Glossybox March 2018 beauty.jpeg
Glossybox March 2018 is true beauty, $114.50 worth of fabulous products!

This month’s Glossybox celebrates a woman’s true beauty in honor of International Women’s Day with the perfect assortment of not five, but six full and deluxe sizes of luxury skin, hair and makeup products just as hard-working and amazing as we are.

An advantage of subscribing to this monthly beauty box subscription is what you can discover in each new assortment.  Imagine testing some of your favorites or new beauty brands for just  $21.00 a month and free USA shipping.

true-beauty-eye-pencil-and-concealer-pencils.jpeg
The eye and concealer pencils are so useful to find in a beauty box.

The company puts out several versions of the same month’s box.  Therefore, you may receive products like what arrived in my box or one that has a few different items.  Regardless, the value of all the boxes is comparable and just as exciting.

For instance, Glossybox March 2018 is an outstanding beauty month in my opinion.  Let me show you to understand why it is so tempting.  I found six amazing beauty goodies!

Glossybox March 2018

1.  Cover FX Perfect Pencil Concealer (Full Size)----------------------------------$20.00
2.  Figs & Rouge Soft Focus Pore Perfect + Matte Veil (Full Size)-------------$35.00
3.  Form Beauty Multitask: 3-In-I Leave-In Lotion (1.7 fl. oz. Sample)-----------$4.00
4.  De Bruyere Beaute Jumbo Eye Pencil (Full Size)------------------------------$18.00
5.  Morgan Taylor Professional Nail Lacquer (Full Size)---------------------------$9.50
6.  Unani Il-Luminate Milk Cleanser (Full Size 6.76 oz.)---------------------------$28.00

Total Approximate Value: $114.50!

The Cover FX Perfect Pencil Concealer came in G Light, which was right on target for my warm light skin.  I never tried this brand until this one showed up, but loved how precise it was.  It also was creamy and provided ample coverage for hiding any imperfections.  It’s a waterproof formula that holds up well to wear.

Figs & Rouge Soft Focus Pore Perfect is a primer that smooths out the complexion and keeps the skin matte.  This is  a wonderful product to keep my complexion fresh through summer heat.

Form Beauty Multitask 3-In-I Lotion is a great hair rescue.  This product strengthens and conditions the hair with coconut oil, argan oil, avocado oil, and grapeseed oil to keep it sensational. My hair felt softer, but was very manageable.

The Morgan Taylor Professional Nail Lacquer I got in my box was in a coral-pink shade of Cancan We Dance.  This is pretty for summer fingernails to toes against bronzed skin. It is one of those perky, bright shades that automatically makes you feel happy.

The De Bruyere Beaute Jumbo Eye Pencil was in the shade of Bubble 07, an awesome metallic khaki that I’m confident can look good on any eye.   It is creamy to use as both a shadow and as a liner.  This color seemed to make my dark brown eyes smolder.

Like a cherry on top of an ice cream sundae, Glossybox treated us to a sixth product.  My box has the Unani Il-Luminate Milk Cleanser, which is a creamy emulsion of pampering skin care that rinses makeup and grime easily away with water.  This product and brand were completely new to me, but I liked how quickly they dissolved makeup.

If you want my honest opinion, this is my favorite Glossybox assortment of the boxes I received so far.  What do you think?

Here’s something fun that I want to share.  Go to glossybox.com and tell them about someone you want to nominate as a True Beauty using #GLOSSYBeauty.  You know the woman that has that something special and does extra for everyone, always cheerful and smiling--a True Beauty.   If your entry is selected, you and your friend both win GLOSSYCredit to spend!

Think of getting a Glossybox beauty subscription and entering the True Beauty promotion.  You'll just love what this beauty box can do for you.

Why I Value a Hot Sauce Subscription Like Fuego Box

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

trio-of-artisan-hot-sauces.jpeg
The artisan hot sauces in each Fuego Box have a lot to offer.

Some people are turned off at the mention of hot and spicy foods.  I am not one of those people!  Hot sauce has a lot of value.

Hot Sauce Heightens Taste and Has Health Benefits

I use it freely on a lot of dishes for intensifying flavors is one reason that I am so drawn to hot sauces.  Another is for helping the body burn through a bit more calories.

I also use hot sauce in a DIY remedy for a sore throat or a cough by adding a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to a teaspoon of hot sauce in a glass of warm water.  You gargle and then swallow this drink every two hours and it really helps the pain and control a minor cough.

A Hot Sauce Subscription Has Advantages

With all that you can do and experience through hot sauces, it is only natural that I am a big fan.  This is why I really enjoy a Fuego Box Hot Sauce subscription because my tastebuds are always treated to unique flavors that you would be hard pressed to find locally.

A subscription is convenient and reasonable at $29.95 per quarter for three different artisan sauces that includes free USA shipping.  The company also provides an informational card about food suggestions and details on these small batch sauces.

For instance, March 2018 box brought Dashelito’s Bourbonaro, a mix of bourbon, habanero peppers  in a sweet potato base.  The result is a sweet-savory blend that has a medium sort of heat that was great on fried fish or what you normally might use hot sauce on.

The second bottle I sampled this month was Fool’s Paradise from Merfs Condiments.  This is a perky number with peaches to play off the haberno peppers that has about a medium heat.  I love this one when I poured some on my chicken breast.

The third was Frankie V’s Kitchen with their Green Label Jalapeno Hot Sauce.  This was milder heat with just enough kick.  I thought it tasted delicious on my hot dog yesterday.

Fuego Box Gives Variety With Artisan Hot Sauces

There are a lot of benefits to using hot sauces for what it can bring to food, speeding up your metabolism to using as a DIY sore throat or cough cure.  Of course, you go to your grocery store and pick up hot sauce from a very limited range unlike the interesting variety from Fuego Box.  Check this hot sauce subscription box out because you’ll love it!

A Smoother, More Youthful Complexion Calls for Paula’s Choice Resist Skin Perfecting Care

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

resist-anti-aging-skin-care.jpeg
Resist products could be your weapons against  facial aging.

No one looks forward to aging, but it is a natural part of life.  Though you can’t stop it, you can help erase some evidence of your years through healthy eating and taking care of your skin.  A few products that I tried recently from Paula’s Choice Skin Care line may be just the thing to make a welcome difference on your complexion as well.

Prep the Skin's Surface to Receive Nutrients Through Exfoliation

The Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid ($29.00) is what I used daily after cleansing for five weeks now.  Usually, I don’t exfoliate daily, but twice weekly since it can irritate dry, sensitive skin like mine.  However, this one provided gentle exfoliation and readied the way for Resist Moisture Renewal Oil Booster ($36.00) and the Resist Anti-Aging 1% Retinol Booster ($52.00) that I used together by combining a drop or two of each.  Mixing the retinol with the moisturizer really prevented irritation that often comes with it.

I alternated my routine three times a week with Paula’s Choice Clinical 1% Retinol Treatment ($56.00) and skipped the 1% Retinol Booster and Moisture Renewal Oil to replace it with the Hyaluronic Acid Booster ($46.00).

Retinol Combined With Serum or Moisturizer Doubles Anti-Aging Benefits

Retinol can deteriorate quickly if exposed to light, but these products are dispersed through a pump in solid containers that rule that out from happening.

As to what I noticed overall were more even tone, smoothness, and a bit added radiance than before I started.  My complexion seems softer as well. As to the wrinkle front, I can’t say this was any magic cure to plump them up enough to turn back the clock.  On the other hand, the deepest lines near my mouth didn’t seem as severe.

If you’re considering trying some retinol and exfoliating products, I did have good luck with the several that I sampled here.  I’m curious what my face will look like with longer use.   Have you ever tried Paul’s Choice Skin Care yet?  Check it out at the company’s website.

Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer Original Scent With Original Cherry Almond Essence Review

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

wet-skin-original-moisturizer.jpeg
A  different delivery system results in a deeper moisturizing experience.

For those that are always reaching for a body lotion or oil after emerging from the shower or bath, I want to tell you about a better way to hydrate your body. Jergens has an alternative way to moisturize after bathing with their Wet Skin Moisturizers that include four other varieties besides the Original Scent with Original Cherry Almond Essence that I tested.

What’s different about this wet moisturizing line is you need to apply just a small amount to wet, not dry skin for the product to seal in hydration.  Let me tell you this lotion binds well to those beads of water still clinging to you and absorbs nicely.  I never felt sticky or oily.  My skin felt sufficiently moisturized, velvety and deliciously fragrant with a mix of that almond and cherry.

If you tired of trying the same old lotions and would like a more thorough way to hydrate that also is very low cost, I really liked how the Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer Original Scent with Original Cherry Almond Essence worked for me.  Check it out at the company’s website and wherever you buy Jergens products.

Rimmel Insta Duo Contour Stick (001 Light) Review + Swatches

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

cheap-makeup-contour-stick.jpeg
This makeup stick can reshape and emphasize facial features.

Contouring and highlighting products keep evolving in order to capture our attention and beauty dollars.  A good example is Rimmel’s Insta Duo Contour Stick that has both of those cosmetics in one convenient product.

This line has three shades to choose from with 001 Light, 200 Medium and 300 Dark.

contour-side-of-makeup stick.jpeg
Expect decent color payoff.

Being on the fair to light side, I opted for the Light shade.  The contour side is warm medium brown while the highlight is a champagne with an underlying pink color and subtle shimmer.

highlight-of-contour stick.jpeg
This creamy highlight shade gives the skin a delicate glow.

The Formula of This Cosmetic Has Merit

swatches-of-contour-stick.jpeg
Notice the beaming radiance coming from that pink cast of the highlight to the sunny bronze contour.

You got to love the creaminess of this formula for how well it blends.  I used a contour brush, but you can also use your fingers to apply and get great results.

The formula also is light enough that your complexion can still breathe without that heaviness of thicker coverage.

Also, the highlight isn’t overly sparkly to spoil your complexion with obvious glitter. What you can expect is a softer, refined gleam of radiance wherever you place it.

Still, you got to appreciate the convenience of multitasking makeup like this that has two cosmetics of contour and highlight together in one.

The formula provides at least four hours of longevity when I tested it without a primer.  Priming first will surely prolong the wear time.

A Well-Performing Cheap Contour Stick

For about $5.00 to $6.00, contouring and highlighting are easy to do without overspending.  In fact, you can buy all three shades to play with and still come out ahead compared to the cost of some higher end brands.

If you’re just start to experiment with makeup, Rimmel’s Insta Duo Contour Stick is something that I’m sure you’ll love.  Check the line out at your local drugstores or wherever you shop for Rimmel Cosmetics or visit the company’s website.

Rimmel’s New Wonder Ombre Holographic Eyeliners Can Freshen Up Your Look for Spring 2018

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Wonder-Ombre-Eyeliners.jpeg
These eyeliners present multiple possibilities to give the eyes an unexpected edge of fresh color.

One fabulous look for eyes this coming season will be incorporating some holographic color along with black for adding interesting depth to magnify them.  A way that you can experiment with this exciting makeup trend inexpensively is with a new line of Rimmel’s Wonder Holographic Eyeliners that I got to test out.

This is a line of four double-ended pencils with a lighter holographic side of color and a darker shade on the opposite side that run about $5.49 each.  The shades are 001 Super Nova Sky (inky blue with a whitish-blue-violet holographic side), 002 Galactic Green (blackish green/holographic mint-gold green), 003 Purple Prism (blackish plum/holographic pale pink-violet), and 004 Golden Gaze (blackish brown/holographic gold).

swatches-of-wonder-ombre-eyeliners.jpeg
From left to right is 004 (Golden Gaze), 003 Purple Prism, 002 Galactic Green and ending with 001 Super Nova Sky on the right.

Use Holographic Color Alone or Overlap Deeper Color Can Give Two Different Fresh Effects for Your Spring 2018 Look.

You can wear them by lining your top lid with the dark side and saving the holographic end to line your bottom lid.  Another technique to try is using the darker side to circle the eyes before going over them with the holographic color.  This also will add some pizzazz to your eyes for spring 2018.  Either choice really creates an amazing eye.

These pencils glide along the lids without tugging on delicate skin, which is important.  They also are long-wearing and will require eye makeup remover to finally take them off.  Soap and water will just not cut it.

As to the colors, I thought the 002 Galactic Green was my favorite among the group. It had the most color and played off that holographic side the best for creating stunning eyes in my opinion.

Holographic Duo Eyeliner Offers Startling Color to Freshen Eyes to Update Your Look.

I really had fun working with these eyeliner pencils.  You can control the thickness and thinness of your line to build up color or always further emphasize the line with a liquid or pen eyeliner to go bolder.

Have you tried any of these Rimmel Wonder Ombre Holographic Eyeliners yet?  If so, let me know by sharing your thoughts with me.

Find Rimmel’s new Wonder Ombre Holographic Eyeliners at your local drugstore, Target, Walmart or wherever you normally shop for their products.  Check them out.

Swissdigital’s Circuit Deluxe Travel Business Laptop Backpack Deserves Your Attention

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

laptop-backpack-front.jpeg
This bag has lots to offer for protection and storage.

When I found myself in the market for a laptop bag for traveling, I wanted a well-built one that could take the rigors of a bumpy ride, have plenty of compartments for storage for all my stuff and yet be light enough that even a woman could handle it comfortably using the handle or worn as a backpack without the weight crushing into your back.  For that reason, I was delighted when Swissdigital reached out about reviewing one.

The model that seemed to have it all was the Swissdigital Circuit Deluxe Travel Business Laptop Backpack ($79.99).  Why I was drawn to this one was because it was the size I needed to accommodate my laptop and all else needed when traveling.  If you’re under the impression one size of a bag fits all models of laptops, then you are wrong.  The average laptop is 13-15.6 inches, but gaming models are larger around 17 inches.  Before you buy, remember to keep the size of your laptop in mind.

Yet, There Are So Many Other Amazing Features of Why I Love This Laptop Backpack

inside-laptop-backpack.jpeg
Sturdy construction and well-thought out laptop placement reduce your worries during traveling.

For starters, the model that I chose is spacious with plenty of organizational pockets such as your laptop compartment, another for your tablet, one for your wallet and pockets for your phone and portable battery molded with EVA foam to safeguarding them from damage.

Another plus is that section for the laptop is guarded with sturdy inner padding and centered in the middle of this bag for ultimate protection.

Besides the zippered laptop compartment, there is also a lot more areas for storage with other four zippered sections to keep small needed items like keys, pens, etc. to a separate zippered area for glasses that is easy to access.  This bag is roomy enough to fit a change of clothes for a short business trip to eliminate the need for another bag.

The material is 1680D Ballistic polyester+210D print quality lining, featuring a reinforced body and bottom, which makes it light enough for a woman to handle.

I haven’t even gotten to one of my favorite features about this bag.  It was designed to charge a USB device that is built into the design of this bag. Though it doesn’t come with the power bank, imagine the convenience of hooking an internal one to a USB storage battery and charging that device as plugged into the bag while going to your destination. It also can be a lifesaver if your cell phone suddenly dies at some remote spot that you may be unfamiliar when traveling on the road to recharge. The charging port is handy on the shoulder strap.

back-of-laptop-backpack.jpeg
You get a comfortable fit and find a built-in USB charging port.

Security of Your Laptop and Information Is Also Reason to Love It

Something else that you need to be concerned with is the safety of your personal information.  This bag has RFID protection so no one passing by with a RFID scanner can steal from you.

Another is you won’t be waiting as long as you might take for your security inspection.  This bag is TSA approved  in its sleeve to speed up passing through airport security.

If you’re considering buying a great laptop backpack for traveling on business, Swissdigital at Amazon and this Circuit Deluxe Travel Business Laptop Backpacks are the way to go.  Check them out because you’ll truly love it and them!

Jergen’s Nourishing Honey Dry Skin Moisturizer Offers Affordable Winter Dry Skin Relief

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

dry-skin-moisturizer.jpeg
Healing dry skin doesn't have to be expensive.

My skin demands extra moisture in the winter, especially my hands with how much drier and prone to chapping they are.  As a result, I keep plenty of hand lotions and creams at home hand because they always need moisture.  However, I never tried Jergen’s Nourishing Honey Dry Skin Moisturizer that hit store shelves recently until now.  Since I love to find honey listed as one of the ingredients in skin care products, I thought to give it a test on my constantly dry hands.

Reasons to Seek Out Honey to Nourish Your Dry Skin

1.  Honey is a humectant that has the capability to pull in and seal moisture from the environment as it lubricates.

2.  It also has antibacterial properties for better healing.

3.  Honey also is loaded with antioxidants for skin protection and anti-aging.

4.  Furthermore, honey can give the skin an enhanced glow.

honey.jpeg
Humectants like honey attract moisture to help the skin repair process.

This dry skin moisturizer also has another major humectant of glycerin as well as orange blossom essence, which are also ideal for repairing dry skin.

This lotion has a sweetness to its citrus-floral scent that is very pleasant.  The product is fast absorbing and does leave skin soft, but not sticky.  Another plus about this new lotion is how inexpensive it is.  A 16.8 size bottle can retail for about $5.64 for some trustworthy hand help.

The only down side is this dry skin moisturizer does have petroleum, mineral oil and aluminum in its base.  Nonetheless, it does solve that dryness problem quickly to heal.

Dry Winter Skin Care Can Be Inexpensive and Yet Effective Thanks to Honey

If you’re in need of affordable dry skin moisturizers, then Jergen’s Nourishing Honey Dry Skin Moisturizer is one to check out.

Glossybox February 2018 #GLOSSYkisses Review

Glossybox-February-2018.jpeg
Glossybox February 2018 is ready for lots of kisses.

Despite the depressing, never-ending snow, my day brightened the other day when the latest Glossybox arrived.  The theme for February 2018 from this beauty subscription box is #GLOSSYkisses to make most of Valentine’s Day beauty!

If you have been thinking of subscribing to a beauty box and are trying to narrow your choices down, then let me tell you the advantages of Glossybox.  What I love is each box has at least five full and larger sample sizes of luxury brands of makeup, skin and body care, hair products, fragrances to tools for just $21.00 a month and free USA shipping.  Furthermore, I never saw a box better packaged than the way Glossybox does there with an outer box protecting the pretty pink interior box to secure all your beauty goodies. You also get a huge sheet with photos and details about each product in your monthly assortment along with any special deals with a coupon code.

Now that I piqued your curiosity, let me dive right into what you may see in your February 2018 box.  However, I do want to remind you that Glossybox sends out several different assortments each month.  Some of the products that you see here will be the same; however others may be different, but of the same value.  Regardless, I'm sure that you'll probably love it just as I do.  Check out below.

Glossybox February 2018

1.  John Masters Organics Body Wash (2.0 oz. Sample)----------------------$6.50
2.  John Masters Organics Body Milk (2.0 oz. Sample)-------------------------$6.50
3.  Royal Apothic Scrubbie Exfoliated Lip Treatment (Full Size)-------------$14.00
4.  Doucce Lush Lip Gloss (Full Size)------------------------------------------------$22.00
5.  JJ Young Mud Sheet Mask (1 Mask)-----------------------------------------------$5.00
6.  Pick And Pinch Pink Metallic Slant Tweezer -----------------------------------$20.00

Total Approximate Value: $74.00!

Both John Masters Organics Body Wash and Body Milk came in the scent of Geranium & Grapefruit.  This is fresh, but a sweeter citrus due to the floral that was lovely for sudsing as well as leaving a subtle scent when moisturizing with this lightweight lotion.  Starting your day with this duo can definitely lift up a bleak mood, which I appreciated.  Using Glossybox18 you can get 20% off any order at John Masters website if you order before April 15.

The Royal Apothic Scrubbie Lip Treatment has a deliciousness about it.  It is made of natural sugar, fig extract and oils that moisturize as well as exfoliates.  My lips were smooth and tasty.

The Doucce Lush Lip Gloss that I received was in Glistening Petals.  This is a medium warm pink with a delicate shimmer that is so versatile.  I will get lots of use of this one. It also feels good on the lips with plenty of lubrication.

I didn’t get a chance to try the JJ Young Mud Pore Green Tea Mud Sheet Mask yet because of prior skin care testing commitments, but will treat my complexion to a detox with this Korean skin care mask very soon.  Besides green tea, it also has rose hip and charcoal to purge pores of impurities while helping to restore moisture.

I also got the Pick And Pinch Pink Metallic Slant Tweezer.  This product I will be giving away to my neighbor’s daughter because I have no use for a tweezer since my brows are professionally done.  They do have a pretty rose-gold finish and look angled enough to grab onto tiny hairs.

Overall, it was a good box with a $74.00 value.  My only disappointment was finding the tweezer instead of a product that I would use since I have no use for one.  Nonetheless, it will be going to a good home where it can be appreciated. What do you think of Glossybox February 2018?

For $21.00 you get $74.00 worth of beauty is a great deal to me.  Check this luxury beauty subscription out and all they have to offer at the Glossybox website.

Valentine’s Day Beauty Begins With Earth Therapeutics K-aesthetics Organic Retinol Skin Care

disclaimer.jpeg

 earth-therapeutics-skin-care-and-mask.jpeg
Beautiful skin doesn't have to bankrupt you.

Before you begin preparing for your big date on Valentine’s Day, the best way to up your beauty is through rest and boosting the radiant glow of your complexion.  After all, you can put on the most expensive brands of makeup, but those products can only do so much when your skin isn’t as healthy, smooth and toned as it can be.

Regular maintenance is essential to nourish and repair to give the complexion that perfect base, which is far better than always relying on a silicone primer to mask skin problems as well as block that natural glow.  With certified organic skin care, you are giving your complexion the promise of a beautiful tomorrow by feeding it pure beneficial botanicals instead of a chemical soup.

A certified organic brand that I recommend is Earth Therapeutics K-aesthetics Korean skin care that I have been using, which are very reasonable as well as effective for helping transform your complexion.

My first experience was with their charcoal-based skin care and wonderful charcoal-infused brushes to deter bacteria.  If you want a great set of brushes for $14.99, I honestly encourage you to pick one up because it’s a nice selection of quality brushes that I use all the time.

Lately, I have been sampling their K-aesthetics Clair-Gel Retinol & Collagen Mask ($11.99) for a box of three sheet masks.  These are those translucent face masks with the eye, nose and mouth openings that have one side treated with the skin care ingredients of red algae, retinol, collagen, konjac root, seed oils, and aloe vera among other fantastic ingredients.  Not only are these ingredients helpful for anti-aging, replenishing moisture and overall skin beauty, but they also have an ideal protein-like molecular structure to imitate the skin’s structure to penetrate the dermis.

Just like any other sheet mask, I started by washing my face first and gently drying before I pasted this mask on.  It even has wings to help keep the mask more secure.  However, I found the gel adheres nicely to the skin, especially when you smooth out any bubbles where too much of it has gathered.  The directions specify 20-25 minutes, but I was so relaxed that I left it on for about 35 minutes before I took it off.  With this particular mask, no rinsing is required.  Once I disposed of the sheet, I patted in the remaining gel into my skin, allowing it eventually to sink it.

A short time later, my skin looked smoother, rosier and nearly flawless when it came to noticing any pores.  It also was extra soft to the touch.  My complexion responded beautifully from how it seemed to beam from within to the surface.  When you break it down, the cost was just $4.00 with two other times left to go for my complexion to look this good.

Sleep is also important to boost your beauty since this is repair time when your body works to send nutrients to heal and build new cells.  Therefore, a nap before your big Valentine’s Day date is not a bad idea.  Earth Therapeutics also sent along their Dream Silk Sleep Mask ($9.99) with cradles the eyes in softness and darkness once you secure it with its elastic band, which can come in handy to induce sleeping when it’s light outside.

After you return from your Valentine’s Day date, you need to remove all your makeup. A quick solution when you arrive home late is makeup wipes.  Earth Therapeutics sent along K-aesthetics Organic Cleansing Facial Towelettes (mini three pack) that retails for $7.99.  I liked getting the variety included in here with 15 Retinol, 15 Tea Tree, and 15 Collagen makeup wipes.  These wipes took off my face makeup, but they aren’t recommended for use on the eyes.  You’ll still need your eye makeup remover.

You don’t have to pay a fortune for a complexion that looks like it does. With Earth Therapeutics K-aesthetic Organic Clair-Gel Retinol & Collagen Mask, Organic Cleansing Facial Towelettes to their Sleep Mask, you can that improved complexion that you deserve without going broke.  Have you tried any Earth Therapeutics K-aesthetics skin care yet?  Check their website out.

Review: Fuego Box Hot Sauce Subscription February 2018

Fuego-Box-February-2018.jpeg
Fuego Box for February 2018 packs a lot of tasty heat!

This winter has dealt us nothing but one storm after the next with icy blasts of below normal temperatures, piles of snow and ice here in the Northeast.  Therefore, I honestly eat more hot sauce than ever at this time of year for extra help in keeping me warmer and fuel up the metabolism to burn more calories.  So you can imagine how pleased I was when I heard my mailman struggling with my screen door to keep my latest Fuego Box from falling out when he left it.

If you also value the power of some hot, spicy flavors to heat up, you can’t go wrong with Fuego Box.  A subscription is $29.95 per quarter for three different hot sauces that includes free USA shipping.  The company also provides an informational card about each of that month’s selections and suggests the best foods to enjoy them with.

This month I got three new varieties to experiment with.  The first is Monroy’s Original Hot Sauce (Mango Habanero) that has an orange tint to the red.  You should try this milder sweet and yet tangy heat on scrambled eggs because it is a delicious way to go.

Gindo’s Smoked Garlic Cilantro was the second hot sauce offering this month.  This one is very versatile, but hotter than the Monroy’s with a sweet, smoky balanced heat that greets your mouth with freshness from cilantro.  I first sampled this one on a burger that did a sensational job to jumpstart the flavor better than catsup.

The final contender this month is Smokin’ Ed’s Habanero Blend from the PuckerButt Company.  After tasting this fiery blend of six different habanero peppers, I can certainly see how the company came up with that original name.  This is liquid fire.  Keep some milk on hand to quench the burn, but it is bursting with flavor once you get feeling back in your tongue.

No joke, I never encountered a disappointing Fuego Box yet.  Have you tried this hot sauce subscription yet?

Review: PUR Cosmetics Correcting Primers (Redness Reducer, Hydrate & Balance, Dark Spot)

three-correcting-primers.jpeg
Primers can help perfect the look of your makeup while caring for the skin.

Using a primer can only enhance the look of your makeup.  Regardless of your skin type or issue, PUR Cosmetics has a variety of correcting primers to counteract and provide the solution for a beautiful face such as the selection the company sent to me to sample.

One thing that I admire about this company is that all their healthier formulated products are cruelty-free, paraben free, gluten free, and vegan.  This concern for well-being extends even to the containers they use, being free of Bisphenol A (BPA).

The first primer I want to tell you about is their Redness Reducer, which is a green color in the tube.  I don’t have any redness from rosacea to compare this product with, but my mother does.  Therefore, she was the tester. Besides liking how easy it was to blend, she loved the way this primer calmed down the redness without any irritation with its aloe vera on her sensitive skin.

I also got a tube of their Hydrate & Balance Corrective Primer.  This is the blue mattifying primer that is free of both oil and silicone that is ideal for oily or acne prone complexions with its salicylic acid.  Though I don’t have oily skin, I always start with a moisturizer before priming.  Even with the added moisturizer, this product will prevent oil from shining through for hours.

The last one I received was their Dark Spot Corrector.  This is the orange tinted one that works wonders on dark circles and any spots such as hiding remnants of a pimple with its Walthena leaves, vitamin B3 and lubricating babassu oil.  It covers, moisturizes and brightens without piling on the product.  In fact, use it sparingly for the best results.

Review: Sara Happ Lip Scrub and The Lip Slip One Luxe Glosses (Pink, Rose Gold, Peach)

Here is the Sara Happ Rose Gold Lip Slipp.

Winter can be especially problematic for drying the lips and leaving them rough.  Of course, you can turn to lip balms along with lipsticks and glosses.  Yet, those products can’t heal flaky lips instantly to provide that ultimate smoothness for your lip color.  However, there is a quicker route to beautiful lips that I discovered lately using Sara Happ luxury lip products.

This is golden peach-nude color of that Rose Gold gloss. It has lots of golden sparkle to it.

When you don’t have time to make your own DIY Lip Scrub, a commercial product is convenient.  The Sara Happ Lip Scrub I tried was in Pink Grapefruit.  This is a pink tinted, but vegan sugar scrub with petroleum, vitamin E, nourishing seed oils such as grape and jojoba seed oil and natural extracts. There are also five other flavors available.

This product has a thick consistency with a pleasant grapefruit scent. I didn’t use much, because less is more when it comes to this Lip Scrub.  All I did was apply some product to my clean lips, then massaged over the lips in a circular fashion before removing with a tissue.  This scrub and the gentle workout improve circulation from the healthy color my lips gained while ridding them of any dry, flakiness.

Sara Happ also provided a few of her Lip Slips as well. This formula has a slight, sweet vanilla scent.  It is a moisturizing gloss that is thick, but not overly so or sticky when applied with its doe foot applicator that does satisfy lips.

This is The Pink Slip.

The Pink Slip is a medium warm pink that is on the sheer side with a slight gleam.  The Peach Slip is warm peach-nude with just a hint of pink. The Rose Gold Slip is a nude with more gold sparkle to it.

If your lips could benefit from some luxurious pampering, I suggest visiting the Sara Happ website to check out The Lip Scrub ($22.00) and The Lip Slips ($24.00) each.
