Since I am always on the prowl for anything to keep my complexion youthful and glowing, I was excited to hear about another advancement in the anti-aging frontier from natural skin care brand, Jurlique, when I was contacted to test their new Herbal Recovery Advanced Serum.  I had reviewed some of their line and really liked the outcome on my skin.

The ingredients include Jurlique's exclusive Naturadiance PB18+ complex, which after a few weeks of use, I can tell you can create a new beginning for your complexion with what its groundbreaking formula can achieve once those eighteen botanical extracts, vitamins, and fatty acids come in contact with your skin.  

Though I do have a pretty complexion, this very gentle and fast absorbing serum kept refining the surface and shrinking my pores fairly quickly in about ten days using this product, mornings and nights. 

My skin felt soothed and totally hydrated as well from this fragrant floral scented serum.  In fact, I had to closely examine my complexion daily with how my skin was blooming before my eyes.  After every application, I found my skin transformed with such softness, a nearly perfect texture, and radiance that it practically took my breath away.

This serum did help improve the look of fine lines.  Unfortunately, my two deeper wrinkles by my cheeks have plumped slightly, but they are still visible.  Nonetheless, I am a fan of Jurlique's Herbal Recovery Advanced Serum  and will religiously use it now that I am aware of its awesome capabilities.

I really do have very nice skin except for a mark left from a pimple in addition to some fine creases and two deeper wrinkles.  When I reviewed Jurlique's Purely Bright Cleanser, I really thought that product was excellent for helping with another mark I believed was caused from the sun.  I was very impressed with that product; however, I fell head over heels in love with what their Purely Bright Radiance Serum did for my skin next!

This is a potent serum that when used daily moisturizes while it brilliantly helps fade dark marks before your eyes.  With ingredients like hyaluronic acid, turmeric extract, calendula extract, and Jurlique's exclusive VitaBrightKX formula of kakadu plum extract, citrus unshiu peel extract, African Birch extract, and vitamin C, this is a safer alternative without hydroquinine for lightening.  Trust me, this will amaze you how it will even out your complexion and renew skin radiance.

Despite using this product for a month now, I saw a gorgeous change quite soon.  With just a few times that I applied Purely Bright Radiance Serum my mark was hardly visible.  I couldn't imagine how glowing my complexion began to look.  Every time I gave myself another dose brought me closer to skin perfection until I gained a prettier texture and beautiful clarity.

Can you imagine a product that takes makeup and grime of the day away easily while pampering your skin and gradually brightening the surface of your face at the same time?  What I am describing sounds almost too good to be true, yet it is how I found Jurlique's Purely Bright Cleanser to work on my complexion when I regularly used it.

This is a gentle creamy emulsion that turns into a light, fragrant foam that rinses away.   What makes this product special for multitasking  is Jurlique's VitaBrightKx mix of natural ingredients for brightening and anti-aging that includes Kakadu plum extract, citrus unshiu peel extract, African Birch extract, and vitamin C while willow bark extract and pumice for tenderly exfoliating as it cleans.

My face began improving in tone and texture in a relatively short period of habitually using this mornings and nights.  I have been using this cleanser for many weeks now and am amazed at seeing continual progress, especially with a small mark I had on my cheek and overall tone that is more radiant.

An Absolute Must-Have! Jurlique's Skin Balancing Face Oil Review

Although my skin is dry, it does change somewhat in the summer, where I can occasionally get a pimple.  My nose gets oily as well, but my chin and forehead are fine.  Therefore, I would not label this combination skin.  Nonetheless, I feel more lightweight moisturizers are better choices for me during hot weather to prevent any skin problem.

When Jurlique kindly provided a box of skin care for me to review, I had a bottle of their Skin Balancing Face Oil among the products.  My first thought was an oil would probably be too heavy now until I read the description on the package.  Advertised as a lightweight treatment to help hydrate but also with anti-aging, I knew this was the perfect product to start using.

This product has nourishing evening primrose, rose hip, safflower, avocado, jojoba, and macadamia seed oils for moisturizing and softening the appearance of fine lines along with shea butter.

After I washed my face, I left my skin slightly damp before I was going to apply the oil.  I  took a cotton ball and measured out about two drops.  To my amazement, my skin seemed to drink this up without a greasy appearance.  In fact, my complexion hurt because I was in the sun, but this felt incredibly soothing and made my skin baby soft. 

I did try this oil initially without leaving my skin damp after washing.  Applying a few drops this way gives your skin more of an oily shine, but leaving your skin slightly damp avoids that from happening.  This is a trick I found that works the best with oily serums.

I didn't bother adding an additional moisturizer on top mornings and nights.  The only exception was after my face got too much sun.  To me, this oil provided all the moisture I needed.  

I haven't been using the Skin Balancing Face Oil all that long.  Yet, it has been wonderful to my complexion for the restorative benefits it has shown me because my skin is smoother, hydrated, and glowing.  

I am so impressed with Jurlique's Skin Balancing Face Oil for the radiance it has brought to my face and simply love this stuff.  Give this product about a week or ten days and you will also have a prettier reflection in your mirror as well!

I am a firm believer in the power of skin refining products to renew the beauty of your complexion.  After all, you can't expect more luminous and younger looking skin if you allow old cells to dull the surface.  With the help of products like exfoliating scrubs, masks, and peels, you pave the way to healthier skin by generating new cells with better texture, clarity, and smoothness.  

When a new box of Jurlique natural skin care arrived, I was thrilled to see one product was a refining scrub. Their Purely Age-Defying Refining Treatment is unlike some others I have used in the past.  Instead of being a heavily grainy consistency with coarse polishing beads that can sometimes tear up your skin in spots if you work it too much, this product is gentler with more finely milled beads in a creamier base.   

Furthermore, it has a pleasant, but light herbal smell from apricot seed powder, willow bark extract, natural bisabolol and calendula that come sealed to best preserve the integrity of those ingredients.

According to the directions, you only need to use a pearl-size amount on your washed and still damp face.   Honestly, I didn't think such a tiny bit could work, but it was enough to give me an overall glow without any tightness or discomfort.  

What I really liked in addition to the kinder buffing  about Jurlique's version was how much moisture this product also brought to my skin in the process.  This made my face so soft and hydrated while it even toned and made my pores look smaller as well.

I really the results I got with this product and will continue using it once a week. Those that have sensitive skin and had trouble with exfoliating scrubs can rest assured that this one is a safe bet.   

Despite how gentle a formula is, I advise no more than twice a week using exfoliation products because skin needs time to rebuild.

Soothe Your Skin With Jurlique's Calendula Cream (Review)

Our skin can tend to betray us when we least anticipate a problem.  The countless ingredients in products can cause an allergic reaction, too much sun exposure can be painful to our skin, or going overboard with treatments such as exfoliation or strong products to fight acne are just some ways our complexions can suffer.  

When you find yourself in this fix, you want relief fast to get your skin back to normal.  The next time this may happen to you, I think you'll be interested to hear my thoughts on Jurlique's Calendula Cream because this is as gentle as can be.

My skin has been gaining a beautiful smoothness that is practically void of pores until something caused it suddenly to get irritated.   What happened was my face got red and blotchy.  Honestly, I was not sure what I was going to put on my hurting skin without making matters worse.  

Then I remembered the next box of Jurlique skin care waiting yet to be reviewed.  I vaguely recalled a product that may be able to help, if my memory served me correctly.

Sure enough, Jurlique's Calendula Cream was designed for comforting, irritated skin while moisturizing--and I sighed in relief.  

After I washed my face in tepid water, I patted dry but not completely.  I squeezed a small amount of the Calendula Cream on my fingers.  According to the directions, you rub this cream to warm it first.  This helps transform that thick greasiness into a creamy consistency that my skin drank up quickly.  This product felt soothing and made my skin more comfortable.

I used this mornings and nights following the same ritual.  Luckily by Sunday, there was no more redness.  My skin was responding well with a dewy freshness to those botanical extracts when I examined it closely that night.  

The formula  includes witch hazel and spilanthes for their astringent qualities along with soothing calendula in addition to aloe vera extract, evening primrose, macadamia, avocado and safflower oils for their moisturizing benefits.

This really is good stuff that you will appreciate dearly when you have an issue.  In the future, I am going to keep a tube of Jurlique Calendula Cream on hand when I run out because you never know what tomorrow can bring.  Anyway, I think this will be a keeper for my dry skin for extreme cold weather as well.

I don't know about you, but I adjust my skin care routine whenever my complexion speaks silently with any signs of distress.  The seasons, stress, illness to even a change in my diet can be responsible for whether I need a heavier or lighter moisturizer.  

Typically though, I go with a more lightweight moisturizer for daytime like Jurlique's Purely Sun Defying Moisturizer with SPF 15 that was sent to me to review.  Sit back because I think you will be eager to hear why this just might be the daytime moisturizer you have been hunting for. 

First off, I love the fact this product has red algae extract as an ingredient, which is amazing in my experience for its anti-aging properties and was extremely gentle at the same time. 

This moisturizer also has buriti oil for keeping the skin hydrated while improving elasticity as it repaired environmental damage without coating your face with any heavy, greasy appearance.  I thought the formula felt ultra-rich but such a wonderful light consistency that absorbed nicely. 

Furthermore, this comes with sun protection from three different sources like ectoin for helping to combat photo-aging besides zinc oxide and titanium dioxide for UV rays.

In the weeks that I have been using this moisturizer, I can say that my finer wrinkles do look firmer and my complexion is certainly smoother.  Nonetheless, the two deeper ones by the cheeks and mouth are still there, but they do appear somewhat more filled in than when I started. 

As I mentioned in an earlier post, I never tried Jurlique's products before I was sent an assortment to test out.  However, I keep becoming more impressed with every new one that I have been working with.  I know that I will be exploring more of their line in the future.

This moisturizer sells for $58 for the 1.4 oz. size.  If you searching for a new lightweight and anti-aging moisturizer that is kind even to sensitive skin, then you should look into picking Jurlique's Purely Sun Defying Moisturizer with SPF 15 because you won't be disappointed!

Jurlique's Purely Age-Defying Ultra Firm and Lift Cream

As I have explained earlier, I have been testing an assortment of products over a long period of weeks from those natural skin care experts at Jurlique.  Today, I want to fill you in on the exciting discovery I made with their Purely Age-Defying Ultra Firm and Lift Cream.

The product uses powerful plant based amino acid (DPHP), rock samphire and beech tree bud extracts, along with vitamin C among other select ingredients to firm, lift, and moisturize as well as brighten the complexion in a formula that helps skin regenerate elastin, collagen, and new skin cells.

As you can imagine, I couldn't wait to get started to see if that cream did, indeed, live up to those claims. 
The first few days of use quenched my dry skin with wonderful moisture and left it feeling as smooth as velvet without any irritation. 

I didn't see immediate improvement on the wrinkle front at first.  However, I gradually saw beautiful changes as more time passed with regular use of this cream.  My complexion definitely looked brighter after the first week.  Over the following two weeks, I found how more refined the texture of my skin appeared.  And yet, I still see much difference with filling in those creases--that is until a few more weeks into my testing (around the fifth or sixth week--and then, wow)! 

At this point, I was thrilled with what this cream did for me.  I had a  small discolored spot on cheek that I couldn't find anymore, along with a new overall glow.  The tiny creases around my eyes did seem to somehow seal up while the two deeper wrinkles at the sides of cheeks were still there, but hardly as prominent. 

Jurlique's Purely Age-Defying Ultra Firm and Lift Cream is definitely a keeper in my book.  I plan to restock this once I finish my cream.   The 1.7 oz. jar retails for $70, but it does last.  Do look into this one because it does give such amazing results!

Today, I want to tell you about what I think of Jurlique's Herbal Recovery Night Cream in this continuing review of their natural skin care products that the company sent me to evaluate.   As I mentioned, I have been putting those items through a vigorous period of testing more than five weeks now and want to clue you into my findings.

What's interesting about this antioxidant night cream is that it uses moth bean extract to replicate the effect of commercial retinol for improving skin texture for increased radiance and protecting from environmental damage.   Other botanicals such as African birch and Kakadu plum are included in this formula to work on those fine lines and aid in returning elasticity and firmness to the skin as well as  moisturize.

First, you should know this cream has a luxurious consistency to the touch.  What you immediately notice besides its beautiful flowery smell is how quickly this product absorbs into your skin.  Sometimes, my dry skin can be sensitive, but this cream was extremely gentle without being too greasy or sticky.

Over the weeks of use, I did notice my face had increased softness plus appeared brighter with fewer visible pores.  In addition, this night cream did see to work on some fine lines very well, but had less impact on deeper wrinkles.  

The best thing about this Jurlique Herbal Recovery Night Cream was how it let the skin breathe while repairing aging problems and boosting moisture in a lightweight formula that feels like a safer natural alternative to me than countless chemicals in the traditional commercial version. The 1.7 oz. jar retails for $48 and goes a long way. 

If you care about what sinks through your pores like I do and are looking for a great anti-aging cream, then I definitely think you should look into this product! 

Jurlique Citrus Purifying Mist (Review) to Awaken Your Complexion!

When I found the Citrus Purifying Mist that was among the natural skin care products I was sent from Jurlique, I was skeptical at first.  The reason I was concerned was that this mist is advertised to rebalance oiliness.  Since I am on the dry side, I was wondering how this might play out on my skin.   And then, I went ahead and gave it a try.

Wow!  The first thing that awaited me was the most pleasant burst of lemony freshness once I sprayed my freshly washed face with an invigorating blast of this mist like I was treated to some aromatherapy as well.  The soothing mix of lemon and tangerine oils, witch hazel, vitamin E and C, glycerin, aloe vera and grapefruit seed among other skin pleasing botanicals really felt comforting even to someone with dry skin like mine.  What else I loved was how this mist lightly hydrated my complexion as it toned and kept it velvety.  

Whether you use this before your moisturizer and makeup, setting your makeup or for a great way to refresh stale makeup when you're in a rush, you will be surprised at how nicely this product works regardless of your skin type. 

Seriously, I even tested this Citrus Purifying Mist without following up with my moisturizer and my face still felt good with adequate moisture.   I would love to try their Rose Mist one day, which is geared more for dry skin and see how that compares because this one is impressive.

My suggestion is to try Jurlique's Citrus Purifying Mist because it is gentle enough and does work even on dry skin!

Jurlique Balancing Foaming Cleanser Review

Although I have heard many wonderful things about Jurlique and their natural skin care products, I never tried any until I was asked if I would be willing to review some.  Since beautiful skin is a constant quest of mine, of course, I accepted this new challenge and will be filling you in regarding the products sent to me that I have been using for five weeks now.

Today, I want to introduce you to Jurlique's Balancing Foaming Cleanser.  In my opinion, the perfect cleanser is a combination of mildness and hydration regardless of your skin type.  And if it foams and is easy to wash away without leaving impurities and makeup residue behind, then I am happy.  Yet, I am even more ecstatic if I find those same necessary properties in a natural skin care product like I did in this particular cleanser.

Using the best of nature with ingredients like calendula, daisy, peppermint, vitamins, ginseng root, rose hip oil, and marshmallow, this cleanser cares for delicate skin without stripping away skin's oils to clean and return moisture in the process.  

Another nice thing about this cleanser is that it pumps out and requires only a small amount to do a thorough cleaning of dissolving grime and stubborn makeup.

I really loved the dual skin care effect from this Jurlique product.  You will find a great cleanser plus toner that leaves skin a bit more moisturized than you may expect.  I do recommend Jurlique's Balancing Foaming Cleanser!
