Three Keune Damaged Hair Solutions–New Care Vital Nutrition Protein Spray, Porosity Filler and Thermal Cream

trio-of-care-vital- nutrition-hair-products.jpeg
If you haven't had luck with repairing your damaged, weak hair, this new Keune trio may be just what you need.

Healthy, strong hair is what we all strive for.  Unfortunately, this is not always the case as many of us know.  What we do to beautify it with strong chemical processes like hair coloring, perms, straightening to styling tools can also weaken and damage it. The good news is I tried three recently released salon hair products from Keune Haircosmetics Care Vital Nutrition line with their Protein Spray, Porosity Filler and Thermal Cream that are amazing to revitalize texture and shine while strengthening due to their patented Essential Mineral Complex of zinc, copper, silicum, iron, and magnesium.

The first one you need to be aware of is Keune Care Vital Nutrition Protein Spray ($31.00) that is intended to use before, during or after hair coloring or any texturizing treatment.  This product arrived at exactly the right time.  My hair was suffering and ready for fresh hair color, but I needed some serious conditioning first.

After shampooing and using an instant conditioner, I gave my hair a few, short blasts of this spray.  I dried and styled as usual, finding it somewhat softer with more shine.  However, the next time I washed and dried again, I skipped the spray.   Believe it or not, the product had to penetrate deeply into the hair because once I finished styling it felt softer to the touch, even without any more help from that spray.  This product is fantastic to keep on your vanity when your hair gets to the ugly, hard stage when you don’t have time to deep condition, but need more than a shine spray can provide with texture repair.

I don’t know if regular hair coloring or diet is why I seem to find my hair all over, but I do shed. Inside this box that arrived, I found Keune’s new Vital Nutrition Porosity Filler ($34.00).  This product is enriched with ceramide and wheat proteins to boost hair strength through a special nutri-injection technology that is formulated to create a protective shield around the damage as it repairs and adds moisture to the hair.

Ceramides are found inside the hair cuticle, a lipid, acting to lock the hair in place.  Aging decreases the body’s natural ceramide production, which can result in hair loss and dry, damaged hair.  The formula works because it supplements that insufficient ceramide along with wheat proteins to alter the structure of the hair for the better.

This product is in between a gel and a cream that can be used on damp or dry hair.  I tried after shampooing working in three drops (you don’t need much) before blow-drying and styling.  So far, I didn’t shed nearly as much.  Also, this does make the hair quite glossy.  I will keep using it.

Keune Care Vital Nutrition Thermal Cream ($30.00) was another new fall launch.  This is protective cream that also has their nutri-injection technology to shield damaged hair from any further abuse from intense heat while styling as it repairs.  This product is awesome for repairing while protecting vulnerable hair for the kind of finish to your hair that you’ll be proud of.

If you have damaged, weak hair and tried your share of products that didn’t do much, I suggest trying the Keune Care Vital Nutrition Protein Spray, Porosity Filler and Thermal Cream to see the difference.  You can only find these hair care products at your salon or visit Keune’s Haircosmetics website to find a salon location near you.

Mineral Fusion Dry Shampoo Review

Mineral Fusion Dry Shampoos

Nothing beats washing your hair the old-fashioned way with shampoo and water for that ultimate clean feeling.  However, life is unpredictable.  For those occasions when you can’t get your head to a sink because of illness or a busy schedule, a dry shampoo like the new ones from vegan brand, Mineral Fusion can really come in handy.

Their new line that PR sent are available for medium to dark hair like mine with a tint to it and a light shade formula for $12.99.  Like all Mineral Fusion products, you have no need to fear sulfates, glutens or parabens in these dry shampoos.

What you can expect is a weightless powder that you spray from an aerosol-free pump that comes out as a fine, tinted mist.  How it cleans is unique with kaolin clay for dealing with oil and vegetarian keratin, olive and lavender for shine and fluffing it back with volume.

After targeting my roots with the spray and working this dry shampoo through my hair with my hands, I was surprised at how well it freshened up my hair.  My advice is to check Mineral Fusion Dry Shampoo out at their website or Whole Foods.

Review: DESSANGE Paris Purifying Clay Collection for Normalizing Oily Hair

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**
DESSANGE Paris Purifying Clay Collection.jpeg
DESSANGE Paris Purifying Clay Collection

When DESSANGE Paris offered to send me some of their hair products, I had no clue about what to expect. However, I got the new Purifying Clay Collection to help combat oily scalps that recently found its way to Target stores this Fall, 2015.

Since I have exactly the opposite with dry hair, I drafted my guy as the test subject because these products would be more appropriate for him.  Before he stepped into the shower, I asked him to try the first step in this new 30% green mineral clay-based system–-the DESSANGE Paris Purifying Clay Pre-Shampoo Mask ($11.99) on his dry hair. This product is meant to be used weekly to absorb the excess sebum and scalp toxins so hair can better thrive and be normalized.  First, he had to keep this mask on for about ten minutes before he could rinse it out in the shower.

He thought he was finished until I handed his the second DESSANGE Paris bottle–-the Purifying Clay Balancing Shampoo ($9.99) to follow up with.  The poor guy looked confused, but I patted him on the back and explained.  The first jar was to use weekly to lessen the oil and toxin buildup and the second jar was the shampoo that completes the rebalancing process with natural green clay to purify hair at the root as it conditions and smooths with pro-vitamin B5 and rich fruit oils among its ingredients to help improve the ends as well.

He liked the subtle cherry-vanilla scent because it wasn’t overpowering with fragrance was the first thing I got out of him.  After he finished drying his hair, he seemed quite pleased with his appearance since his hair was easy to manage and had a healthy gloss to it.

The real test was to see what he thought later.  With his oily scalp, he never could skip shampooing his hair every night.  Yet, once he reported home after work, his hair still looked and felt nice, which pleasantly surprised both of us. He liked that he finally found a great shampoo that can help him control his problem. Now my guy needs something to help combat his facial shine!

If you also suffer from too oily of a scalp and want to try a great system, my guy recommends the Purifying Clay Collection from DESSANGE PARIS since it helped him. This new hair care line is available at Target or on Target.com so look for it.

Discover the Amazing Difference That Reshma Beauty Henna Offers Over Traditional Hair Color

Disclaimer:  This is a sponsored post for Reshma Beauty.
Reshma Beauty logo.jpeg
Reshma

When I was approached by Reshma Beauty to try their henna, I had to decline since I just had my hair colored. However, the more I learn about Reshma Beauty and the advantages of using their henna compared to permanent hair color with all its potential health risks due to some of the chemical ingredients, I am seriously wondering why I never gave it a chance.

Maybe it is because I was always under the assumption henna would make for red hair.  The real truth is henna can be available in different colors after its leaves are ground into a powder to make this natural conditioning hair coloring that is also free of ammonia or peroxide.

Reshma Beauty has seven semi-permanent shades in their 30 Minute Henna from Burgundy, Chestnut, Light Brown, Dark Chocolate, Midnight Blue, Wine Red to a Natural Black or six in their Classic henna formulations.  Those with light hair can expect a brighter, more flamboyant color result.  On the other hand, those with darker hair will notice a more subtle look with softer, rich multi tones of color emerging.

Though you can achieve great color as well as add highlights to your hair, Reshma Beauty’s henna has superior conditioning power compared to regular hair coloring with how it coats the hair shaft.  The result is stronger, glossier, better moisturized hair. If this is not enough to look forward to, then it is also said to help with hair growth and with controlling dandruff.  Your hair will also feel thicker and gain volume from the process.

This argument should be convincing enough, but what if I told you Reshma Beauty’s henna was awarded “Best New Product” at ECTM, Efficient Collaborative Retail Marketing?

The confusing part now is deciding which Reshma Beauty Henna formulation to choose?  The Classic Henna involves mixing and adjusting the hue of the paste before allowing it to rest for anywhere from 30 minutes to two hours and more time (wearing it for one to three hours) before you can finally finish.  Those without time to spare would probably prefer the 30 Minutes Reshma Henna, which just requires adding water to mix the hair paste before applying and leaving on for a complete half hour for the color to set before rinsing out with cool to lukewarm water.  Hot water will strip the color in the same way as it does with regular hair color so be careful when you turn on the faucet.

Unlike using a permanent hair color, you don’t have as many weeks to wait until it is safe to refresh your hair color.  You can boost the color and benefit from its conditioning every two to four weeks without encountering the same type of problems of what possible dangerous toxic chemical could seep through your scalp.

Therefore, if you are tired of trusting your hair and possible health to just anything and do want a safer alternative to hair coloring, Reshma Beauty Henna formulations can be the natural solution that you could be looking for.

Find Reshma Beauty henna on Amazon  or Sally Beauty.  Connect also with Reshma Beauty on FacebookTwitter or Instagram.

Discover Color-Treated Hair That Looks Like Virgin Hair With Keracolor Clenditioner and Purify Plus Leave-in ConditioningTreatment (Review)!

Keracolor Purify Plus Leave-in Treatment and Clenditione.jpeg
Keracolor Purify Plus Leave-in Conditioning Treatment and Clenditioner

Anyone that is looking for noticeably softer, silkier, and overall healthier hair needs to read this review because I am the proud owner of a beautiful mane thanks to two new products from a company called Keracolor.  With all the hair products on the market, I am thrilled I had the chance to try their Clenditioner and Purify Plus Leave-in ConditioningTreatment after they reached out with an invitation to review their products.

I had my hair freshly colored about two weeks ago.  Anyone that colors their hair knows how vibrant and softer the hair becomes afterwards.  I had thought what I was seeing in the mirror was as pretty as it can be. Then I tried the Keracolor Clenditioner, which is a conditioning cleanser, specifically designed for color-treated hair.  This product deeply cleans and conditions the hair without stripping the color while targeting minerals from soaps likes sulfates and chlorine to other deposits left behind from the water that may remain in your hair and neutralizes them.

Unlike regular shampoo, the Clenditioner ($20) that arrived for my hair type, will not produce foamy lather but a creamy, pleasant-smelling wash with sort of a fruity-floral aroma.  I used a few pumps, probably more than I actually needed before I discovered it would not foam.  The next time I will use less of the Clenditioner now that I know what to expect.

I left the Clenditioner on for about two minutes, but the directions state a minute, before rinsing and following with the Purify Plus Leave-in Conditioning Treatment ($20).  I gave my hair about three sprays before taking my hair dryer and partially drying before applying my styling products.

When I finished blow-drying my hair, I was really stunned at how unbelievably soft but beautifully manageable my hair was.  At the same time, it glistened more than ever and picked up some sensational highlights.  If ever my hair looked younger, these products were responsible for turning back the clock to the time of healthy, pre-colored hair.

I tried lots of hair conditioners, which increased manageability and shine to reverse damage.  However, I never experienced one that had so much impact to make the hair so much healthier looking that what’s on your head looks and feels the way it did when you were younger.

Everyone should try Keracolor Clenditioner and Purify Plus Leave-in Conditioning Treatment and remove all the accumulated deposits of minerals and chlorine from your hair because what follows afterwards will thrill you beyond words!

Are You Longing for Better Hair? Then Be More Savvy When It Comes to Shampoo Ingredients as Well as Your Technique!

There are many reasons you may have dull, lifeless hair from diet, health, weather to the shampoos you use.  Some of those factors are harder to control, but shampoo and how you wash your hair can make all the difference.

The kindest thing you can do for your hair is to read shampoo labels and check the ingredients.  Products that have sodium laureth sulfate or sodium lauryl ether sulfate (SLES) in the list are harsher ingredients since they can strip the hair of its oils unlike a gentler sulfate-free formula. You may be shocked but sodium laureth sulfate or sodum lauryl ether sulfate (SLES) that you may have been washing your hair with are typical ingredients in dish detergents as well!

Believe it or not, how you wash your hair can also affect how shiny and healthy it may appear.  Instead of vigorously scrubbing the hair from roots to the ends, you should concentrate lathering only the roots, the area where the natural oils accumulate.

The hair from the midshaft to the ends tends to be drier.  Therefore, overworking that section of hair only adds brittleness.  Focusing more attention shampooing the roots won’t leave those midshaft to end hairs unwashed since shampoo does reach them, only more indirectly once you rinse.  According to one hair stylist, this is more that sufficient to clean the hair.

Another hair stylist I interviewed told me women over shampoo.  He recommends washing the hair two to three times a week and no more.  Every day shampooing can damage and turn the hair dry and coarse.  If you feel your hair is dirty, he suggested a dry shampoo in between shampoos. You may also want to try sprinkling on some baby powder or cornstarch, which also can substitute as a wonderful dry shampoo.

Review: Baby Mantra Detangling Conditioner

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Allergies run rampant in our family.  Therefore, I was more than curious how Baby Mantra’s Detangling Conditioner, being a NPA (Natural Certified Product) by the Natural Products Association, would be tolerated on a squirmy little girl with long hair that is constantly tangled and prone to knots.

For someone that never sits still when trying to get a comb through her thick jungle of curls, she didn't fight when I followed her shampoo with this gentle formulation with coconut and lavender oil that is allergy-tested as well as toxin and dye-free.

Baby Mantra Detangling Conditioner ($11.95) seemed to please the both of us.  Check it out!

My Hair LOVES Maple Holistics Argan Special Formula Shampoo! (Review)

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Maple Holistics Argan Special Formula Shampoo.jpeg
Maple Holistics Argan Special Formula Shampoo

I'll be honest with you.  I never heard of Maple Holistics until a rep from this company reached out to see if I would be interested in trying any of their products.  Being curious, I went to their website and did some research before settling on their Argan Special Formula Shampoo to review.

Their 100% natural, homeopathic solution for dry, damaged hair uses Moroccan argan oil, jojoba, peach kernel, almond, camellia seed, and avocado plus botanical keratin to drive it into one of the BEST shampoos that I have ever used for the incredible amount of blinding shine and softness with unbelievable manageability that later followed.

Another reason to love it is this delectable honey-scented shampoo has almost a creamy, lotion-like consistency instead of pouring out a thin liquid. Still, there is more to appreciate such as how only a little of this thick shampoo worked to produce rich, foaming lather.

I recommend squeezing out a small amount in one palm before rubbing your hands together to apply to your wet head.  Trust me, you also will save money and still have beautiful hair since an eight-oz. bottle will definitely last you longer than most.

You can buy Maple Holistics Argan Special Formula Shampoo on Amazon.com.  The price originally was $29.99, but it is on SALE for $10.77!  You might guess who is going to get some.  If I were you, I would hurry over before the company depletes their supply.

Review: Just Natural Organic Skin and Hair Care Products

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Just Natural Organic Skin and Hair Care Products.jpeg
Just Natural Organic Skin and Hair Care Products

The more nutritious your diet, the better your chances of staying well.  The same principle applies to your complexion. Feeding your skin in the same fashion as you do your body with natural organic ingredients to nourish it instead of a chemical cocktail can help a complexion thrive as well since you are giving it the elements it needs to stay healthy.

Just Natural Organic Products has the same philosophy in the pure products that they produce with no GMO’s, parabens, or sulfates.  Everything is made fresh in small batches here in the United States.  The company sent me several of their skin and hair care to see what I thought.

The Anti-Aging Day Facial Cream ($49.99) was the first product I experimented with.  This is a wonderful, lightweight anti-aging moisturizer that includes sea buckthorn, rosehip oil, borage, camellia seed oils, as well as aloe vera to intensely moisturize and rejuvenate skin.  I used this regularly in the mornings after I washed to start my day.

This day cream felt comfortable, didn’t make me greasy, and allowed my skin to breathe instead of weighing it down with heavier, pore-clogging ingredients.  It gave me a petal soft complexion and did seem to lessen some finer creases over time.

The second product that I want to tell you about is their Anti-Aging Renewal Serum ($37.99), which is packed with beneficial natural anti-oxidants and other soothing, restorative oils from ingredients such as jojoba, sea buckthorn, macadamia oil, hazelnut oil, squalene, and carrot oil.

Just Natural Anti-Aging Renewal Serum.jpeg
Just Natural Anti-Aging Renewal Serum

Immediately, I did notice my complexion took on more of a peachy, healthier color after I started applying two drops after cleansing each night for nearly three weeks now.  I liked that this oil did not sit on top of the skin, but absorbed somewhat as it went to work.  This concentrated serum left my skin extremely soft and wonderfully hydrated.  The best part was how it kept brightening my skin tone.

I also received a bar of their handmade Paradise Soap ($11.99).  This lathers up beautifully with somewhat of a citrus scent and gently replenishes skin with plant oils and butters like macadamia and coconut oils, tacuma butter and guava leaf extract for its healing benefits. You might even want to skip following up with your body lotion after bathing with this soap.

To see how their hair line worked, I requested their Extreme Dry Hair Shea Butter ($28.99). This product is rich in nuts butters and plant oils to rectify suffering hair and bring it back to life.  With my medium length of hair, I only needed to use a small amount (nickle size) of this leave in conditioner.  After I styled, I was greeted to hair that was softer, shinier, and more manageable without bogging my hair down.

I really liked this sampling of organic products for the beauty it brought out in my skin and hair.  In fact, I was so taken with these that I plan on trying more in the future.

Anyone looking for a more holistic, natural approach to skin and hair care should visit Just Natural Skin and Hair Care Products and try some, too!

Now There’s No Excuse for Bad Hair! --Chroma Studio Hair Products Collection Has Arrived (Review)

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Chrome Studio Hair Products
Chrome Studio Hair Products.

Great hair and good looks are a winning combination.  You can’t have one without the other unless you know where to turn. If you want fabulous hair that looks like you just stepped out of a salon, then you need professional products like the collection that I have been using lately from Chroma Studio.

With the great results this stylist had beautifying clients in Hollywood, California, a collection was in order to make those salon treatments available for the rest of us. The line intended to correct dehydrated, brittle hair consists of seven color-safe products: Aqua Shampoo ($25), Aqua Conditioner ($26), Volume Heat Protection ($24), Sculpt ($24), Sculpt and Tone ($26), Shine ($24), and Control Hair Spray ($24).

The Aqua Shampoo smells divine with a light perfume that has a hint of vanilla I believe.  Paraben free with UV protection and rich moisturizers, this formula lathers up well without having to pour much on.

I followed up with the Aqua Conditioner. This is also a caring, but lightweight formula without sulfates or parabens that adds volume and helps fight frizz while it hydrates.  This product combats knots like a champ.

Next, I sprayed their Volume Heat Protection before I grabbed my blow dryer to safeguard vulnerable hair from heat damage. This product also helps give the hair some lift.

Sculpt and Tone is advertised as a soft hold styling cream with a toner to eliminate brassiness that later went on my slightly damp hair.  This tinted cream has a consistency more like a pliable putty for texture.

Since I didn’t know how much I would need, I always like to start with a small amount to see how the product would handle my hair.  Let me tell you, readers, this stuff is one of the best hair products that I have ever used for the way it controlled the force of my down-growing, long sweep of bangs. There were no escapees of wispy bangs either. Furthermore, Sculpt and Tone didn’t leave my hair hard but touchable and soft with wonderful hold, not any wimpy, barely there control.

I was feeling prettier even before I applied their olive oil-based shine spray, Shine, which gave me mirror-like gloss! You can also use this spray as a detangler.

I never heard of an adjustable hold hair spray, where by rotating the nozzle you can change your choice of soft, medium, or strong hold to match your style.  Their Control Hair Spray was a first.  It made sure my hair stayed in place the way I liked.

Sculpt is their soft hold styling cream, which I tried next time. I really loved how the Sculpt and Tone handled my bangs that I used that product for that area and went with the Sculpt for the rest of my hair.  My slightly layered cut allows me to either play up the waves of my natural curl or smooth it with products.  Sculpt gave a smoother curl with nice, moveable hold.

I highly recommend checking out Chroma Studio and their amazing hair products, especially Sculpt and Tone if you have problem hair that fights you at every turn like mine. Seriously, try the collection, view their video while you're there for benefits and pointers, and thank me later!

Coolway's NEW True Smooth Spray Gets More Bang From Your Blowout!--(Review)

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Coolway's NEW True Smooth Spray.jpeg
Coolway's NEW True Smooth Spray

When BeautyStat.com popped Coolway's new True Smooth Spray into the mail for me to review, I was eager to give it a try.   After all, if this hair product was half as good as it was described  for smoothing out my style, drying my hair faster, adding more shine while protecting my hair against damaging heat from styling irons, I would be excited.  If this meant better hair and reducing the number of products to do it, including costs, I would call it a real beauty find.

Coolway has won multiple beauty awards already.  Always striving ahead, their True Smooth Spray is another example of their innovative technology with the development of a revolutionary Amino Lock MAB molecule, which will end your dependence on flat irons and strengthen hair. Heat from the blow dryer activates that technology and works deeply from inside the hair to hold your style while drying it.

You need to apply this product after washing your hair while it is still wet.  With my mid length, I sprayed my head thoroughly all over with 35 blasts before even combing.  Instead of some chemical smell, this spray had a pleasant tropical fragrance to it.

Coolway's NEW True Smooth Spray different angle.jpeg
Coolway's True Smooth Spray
My hair is exceptionally thick with what I consider a normal texture.   Usually it takes me close to an hour to do my hair.  When I began drying, I had to admit this product worked fabulously cutting down that time significantly, practically slashing twenty minutes off.  Also, I loved the extra gloss and the fact that I found less hair attached to my ceramic brushes that I use as I style when I finished blow drying.

As incredible as True Smooth Spray is, I am going to reserve it for those special times when I am going all glamorous because I know it will not let me down.  The only problem for everyday use is all the spraying to make those beautiful results possible.  However, I can't say enough about also about how polished and stronger my hair looked in addition to speeding up that drying time.

What I am sharing with you is my own experience on thick hair.  Do look into this product because the only way you are going to believe what True Smooth Spray is capable of is trying it firsthand on your own hair.

This is the perfect time to test True Smooth Spray out because you can save 10% off it's $34.95 price or any Coolway purchases (not including shipping and taxes) at www.coolwayhair.com when you enter coupon code BeautyStat14 at checkout.

Review: Mineral Fusion Natural Brands NEW Lasting Color Shampoo and Conditioner

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Mineral Fusion Lasting Color Shampoo and Conditioner.jpeg
Mineral Fusion Lasting Color Shampoo and Conditioner

Coloring your hair requires extra care when shopping for shampoos and conditioners.  Therefore, you need the gentlest formulas possible to safeguard the color for the longest time. When I was asked if I wanted to review these new Mineral Fusion Natural Brands Lasting Color Shampoo and Conditioner, I looked forward to testing them since my own color comes out of a box.

With plenty of moisturizing botanicals such as argan oil, jojoba seed oil and sunflower oils to keep hair healthy and touchable and minerals for sun protection, strengthening, and control, this rich foaming shampoo and conditioner were a pampering experience for my strands with the bouncy, shiny hair that later followed.  Due to the moringa seed and mongongo kernel, I noticed how much more my color maintained its vibrancy as well. Something else that I liked was it made my hair softer, but easy enough to manage without being limp.

If you want to keep your freshly colored hair intact, I think you should give this new duo a try.  Both the Lasting Color Shampoo and Conditioner retail for $9.99 each.  They are available in 8.5 oz. tubes, which are hygienically sealed.  Visit Mineral Fusion Natural Brands or buy at Whole Foods.

ENJOY Professional Hair Care Styling Gel, Texture Cream, & Molding Paste Review + ($65) Giveaway!--Ends September 16, 2013

Disclaimer:  This post is based on free products provided by a company as a press sample so that I may offer my own  opinion, which may be the same or differ from yours.
ENJOY Hair Care logo.jpeg
ENJOY

My hair is challenging to say the least.  For one, my hair is quite thick and forceful since it wants to grow down.  I also have waves and curl to it, which can call for different products before I can look presentable.  Therefore, I was eager to experiment with ENJOY Professional Hair Care's Styling Gel, Texture Cream, and Molding Paste that I selected for this review and giveaway and put them through the Mary B. test.

I started with the ENJOY Texture Cream.  After I shampooed and my hair was still damp, I squeezed out a small amount and rubbed it between my hands before running my fingers to work it through where needed.  This product built texture in the layers of my waves and curls without making my hair feel greasy or sticky.  I found it gave me a less-structured sort of curl with a gentle, flexible hold.
ENJOY Texture Cream.jpeg
ENJOY Texture Cream

Controlling this stubborn side sweep of hair to allow only a wispy bang on my forehead was something I thought better suited for ENJOY Molding Paste.  Usually, I use wax or molding putty to manage it.  However, this product was very good for holding most of that forceful hair back so I will save it just for that purpose.
ENJOY Molding Paste.jpeg
ENJOY Molding Paste

The ENJOY Styling Gel was also what I was curious about.  The next time I shampooed, still damp, and ready to style, I applied some of this lightly scented gel to the sides and back of my hair before I dried and took my ceramic brushes to it.  This product left me with a softer curl as well as increased shine.  What I appreciated was the fact it didn't feel like I had a lot of goo in my hair since it was so lightweight.

I liked the ENJOY styling products that I tried here and do recommend looking into their line for these or products geared for your own hair needs.  Find where to buy here.

Kenra Professional shampoos and conditioners

Every so often I make it a habit to shampoo all the dulling residue left behind from styling products and use a good clarifying shampoo.  This is especially  important to me before I intend on re-coloring my hair.  Therefore, I requested Kenra Professional's Clarifying Shampoo as a part of this review since it was that time again for hair beautification.

In the past, I found this variety of shampoo cleansed so thoroughly removing deposits, including fading hair color to give your new hair color the best results.   However, I had discovered Kenra's Clarifying Shampoo was far from typical.  Of course, I should have guessed the hair care experts at Kenra Professional would be ahead of the norm.  After all, I have tested quite a number of their outstanding products, but this shampoo far exceeded my expectation of what is now possible.

Unlike the other clarifying shampoos that I have used, Kenra's product rid hair of all clogging styling products while being color-safe, which means that I could use this more often when starting to notice ugly, lifeless hair on my head.  The moment my hair starts to look drab, I can take out this fresh citrus-smelling shampoo without worrying of stripping my hair color!

Extracts of grapefruit, witch hazel, and amino and chelators, (powerful agents for battling that built-up product gunk and deposits from the hardest water), from this formula left my shabby hair shimmering again and even despite the fact my roots were starting to show.   The feel of my hair was softer and  appeared to have more movement when I played with it.

For highlighted, bleached, or all gray hair, this clarifying shampoo is designed to brighten.  Although I don't have that many gray, I can vouch about the gray escapees glistening now on my own head with added gusto.  Therefore, I can imagine how beaming a head of silver would be.

Daily Provision is a spray leave-in conditioner that I sampled next.  I am prone to knots every time I wash it due to my thick hair.  A conditioner is always critical or I will suffer or break combs.  You can use this on slightly damp hair after washing or on dry hair.  My preference was immediately after washing.  I loved after how a few squirts of this and my wide-tooth comb seemed to glide through.

This leave-in conditioner is great for thermal protection, helps with humidity and saving your hair from total ruination if you are prone to frizz.  As you know, I have some curls and waves that can act up and do terrible things according to the weather.  No more rushing about trying to tame it with Daily Provision in your arsenal, only freedom and extra shininess was what I found I could expect.  In fact, I later began using it on my dry hair as well when I wanted more glossy wattage.

After I later grabbed my box of hair color and beautified, I started testing two more products.  I wanted to see how Kenra Professional Platinum Color Care Shampoo for Normal/Medium Hair would fare on my now glorious chocolate-brown hair.  This is a sulfate-free formula that was so luxurious as I lathered and lost my self in all those fragrant, creamy bubbles.

I followed with Platinum Color Care Mango Butter Moisturizer for Normal/Medium Hair.  If hair could talk, mine would be singing with joy at that silkiness and abundance of gold and red highlights against that rich brown that it now possessed.   My hair was happy and simply just gleaming to life like the colors in a beautiful painting when the light is captured just so.

With all sincerity, these Kenra Professional products were tops.  If you haven't experienced anything from them yet, you really should soon because your beautiful hair will be the envy of your friends!
