary fix for skin.

Natural formulations, on the other hand, are more expensive due to active ingredients from plants or fruits since they are closely resembling our own skin oils when compared chemically.  Those potent components provide the healing skin solution.

The next on your lookout list when buying your body lotion revolves around scent since not all scents are made the same way as well.  For instance, if you pick up a bottle of lavender body lotion and expect to benefit for its mood soothing qualities, then it must contain lavender as an essential oil.

Essential oils are the only scents that have beneficial properties since they were extracted from plants so keep that in mind.  Lavender from fragrance oil will do nothing except let you smell pretty.  Again, this is the reason natural and organic formulas are more costly than some drugstore brands.

Remember to apply your body lotion after your shower or bath while you are still damp.  Be sure to moisturize within ten minutes so that you get the most advantage out of it.  By making a few adjustments to your routine, your skin will be more beautiful and better nourished than ever!

Melvita's Red Berry Body Milk Moisturizer.jpeg
Melvita's  Red Berry Body Milk Moisturizer

If you want to smell as temptingly delicious as a basket of freshly picked raspberries and soften your skin with beneficial organic ingredients in the process, then look no further.  Lately, I have been pampering myself with Red Berry Body Milk Moisturizer from French beauty brand, Melvita, and it is something to indulge in.

This is a yummy, fruity delight to spoil you as well as treat with Shea butter and sesame oil for their moisturizing capabilities along with antioxidant properties of fresh raspberry, blueberry, and red currant extracts for repairing skin.

The formula bathes your body in a luscious, creamy milk consistency that is well absorbing.  As you dispense this luxurious lotion from its convenient pump and apply, the experience of the refreshing berry scent will help enliven your senses with stimulating aromatherapeutic action.

Anyone hunting for a fantastic organic body lotion would love this product, especially those drawn in particular to raspberry scents.  However, its incredibly scrumptious aroma does seem to make you hungry along with beautifully caring for your skin!

The 6.7 oz. bottle retails for $28.  Do visit Melvita and test for yourself the stimulating berry driven formula of Red Berry Body Milk Moisturizer.  You will like it.
