Garden Botanika Twinkle Toes Sweet Mint Winter Gift Collection.jpeg
Garden Botanika Twinkle Toes Sweet Mint Winter Gift Collection

Our feet take a lot of abuse every day.  Just to look fashionable, we can wedge them into ill-fitting shoes, often torturing them or walk barefoot without thought as to the damage we do to our skin. The only way they fight back is with dry, rough heels, corns, and blisters.  I happen to think our hard-working feet deserve a little tender loving care to reward them for all that we put them through and Garden Botanika's Twinkle Toes Sweet Mint Winter Collection of foot care products is a great way to do it.

The first product I started applying was the Sweet Mint Foot Polish to clean, but still damp feet.  This is a gentle exfoliating cream with finely ground walnut shells for smoothing rough skin as well as ingredients like peppermint leaf extract and vanilla for a refreshing, cool feeling and scent.

I followed with the Sweet Mint Foot Spray to energize my tired feet up.  With peppermint and tea tree oil, this spray helped perk and  deodorize.

I finished my foot ritual with the Sweet Mint AHA Foot Treatment and then put on the Moisture Socks before bedtime.  This cream is rich in moisture from Shea and Cacao Seed butters besides fruits acids for additional exfoliation.

These products did treat my feet to some wonderful pampering and softer skin.  Anyone would notice a nice difference in their feet using this kit so do think of getting one for yourself or as holiday gifts.

This kit consists of Sweet Mint AHA Foot Treatment (4 oz.), Sweet Mint Foot Polish (4 oz.), Sweet Mint Foot Spray (4 oz.), and a pair of Moisture Socks.  Bought separately, you would pay $41 for all this.  With the holidays nearly here, Garden Botanika's Twinkle Toes Sweet Mint Winter Gift Collection is now specially priced at $29.50!

My Latest Fragrance Addictions! Garden Botanika's Four Custom Perfume Sprays Review + ($128) Giveaway! (4 Winners!)--Ends April 29, 2013

Disclaimer:  This post is based on free products  provided by a company as a press sample so that I may offer my own  opinion, which may be the same or differ from yours.

Garden Botanika's Four Custom Perfume Sprays.jpeg
Garden Botanika's Four Custom Perfume Sprays

Garden Botanika gives Spring a delightful welcome with the launch of their four new custom blended eau de parfum sprays--Pink Peppercorn, Pink Plumeria, Gimme Some Sugar, and Charmed.  Each one sent to me for this review and giveaway is uniquely stunning and brings a world of captivating fresh beauty that can only brighten your mood just as the return of nature's blooms and green!  In fact, I can't wait to tell you about them because they are truly special and deserve your attention.

If you're particularly passionate about yummy smelling gourmand fragrances, then you need to sample Gimme Some Sugar first.  This is sinfully loaded with sweet vanilla and creamy coconuts with swirls of rich caramel to pleasantly tease.  The artful combination lends a comforting touch to that luscious decadence.  As this eau de parfum dries down in the base and warms further with notes of musk and amber, the wearer becomes even more irresistible.  Softly seductive, this fragrance turns you into a tempting treat meant to be exquisitely savored.

Charmed comes from a completely different fragrance family.  This is a gorgeous fruity-floral that has a gentle serene quality and elegance about it.  Juicy grapefruit and red fruits open this scent as it prepares for the entrance of the star.  Those floral notes of the heart with muguet, white jasmine, and lily shine, moving with talent through this scent like a graceful prima ballerina.  With notes of musk, amber, and cedar, this eau de parfum ends with a warm and sophisticated finish.  Think of the base as when that ballerina takes her bows with the appreciative applause for her superb performance.

The boldest and most sensual of the group is Pink Peppercorn.  This is an uninhibited spicy, but earthy fragrance that dares with its sultry opening green notes.  The fragrance flirts with a confidence that keeps you guessing.  Once the pepper accord mixes with the amber and woods as it dries down, this fragrance mellows exquisitely rooting itself with romance and feminine appeal.

Last of all, there is one I covet even more with Garden Botanika's Pink Plumeria Eau de Parfum Spray.  Though it is classified as a fruity-floral, this is bursting with tropical floral and green that compliment the Plumeria blossoms perfectly.  Instant pleasure hits you upon experiencing this happy fragrance that greets with a lei of Plumeria flowers like a warm Hawaiian welcome.  As the sun goes down in this tropical paradise in the base, you experience a calm, romantic beauty from the white musk accord.

Whether your preference is gourmand, fruity, earthy, or floral, you will love these four new Garden Botanika custom scents for yourself or to gift your mother or wife with this Mother's Day.  The 3.38 fl. oz. eau de parfum spray retails for $32.  However, the company has a sweet price reduction on Pink Peppercorn, Pink Plumeria, Gimme Some Sugar, and Charmed Eau de Parfum Sprays for just $20 now until May 31, 2013.  Do plunk down for a bottle or several because these are beautiful fragrance bargains!

*Disclaimer:  This is my own honest opinion.  Free products were provided solely to facilitate this review.*

Garden Botanika's Warm Thoughts Almond Cream Gift Collection Review and Giveaway!--Ends December 5, 2012

Garden Botanika's Warm Thoughts Almond Cream Gift Collection.jpeg
Garden Botanika's Warm Thoughts Almond Cream Gift Collection

The moment I began unpacking the box that contained Garden Botanika's Warm Thoughts Almond Cream Gift Collection for this review and giveaway, I found a delectable sweetness wafting toward me as I pulled out that decorated container.  The Almond Cream aroma was so delicious and inviting, it reminded me of a particular Christmas cookie my grandmother used to make and that made me smile because I always associate the scent of almond with her.

Loosing myself in this Almond Cream fragrance soon became apparent the longer I examined this beautiful holiday gift set, which included two huge 16.9 fl. oz. sizes of that comforting scented  Almond Cream Body Cleanser and Body Lotion, a generous 6 fl. oz. Almond Cream Body Mist, and a hefty 3.5 oz. bar of Almond Cream Gentle Exfoliating Soap that came housed in and holiday prepped with festive packaging tied with a pink ribbon ready for gift giving.

Since I couldn't wait to play with those delectable smelling products, I grabbed everything and hurried to lock myself away in the bathroom.  I was in my element once I poured some of that yummy smelling Almond Cream Body Cleanser onto my sponge and began washing with that rich foam.  My tub had that delicious aroma of a bakery.

Then I looked at the Almond Cream Gentle Exfoliating Soap bar that I also had rested on the ledge of my tub.  I thought it would be an awesome way to stimulate circulation on the backside, legs, and feet so I rinsed my sponge and soaped up for the task.   You won't find any coarse feeling with this bar as you wash only a delicate brush against your skin with that same cookie like smell.

Before my skin would shrivel up from staying in that fragrant water too long, I forced myself up and dried.  Nonetheless, I could still keep that pleasing scent with me with some of the Almond Cream Body Lotion.  Smelling like a delicious human cookie, I increased my new irresistible appeal with a spritz of Almond Cream Body Mist that I had also on the vanity.  Now, I was smiling and looking forward to my guy's reaction once I finally emerged from my ritual.

Just as I suspected, he asked if I baked something today.  I shook my head and walked by him close enough that he might get a better whiff of sweet me.  He began laughing and teased whether I was product testing again before grabbing me around the waist so he could get a better sample for research purposes, of course.

Garden Botanika has such an amazing variety of fragrances and natural skin care that I thought were beautiful, including this tempting  Warm Thoughts Almond Cream Gift Collection, which I also cherished.   Guys, this is a great gift choice at $45 to give your lady this holiday season.   If sold separately, these products would sell for $63. Think of it as a treat to yourself with her wearing that Almond Cream scent of yummy almond cookie for you to enjoy!

Thanks to Garden Botanika, one lucky Nuts 4 Stuff reader in the United States or Canada wins a Warm Thoughts Almond Cream Gift Collection (16.9 fl. oz. Almond Cream Body Cleanser, 16.9 fl. oz. Almond Cream Body Lotion, 6 fl. oz. Almond Cream Body Mist, and the 3.5 Almond Cream Gentle Exfoliating Bar ($63 value)!

Garden Botanika Pre-Mixed Perfumes (Balance, Joy to The Girl, and Sweet Violet) Review + Giveaway! (3 Winners!)--Ends September 14, 2012

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Garden Botanika Pre-Mixed Perfumes.jpeg
Garden Botanika Pre-Mixed Perfumes

Heart happens to be Garden Botanika's best-selling perfume.  I must admit that the fragrance is quite exquisite, but I truly think the company's other pre-mixed perfume blends should not be overlooked such as three extraordinary ones I tested for this review and giveaway of Sweet Violet, Balance, and Joy to The Girl.

Sweet Violet is the most intense of the trio with violet, mimosa, and rose awakened to the freshness of the bergamot that cuts the sweetness of the romantic floral notes delightfully, giving this fragrance bouquet an irresistible allure and sense of sophistication until musk turns this hypnotic blend warm and sensual with undeniable appeal.  This stunning perfume has dimension and character as its layers unfold to captivate like a good book that you can't put down.

Elegant and very feminine, Joy to The Girl is light and a sparkling floral that comes alive with beautiful notes of orange, white jasmine, cherry blossom, and rose.  Think of a warm sunny day as you walk through a garden with a slight breeze stirring the surroundings with greens and woods.  This blend is pure romance in a bottle.  And the longer you linger, the more you feel the heat as you pick up the sexy warmth of the woods and musk merging together to give this fragrance its ever so romantic bewitching quality.

Graceful beauty is the first word that comes to mind when I think of Balance.  Of this threesome, this Eau de Parfum is the gentlest of floral scents as it whispers to you in a soft refined voice with orchid, jasmine, and magnolia from the delicate balance.  Amber vanilla is the warmth behind this romantic essence to make it truly memorable and utterly feminine.

I had never expected such overwhelming beauty, but there it was in these three pre-mixed blends.  Honestly, I was very impressed and highly recommend these.  As you can probably guess, Sweet Violet stole my heart with its complexity and how it bloomed to life.  Yet, Joy to The Girl was just as glorious only in a different way that also left a lasting impression.  Nonetheless, the serene notes of Balance were also hauntingly lovely like a pleasant dream you want to recapture from how softly it touches you.

I definitely will be trying more of these fabulous pre-mixed perfume blends!  If you're unsure as to what scent would suit you the best, I suggest test drive any of their pre-mixed perfumes in a 0.17 fl. trial size for only $3.50!

Garden Botanika Advanced Anti-Aging Treatments & Calming Moisturizer Review + Giveaway!--Ends March 26, 2012

Garden Botanika Advanced Anti-Aging Face and Eye Treatments & Calming Moisturizer.jpeg
Garden Botanika Advanced Anti-Aging Treatments & Calming Moisturizer

Taking better care of your skin now can make a difference later.  If you're like me and strive to keep those signs of aging at bay, then I have some interesting products to share with you that I recently tested from the natural skin care experts at Garden Botanika.

The first product I want to tell you about is their Advanced Anti-Aging Face Treatment.  This is full of beneficial skin-helping ingredients such as carrot root extract to deliver carotene and vitamin E to help cell turnover plus argireline, algae extract, and hyaluronic acid.

I have been using this wrinkle fighter that came in a pump bottle for nearly two weeks now.  The first few days I didn't notice too much until several more passed.  Then, I watched the dullness fade and the fine wrinkles seemed to be lessening more each day of use.

Over this Advanced Anti-Aging Face Treatment, I applied their Calming Daily Moisturizer.  Anyone with sensitive skin would especially appreciate how gentle this formula is with green tea, lavender flower,  licorice root and padina pavonica (marine algae) in a convenient pump bottle.   I found my skin responded beautifully to this light weight lotion and was comfortable while this fast-absorbing formula hydrated exceptionally well.

Next, I applied their Advanced Anti-Aging Eye Treatment to my clean face.  This was loaded with skin nutrients for the area such as arginine, red wine polyphenols, green tea extract, algae extract, and argireline to defend and lessen the appearance of fine lines.  In addition, this satiny cream has nourishing moisture from shea butter, ceramides, jojoba seed oil and hyaluronic acid to promote  younger, brighter skin around the eyes.

I liked the consistency of this rich eye treatment.  My eye makeup was easier to apply and I didn't have any problems with it being too greasy or sticky as some eye creams can be.  It takes  several days to notice how nicely those fine lines seem to lessen, but the longer I use this cream the brighter the area and more youthful my eyes seem to look.

As I wrote in a previous post, I am amazed at the wonders of what seaweed and algae can do to begin with when it comes to helping the skin besides excellent other ingredients such as hyaluronic acid and arginine among the rest.

In my opinion, these three Garden Botanika products are a great way to rescue your complexion with tender loving care for a younger looking complexion.   I think if you're looking for a new skin care solution to help combat those wrinkles or deal with sensitivity, then you need to look into ordering these products.

Thanks to Garden Botanika, one lucky Nuts 4 Stuff reader in the United States or Canada wins an Advanced Anti-Aging Face Treatment ($32), Advanced Anti-Aging Eye Treatment ($30), and a Calming Daily Moisturizer ($20) for a total value of ($82)!

Garden Botanika Holiday Prime Time Collection Review and Giveaway!--Ends December 10, 2011

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Garden Botanika Holiday Prime Time Collection.jpeg
Garden Botanika Holiday Prime Time Collection

When Garden Botanika asked if I wanted to review and giveaway their new Holiday Prime Time Collection, I welcomed the opportunity to test out their four- piece set of primers to keep your makeup intact.  I was curious about what sort of improvement I would notice.

The kit includes their best selling "She's Prepped" Mineral Foundation Primer, a Lash Primer, Shadow Primer, and a Lip Scrub.  These four arrive in a perky green cosmetic case with a protective plastic lining in case of spills.

I was shocked at how using "She's Prepped" Mineral Foundation Primer seemed to work so much better than any moisturizer under my makeup.  This product seemed to mask my pores more to create a smoother surface because when I applied foundation my complexion was void of even the tiniest of flaws.

The Shadow Primer was so wonderful for keeping mineral eye shadow beautiful without creasing for longer periods of time.

The Lip Scrub was next for me to test.  After I put some on, I applied some lipstick that usually faded into my skin after about an hour.  I only kept this tube because it was such a pretty color that I liked to wear with one particular outfit.   Nonetheless, it was a pain to constantly need to repair my lips when I wore it.  However, I am happy to report that once I tried their Lip Scrub, I didn't have that same problem.  My lip color was still on my lips all morning until lunch without any signs of bleeding.

I thought the Lash Primer worked nicely thickening and lengthening my lashes considerably.   What else was great was how it kept my non-waterproof mascara in place.  I wore it all day and didn't have any flaking or smudging, even when I forgot I was wearing mascara, and rubbed my eyes.

I really think these products are worth the extra little bit of time it takes to add them to your beauty routine.  Honestly, you will see an amazing difference in your skin's surface and smoothness that makeup will adhere better.  This set would make an amazing holiday gift for any woman!

*Disclaimer:  This is my own honest opinion.  No money was exchanged.  All I received were free products to facilitate this review.*

Thanks to Garden Botanika, one lucky Nuts 4 Stuff reader in the United States or Canada wins the same fabulous set below:

She will feel so pampered lathering  in spa-like luxury with the 8 fl. oz. Body Wash in the exquisite  fragrance of Heart that contains hydrating panthenol, yucca, comfrey, and calendula.

Afterwards, your special someone can moisturize with nourishing botanicals to scent and soften in style in a rich, silky cover of Heart with the 8 fl. oz. Body Lotion.

For those times she wants a sheer version of the scent, that lucky lady has a 6 fl. oz. Heart Body Mist to layer over the lotion or wear by itself.

Then again, she might decide the 3.38 fl. oz. Heart Eau de Parfum Spray is more what she wants to use to make her feel her absolute best.

Finally, she has the strongest form of the fragrance she chooses to wear with the new 0.5 Heart  Solid Stick Perfume.  She will love the lasting power in this one.

The lucky recipient will delight in this gift from the snowflake adorned container to the treasures inside.  She will feel like a princess in a soft, yet sexy scent with everything she needs to keep that happiness going long after the holidays!

As you can guess, I really loved this collection because it was so feminine, very functional, and a healthier choice to apply coming from the natural skin care and cosmetics experts at Garden Botanika.  Any woman on your holiday shopping list would be thrilled to find this set under her Christmas tree!

Garden Botanika Mineral Makeup Review and Giveaway!--Ends August 9, 2011

Garden Botanika Mineral Makeup concealer, concealer brush, lip & cheek stain and mineral eyeshadows.jpeg
Garden Botanika Mineral Makeup

As you all have noticed, I have been experimenting with mineral makeup.  I love that these products are natural without tons of possibly dangerous chemicals seeping into my skin compared to traditional cosmetics.  This time I got a chance to review and do a giveaway of some excellent  mineral makeup products from the natural beauty care experts at Garden Botanika.

I wanted to try their "She's Flawless" Mineral Concealer, a Concealer Brush, their Cherry Lip & Cheek Stain, and "She's a Natural" Baked Mineral Eyeshadows

Once my package arrived, I didn't know where to start because each looked so beautiful in their case, gleaming like rich, precious jewels.  However, I had to start somewhere so I decided to take out that nice sized concealer brush and dip it into their "She's Flawless" Mineral Concealer.  This product comes in one shade, which is just perfect.  Better yet, is how easily the angled big brush grabbed onto the pressed concealer and worked to apply coverage that vanquished my dark circles.

Next, I took out their Cherry Lip & Cheek Stain and appreciated how economical this convenient product was since it saved a consumer time and money as both a  coordinated blush and lip color in one!  The color was incredible as well.  It was more of a deep brick red (brown-red) that blended into my complexion effortlessly with sheer healthy radiance.  I also applied some to my lips and loved how this exquisite sheer color matched and felt on my lips.

The "She's a Natural" Baked Mineral Eyeshadows compact was a blast to play with.  I chose the Bronze Trio and was delighted in the striking coordinated shades.  This set went on like velvet, and really adorned my dark brown eyes in a magnificent way with such richness.

I truly believe Garden Botanika is a great company to investigate and loved everything I tried from them so far from this mineral makeup, eye cream to their perfume.  Check out their specials for great bargains or join the Garden Club for additional savings with each order.  As for myself,  I just can't wait until I discover another new fantastic product in their fine line of products.

Thanks to Garden Botanika, one lucky Nuts 4 Stuff reader in the United States or Canada wins the same full sizes of the Lip & Cheek Stain in Cherry, the "She's Flawless" Mineral Concealer, and the Concealer Brush ($42 value)!

Garden Botanika Tea Rose Eau De Parfum.jpeg
Garden Botanika Tea Rose Eau De Parfum
Whether you're young, old, middle-aged, beautiful, average, or on the plain side, the best cosmetic you can rely on to transform you into the most elegant diva in the room is when you wear the perfect perfume like the one Garden Botanika sent me for this review.

Their Tea Rose Eau De Parfum Spray is a romantic delight to wear, besides one of Garden Botanika's custom single note fragrances.  This long lasting perfume will warm your heart just like it did mine because it surrounds, not overwhelms you in the intoxicating beauty of tea roses.

If you prefer other scents, Garden Botanika does not disappoint you.  Their single notes are divided into musks, cool & crisp, warm & spicy, fruits as well as other single floral choices.  You can mix your own perfume from up to three different fragrance notes to form a total of six parts.

Another option is trying one of their pre-mixed blends.

What  is even nicer is this company offers a $3.50 deal to test drive a fragrance in  0.17 fl. oz. size for those unsure what scent would be best to choose.

Thanks to Garden Botanika, one lucky Nuts 4 Stuff reader in the United States or Canada wins a bottle of their own Tea Rose Eau De Parfum Spray in the 3.38 fl. oz. size ($32 value)!

Garden Botanika Always Ageless Revitalizing Eye Cream Review & Giveaway!--Ends April 8, 2011

Garden Botanika Always Ageless Revitalizing Eye Cream.jpeg
Garden Botanika Always Ageless Revitalizing Eye Cream
**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Maybe you thought you were doomed to live with those dark circles and puffy eyes because it comes with age.  Yet, I got to test a new eye cream for Garden Botanika and am glad to report I saw a difference to help with that problem.

I was sent their new Always Ageless Revitalizing Eye CreamGarden Botanika uses caffeine and algae extract plus a blend of vitamins and botanicals to kick start this cream into action.  There are no parabens, glycols, sulfates, phthalates, artificial fragrances or dyes either to cause irritation.

I used this gentle eye cream for nearly a week and each day noticed a little bit more improvement in the appearance of my under eye skin.  The skin in that area was thoroughly moisturized, smoother, and somewhat lighter than usual while the tiny wrinkles seemed to fade.  Sounds almost too good to be true, but Always Ageless Revitalizing Eye Cream is an amazing product that now has a permanent spot on my vanity.

Honestly, I never tried any Garden Botanika products before this review.  However, I think this company is worth investigating further with how pleased I was with their Always Ageless Revitalizing Eye Cream!

Connect with Garden Botanika on Facebook.

*This is my own, honest opinion.  No money was exchanged.  All I received was a free product to review.*

Thanks to the generosity of Garden Botanika, one lucky Nuts 4 Stuff reader wins an Always Ageless Revitalizing Eye Cream ($30) of their own!
