Blush Mystery Beauty Box November 2014

A must-have gift for anyone obsessed with beauty is giving them a beauty subscription this holiday season. One of my favorites is Blush Mystery Beauty Box because their beauty experts have excellent insight in scouting out the best new makeup, skin and hair care products to save a busy girl time with their monthly beauty picks.

In fact, I have discovered so many wonderful products through them that I might not have found on my own. For just $24.95 a month or a one time box for $34.95, you always count on a mix of full to sample size products that are a higher end and always worth at least $100 in each black bag, which is a deal.

For example, I want to share what I found when I opened up this month’s bag.  Take a look below and you can decide yourself because I thought it was another awesome assortment.

Blush Mystery Beauty Box November 2014

1.  Lauren B. Beauty Nourishing Hand Creme–Full Size (2 fl.oz.)–$24.00

2.  Miracle Skin Transformer Face Spotlight SPF 20–Sample Size (3ml)–$3.25

3.  Traditions By Nick Chavez Prickly Pear Restoring Mist–Sample (2 fl. oz.)--$6.00

4.  Laura Geller Beauty Cool Lids Cream Eyeshadow in Silver Sands–Full Size–$12.50

5.  Skinmedica TNS Eye Repair–Sample (15ml)–$13.00

6.  Jane Iredale Eye Gloss (Aqua Silk)–Full Size–$15.50

7.  Nuxe Clarifying Cream-Mask With Rose Petals–Sample (15ml)–$8.70

8.  Julien Farel Haircare A2B Technology Hydrate Restore for Normal or Fine Hair–Full Size (8.5 oz.)–$33.00

Total Value: $115.95!

The Lauren B. Beauty Hand Cream has a beautiful floral scent in a luxurious feeling formula that helped do away with dryness.  Unless you hate or can’t take fragrance in your skin care, you would have to love this product.

I didn’t test the Miracle Skin Transformer Face SPF 20 BB cream yet, but I did try other skin care from this company from a previous bag and really thought it worked well.  I am looking forward to sampling this one soon.

I was so glad to find another Nicky Chavez hair product this month.  I first became acquainted with this brand through this subscription box when they included the Plump ‘ Thickening Shampoo from an earlier bag.  I fell in love with it because I can skip wearing mousse when I use that shampoo for what it does to pump up my curls. This leave-in conditioning spray was also quite nice.

The Silver Sands eye shadow from Laura Geller first appeared a few months back.  I was surprised to see the same tube return.  Though it’s a fine product, I would have liked another shade.

The eye cream from Skinmedica spread wonderfully without being too sticky or slick.

The Jane Iredale Eye Gloss is a very good eye shadow for how it wears and looks.  My only problem with it is the shade of Aqua Silk.  I am into more browns, plums, and neutrals for the most part.

The Nuxe Cream-Mask will be wonderful to try soon.  But, my face is once again under current skin care testing to do it now.  I am a big fan of masks whether they come from a store or my kitchen for improving a complexion.

Finally, I didn’t get to treat my hair to some deep conditioning with the Julien Farel Hydrate Restore only because I just did that the other day. You forgo shampoo and conditioner and use a bit of this instead to revitalize as it cleans for the return of gorgeous hair.  I can’t wait to try this the next time my hair is suffering.

I really thought the selection overall was great with the exception of aqua eye shadow.   What about you?  Have you tried Blush Mystery Beauty Box yet?  Do look into it for yourself and those beauty lovers that you're buying gifts for!

Blush Mystery Beauty Box September 2014

Finding just the perfect beauty products is not as simple as some people think with all the brands available.  What I appreciate about Blush Mystery Beauty Box is that this company and their panel of experts helps you stay on top of the latest beauty trends and products to make it simpler.

Every box is worth at least a $100 value, but it is usually more.  The beauty items are ones we either have longed to try or, perhaps, have not known about until discovering it in an assortment.  If you ask me, what better way to shop for cosmetics, skin and hair care, etc. than with a subscription for $24.95 a month or $34.95 for a one-time purchase?

Let me show you my September 2014 box and you can judge yourself.

Blush Mystery Beauty Box (September 2014):

     1.    Vapour Organic Beauty Solar Translucent Bronzer (Simmer 222) Full Size- -$36.00

2.    Klorane Extra-Gentle Dry Shampoo With Oat Milk (Sample Size 50ml)— $6.50

3.    Lumene Sensitive Touch Cleansing Wipes (10 Count)— $3.00

4.    ColorWow One-Minute Transformation—Full Size--$24.00

5.    SkinCeuticals Advanced Pigment Corrector (sample of unstated size)—5ml? --$15.00 but probably more

6.    Juice Beauty Reflecting Lip Gloss (Organic Pink)—Full Size--$15.00

Total Value--$99.50 +

The Vapour Organic Beauty Bronzer was welcome to find.  I liked how it helped me transition from summer with enough healthy color without being too brown.

The Klorane Dry Shampoo was just the right size when packing for your vacation or to the hospital.   This is not the first time I used this product.  When normal shampooing is out of the question, this is the next best thing.

The Lumene Cleansing Wipes are another handy product that I thought dissolved makeup without much effort.  The only thing I didn’t care for was the package had an expiration date of 10/2014.

ColorWow One-Minute Transformation sounds like my kind of hair styling fix to transform thick, dry hair.  This product is one that I haven’t played with yet, but soon intend to.

As to the SkinCeuticals Corrector, this is another new product waiting on my vanity.  I will have to hold off trying this product until after finishing a current skin care product review.

Finally, there was the Juice Beauty Reflecting Lip Gloss.  This was my first time using this company’s lip gloss, but not the last.  The product was not sticky in the least and the plum color was gorgeous in Organic Pink.

I thought September 2014 provided an excellent month of beauty products.  If you haven’t experienced Blush Mystery Beauty Box, I think you should look into a subscription because it is a fun way to shop!

Don't you wish that you could try every product that beauty editors obsess over?  A monthly beauty subscription may be the solution without dropping your entire salary in the process.  One that I happen to think is fabulous for trying the latest skin care, makeup, hair products or fragrance from upper end brands is Blush Mystery Beauty Box. Each monthly selection is valued at $100 or more of full to travel products hand picked by the company's panel of astute beauty experts for just that reason.

This month's selection is all about beating the heat with six wonderful products. Take a look at what I received below.
Blush Mystery Beauty Box (August 2014):

1.  Dr. Brandt BB Matte with Signature Shine Erase (Light to Medium)--Full Size--$39.00

2.  Skinmedica Dermal Repair Cream--Sample (.25 oz.)--$18.23

3.  Nailtiques Color Lacquer with Protein--Full Size--Milan 315--$10.00

4.  Nick Chavez Plump 'N Thick Thickening Shampoo--Sample (2 oz.)--$6.00

5.  Neuma Style Texturizer--Full Size--$24.00

6.  Pixi by Petra Lid Last Shadow Pen (Graphite Glint)--Full Size--$18.00

Total Value:  $115.23!

The Dr. Brandt BB Matte had a creamy consistency, but dries rather quickly. It provided semi-sheer, matte coverage in a color that suited by light complexion. I had worried the formula wouldn't be appropriate for my dry skin since it was intended for oily/combination skin, but it felt weightless and comfortable.

The Skinmedica Dermal Repair Cream is a brand I hear a lot of good things about.  Since I am currently testing another skin care product, I will need to wait to see how it performs on my face until I finish with the project.

The Nailtiques Color Lacquer is something I am excited about with its protein in the formula. Anything to keep my nails strong looks like a winner to me.  Milan is a gorgeous shimmering burgundy color and one that will be ideal for Fall.

The Nick Chavez Plump 'N Thick Thickening Shampoo smells incredibly and produces rich lather. My hair is thick but I do have some layers.  This stuff did give me a bit more body to the curls as well as glossy sheen.

The Neuma Style Texturizer was a big hit with me with my layers. This product could really work my natural curl while being powerful enough to hold back my side swept bangs.

I liked my new Pixi by Petra Lid Last Shadow Pencil for how it simplified doing a smoky eye. It was thin enough to use as eyeliner that you can later smudge for that mysterious effect.
This was an outstanding collection by their panel of beauty experts that really helps polish your summer beauty off in style.

Blush Mystery Beauty Box runs $24.95 for a monthly subscription or ordering a one-time box at $34.95. Regardless of how you order, you never pay any shipping fee, which only adds to the beauty of what they have to offer. Do check out this beauty subscription service out and evolve into a prettier, more polished YOU!

Review: Blush Mystery Beauty Box July 2014

Blush Mystery Beauty Box July 2014.jpeg
Blush Mystery Beauty Box July 2014

For the past few months, I have been reviewing Blush Mystery Beauty Boxes and have discovered some exciting new makeup and skin and hair care treasures that now have turned into beauty staples.

What is so wonderful about this monthly beauty and makeup subscription service is that their panel of beauty experts has a sharp eye for finding the best products.  Furthermore, each box always has at least $100 worth of makeup, skin and hair care products from luxury brands for just $24.95 a month.  If you don't want to make a commitment, you can pay $34.95 for a one time purchase.

As always, Blush Mystery Beauty Box came through with another impressive assortment with this month’s bundle of beauty goodies.  Here is what I found once I explored the contents of that familiar black bag.

July 2014 Blush Mystery Beauty Box:

1.  Great Barrier Island Bee Co. Manuka Honey Intensive Hand and Nail Cream–(1-oz. travel size )–$6

2.  Julien Farel Haircare Zero Frizz Restore (Curly & Frizzy)–FULL SIZE–$33

3.  Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Alpha Beta Daily Face Peel--Original Formula Packette–$3

4.  Cattiva Cosmetics Waterproof Automatic Lip Liner (Dolce Diva)–FULL SIZE–$20

5.  Rouge Bunny Rouge Lip Gloss Gleaming Temptations–(Smother Me With Kisses 040) FULL SIZE–$23

6.  Smartfx SmartEye Wrinkle LiftFULL SIZE–$60

Total Value: $145

The Great Barrier Island Bee Co. hand and nail cream is something you can never have enough of.  This stuff smells nice, is fast absorbing, and does help soothe dry hands to make them soft again.

The Julien Farel Haircare Zero Frizz Restore is an unusual multitasking hair treatment that is recommended to use on dry hair to cleanse and condition. You concentrate the product at the roots and it will produce a low foaming lather that you leave on for a few minutes to allow the ingredients time to work before rinsing.  I think it did help tame my waves and curls and made them softer with more of a shine.  I will keep using this as a weekly treatment.

Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare packet of face peel is one that I have bought before. In fact, when I saw this packet in the bag, I was elated because it is practically the best peel that I have ever used–and the gentlest.  I would describe it like a bad skin eraser to refine the skin’s texture better than you can imagine.  With this little wipe, you can practically buff the pores away without redness and burning.

The Cattiva Cosmetics lip liner in Dolce Diva is a basic nude color that can adapt with a variety of shades or skin tones.  It was a bit drier in consistency, but it stayed put to and kept my gloss intact.

The Rouge Bunny Rouge gloss in Smother Me With Kisses was a shimmering raspberry-pink color with lots of shine and some gold to set it off.  Who can’t love that when it comes to dressing up your lips?

The Smartfx Smarteye Wrinkle Lift is a tinted eye cream and concealer in one.  The formula has “micro-fillers” for tightening fine wrinkles, puffiness, and under eyes bags.  I did not try it yet since I am currently testing another eye product. Soon, however, I am looking forward to trying it.

I think this was an awesome month for beauty lovers.  If you haven’t tried Blush Mystery Beauty Box, I highly recommend doing so because you always win with a fantastic value of products!
