Coloring your hair requires extra care when shopping for shampoos and conditioners.  Therefore, you need the gentlest formulas possible to safeguard the color for the longest time. When I was asked if I wanted to review these new Mineral Fusion Natural Brands Lasting Color Shampoo and Conditioner, I looked forward to testing them since my own color comes out of a box.

With plenty of moisturizing botanicals such as argan oil, jojoba seed oil and sunflower oils to keep hair healthy and touchable and minerals for sun protection, strengthening, and control, this rich foaming shampoo and conditioner were a pampering experience for my strands with the bouncy, shiny hair that later followed.  Due to the moringa seed and mongongo kernel, I noticed how much more my color maintained its vibrancy as well. Something else that I liked was it made my hair softer, but easy enough to manage without being limp.

If you want to keep your freshly colored hair intact, I think you should give this new duo a try.  Both the Lasting Color Shampoo and Conditioner retail for $9.99 each.  They are available in 8.5 oz. tubes, which are hygienically sealed.  Visit Mineral Fusion Natural Brands or buy at Whole Foods.

NEW Mineral Fusion Natural Brands Curl Care Beauty Balm Review

Mineral Fusion Curl Care Beauty Balm.jpeg
Mineral Fusion Curl Care Beauty Balm

Mineral Fusion Natural Brands recently came out with some new hair styling products. The line includes four beauty balms geared to a specific hair concern.  Each tube does a lot of different tasks in one as it styles and cares for hair with botanicals and minerals to keep it healthy and  manageable.

I was sent the Curl Care formula (for curl enhancing) to review.  However, there is also Hair Repair (to hydrate and correct damage), Vibrant Shine (for adding gloss), and the Volumizing (to build up hair with extra lift) in these beauty balms.

Though you can use this beauty balm in dry hair, I always prefer applying after towel-drying, freshly washed hair.

I do have some natural curl in my hair that appears the more my hair is layered.  Right now, I am wearing my hair smoother with just slight layering.

After I squeezed out about a nickel-sized amount, I finished styling.  This product safeguards hair color and protects it against heat, which I liked.

The Curl Care Beauty Balm gave my hair extra shine and softness without any frizziness.   I also noticed my hair gained a light hold with a nice bounce to it.

The line of beauty balms is free of paraben, sulfate, and gluten.

Mineral Fusion Beauty Balms retail for $12.99 each for the 5 fl. oz. tube.  To learn more visit Mineral Fusion's website or Whole Foods Markets.

NEWLY FORMULATED Mineral Fusion Natural Brand's Fortifying Shampoo and Conditioner Makes a Shining Difference (Review)

Mineral Fusion Fortifying Shampoo and conditioner.jpeg
Fortifying Shampoo and Conditioner

You will give your hair a beautiful new direction once you discover Mineral Fusion Natural Brand's newly formulated  Fortifying Shampoo and Conditioner.  I was sent the duo to try and must admit that my hair has been looking healthier.

The ingredients include cranberry seed oil, aloe, olive leaf, rose flower, pomegranate, and jojoba seed oil besides a mineral rich clay for delicate cleansing to protect fragile strands and strengthen the hair in the process.  There are no glutens, parabens, sulfates, or artificial fragrances in either of these cruelty-free products.

Instead of a liquid, the new formula now comes in a tube, which I really liked.   The shampoo and conditioner have a nice, thick consistency and a light, pleasant fragrance.

The shampoo foamed up well while the conditioner was great when it came to conquering knots.

Minus the long list of chemicals, this natural shampoo and conditioner allowed my hair to breathe and flourish.  My dry hair also felt softer as well with exceptionally more shine. My guess is the addition of more essential oils such as sunflower seed, argan, and flax seed oils that is now in the conditioner helped make that a shining success.  In all honesty, it is hard to say since I used both products together, but I liked what the pair did for hair!

Both products retail for $9.99 each for a 8.5 oz. tube.  Buy the Fortifying Shampoo and Fortifying Conditioner at Mineral Fusion or Whole Foods Markets.

You'll Love Mineral Fusion Natural Brands Line of Loose Powder Foundations! (Review)

Disclaimer:  This post is based on a free product provided by a company as a press sample so that I may offer my own  opinion, which may be the same or differ from yours.

I can tell you about quite a few companies making excellent loose and pressed powder foundations with beautiful coverage.  Some of those brands, however, have something you may not want like an extensive list of chemical ingredients.  Nonetheless, you have another option without toxic ingredients like Mineral Fusion Natural Brands and their Loose Powder Foundations.

You don't have to worry about parabens, talc, artificial colors, fragrance, or gluten in their formulas.  These lightweight powders adhere to your skin like a silky veil with only natural age defying and skin smoothing ingredients such as pomegranate, white tea, red tea, sea kelp, licorice root, aloe vera, cucumber, and vitamins C and E.   They also have natural UV sun protection in this mineral formula, which is another plus.

I received the line of five different shades of this foundation.

From left to right is Warm 1, Warm 2, Olive 1, Cool 2, and Neutral 2 in the photo.

My best match for my light skin with yellow undertones was Olive 1.  This stuff really helps make your pores almost disappear once I applied.

Here is a photo of my ideal shade, Olive 1.

For those with allergies that are sensitive to flying powder, I have a tip to cut down on that problem.  Use a cotton ball and press the powder in first before holding your breath and brushing away the excess.

Using this Loose Powder Foundation, my face became flawless and the little imperfections were hidden without any mask of heavy makeup for a more natural appearance that lasted for hours.

Earlier, I reviewed the Pressed Powder Foundations and was impressed how exceptional the product was.   The Loose Powder Foundations are just as amazing for delivering outstanding results.  In fact, I am torn between which form I prefer!

Honestly, you should try both of these products and you will thank me when you look at your face.  Either form retails for $29.99.  Find them at Mineral Fusion Natural Brands or Whole Foods.

Look Effortlessly Polished--Check Out Mineral Fusion Natural Brands Pressed Powder Foundations (Review)

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**
Starting from left to right is Mineral Fusion Pressed Powder Foundations: Cool 1, Cool 2, Neutral 1, Neutral 2, Warm 1 and ending with Warm 2 on the right.

If you are trying to get away from toxic ingredients that may be in some cosmetics, then Mineral Fusion Natural Brands is one company you should seek out.  A great introduction might be with one of their excellent pressed powder foundations that I have been using lately.

You will find no parabens, talc, artificial colors, fragrance, or gluten in these silky powders.  These lightweight powders have only natural age defying and skin smoothing ingredients such as pomegranate, white tea, red tea, sea kelp, licorice root, aloe vera, cucumber, and vitamins C and E.   Yet, they also have natural UV sun protection in this mineral formula.

The line has a beautiful range of thirteen shades to suit both warm, cool, and neutral complexions.

My perfect match with my light with warm undertones was  Olive 1, which I will show you in the next photo.

Olive 1 is on the left followed by Olive 2 and ending with deeper Olive 3 on the right.

After I brushed some on and looked at my reflection in the attached mirror of the compact, I loved how this powder instantly sealed up my pores and smoothed my skin in a few quick sweeps.  The shade itself couldn't have been closer to my own natural coloring.  Olive 1 was undetectable when compared to the color of my neck and looked natural, not powdery.

Here are the three Warm shades with Warm 1 on the left, Warm 2 in the middle and Warm 3 on the right.  Warm 1 was also fine for my coloring.  The Warms would be work for anyone with yellow tones in their skin.
I was also impressed by how many hours you can wear this powder foundation and still look good.  It didn't cake, fade, or leave you hunting in your cosmetic bag to constantly retouch.  Good work, Mineral Fusion Natural Brands!
Those with darker complexions might like Deep 1 on the left and Deep 2 on the right.
These pressed powder foundations retail for $29.99.  Find them at Mineral Fusion Natural Brands or Whole Foods.

Get Your Glow on!--Mineral Fusion Natural Brands Blush (Pale & Impact) Review--Photos + SWATCHES!

Trying to find a blush to capture a realistic healthy glow that you are happy with can take some doing.  However, I received two from Mineral Fusion Natural Brands that you should take a look at for what they can do for a face.

Besides being a safer cosmetic, these mineral blushes are free of parabens, glutens, artificial colors, fragrance, and talc as well as infused with beneficial anti-aging pomegranates, white tea, red tea, sea kelp, vitamins C and E to promote healthy skin.

Pale is the first one that I tried.  This is a soft pink-peach color that has a delicate shimmer.  I thought it gave my light skin a fresh and subtle glow that bloomed with gorgeous spring like color.  The color's perfect balance of the two tones is what make Pale so natural looking.

Impact is the other shade sent.  This is a darker color with hints of red in its peachy-brown warmth that has a gentle gleam.  Since my complexion is light, I liked this  more as a bronzer than a blush.  The shade is sunny radiance and would probably compliment those with medium to darker complexions better.

The texture is perfect and silky for when your blush brush glides over it.  The product is neither too powdery with dust flying everywhere nor too condensed that repeated swiping is required before the powder lifts from the container with your brush.

Furthermore, these blushes wore for hours without fading.  I put them on before breakfast and they held their own until late afternoon.

The darkest shade on the right that is closest to my wrist is Impact with Pale on the left in this photo.

I really liked these blushes and am eager to try more colors in the near future.  These are incredibly natural and long-wearing blushes that I was quite taken with.

Have you tried Mineral Fusion Natural Brands blushes yet? Tell me your favorite shades.

They retail for $21.99 at Mineral Fusion Natural Brands website or Whole Food stores.  Do look into these and get your glow on!

Check Out Mineral Fusion Natural Brands Sheer Tint Foundations and Let Your Skin Breathe! (Review)

Disclaimer:  This post is based on a free product provided by a company as a press sample so that I may offer my own  opinion, which may be the same or differ from yours.
Mineral Fusion Natural Brands Sheer Tint Foundations.jpeg
Mineral Fusion Natural Brands Sheer Tint Foundations

Summer is when I like to switch from heavier formulas of foundation for ones with more lightweight textures to allow my skin to breathe.  Depending on the amount of coverage I need, I rotate between pressed and loose powder mineral foundations along with BB creams for the most part.  However, I found another wonderful natural coverage alternative from Mineral Fusion Natural Brands with their Sheer Tint Foundation.

What I liked about this Sheer Tint Foundation is how fresh my dry skin managed to stay while it evened out my complexion with minimal coverage and natural UV protection from minerals, pomegranate, red tea, white tea, sea kelp, and anti-aging antioxidants to keep skin healthy and radiant.  The formula was gentle and didn't irritate my skin being without fragrance, parabens, artificial colors or talc.

I didn't need to use much of this light mineral foundation either and thought this is ideal for when the horrible heat and humidity kick in when you prefer less on your face since it holds up nicely without melting over time.

The line comes in three shades of Warm, Neutral, and Olive.  The Neutral was the lightest and best match for me.  When I get a little more sun, I think the Warm probably would look better.  The Olive color is a bit darker.

This product does have a dewy finish because this is a moisturizing light foundation.   I do not have any idea of how it will compare for someone with oily skin.  Nonetheless, I liked it a lot and will continue wearing it.

Sheer Tint Foundations retail for $29.99.  Find these products at Mineral Fusion Natural Brands or Whole Foods.

Unleashing Some Lippie Love--Mineral Fusion Natural Brands Lip Products Review--Photos--Swatches!

Mineral Fusion

My lips were so happy when they met up with some great new lip products from Mineral Fusion Natural Brands.  Today, I want to tell you about what to expect from their  Lip Sheer and Regular Lipsticks, Lip Glosses, Liquid Lip Glosses, and a couple of their Lip Pencils that I had the chance to review.

Both varieties of their lipsticks went on smoothly and felt nicely conditioning while I had them on from Shea butter, jojoba seed oil, pomegranate, red and white teas, and vitamins C and E.   Furthermore, either type did stay on my lips without disappearing into my skin and lasted from early morning until I ate some off along with my lunch.

The two Lip Sheer Lipsticks I received were Exotic (a lovely medium pink-peach) and Inspire (a pretty cool-toned pink).  Though the colors look darker in the tubes, these deliver a beautiful wash of color.

Alluring, one of the eight Lipsticks in the line had more pigment and gave me striking plum-wine lips.  In the photo below, Alluring is on the left, Inspire is in the middle and Exotic is on the right.

Their Liquid Lip Glosses come in a tube with an angled tip that you apply with for extreme shine whether colorless like Polished or with color.  Sensitive, one of the five colors, is deep berry-red that will make your lips drip and tempt with fruit-like sweetness.

These really feel so comfortable on your lips with their nourishing botanicals that include sunflower oil, vitamin E, and plenty of antioxidants to also protect them.

I also think applying gloss from the tube itself this way poses less risk for contamination as it would when inserting a sponge in and out of gloss.

Mineral Fusion two Liquid Lip Glosses.jpeg

I did find two tubes of Lip Gloss in Serene  and Sheen among the items provided.  These are the type of gloss that you pull out a sponge wand to color your lips.  Sheen was so natural a pink-brown with a tad of peach that really flattered.  Serene was a deeper berry-pink shade that probably could perk up most complexions with how it manages to light up a face.

This form of their gloss had a slightly less moisturizing feel upon my lips compared to the Liquid Lip Gloss.

I also tested two of their four shades of Lip Pencils with Graceful (nude with a bit more brown and on the top in the photo below) and Elegant (a pink-brown).  These pencils spread well without being too dry and did help me keep lipstick and glosses from wandering over my lips.

All these products were wonderful in my opinion, but I think my favorite was their Liquid Lip Gloss.  You get stunning vinyl like shine and it feels like a lip care treatment while keeping you beautiful.

A Gentler Alternative to Beautiful Eyes--Mineral Fusion Natural Brands Lengthening Mascaras and Eye Pencils Review + Swatches

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Mineral Fusion Lengthening Mascaras.jpeg
Mineral Fusion Natural Brands Lengthening Mascaras offers eyes a gentle approach to beauty.

My eyes can be sensitive with my allergies.  However, I had great luck with the Eye Shadow Trios I was sent to review from Mineral Fusion when it came to gentleness. Sometimes, mascaras and liners can be more difficult to predict when your eyes are prone to irritation, but I really liked how both of these more naturally formulated products worked for being  kind to eyes as well as enhancing them.
Graphite-Lengthening-mascara-swatch.jpeg
Graphite Lengthening Mascara
Rock-Lengthening-Mascara-swatch.jpeg
Rock Lengthening Mascara

Their Lengthening Mascara comes in two shades of Graphite (a soft black), and Rock (a brown).  I preferred the Graphite color with my dark eyes and applied it with ease with their wonderful brush.  The formula was smooth, creamy, and didn't clump, but went on evenly to give my lashes added volume.

A Few Mascara Makeup Tips

To pump up the volume further, I will share a great beauty trick with you of how I made even more of this mascara.  Curling your lashes first before mascara with an eyelash curler helps, but heat your eyelash curler first with your hair dryer for a second or two and then see how much better that tool works!  This will open your eyes and result in a gorgeous fringe of lashes.

Another tip I want to pass along is how to keep your mascara from drying out.  This is especially important to remember when using a more natural brand, but this advice applies to all.  Never pump your wand in and out of your mascara.  Pulling that wand from the tube back and forth rapidly draws a lot of air into your mascara to dry it out.  The action also is the quickest way to contaminate your mascara with bacteria.

Furthermore, this formula didn't smudge for me and held up until I needed to remove it.  Being non-waterproof, I found it easier to take off as well.

The Eye Pencils Are Just As Gentle As the Mascaras

Rough-eye-pencil-swatch.jpeg
Rough Eye Pencil
I also played with two of their five shades of Eye Pencils included in my box of review products.  Rough was a medium brown pencil below.  Volcanic was a deep gray color that is pictured.

These are great sharp-tipped liner pencils that have a silkier texture.  This formula has chamomile, meadowfoam, and vitamin E  for helping these pencils glide nicely without tugging on your eyelids and do stay put.

I also liked how the thickness was perfect for sticking into an ordinary size eye pencil sharper.  Did you know that you should sharpen eye liner pencils before you use them each time since bacteria can gather?  This also is something to make a regular practice of doing, especially when using the more natural formulas.  By doing so, you will protect your eyes and keep pencils fresher longer!

Mineral Fusion Natural Brands Lengthening Mascaras and Eye Pencils retail for $14.99 each.  Anyone searching for gentler eye cosmetics that are also 100% Vegan should look into these products because I think you will love them.  Find them online at Mineral Fusion or at Whole Foods Markets and other fine health food stores.
