The holiday season is the perfect opportunity to break out of your hair rut. One of the easiest ways to create a little glam is styling your hair differently.  With that thought in mind, I was delighted when I was sent the John Frieda Styling Tools Conair Body & Shine Smooth Waves Hair Setter to review so I could experiment on my own hair.

This hair setter with its advanced ionic technology has five jumbo rollers. These are two-inch ceramic flocked ones that heat very quickly in about two or three minutes whether you chose the high or the low setting.
What I really liked was the ends of these hot rollers stay cool so you don’t accidentally burn your fingers like you can on occasion. The rollers themselves are smooth, but you get butterfly clips to lock the hair in.

My hair is thick and has some natural wave to it. Anyone with natural waves and curls knows the problem of battling frizz and smoothing those humps and bumps on a regular basis.  However, after using this hair setter, I got a looser sort of a curl and not a tight one that had more gloss and less frizz to it.  I might describe the look of these curls more of flowing waves than traditional curls that had volume through those curves.

If this sounds like you or you know someone that wants to get more of a wave than a curl for their hair, this would make a great holiday gift for that person on your list.  Do check out John Frieda Styling Tools Conair  Body & Shine Smooth Waves Hair Setter  when shopping.

You might think picking out the perfect hair dryer for yourself is as easy as pulling out your credit card.  Yet, with all the models and price ranges are you sure that the one you have in mind has exactly the features you need or are you overpaying?  The next time you are in the market for a new hair dryer, you might be interested in John Frieda's Full Volume Hair Dryer that I was sent to review because this one may pleasantly surprise you for an inexpensive model.

This gun-shaped dryer has 1875 watts of power, a lightweight AC motor, high voltage advanced ionic generator, three heat settings, two speeds, and a cold-shot button.

Using this dryer did make my drying time a snap while it also blew in enough bouncy volume and gloss due to its ionic and ceramic technology. As I worked my brushes drying, the cold shot button locked in my natural curl nicely without my need of further curling.  Due to the ionic technology, I noticed my hair had no static electricity problem with any weird flyaway hair.

I started with one of the two concentrator attachments it comes with, but used the diffuser the next day.  Wow, did my natural curl spring up through my layers once I did that.

Its titanium and ceramic coating was specifically designed for gentler and more even heat distribution.  This is important if you ever dried your hair and remembered that smell of hair burning as you aimed heat at it.

It also looks to be of studier construction than some of the plastic models that I have owned.  At the same time, it also feels a bit heavier than others I have used as well.

I did think the John Frieda's FullVolume Hair Dryer was a wonderful performer.  It dried quickly, added an extra shine and did seem to make even more of my natural curls, especially when I attached the diffuser.  Do check this product out because I think you would like it!

Find Your New Perfect Hair Dryer--Karmin G3 Salon Pro Hair Dryer (Review)

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**
One detachable nozzle attachment is included with this dryer.

Having an extremely thick head of hair, I need a very hot and powerful hair dryer to take care of it.  Otherwise, drying my locks can take forever, which is unacceptable, especially when time is of the essence.  Besides speed, I want a high-quality professional dryer that is fairly light to hold, turns on the shine while making the hair soft and manageable.  If it happens to come with a diffuser and a great warranty of three years like the Karmin G3 Salon Pro Hair Dryer that I was sent to review, then I am even happier.

As you can guess, I was thrilled when this dryer arrived since it had all the specifications that are important to me.  The Karmin G3 is a pistol-shaped dryer that has three temperature settings, two speeds, a cool shot button, and a separate diffuser attachment. A carrying case is even included, which is wonderful for storage or travel.

It also comes equipped with two thousand watts of power with moist ceramic heat from pure ceramic coils for even heat distribution in its long-life AC motor.  This means faster drying, more protection from damage and frizz, and lots more riveting shine as it seals the cuticle, repelling humidity and locking in color.

Some hair dryers can feel too heavy or awkward to use.  However, this dryer was fine to handle without tiring my delicate wrist before I finished.

I used this dryer as it came with the nozzle the first time and worked my ceramic brushes for a straighter style.  When my hair was still damp-dry, I turned on that blue cool shot button to finish styling.  I loved how it increased softness and the resulting beautiful gloss.

Since I have a lot of curls and layers cut in my hair, I couldn't wait to try the diffuser the following day.  This is not a wimpy attachment, but a larger size one that in the old days you would have needed to buy separately.  Using this professional diffuser brought out so many amazing curls that it looked like I curled it instead of blowing it.

In my opinion, the Karmin G3 Salon Pro Hair Dryer is indispensable for fantastic drying time and styling results.  Though I haven't had it for long, it appears to be a sturdy hair dryer that you can change your look with from smooth to curly styles.

Usually, this dryer retails for $189.95 but you buy it now for $159.95!  You can also connect with Karmin on Facebook.

Personally, I love my new hair dryer and highly recommend getting one for yourself.  When the Karmin G3 Salon Pro Hair Dryer does all those things what is there not to love about it?

I can't keep my feelings hidden any longer.  I must confess that I am head over heels in love--that is not with a new man but with my new Epic Lite Hair Dryer and ONE Diffuser from ONE Styling that I received for this review and giveaway.  This duo is the ultimate in delivering beautiful volume and if you're lucky to have some natural waves and curl like mine, a head of stunning full curls--even without a styling product!

However, I am getting ahead of myself.  But I can't believe how many big, bouncy curls I'm still wearing after I experimented with that new dryer and diffuser last night.  I am in awe of this magnificent technology because I never had such fullness and lasting curls unless there were lots of products involved.

The Epic Lite  is a miniature dryer like a gun that  is the perfect weight and slim shape for someone with a small hand like mine when it comes to maneuvering.  To make it this light, you might think the material of the body would be an inferior looking plastic but it is sturdy looking construction with a double walled body.

I have had hair dryers that my wrist got tired before I finished styling my thick hair.  The Epic Lite rocks once again in the power department with 1875 watts in its high torque DC motor.  It has the ceramic sphere technology for capitalizing on bringing out your hairs shine and locking moisture in as well.  Besides, the cool shot button for setting in your style, it has buttons for changing temperatures and speeds.  A concentrator nozzle is also included to aim that heat exactly where you need it.

However, the most amazing quality this hair dryer has is its Ionic Intel System.  By adjusting a switch, you can go from sleek to voluminous, depending on whether you use the positive ions or the negative ions.  Imagine 10,000 times more negative ions than any coated tourmaline dryer, which means super everything from unbelievably fuller looking hair or just smoother, polished hair.

When you use the positive ions setting in the Ionic Intel System, you open the hair cuticle, which would be ideal also for any stylist applying any chemical treatment to a client.  Once the treatment absorbed, you later seal the hair cuticles with negative ions to make the process last.

Of all the dryers I have ever owned, this one has the longest cord so you never have to worry about where you have to sit before you're able to plug in.

The ONE Diffuser can fit onto any gun like type of dryer to help take advantage of any natural wave or curl in your hair.  You can set it to minimum or maximum by turning it.  This tool was like cream to an already purring cat because when I was done I was so satisfied with the dazzling, big curls it brought out from my layered cut.

You may think I'm going overboard with how much I love this dryer, but the Epic Lite did things for my hair that no other dryers could compare with--and in record time!  I can't recommend the Epic Lite Hair Dryer from ONE Styling more highly.  If you want to make more of your hair, you really need one of these.  It  retails for $240 and would make a great Mother's Day gift.   (This is a hint, husbands or boyfriends--so do the right thing)!

With all sincerity, if you any natural wave or curl in your hair, you should also pick up that ONE Diffuser.  Use it and you will never want to be without it with those amazing voluminous curls that you can get.  This diffuser retails for $30.

Simply put, I am deeply and totally in love with the Epic Lite Hair Dryer and the ONE Diffuser from ONE Styling.  Trust me, but this dryer puts your old one to shame.   Buy these and you will thank me!

Thanks to ONE Styling, one lucky Nuts 4 Stuff reader in the United States or Canada wins both a ONE Styling Epic Lite Hair Dryer and the ONE Diffuser (a total value of $270)!
