Check out my hair find for stronger hair!

My hair does not always make me happy.  Though I have a lot of it, at times I find more of it everywhere than normal.  Seriously with how thick my hair is, I don’t miss it but would rather have it stronger so I wanted to try Mineral Fusion’s new Strengthening Shampoo and Conditioner.

The Strengthening Shampoo ($9.99) has vegetarian keratin proteins, minerals, marula and peppermint oils that make up this gentle, clay-based formula that is also safe for  color-treated and all hair types. Immediately, I was taken in by its appealing fragrance, almost like a gourmand floral with how delicious it smelled.  What I noticed was it lathered nicely and seemed to lightly stimulate the scalp, which was refreshing before rinsing.

A beauty staple that every woman needs to assure her makeup appears flawless is the right face primer. If you are trying to limit the chemicals in your life and are gravitating toward vegan brands and natural skin care, then you would be interested to hear about the latest one I sampled with Mineral Fusion’s Hydrating Primer.

This nourishing formula is extremely kind to any complexion with its bounty of natural antioxidants for anti-aging, including collagen boosting peptides for help with fine lines.  It also has mineral water for hydration as well as botanicals like aloe, lavender, thyme and rosemary to calm as it works to form a protective film before makeup.  This is a gentle, 100% vegan primer that is free of parabens, phthalates, artificial color or gluten.

I am a stickler when it comes to doing everything in my power to defend my face against the ravages of time and the elements. Therefore, I make it a habit to never leave the house without some form of sunscreen.  A wonderful multitasking mineral moisturizer that I tried lately was the one I received from vegan brand, Mineral Fusion.

In the past, I have had trouble with reactions from some chemical sunscreens.  However, I never had a problem with the mineral formulas or any of the skin care products that I have already sampled from Mineral Fusion.

Their Mineral SPF 40 Face Moisturizer has no phthalate, paraben, gluten or artificial color and is 100% vegan to safeguard health.  Mineral Fusion’s formula is gentle with a marvelous, thicker consistency that is not too heavy or too light. Yet, this lotion feels practically weightless on your skin.

This non-sticky lotion is quickly absorbing and makes a nice base to apply primer or your foundation without casting that white look that you can get when using a natural sunscreen  while satisfying the skin with plenty of moisture and sun protection.

Furthermore, I never looked greasy wearing this through my day.  Though I do have to admit that my complexion is dry, but its shea butter along with the mineral water formula gave me a dewy look.

If you’re hunting for a great natural moisturizer/sunscreen that won’t make you look like a ghost afterwards, I urge you to try Mineral Fusion’s Mineral SPF 40 Face Moisturizer ($24.99) because it is a true find and the next best friend an aging face can have. Find it at the company’s website or Whole Foods.

Coloring your hair requires extra care when shopping for shampoos and conditioners.  Therefore, you need the gentlest formulas possible to safeguard the color for the longest time. When I was asked if I wanted to review these new Mineral Fusion Natural Brands Lasting Color Shampoo and Conditioner, I looked forward to testing them since my own color comes out of a box.

With plenty of moisturizing botanicals such as argan oil, jojoba seed oil and sunflower oils to keep hair healthy and touchable and minerals for sun protection, strengthening, and control, this rich foaming shampoo and conditioner were a pampering experience for my strands with the bouncy, shiny hair that later followed.  Due to the moringa seed and mongongo kernel, I noticed how much more my color maintained its vibrancy as well. Something else that I liked was it made my hair softer, but easy enough to manage without being limp.

If you want to keep your freshly colored hair intact, I think you should give this new duo a try.  Both the Lasting Color Shampoo and Conditioner retail for $9.99 each.  They are available in 8.5 oz. tubes, which are hygienically sealed.  Visit Mineral Fusion Natural Brands or buy at Whole Foods.
