This is Dynamic ($45). |
This is Euphoric ($45). |
All the skin care benefits this particular foundation has with argan oil, shea butter, aloe, vitamin E, squalane, rapeseed, blueberry fruit extract among its other ingredients along with raw pigments for complete healthy coverage really appealed to me.
Here is Dynamic (left) and Euphoric (right) before blending. |
This is not a thick, but a noticeably thinner, fluidly formula with an oily consistency. The pump can dispense too much if you’re not careful so press lightly. You don’t need to use all that much to get nice luminous coverage.
I blended the swatches here (Dynamic is one the left with Euphoric on the right). |
As to the colors, I am only familiar with the two shades that arrived. I am fair to light, depending on the brand with warm undertones. Dynamic has a whitish cast to the pale beige that was a bit too ghostly for my complexion. On the other hand, Euphoric, the darker shade I received had more orange to the beige than I expected for a light with neutral undertones and was too dark with my coloring. The remedy I found was mixing a few drops of both together to customize my own blend of a foundation shade.
While the colors may be somewhat off than we’re used to, this foundation not only helped smooth over all my pores and gave my dry complexion a glow with a dewy finish while also continuing to beautify my skin after removing it. My skin looked more refined and void of pores, which impressed me.
If you are in the market for a new foundation, then you might want to check out Josie Maran Vibrancy Argan Oil Foundation. My only advice is you may want to order two close shades, a lighter shade to your normal shade to customize the color.
