What Could Be More Romantic than L’Occitane en Provence’s Pivoine Flora Collection This Valentine’s Day! (Review)

Though an inanimate object, a fragrance can say so much.  Just like people, there are bold scents that can be daring, perhaps, a bit loud while others are strong enough to shout.  Others can be joyous and so full of bright energy that you can almost feel that burst of happiness. Still, others are so beautiful in the aura of glamour or confidence they radiate that you can’t help but admire them.  If any can initiate romance and set a mood, it is through L’Occitane en Provence’s captivating Pivoine Flora Collection for some Valentine’s Day magic.

The ideal way to begin is by lavishing all over first with some luxurious, but light Pivoine Flora Beauty Cream ($38) before you dress for that perfect evening. The alluring scent of peonies on your silky smooth skin entices enough to set the stage to bewitch your Valentine, who will have a hard time from wanting to caress your perfumed skin.

Since I think you would want to guarantee you’re the only one Valentine would see, I think the Pivoine Shimmering Oil ($36) is well called for.  This fragrant floral oil with a bit of shimmer is just what you need in a few appropriate spots like bare shoulders or cleavage to keep your love’s eyes riveted.  Do I need to say more?

Next, I would reach for my Pivoine Flora Eau de Parfum ($62) because this heady floral is the elixir of the initial products that will reel that Valentine in, but good.  With top notes of grapefruit, bergamot against green notes, the fragrance is fresh and yet bright like excited anticipation. The heart unfolds with an avalanche of peonies not to be undone by the sheer beauty of magnolia and violet.  Yet the base notes of luscious vanilla, earthy musk and haunting cedar are what ignites the mix into the perfect blend of femininity and seductress that will work for you every time.

In keeping that romantic mood going, I recommend lighting a Pivoine Flora Romantic Candle ($35) to set the tone of the evening.  The sweet aroma of the peony blossoms in the air is so beautifully intoxicating that it will drive your Valentine crazy with the need to pull you closer just to get more of that captivating scent for one promising night.

Blood Pressure Monitor Review--The Cor 3 From Vanity Planet

Blood pressure is something you may not think about since many of its symptoms can often mimic other common ailments like headaches, fatigue, dizziness, nosebleeds or a flushed face. You may also be under the false impression that it does not happen to the young but older people.  If so, then you are treading on dangerous ground because you may be putting yourself unnecessarily at risk.

To determine blood pressure, you need to take two different measurements when you sit or lie relaxed for five minutes.  The first is the systolic number (the pressure in the arteries when the heart beats), being the top and largest number over the diastolic number (the pressure of the heart during rest as it refills with blood), which is at the bottom.

Normal blood pressure is 120/80 mm Hg, but it can fluctuate quickly.  Therefore, you could get several different readings in a span of a short time.

Nonetheless, if you get a systolic reading of 140 or above or diastolic 90 or above, you need to pay attention to what it is telling you.  This does not mean panic, but the best way to know for sure is if you continue getting that same reading.

To do this at home, a good way to monitor yourself is with a home blood pressure monitor like the one I received from Vanity Planet.  The model that I selected was their Cor 3, which is a wonderful thing to have to keep healthy.

The Cor 3 is an electronic blood pressure monitoring device that operates on 4-AAA batteries with an extra-large LCD display for easy viewing and an ergonomic arm cuff that auto-inflates.  This handy machine measures both systolic and diastolic pressures, besides also letting you to keep track of your pulse, and even has an irregular heartbeat detector for catching pulse irregularities.  Furthermore, it can store up to 60 readings with a date and time for an accurate record of your testing.

The health of a heart is an important thing.  Though not the most romantic or typical type of Valentine’s Day gifts, a home blood pressure monitor such as the Cor 3 ($99) is a genuine way to express that love.  Visit Vanity Planet and check out this monitor as well as their other selection of products.

Dreamy Pink Frosting Moisturizing Body Wash, Lotion and Fragrance with pouf

Why not treat that special lady with something even sweeter than the same old standby of chocolates for Valentine's Day? My recommendation, guys, is to show her what a delicious temptation you think she is. The best way to accomplish that is to give her Vitabath's Dreamy Pink Frosting Moisturizing Body Wash, Hydrating Lotion, and Refreshing Fragrance Mist this year because neither of you will be able to resist those sweet cravings!

This fragrance trio from Vitabath is the perfect delicious choice.  With the Dreamy Pink Frosting Moisturizing Body Wash, she will love bathing herself with suds that have a yummy aroma of cupcakes.  It will also thrill her knowing how you took extra time to make sure she was nourishing her skin at the same time without any propylene glycol, DEA, TEA, triclosan, silicone, and mineral oils.

The Dreamy Pink Frosting Hydrating Lotion is everything a woman could want for softening her skin with that fragrant bakery essence while moisturizing with aloe vera, safflower and olive oils.  Just as sweet is that no parabens, propylene glycol, phthalates, sulfates, mineral oil, or synthetic color is in this formula to take away from her pleasure.

Satisfying her sweet tooth longer couldn't be easier once she experiences the Dreamy Pink Frosting Refreshing Fragrance Mist after her bath.  As she sprays herself with that tempting fragrance, she also will be conditioning her skin with vitamins and antioxidants to pamper every inch of her.

Do show her some love with Vitabath Dreamy Pink Frosting collection!  In fact, you can get a 15% off your order at Vitabath's website if you include VALENTINE15 coupon code at checkout.  Online orders had to be placed by February 3 to guarantee Valentine's Day delivery.  Other buying options include Kmart, Ulta Beauty, Shoppers Drug Mart, Lawtons Drugs, and Stage Stores.
