Glossybox March 2018 beauty.jpeg
Glossybox March 2018 is true beauty, $114.50 worth of fabulous products!

This month’s Glossybox celebrates a woman’s true beauty in honor of International Women’s Day with the perfect assortment of not five, but six full and deluxe sizes of luxury skin, hair and makeup products just as hard-working and amazing as we are.

An advantage of subscribing to this monthly beauty box subscription is what you can discover in each new assortment.  Imagine testing some of your favorites or new beauty brands for just  $21.00 a month and free USA shipping.

The eye and concealer pencils are so useful to find in a beauty box.

The company puts out several versions of the same month’s box.  Therefore, you may receive products like what arrived in my box or one that has a few different items.  Regardless, the value of all the boxes is comparable and just as exciting.

For instance, Glossybox March 2018 is an outstanding beauty month in my opinion.  Let me show you to understand why it is so tempting.  I found six amazing beauty goodies!

Glossybox March 2018

1.  Cover FX Perfect Pencil Concealer (Full Size)----------------------------------$20.00
2.  Figs & Rouge Soft Focus Pore Perfect + Matte Veil (Full Size)-------------$35.00
3.  Form Beauty Multitask: 3-In-I Leave-In Lotion (1.7 fl. oz. Sample)-----------$4.00
4.  De Bruyere Beaute Jumbo Eye Pencil (Full Size)------------------------------$18.00
5.  Morgan Taylor Professional Nail Lacquer (Full Size)---------------------------$9.50
6.  Unani Il-Luminate Milk Cleanser (Full Size 6.76 oz.)---------------------------$28.00

Total Approximate Value: $114.50!

The Cover FX Perfect Pencil Concealer came in G Light, which was right on target for my warm light skin.  I never tried this brand until this one showed up, but loved how precise it was.  It also was creamy and provided ample coverage for hiding any imperfections.  It’s a waterproof formula that holds up well to wear.

Figs & Rouge Soft Focus Pore Perfect is a primer that smooths out the complexion and keeps the skin matte.  This is  a wonderful product to keep my complexion fresh through summer heat.

Form Beauty Multitask 3-In-I Lotion is a great hair rescue.  This product strengthens and conditions the hair with coconut oil, argan oil, avocado oil, and grapeseed oil to keep it sensational. My hair felt softer, but was very manageable.

The Morgan Taylor Professional Nail Lacquer I got in my box was in a coral-pink shade of Cancan We Dance.  This is pretty for summer fingernails to toes against bronzed skin. It is one of those perky, bright shades that automatically makes you feel happy.

The De Bruyere Beaute Jumbo Eye Pencil was in the shade of Bubble 07, an awesome metallic khaki that I’m confident can look good on any eye.   It is creamy to use as both a shadow and as a liner.  This color seemed to make my dark brown eyes smolder.

Like a cherry on top of an ice cream sundae, Glossybox treated us to a sixth product.  My box has the Unani Il-Luminate Milk Cleanser, which is a creamy emulsion of pampering skin care that rinses makeup and grime easily away with water.  This product and brand were completely new to me, but I liked how quickly they dissolved makeup.

If you want my honest opinion, this is my favorite Glossybox assortment of the boxes I received so far.  What do you think?

Here’s something fun that I want to share.  Go to glossybox.com and tell them about someone you want to nominate as a True Beauty using #GLOSSYBeauty.  You know the woman that has that something special and does extra for everyone, always cheerful and smiling--a True Beauty.   If your entry is selected, you and your friend both win GLOSSYCredit to spend!

Think of getting a Glossybox beauty subscription and entering the True Beauty promotion.  You'll just love what this beauty box can do for you.

Glossybox February 2018 #GLOSSYkisses Review

Glossybox-February-2018.jpeg
Glossybox February 2018 is ready for lots of kisses.

Despite the depressing, never-ending snow, my day brightened the other day when the latest Glossybox arrived.  The theme for February 2018 from this beauty subscription box is #GLOSSYkisses to make most of Valentine’s Day beauty!

If you have been thinking of subscribing to a beauty box and are trying to narrow your choices down, then let me tell you the advantages of Glossybox.  What I love is each box has at least five full and larger sample sizes of luxury brands of makeup, skin and body care, hair products, fragrances to tools for just $21.00 a month and free USA shipping.  Furthermore, I never saw a box better packaged than the way Glossybox does there with an outer box protecting the pretty pink interior box to secure all your beauty goodies. You also get a huge sheet with photos and details about each product in your monthly assortment along with any special deals with a coupon code.

Now that I piqued your curiosity, let me dive right into what you may see in your February 2018 box.  However, I do want to remind you that Glossybox sends out several different assortments each month.  Some of the products that you see here will be the same; however others may be different, but of the same value.  Regardless, I'm sure that you'll probably love it just as I do.  Check out below.

Glossybox February 2018

1.  John Masters Organics Body Wash (2.0 oz. Sample)----------------------$6.50
2.  John Masters Organics Body Milk (2.0 oz. Sample)-------------------------$6.50
3.  Royal Apothic Scrubbie Exfoliated Lip Treatment (Full Size)-------------$14.00
4.  Doucce Lush Lip Gloss (Full Size)------------------------------------------------$22.00
5.  JJ Young Mud Sheet Mask (1 Mask)-----------------------------------------------$5.00
6.  Pick And Pinch Pink Metallic Slant Tweezer -----------------------------------$20.00

Total Approximate Value: $74.00!

Both John Masters Organics Body Wash and Body Milk came in the scent of Geranium & Grapefruit.  This is fresh, but a sweeter citrus due to the floral that was lovely for sudsing as well as leaving a subtle scent when moisturizing with this lightweight lotion.  Starting your day with this duo can definitely lift up a bleak mood, which I appreciated.  Using Glossybox18 you can get 20% off any order at John Masters website if you order before April 15.

The Royal Apothic Scrubbie Lip Treatment has a deliciousness about it.  It is made of natural sugar, fig extract and oils that moisturize as well as exfoliates.  My lips were smooth and tasty.

The Doucce Lush Lip Gloss that I received was in Glistening Petals.  This is a medium warm pink with a delicate shimmer that is so versatile.  I will get lots of use of this one. It also feels good on the lips with plenty of lubrication.

I didn’t get a chance to try the JJ Young Mud Pore Green Tea Mud Sheet Mask yet because of prior skin care testing commitments, but will treat my complexion to a detox with this Korean skin care mask very soon.  Besides green tea, it also has rose hip and charcoal to purge pores of impurities while helping to restore moisture.

I also got the Pick And Pinch Pink Metallic Slant Tweezer.  This product I will be giving away to my neighbor’s daughter because I have no use for a tweezer since my brows are professionally done.  They do have a pretty rose-gold finish and look angled enough to grab onto tiny hairs.

Overall, it was a good box with a $74.00 value.  My only disappointment was finding the tweezer instead of a product that I would use since I have no use for one.  Nonetheless, it will be going to a good home where it can be appreciated. What do you think of Glossybox February 2018?

For $21.00 you get $74.00 worth of beauty is a great deal to me.  Check this luxury beauty subscription out and all they have to offer at the Glossybox website.

Glossybox November 2017 Review

Glossybox-november-2017.jpeg
Grateful is the theme for Glossybox November 2017.

With bright lights and festive decorations, the holidays are always magical and a time that you want your look to sparkle.  In the spirit of the season, this month’s assortment of beauty from Glossybox can help with that goal.

What I find so appealing about their beauty subscription box is how thought out their boxes are for variety and appealing luxury brands.  Every Glossybox has at least five full and larger sample sizes of top brands of makeup, skin care, body and hair care, nail products, fragrances to tools for only $21.00 a month and free shipping within the USA.  Also, I love the big informational sheet with plenty of large photos to fully explain and demonstrate the product along with any special deals with a coupon code.

Once again, Glossybox was right on the mark for their November picks. Just for the record, the company sends out several different boxes each month so what you may see here may be slightly altered with a product or two than your own box might have. However, replacements always have around the same value.  Here is what my particular box contained this month.

Glossybox November 2017

1.  Tarte Cosmetics Tarteist Brow Gel (Full Size)---------------------------------------$19.00
2.  Evio Beauty Green Tea Primer (Full Size)---------------------------------------------$29.50
3.  Kat Von D Beauty Eau de Parfum (0.17 fl. oz. Sample)-----------------------------$6.50
4.  Laqa & Co. Cloud Lips Airy Matte Lipstick (Full Size)-------------------------------$17.00
5.  Nature Queen Shampoo & Conditioner (Sample Sizes 3.38 oz. each)-----------$8.14

Total Approximate Value: $80.14!

The Tarte Cosmetics Tarteist Brow Gel is a clear gel that tames any wayward brows without excess stiffness or flaking issues.  This water-infused formula has a great little brush to work with.

The Evio Beauty Green Tea Primer is healthy green tea plus an avocado oil formula that is infused with antioxidants.  The consistency is in between a gel and a lotion.  I thought it was lightweight, but hydrating and made a wonderful base for keeping foundation fresher and wearing longer.

Kat Von D Beauty Saint Eau de Parfum was fresh floral with vanilla, musk and jasmine.  It comes off  romantic and very feminine.  Some boxes got the Sinner perfume, a spicier fragrance.  I never smelled that one, but I really loved the one I got.

The Laqa & Co. Cloud Lips Airy Matte Lipstick was in the shade of Daydream.  This is the same beautiful medium pink-mauve everyone can expect to get in their box.  This lipstick is well-pigmented, creamy and comforting with its beneficial conditioning ingredients such as avocado oil and vitamin E.  It also stays put for long-lasting wear without feeling heavy on the lips.

Nature Queen Shampoo and Conditioner are aromatic blends with their herb infused formulas for nourishing, stimulating, disinfecting hair and the scalp.  My hair was a lot shinier with more bounce to it.

My favorites this month have to the Saint Perfume, the Laqa Lipstick and the Green Tea Primer, which feels more like a skin treatment than primer. Did you get your Glossybox yet?  If not, why are you waiting?  Check this beauty subscription box out because it is a great way to satisfy your beauty addiction!

Glossybox August 2017 Review

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Glossybox August 2017.jpeg
The August box is a nice month of beauty to stay cool through summer.

If you are addicted to beauty products, then meeting up with a great beauty subscription box is the way to go.  One in particular that I happen to love is Glossybox that features at least five full and larger sample sizes of luxury brands of skin, body and hair care, makeup, nails, etc. in each pink box for just $21 a month and free USA shipping.  This box also arrives with an info sheet about the products and any special deals with a coupon code.

Stay cool happens to be the theme of Glossybox August 2017 with beauty geared to refreshing your total summer look.  Before I share what my box brought, I want to remind you that Glossybox sends different variations so what I got may not necessarily be what you will receive.  Some products will be the same in all boxes, but a few may change.  Here’s what my latest box contained below.

Glossybox August 2017

1.  Pixi by Petra Brow Tamer (Sample .15 fl. oz.)-------------------------------------------------$7.50
2.  Doucee x Glossybox Freematic Blush in Vintage Mauve (Full Size Mono)----------$14.00
3.  Beautiful Nutrition Lemon Rinse Gentle Clarifying Treatment (Sample 2 oz.)--------$2.40
4.  Lancome Paris Monsieur Big Mascara (Sample 0.06 oz.)----------------------------------$2.50
5.  Sesha Skin Therapy Botanical Hydro Mask (Full Size)------------------------------------- $9.00
6.  Bliss Fabulous Foaming Face Wash (Sample 2 oz.)-----------------------------------------$7.00

Total Estimated Value: $42.40

The Pixi by Petra Brow Tamer offers mild control to keep brows in line.  Ever since I had my brows professionally done through electrolysis, I don’t need the same maintenance as before. I have one misbehaving hair on one brow that does bother me so I do like a clear gel like this to control it.

The Douccee x Glossybox Freematic Blush sent was to complete the July duo palette.  I received Vintage Mauve, which is ideal with my fair to light, warm coloring. I wear a lot of mauves!  It packs a lot of mostly matte pigment with a slight shimmer.

The Beautiful Nutrition Lemon Rinse Gentle Clarifying Treatment is a product that I used before.  I like to use it before coloring my hair to make sure all styling products are gone.

I was excited to get the new Lancome Paris Monsieur Big Mascara that was released.  I had been wanting to try this one and was debating whether to buy it when I found it in this box. This sample size is perfect because it can travel well when I pack my bag for vacation.

Sesha Skin Therapy Botanical Hydro Mask has skin nourishing botanicals such as cucumber, aloe and plenty of hyaluronic acid to restore and rejuvenate a sun-abused complexion.  I don’t worship the sun now that I know the dangers it can cause. Still, I have a dry complexion that always needs a moisture boost. After I applied this mask to my clean face, I left it on and relaxed for about thirty minutes.  Once I took it off and rinsed, my face felt ever so soft and pampered.

The Bliss Fabulous Foaming Face Wash is a lemon-scented cleanser that dissolves grime and makeup with rose hip extract, milk thistle and chamomile before rinsing away with water. It is supposed to have exfoliating action as well. Judging by the feel, it is a very gentle type of abrasion that is hard to detect.  Yet, it is great for sensitive skin like mine and cleans the face well.

The value of this month may have been less than a few past boxes, but it was still a pleasing box with outstanding products!  Have you tried Glossybox yet?  Check them out!

Hello Beautiful Summer--Glossybox June 2017 Review Helps Get You Ready!

*Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Glossybox June 2017.jpeg
Tropical beauty is the theme for this June 2017 Glossybox.

We all want value in the beauty products we buy.  Until I received my first Glossybox, I had no idea of the tremendous assortment of premium brands that I got to try for a fraction of what they would normally run if purchased on their own.  This beauty subscription made an exciting addition for any addicted beauty lover like me.

Glossybox gives five luxury products from full to generous sample sizes of makeup, nail, skin and hair care to  tools, etc. for just $21 with free USA shipping. You also get a detailed sheet on each pick in the box as well.

The company does put out quite a few different versions during a month.  Therefore, my box that I’m about to show you may have some products that may change once your box arrives or from other reviewers. Nonetheless, whatever item is replaced will have equivalent value.

The theme for June 2017 is Hello Summer with makeup colors and textures for breezy summer looks that can help capture the season.  Let me show you the goodies that I found in my particular box.

Glossybox June 2017 out of the box.jpeg
This box also has fantastic packing to safeguard products with a box in a box.

Glossybox June 2017

1.  The Creme Shop The OMG Brush (Full Size)---------------------------------------$10.00
2.  Bang Beauty Cream Color (Full Size)--------------------------------------------------$22.00
3.  Julep Color Treat Nail Polish (Full Size)-----------------------------------------------$14.00
4.  Talika Photo-Hydra Day (Full Size)------------------------------------------------------$29.00
5.  Biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil (Deluxe .14 fl. oz. Sample)-------$10.00

Total Approximate Value: $85.00!

The Creme Shop brush that I got was the Contour & Concealer. It has the white handle and was extremely soft with lots of wonderfully positioned bristles for ideal maneuvering.

The Bang Beauty Cream Color I found was in the shade of Dolce Pink.  It is a warm rose-pink with some shimmer that gives cheeks a radiant, but not sparkly sort of glow.  Another plus is that it looks great to wear on the lips to compliment the blush color.

The Julep Color Treat Nail Polish is a rosy-orchid color with a fine shimmer in the shade of Lorraine–Classic With a Twist.  I didn’t try this yet, but I love that it is a healthy vegan formula that includes hexanal for nail strengthening and antioxidant green coffee extract.

The Talika Photo-Hydra Day Moisturizer is a unique formula that has a special capability to energize the skin through natural light that brings a wonderful glow as it hydrates with hyaluronic acid and its hydra-photo beauty in a lightweight, gel-cream consistency.

The Biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil was formerly known as The Nourisher, if you ever tried anything from this brand before.  This is a new company to me, but I liked the formula with its roses, vitamin C and 100% plant-based squalane for anti-aging.  It feels great on the skin and doesn’t leave you greasy, just silky.  In fact, you can 10% off the full size $72 bottle if you use coupon code:  GLOSSYBOX10 at biossance.com until July 31, 2017.

If you ask me, Glossybox put together a fabulous summer beauty box for June 2017 that was a real bargain.   Trying is the only way that you’ll be convinced yourself what a fun value it is just to shop for beauty.  Check them out because you’ll love their beauty box subscription–-I promise!
