Doll 10 CC Powder

To look truly incredible, I think people shouldn’t notice your makeup.  Instead, what I hope they see is how fantastic and vibrant your skin looks.  If you also love the look of an absolutely luminous complexion as much as I do, then let me tell you about Doll 10's CC Powder because it delivers that perfect finish to bring out the best in your skin.

From the outside, the black and cream compact is simple, but stylish and sturdy.  Inside, the multi-functional powder appears a light beige speckled with lavender pigment (for brightening), green (for counteracting redness) and peach (for adding warmth).  It comes in one universal shade intended for all skin tones.

Look at the flecks of color inside the Doll 10 CC Powder.

This silky powder can be used alone for an ultra sheer finish, if you just want to even out a nice skin tone while adding some brightness to it.  For more coverage, I thought it was wonderful to sweep on especially after a foundation or tinted moisturizer for the ultimate vision of translucent, glowing beauty.  This product did an exceptional job of improving tone and hiding pores, but also polishing the skin’s natural beauty with more of a brighter radiance than color.

Though I have dry skin, I can also tell you that this powder adheres to skin like it was always a part of it due to Dr. Doris Dalton’s amazing science in this line.  There is no powdery look involved or fear of it accentuating drier spots where skin might be peeling.

I also liked that this powder kept my makeup gorgeous and  in place for hours without needing a touch up.  I can’t predict how long this formula will last for those with oily complexions because it could change from what I experienced, wearing it for the majority of the day to a shorter time before you would want to powder up again.  I just know that I love Doll 10 Beauty’s CC Powder ($30)  for what it did for me.

IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Pressed Finishing Powder

With my love affair of Bye Bye Pores Loose Finishing Powder from IT Cosmetics, I was thrilled when I heard they developed a pressed form of that fabulous, award-winning product because it does give a sensational finish for minimizing pores and setting makeup.  Pressed form meant that I could better stash it in my handbag for touch ups!

When I was sent this new pressed form, I also received their Heavenly Luxe Wand Ball Powder Brush, which I have used before and adore for powder application.  What I found once I tried this airbrush silk pressed anti-aging finishing powder didn’t disappoint me.

IT Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe Wand Ball Powder Brush works great with this powder for the gorgeous look that you're after.

The consistency of this translucent powder is silky with just a slight touch of beige tint to it.  Just like the original, it features IT Cosmetics marvelous anti-aging ingredients like peptides, collagen, silk, and antioxidants in this formula.

This pressed powder does come with a sponge, but I recommend brushing with your powder brush instead for the perfect finish.  For me, the sponge made the powder cake in a few spots so I will also pack my Heavenly Luxe Wand Ball Powder Brush inside the plastic cylinder it arrived in just for that purpose.

I still prefer starting my day with the loose version and touching up later with the pressed form.  However, I plan on keeping both always stocked in my makeup bag.

Bye Bye Pores Pressed Finishing Powder is available at IT Cosmetics, QVC or ULTA so do look into it because you’ll appreciate what it can do for your complexion!
