Changing your makeup look doesn't have to cost a lot.

Rimmel London came out with some wonderful new additions to their line several months ago like the Colour Edition of the Magnif’Eyes Eyeshadow Palette and the Stay Matte Liquid Lip Colours.  I had reviewed the three original neutral palettes in an earlier post and really liked what they did for my eyes.  With that said, I couldn’t help myself and was determined to see what both would be like.

An Affordable Eyeshadow Palette With a Range of Color  and Possibilities

The Magni’Eyes Colour Edition Palette has 12 pans of eye-catching colors.  Three of the shades are more matte and the rest are quite shimmery.

Inside this sleek, inexpensive palette, you get an amazing dual-ended applicator that you’re going to love.  It has one sponge-tip side and the other end is a brush, which is the perfect size for doing smaller areas like the corners of the eyes when making the V to smoke out.

swatches-magnif'eyes-colour-affordable-palette.jpeg
Look at the vibrant range of 12 colors and all the beautiful eye possibilities at your disposal.

The palette is highly pigmented with a great range of color to play with that is suitable for all skin tones.  You can create a neutral eye, go bolder to all out glam easily with a sultry, smoky eye.

The shadows don’t stir up a lot of dust, especially important if you have any sensitivity or allergies like mine.  These eyeshadows also blend beautifully and are ideally matched for coordinating lots of interesting looks when experimenting with the colors.

Long-lasting Formula that Can Keep Up With Your Day

I wore mine both with a primer and without a primer.  This palette does wear for hours without a primer.  I did not experience any crease problems, but it does hold up better for the longest wear when applying the primer.  The only thing that I noticed is if you’re going for an intense vibrant look, the eyeshadow stays put but the color lightens up somewhat.

The Magni’Eyes Colour Edition Palette is a fun and versatile eyeshadow set that gives you a lot of exciting choices to change your look according to the occasion or your mood without breaking the bank.

Inexpensive Matte Liquid Lipsticks

I also got to sample four of their Stay Matte Liquid Lip Colours with 100 Pink Bliss (warm pink-strawberry), 720 Mocha (medium nude), 110 Blush (dusty pink), and 210 Rose & Shine (rose-pink).  The pink range that was sent happens to be stunning and would suit all in my opinion.  The reasonable drugstore line has ten other shades available.  It also has a great doe-foot applicator that is the just right for shaping and filling in the lips without being too large, too small or awkward to work with.

inexpensive-stay-matte-lip-swatches.jpeg
Closest to my wrist and going down my arm is 100 Pink Bliss, 720 Mocha, 110 Blush, and ending with 210 Rose & Shine.

The Formula

The Stay Matte Liquid Lip Colour does stay on your lips for the most part through eating and drinking during a long day.  The only problem is you won’t have as much color on as you started with, but more of a stain.

However, you aren’t forced to reapply.  Nonetheless, you probably will want to because of the dry feel on the lips after a while. Then again, this is common with many matte lip formulas.  To address that problem, I apply some lip balm and am good to go.

This formula takes effort to dislodge it with a makeup remover.  Washing with plain soap and water will not get this lip product to budge.

If you want trustworthy liquid lipstick coverage, you will like Rimmel’s Stay Matte Liquid Lip Colour for keeping up with you.  My advice is check this and the Magnif’Eyes Colour Edition Palette when you are in need of new affordable lip and eyeshadow.

Rimmel Insta Duo Contour Stick (001 Light) Review + Swatches

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

cheap-makeup-contour-stick.jpeg
This makeup stick can reshape and emphasize facial features.

Contouring and highlighting products keep evolving in order to capture our attention and beauty dollars.  A good example is Rimmel’s Insta Duo Contour Stick that has both of those cosmetics in one convenient product.

This line has three shades to choose from with 001 Light, 200 Medium and 300 Dark.

contour-side-of-makeup stick.jpeg
Expect decent color payoff.

Being on the fair to light side, I opted for the Light shade.  The contour side is warm medium brown while the highlight is a champagne with an underlying pink color and subtle shimmer.

highlight-of-contour stick.jpeg
This creamy highlight shade gives the skin a delicate glow.

The Formula of This Cosmetic Has Merit

swatches-of-contour-stick.jpeg
Notice the beaming radiance coming from that pink cast of the highlight to the sunny bronze contour.

You got to love the creaminess of this formula for how well it blends.  I used a contour brush, but you can also use your fingers to apply and get great results.

The formula also is light enough that your complexion can still breathe without that heaviness of thicker coverage.

Also, the highlight isn’t overly sparkly to spoil your complexion with obvious glitter. What you can expect is a softer, refined gleam of radiance wherever you place it.

Still, you got to appreciate the convenience of multitasking makeup like this that has two cosmetics of contour and highlight together in one.

The formula provides at least four hours of longevity when I tested it without a primer.  Priming first will surely prolong the wear time.

A Well-Performing Cheap Contour Stick

For about $5.00 to $6.00, contouring and highlighting are easy to do without overspending.  In fact, you can buy all three shades to play with and still come out ahead compared to the cost of some higher end brands.

If you’re just start to experiment with makeup, Rimmel’s Insta Duo Contour Stick is something that I’m sure you’ll love.  Check the line out at your local drugstores or wherever you shop for Rimmel Cosmetics or visit the company’s website.

Rimmel’s New Wonder Ombre Holographic Eyeliners Can Freshen Up Your Look for Spring 2018

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Wonder-Ombre-Eyeliners.jpeg
These eyeliners present multiple possibilities to give the eyes an unexpected edge of fresh color.

One fabulous look for eyes this coming season will be incorporating some holographic color along with black for adding interesting depth to magnify them.  A way that you can experiment with this exciting makeup trend inexpensively is with a new line of Rimmel’s Wonder Holographic Eyeliners that I got to test out.

This is a line of four double-ended pencils with a lighter holographic side of color and a darker shade on the opposite side that run about $5.49 each.  The shades are 001 Super Nova Sky (inky blue with a whitish-blue-violet holographic side), 002 Galactic Green (blackish green/holographic mint-gold green), 003 Purple Prism (blackish plum/holographic pale pink-violet), and 004 Golden Gaze (blackish brown/holographic gold).

swatches-of-wonder-ombre-eyeliners.jpeg
From left to right is 004 (Golden Gaze), 003 Purple Prism, 002 Galactic Green and ending with 001 Super Nova Sky on the right.

Use Holographic Color Alone or Overlap Deeper Color Can Give Two Different Fresh Effects for Your Spring 2018 Look.

You can wear them by lining your top lid with the dark side and saving the holographic end to line your bottom lid.  Another technique to try is using the darker side to circle the eyes before going over them with the holographic color.  This also will add some pizzazz to your eyes for spring 2018.  Either choice really creates an amazing eye.

These pencils glide along the lids without tugging on delicate skin, which is important.  They also are long-wearing and will require eye makeup remover to finally take them off.  Soap and water will just not cut it.

As to the colors, I thought the 002 Galactic Green was my favorite among the group. It had the most color and played off that holographic side the best for creating stunning eyes in my opinion.

Holographic Duo Eyeliner Offers Startling Color to Freshen Eyes to Update Your Look.

I really had fun working with these eyeliner pencils.  You can control the thickness and thinness of your line to build up color or always further emphasize the line with a liquid or pen eyeliner to go bolder.

Have you tried any of these Rimmel Wonder Ombre Holographic Eyeliners yet?  If so, let me know by sharing your thoughts with me.

Find Rimmel’s new Wonder Ombre Holographic Eyeliners at your local drugstore, Target, Walmart or wherever you normally shop for their products.  Check them out.

Avon True Color Lipsticks and True Color Nourishing Lipsticks Review + Swatches

avon-lipsticks.jpeg
From left to right is Carnation, Rose Dew, Spiced Apricot, Toasted Rose, Proper Pink, Sparkling Mauve, Cherry Blossm, Wild Ginger, Country Rose, Rich Rum, Perfect Red, Red 2000, and Brown Sugar.

I consider lipstick a beauty essential.  The right color can flatter your face, compliment your outfit and make an amazing difference in the comfort of your lips.  The way I see it is you can never have too many lipsticks.  Therefore, I was pleased when a box of Avon lipsticks showed up at my door.

lipstick-swatches.jpeg
Starting by my wrist and going down is Cherry Blossom, Country Rose, Wild Ginger, Sparkling Mauve, Red 2000, Brown Sugar, Rose Dew, Toasted Rose, Carnation, Proper Pink, Rich Rum, Spiced Apricot, and Perfect Red.

This assortment mostly consisted of Avon’s True Color Lipstick line of satins and shimmers.  Besides stunning color, these have vitamin E, omega-3 oil and shea butter in their formula for moisturizing lips.

Out of the forty shades from that line, I got Carnation (mauve-pink), Rose Dew (soft plum-brown), Spiced Apricot (pink-brown), Toasted Rose (warm pink), Proper Pink, (pale cool pink) Sparkling Mauve (mauve-plum), Wild Ginger (orange-red), Country Rose (strawberry-pink), Rich Rum (brown), Perfect Red (brick red), and Red 2000 (cherry-red).

The True Color Lipsticks have a light scent that reminds me of cherries.  They spread nicely and felt smooth with a comforting feel for about two hours.  Afterwards, the initial moisture seemed to disappear into my lips while the color stayed intact.

I also found two of the True Color Nourishing Lipsticks that have SPF 15 and a deeper moisturizing system due to natural oils and conditioners such as vitamin E and jojoba oil built into the formula.

I received Cherry Blossom (pink-red) and Brown Sugar (rust-brown), but there are eight more shades in the line.  These did keep my lips feeling moisturized longer than the original True Color Lipsticks.  In fact, the more times that I used them, the softer my lips felt.  I also liked the SPF protection in the formula.

You can find both the True Color and True Color Nourishing Lipsticks at Avon’s website.  They retail for $8.00 each.  Check them out!

Rouge Bunny Rouge Silk Aether Long-Lasting Duo Cream Eye Shadows Review + Swatches

two-Silk- Aether-cream-eyeshadow.jpeg
Gossamer Wing is on the left with Birdwing Beauteous on the right.

For the most part, I love pressed powder eyeshadow for two reasons.  They seem to hold up better than creams that can dry out sooner and also because of palettes and all the shades that you can find together.  Nonetheless, I also buy my share of cream eyeshadow despite having a shorter shelf life because of how much I love their unbeatable silky texture that clings to the lids instead of the pigment accidentally falling into my eyes.

Luxury beauty brand, Rouge Bunny Rouge, has their Silk Aether Long-Lasting Duo Cream Eye Shadow ($45.00), which currently is available in two shades.   The duo in Gossamer Wing has pale beige champagne color with a delicate sheen on one end with a cool brown with a finely refined gray metallic sparkle at the other.  This is the one for a fresh, but classy natural look with more satin finish to the radiance it gives the eyes.

swatches-silk aether-eyeshadows.jpeg
Here I swatched both shadows for you with Gossamer Wing on the left and Birdwing Beauteous on the right.

The other shadow in this line is Birdwing Beauteous. This has a side that is champagne touched with apricot color with more of a prominent sheen that is lovely with how it lights up the eyes.  The other end is a silvery blue-black color that smolders with mystery.  I like this one for doing a sexy, night time look.

These shadows have a fluffier cream consistency and feature a doe-foot applicator that spread and blend the product ideally, giving you enough time to work before setting.  They also wear for as long as you need without creasing.

Each of these shades  is unique and will dress up your lids in style.  If you ask me, the hard part will be deciding between the two Silk Aether Long-Lasting Duo Cream Eye Shadow colors to try first.  What are your thoughts on these Rouge Bunny Rouge cream shadows?  Have you tried them yet?  Check them out!

Glo Skin Beauty Contour Kit (Fair to Light) Review + Swatches

contour-kit.jpeg
This is the Fair to Light Contour Kit.

One of my favorite forms of makeup is contouring and highlighting palettes.  With this one product, I can totally change the look of my face through shadows and light by artificially carving out a new bone structure.  The Glo Skin Beauty Contour Kit is an exciting option toward that goal from what I discovered.

This #Contour Kit comes in two shades the fair to light version that I selected and a medium to dark grouping of four mineral powders.  You also get instructions for placement attached inside this $38.00 kit.  The packaging is cardboard with a slip cover and magnetic closure to this slim kit.

swatches-of-contour-kit.jpeg
The highlight shades are on the left, but didn't photograph well with the contour shades on the right.

Inside the Fair to Light Contour Kit, the both contour shades are matte, but one is slightly darker with more bronze brown to it while the other has more pink to the brown.  As far as the highlight shades go, there are two.  The first one is matte and the other shimmering champagne.

These powders are smooth, easy to blend and don’t streak. They did provide enough pigment to keep my makeup natural and stayed true without fading for hours, which is important to me.

If you’re searching for a wonderful Contour Kit that can help keep your shadows and highlighting realistic instead over the top, then you should check out this one from Glo Skin Beauty!

Rouge Bunny Rouge Tinted Lip Balms Review + Swatches

two-tinted-lip-balms.jpeg
On the left is Specks of Cherise with Sip of Pink on the right.

Winter weather can really do a number on the condition of our lips.  As a result, I am never without lipsticks, lip gloss and lip balms.  These are staples to add color as well as keeping my lips from drying out.  However, I had never tried any lip balms from luxury beauty brand, Rouge Bunny Rouge, until two of their Dazzling Sip Tinted Luxe Balms arrived.

swatches- of-two-tinted-lip-balms.jpeg
Here I swatched both lip balms for you with Specks of Cherise (left) and Sip of Pink (right).

The line of three includes Sip of Pink (raspberry pink tone with some warmth to the shade), Specks of Cherise (deeper, but sheer berry-red on the order of crimson-red cherries) and Pinch of Nude (light beige nude with gold).  Each lip balm retails for $31.00.

These lip balms have a lip treatment, color and anti-aging skin care built into the formula. You may think this sounds pretty much what any lip balm promises.  I was of that opinion at first.

Yet, this product has an Ecocert-approved active complex for hydration with sunflower oil among its other oils and waxes that does exceptional restoration for hurting lips while delivering flattering color in a lightweight formula. My lips felt smoothed, comforted and quenched for a longer period while staying beautiful without the feel of any heavy, waxiness to them.

If you’re torn between lipstick to beautify and lip balm for its soothing moisture, then look no more because Rouge Bunny Rouge Tinted Lip Balms solve that problem. Check them out because this lip caring formula makes winter weather bearable again!

Glo Skin Beauty Suede Matte and Creamy Lip Crayons Review + Swatches: The Extra Holiday Glam You May Be Looking for

four suede matte crayons.jpeg
On the left is Crimson, then Monogram, Demure, and ending with Bombshell on the right.

The holidays are a time when you’ll be  visiting friends and family making the rounds to parties and celebrations.  With all that toasting and nibbling ahead, long-lasting lip color that doesn’t require constant touch-ups is especially important.  A suggestion I have for you is Glo Skin Beauty’s Suede Matte and Creamy Glaze Lip Crayons that I got to try.

These mineral-based lip crayons are enriched with vitamins C and E, mango oil and shea butter for keeping lips comfortable.  Besides a beautiful color payoff, these lip products tend to wear like a stain.

The earlier ones came with a sharpener at one end, but no longer do.  You need to use a separate sharpener.

The Suede Matte Crayons consist of seven shades and retail for $18.00 each.  I received the following four: Monogram (medium nude that has equal amount of pink to brown), Bombshell (classy red that is more neutral than swaying toward a blue or orange red), Demure (mauve-pink), and Crimson (red brown with pink).

swatches-of-lip-crayons.jpeg
Going right to left is Demure, Mimosa, Crimson, Praline, Dahila,Bombshell, Bloom, Monogram, and Heirloom .

I thought these matte crayons had a moisturizing feel on the lips and not nearly as dry as other matte formulas can be.  They do sink into the lips after about an hour or so but that luscious velvet color is perfectly intact despite eating or drinking.

The Creamy Glaze Crayons have a shinier, glossy look to them.  Out of the six becoming shades, I was sent five that include: Heirloom (gorgeous mauve-pink), Bloom (lilac-pink), Dahila (medium violet-pink), Mimosa (warm pink with some coral), and Praline (light gold infused brown).

five-creamy-glaze-crayons.jpeg
Starting on the left is Praline, Heirloom, Mimosa, Dahila, and ending with Bloom on the right.

These feel wonderful, stay in place and also manage to remain on the lips after eating and drinking.  You'll appreciate how they manage to keep up with you for hours on end.

Another thing I loved about these lip crayons is how extra convenient their slim size makes them for fitting into a tiny evening bag.  If you haven’t tried Glo Skin Beauty’s Suede Matte or Creamy Glaze Lip Crayons yet, I think that you’ll really like the feel and wear of these.  Check them out!

Au Naturale Cosmetics Let It Snow Eyes That Twinkle Holiday Gift Set Review + Swatches!

Let-It-Snow-Eye-Set.jpeg
Let It Snow Eyes Gift Set has gray, silver, white and a complex taupe that can help eyes shine and sparkle.

Getting down to basics can be a beautiful thing.  If you are determined to find healthier alternatives to chemicals, then Au Naturale Cosmetics takes the guesswork out of what could be in your makeup with their purer mineral formulations like with the Let It Snow Eyes That Twinkle Holiday Eye Gift Set for some sensational holiday glamour.

This gift set is strictly vegan without any animal bi-products and formulated in the United States with no synthetic preservatives, nano particles, gluten, parabens, fillers, dyes or toxins.  The Let It Snow Set has two Cremes de la Cream Shadow sticks in White Quartz and Vintage along with two Super Fine Eye Shadows in Luna and Slate for a soft, but polished sexy look.

two Super Fine eye shadows.jpeg
Luna is the pale pearly, gray silver and Slate is the more intense silver.

The Creme de la Cream Shadow in White Quartz is a glistening white.  The Vintage Cream Shadow is described as pink patina gold, but this is a lovely, complicated taupe underlying with pink, brown, gold, and mossy green within its depths.  These cream shadow sticks glide nicely and blend well.  They do crease after a while alone without a primer, but do hold up longer when topped with the Super Fine Eye Shadow.

swatches-of-Let-It-Snow-eyes-set.jpeg
Starting on the right is White Quartz, Vintage, Luna, and then just a trace of Slate on the left.

The Super Fine Eye Shadows have roller-ball design to disperse the eye shadow powder.  These gleaming shades include Luna, a pearly light gray and a cool metallic, deeper silver with some blue to it called Slate.  Though gorgeous, the roller-ball can be problematic.  Luna rolled out, but Slate refused to budge no matter how many times I rolled.  Eventually, I  removed the roller-ball so I could dip my brush in, which made all the difference.

Au Naturale Cosmetics also has another color option for this eye set called Merry & Bright that has more vibrant gemstone colors.  Super Fine Eye Shadows are as follows with Dark Opal, a dusty pearlescent cranberry rose and Old Flame, a rusty orange with subtle bronze luminosity.  The two Cremes de la Cream Shadow consist of Galaxy, a deep smokey cobalt blue and Bora Bora,  bright aquamarine blue.

Starting on November 15, 2017, Au Naturale’s Let It Snow or the Merry & Bright Eyes Gift Sets ($50.00 with a $78.00 value) will be available at Whole Foods, Amazon or at Au Naturale’s website.  Check it out because these can dress up your eyes in style besides being wonderful to give as a gift.

Rimmel #Insta Conceal & Contour (Light and Medium) Review + Swatches

#Insta Conceal & Contour palettes.jpeg
These palettes run around $6.99 each.

The other day I shared my review of Rimmel #Instant Conceal & Correct that does a  fantastic job for hiding under eye darkness.  Today, I want to give you my thoughts on their #Insta Conceal & Contour Palette. This palette comes in three shades and is meant to conceal, highlight and contour in one product.

I found the formula creamy and easy to blend.  The colors appear darker in the pans, but lighten up when used.  Overall though, I found some problems with this palette.

swatches of #insta contour palette.jpeg
On the left are the three shades of the Medium followed by the three Light shades.

The conceal shade  I tried in the Light palette is the right color for my fair to light complexion. However, it does not provide the depth of heavy duty coverage for disguising under eye darkness like the #Insta Conceal & Contour Palette.   The contour shade is deep enough to contour, but has some orange color to it.  This makes it look more like a bronzer than a natural contour.  The highlight shade is light with a soft gleam to it that worked nicely.

Light #Insta contour palette.jpeg
Here is the Light palette.

The conceal in the Medium palette is too dark.  The contour shade is more brown, which is a good thing for light complexions like mine for tackling this.  The highlight is only a tad darker than the Light palette, but provides a believable glow to the skin.

#Insta contour medium palette.jpeg
These are the shades of the Medium palette.

This formula really adheres to the skin in how deeply these colors stain.  I used two different makeup removers before I could dislodge it.

While I loved the #Insta Conceal & Correct Palette, I cannot say that I feel the same degree of adoration for this product.  Of course, you may feel differently.  Have you tried Rimmel London #Insta Conceal & Contour Palettes yet?

Visit Rimmel London to learn more or find the #Insta Conceal & Contour Palettes at your local drugstore.

Burt’s Bees Mineral Blush Line Review + Swatches

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Burt's-Bees-blushes.jpeg
These shades look extremely natural.  Bare Peach is on the left, Toasted Cinnamon (middle) and Shy Pink on the right.

Now that Burt’s Bees has finally expanded their cruelty-free and natural skin care line into makeup, I am one happy girl.  The other day I told you about their better for your health foundations.  Today, I want to tell you about their new mineral blush line.

Currently, this is only a three-color line with a warm pink (1210 Shy Pink), a vibrant peach (1205 Bare Peach) and a brown-orange (1215 Toasted Cinnamon) at a cost of $10 each.  Like most cosmetics these days, this blush is not sold with any brush.

Burt's-Bees-blush-swatches.jpeg
Here are the shades that I swatched.  Notice Toasted Cinnamon in the middle can double as a bronzer.

The formula is infused with skin boosting ingredients of bamboo, honey and vitamin E to help bring out the most natural glow.  As always, you have no need to fear parabens, phthalates, SLS, petrolatum or synthetic fragrances.

These blushes are lightweight, silky feeling and go on rather sheer, but the glow you get can be easily built up.  For the most part, you would consider the finish matte.  Yet, when you check the blushes deliver a very subtle glow. There are no glitter or sparkles, but I noticed the faintest radiance when examining my face from different angles.

You also don’t have to worry about the colors fading quickly.  I had this blush on from morning until close to dinner time and found the colors stayed true.

This is the second product from the company’s new makeup line that I really like and will buy again.  If you want a blush with safer ingredients that will also appear realistic over a fake, powdery sort of glow, you need to try Burt’s Bees Mineral Blush.  I know that you’ll be pleased!

Burt’s Bees Goodness Glows Full Coverage Liquid Makeup–Buff (1015) and Linen Beige (1030) Review + Swatches!

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Goodeness-Glows-Liquid-Makeups.jpeg
This mineral foundation treats skin with healthy ingredients and excellent coverage.

Natural beauty lovers have reason to rejoice.  After 33 years of helping us steer clear of synthetic and less than safe ingredients in mainly skin and lip care products, Burt’s Bees has expanded into makeup.  Today, I want to fill you in on their Goodness Glows Full Coverage Liquid Makeup that I had a chance to test recently.

foundation-caps.jpeg
These are the two of the lightest of the warm-toned shades.

The line has 12 shades and retails for $17.  The formula is 98.9% natural without parabens, phthalates, SLS, petrolatum or synthetic fragrances that could jeopardize health.  This liquid mineral foundation has wonderful moisturizing ingredients to aid the complexion and help promote luminosity from meadowfoam seed oil, sunflower oil and just to name a few humectants such as  honey, glycerin and squalane.  The product also has a sanitary pump for dispensing the foundation, which cuts down on bacteria and keeps it fresher longer.

foundation-swatches.jpeg
On the left is Linen Beige with Buff closest to my wrist.  Linen Beige is lighter upon blending it out.

The colors I tried were the fairest of the warm shades Buff 1015 and one shade deeper with Linen Beige 1030.  Depending on the brand, I usually range from Fair to Light with warm undertones.  On ULTA’s website, the color descriptions go from fair and jump straight to medium, skipping light, which is not accurate.  Linen Beige is light with warm undertones, (not a medium) as they labeled it.  This color was a close match for me.  Next time, I would like to try the Natural Beige with a tad more pink to it.  On the other hand, the Buff was a bit pale for me.  The only way that I could wear it would be by adding some extra color to my face with a blush.  The shades do run a bit lighter so keep that in mind.

This is full-coverage foundation that blended and smoothed over my dry complexion beautifully.  At the same time, my skin felt soft and pampered and had a radiance that came through to the surface.  In the hours that I wore it, this foundation never caked up in spots or migrated to settle in my laugh lines or produce an excessive shine.  I really thought it was a great foundation for performance, health, and price.

I don’t know how this foundation would be for anyone with an oily complexion.  All I can say is if your skin is normal to dry skin like mine and you are looking for a wonderful new and healthier foundation without overspending, you can’t beat Burt’s Bees Goodness Glows Full Coverage Liquid Makeup.  Look for it at your local drugstore or wherever you buy Burt’s Bees products because you’ll love it!

PUR Cosmetics Soiree Diaries Eyeshadow Palette Review + Swatches

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

soiree diaries eyeshadow palette.jpeg
You can do a lot with these 12 shades.

Neutral makeup shades are the easiest to wear.  They never seem to let you down like bolder colors that can show flaws of aging eyes.  For that reason, I always seem to gravitate toward products that can supply that more natural look. When I spied PUR Cosmetics new Soiree Diaries Eyeshadow Palette, I was already smitten at what I saw.

This palette has 12 creamy shades of vegan, gluten and paraben free eye shadows  that blend like a dream in a section of four mattes, satins and shimmers.  The colors are gorgeous, bursting with pigment and wonderfully long-lasting.
