Roux Beauty Anti-Aging Hair Collection

Aging is not kind to skin, but it also makes hair suffer as well.  The color fades and gray hairs multiply with every new birthday.  Unfortunately, thinning, breakage, and dryness also occur more frequently because of it.  Though as depressing as this all sounds, I have been testing some wonderful products from Roux Beauty with their new Anti-Aging Hair Care Collection that can help revitalize older hair again.

The collection includes ten products specifically created to combat those various aging hair problems.

*Roux Anti-Aging Keratin Repair Shampoo and Conditioner (for strengthening weak hair with biotin, keratin amino acids, vitamins, UV filters, panthenol, and rosemary leaf extract)

*Roux Anti-Aging Color Protect Shampoo and Conditioner (nutrient-rich formula to moisture and lock in color)

*Roux Anti-Aging Hair Serum (a leave-in treatment with keratin amino acids and biotin to end breakage, dullness, and build up volume)

*Roux Anti-Aging Porosity Control Corrector & Conditioner (damaged fragile hair drinks this up to return it to a healthy state)

*Roux 619 Anti-Aging Extra Moisture Leave-in Treatment (intense conditioning with panthenol, vitamins and biotin)

*Roux 233 Anti-Aging Extra Repair Leave-in Treatment (a rejuvenating conditioner for color treated, bleached or double-processed hair with keratin and vitamins to strengthen and repair even split ends)

*Roux 07 Anti-Aging Extra Volume Leave-in Treatment (a bodybuilding conditioner with collagen and vitamins for thickening )

*Roux Anti-Aging Hair & Scalp Rehab Leave-in Treatment (a conditioner with biotin and vitamins  for to encourage the look of more hair and stimulating growth)

Since it was nearly time for me to color my hair again, I started with the Keratin Repair Shampoo and Conditioner ($10.49).  This protein-building pair did soften my somewhat brittle hair and add more manageability.

Next, I went with the Porosity Control Corrector & Conditioner ($10.99) to deeply condition before I colored my hair.   I can't pinpoint how much stronger it was, but it did chase away dullness and perk it up.

After I colored my hair, I soon tried the Color Protect Shampoo and Conditioner ($10.49).  My hair was already shiny so I can't say how much better it looked or felt with this duo.  I did see about the same amount of color rinse out as I experience with other color-safe shampoos and conditioners.

I followed with a few pumps to my towel-dried hair of the leave in Hair Serum ($11.99) to bolster strength and volume.

For weekly maintenance, the four leave-in treatments ($9.29) are ideal to keep the hair healthy.  There is a formula to handle whatever your hair needs.  All required is shaking of one of the three ampoules before applying to activate its benefits.

Though you can't completely stop hair aging, this new line of Roux Beauty Anti-Aging Hair Care can at least make the damage look less obvious.

These products are available at Sally Beauty.  Learn more about them at Roux Beauty.

In fact, I have a great deal to pass on, but you must HURRY.  Buy any of those products at Sally Beauty during March and receive one box  of three Roux Anti-Aging Leave-in Treatments in your choice of formula.

#FREEBIE With Purchase--Big G Monster Cereals at Target for a Limited Period (#MyBlogSpark Review)

Big G Monster Cereals

To get in the mood for Halloween, you need to head over to Target and check out the Big G Monster Cereals while they are available.  You might remember Count Chocula, Franken Berry, and Boo Berry and how awesome those cereal nuggets and little flavored marshmallows tasted especially at this time of year when you were growing up.  This year General Mills is adding two new temptations with Frute Brute and Fruity Yummy Mummy to their Monster Cereal line as well.

To jot your memory somewhat, I made a list of those sweet but spooky cereals that you will want to pick up.

Count Chocula is the chocolate cereal with chocolate marshmallows.

Boo-Berry has berry flavored cereal with marshmallow bits.

Frankenberry is the strawberry one with strawberry marshmallows.

Frute Brute has cherry cereal to the marshmallows.

Fruity Yummy Mummy is orange cereal with marshmallows.

Now that I turned back the clock and got your taste buds going, I have a fun freebie to share.  If you buy three boxes of General Mills Monster Cereals at Target in a single shopping trip between now and October 31, 2013, you will also get a free Monster Bash Magazine, which is full of great Halloween recipes, tips, and tricks.

Now doesn't that sound like a fun and yummy deal?  But this offer won't last long so you need to get shopping at Target for those Big G Monster Cereals!

Free Tax Filing Software!

Want to use tax software from H & R Block or Turbotax for free?  And these are not your only choices of FREE programs.  Depending on your income or age, there are many free programs you can use through the IRS's Free File program.

This program allows qualified users with an adjusted gross income of $57,000 or less to use commercial software products to file taxes online OR print out their tax return and mail it in.  The income and other qualifications vary for each free file provider.

And the IRS also offers e-file with fill-able forms that are available to almost EVERYONE.  Now, of course, there are some instances where you can't submit a return electronically.  But for most of us this is a great and FREE option.

Use this link to find the best free file company for you.

And some lucky folks can EVEN use these programs to do their state income taxes as well for FREE too!
