The holidays ahead usually mean gift wrapping. If you have a pair of dull scissors that aren't as sharp as you would like, then I have a way to correct that problem for you.
Of course, you could just throw an inexpensive pair away. However, I am thrifty and do think everyone likes to save when possible if the solution is easy enough.
All you need to do is get a clean piece of steel wool. Take that steel wool and rub it over the edge of the blades. This buffing action will sharpen those awful scissors and give them new life.
You will find those newly sharpened scissors gliding through that holiday wrapping paper or material without effort. I do hope you will try this little tip first before investing in a new pair.
