One of the most important cosmetics in my cosmetic bag happens to be concealer.  In fact, I have all forms from thick sticks in a tube, heavier cream versions, thinner consistencies to apply with a wand, pots of medium consistency to brush or finger on and pencils to tackle different problems on my face.  If this scares you, then it should because finding a perfect concealer for your individual needs often can be daunting unless you run into great products and master the art of concealment.  Those two variables are critical together because without either, disappointment and a hefty collection of concealers is what you'll end up with.

An excellent place to start is with what I received from Judith August Cosmetics for this review.  Everything Pencils for face and body conceal dark under eye circles, broken capillaries, bruises, birthmarks, and age spots.  These handy pencils are creamy but miraculously cover and seem to last for hours without disappearing or settling into creases.

The EraseZit Antiseptic Concealer Pencil is what everyone needs when dealing with pimples, acne scars and any red irritations to hide and heal, but not get infected due to applying the product.  I don't know about you but I am guilty of dabbing ordinary concealer on a zit only to make matters worse.  This can save you from really making the situation ugly thanks to Tea Tree oil, camphor, aloe vera,  and vitamin E for a less intrusive way to dry them up.

In addition, the helpful book three of you can win,  Gotcha Covered, The Compact Guide to Camouflage Makeup by Judith August with Susan Haller, shows you insider beauty secrets and techniques that give you better results.

Camouflage Makeup Book

You will be surprised at what valuable lessons await in this book.  One interesting tip is reconsidering the colors you usually buy for concealing.  Dark allergic shiners look less noticeable if you pick up a concealer with pink or pinky beige tones.  A pink related choice will brighten the darkness better.  This is just one example.

Depending on your problem and its severity, you will find the right concealer, tool, and technique to keep it hidden from the world.  Solutions devised at home to improve the look of eye wrinkles or aid with irritated allergy eyes are also in this book.   I could go on, but I will stop here because this is a thorough work on the subject.

I really do like these Judith August Cosmetics concealing products I have tried and am impressed with all the information compacted into this book that I was not aware of before.  If you have problems to conceal, I definitely encourage you to check her products and you may save yourself frustration, money, and building a collection of concealers!

Thanks to Judith August Cosmetics, three lucky Nuts 4 Stuff readers in the United States or Canada win a copy of Gotcha Covered! The Compact Guide to Camouflage Makeup and an EraseZit Concealer Pencil ($41 value for each)!

Most of us have little imperfections we would like to hide.  So when I had the opportunity to try out two types of concealer pencils from Judith August Cosmetics, I was eager to see how these would perform on my own flaws.

The first one I worked with was their best-selling face and body concealer, The Everything Pencil in Pure Beige (light to medium).  Usually buying a thick pencil means you need to dish out more money for a special sharpener.  However, this pencil comes with a free sharpener, which was nice.

As to the product itself, I found it was easy to apply with wonderful coverage as a result of the aloe vera and vitamin E in the formula without tugging on that delicate under eye area.   You can also use the pencil to banish scars, age spots, birthmarks or bruises with confidence that they'll stay hidden.  This pencil comes in five other shades to handle all complexions and sells for $16.00.

Another wonderful way to hide a blemish and heal it at the same time was with the Judith August Cosmetics EraseZit Pencil.  This is an amazing antiseptic concealer and corrector product in one, which treats with tea tree oil and camphor.  This pencil comes in two shade varieties--Neutral (Original) for light medium to medium dark complexion (that I picked) and their new Neutral Light for light to light medium.  Both varieties also come with a sharpener and also retail for $16.00.

I didn't have a blemish for this review, but I think having a product with the ability to protect you from a possible infection from dabbing the product on a pimple is something to consider.  I used to always break out with a giant zit on my nose every time I was about to go on an important job interview.  This pencil would have been a better alternative to the infected aftermath of my work trying to hide that embarrassing problem perched at the tip of my nose as I sat across from the potential employer.

If you're one of the lucky beautiful people, do ignore products such as these.  However, if you're like me and the majority of the world, then do visit Judith August Cosmetics and check these pencils out because they have my vote of confidence.

Thanks to Judith August Cosmetics, two lucky Nuts 4 Stuff readers in the United States or Canada wins both The Everything Pencil and the EraseZit Pencil ($32 value)!

Judith August Cosmetics Killer Cover Total Blockout Makeup Review

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Judith August Cosmetics Killer Cover Total Blockout Makeup.jpeg
Judith August Cosmetics Killer Cover Total Blockout Makeup
I've been hearing a lot of buzz lately about Judith August Cosmetics and their fabulous award-winning concealers and concealer makeup products.  Recently I had the opportunity to review the Killer Cover Total Blockout Makeup and was excited with the results that I want to share with you here.

These products were carefully developed after working with dermatologists, skin care professionals, and plastic surgeons to formulate the best possible coverage for a variety of difficult to cover problems such as age spots, birthmarks, bruises, port wine stains, scars, spider and veins, broken capillaries, tattoos, vitiligo, and post-surgical discolorations from anything from face and eye lifts to rhinoplasties.

As you can see from the picture, this Killer Cover Total Blockout Makeup comes in a five- shade color wheel compact of waterproof and sweat-proof creams that can perfectly match any skin tone.  This product also had a sponge and a spatula for mixing so you blend colors easily to suit your needs.

I have an ugly scar on my knee from a bad cut that even shows when wearing stockings.  I tried normal concealers and they never lasted or hid it as I wanted.  However, I found the Killer Cover did an excellent job  to camouflage it from sight.  By the time I was through stippling it into the scar, it practically looked like it was never there.  I was greatly impressed for that unbelievable way it erased that scar from view, but also how long it lasted through an entire day and stuck to my knee and not my stocking.

I also wanted to see how this product worked as under eye concealer.  You need to use a moisturizer or an eye cream to mix with it first for it to spread the way you need it to.  Otherwise, this product can be too dry for spreading.  But I must tell you how beautifully it banished even the darkest under eye rings that I had while staying put the entire day.  This stuff didn't smudge off or settle into my fine creases either.

Seriously, I was highly impressed with Killer Cover Total Blockout Makeup for performance without that heavy theatrical look some similar products may leave you with.  I really do recommend checking out Judith August Cosmetics and this true wonder of a product!
