Bento Storage Boxes are decorative and functional. |
I don't know about you, but I seem to have more things than I do room. When I had the chance to review the Rubbermaid's new storage system of containers with toppers called Bento Boxes, I was excited to try them out to better organize my stuff.
My set of Bento Boxes came in the dark red, Paprika color. When I examined my products, I was immediately impressed with the quality plywood construction, the fabric covering of polyester that can be wiped clean, besides the fantastic interchangeable ways to use them with the toppers and boxes.
The Bento lids can be used as either a topper to close the box without anything on top. Another way to cover your box and still store your items openly is by using the Bento lid as a separate tray for your items. For instance, in your family room, you could keep your dvds or cds in the bottom of the medium box, perhaps, and then make a tray out of the matching lid for your what you want handy such as your remote controls.
Another thing I was thinking of was storing my scarfs, hats, and gloves in one. I thought the small box would be fantastic to keep my belts. The largest of the boxes I might consider putting my expensive handbags inside.
You can buy these online at Rubbermaid or at Fred Meyer.
I honestly love my set and wouldn't mind having more. In fact, this set would make a fabulous and practical Christmas gift for anyone on your shopping radar--including yours truly, oh Santa!
*Disclaimer: This is my own honest opinion. No money was exchanged. I did receive free product from Rubbermaid to facilitate this review.*
