Not Your Mother’s Whip It Up Cream Styling Mousse Review

Not Your Mother’s Whip It Up Cream Styling Mousse.jpeg
Not Your Mother’s Whip It Up Cream Styling Mousse

I was chosen by Influenster as one of the people that received the Spice VoxBox of beauty and food products to review.  Among the group was one hair styling aid from Not Your Mother’s brand called Whip It Up Cream Styling Mousse.

Before finding it in this box, I had never heard of the brand before.  However, I thought this Whip It Up Cream Styling Mousse made for a wonderful introduction.

I do use a lot of mousse products to pump up my curls when styling.  This one came out with the most delectable vanilla cake scent ever.  It also had a different texture of being a thicker, whipped cream consistency than a typical puffy handful of mousse.

I do have thick hair with some layers through it.  This mousse did help build up my curls and provided some decent control, but I did have to use a bit more than my current brand.  Nonetheless, I really thought it did a great job on my hair at an inexpensive drugstore price.

You can find Not Your Mother’s Whip It Cream Styling Mousse at the company’s website, Target, Walgreen’s or Amazon.

Keune Six Hair Styling Products Assortment Review + ($116) Giveaway!–Ends June 25, 2015

Disclaimer: This post is based on a free product provided by a company as a press sample so that I may offer my own opinion, which may be the same or differ from yours.

Keune Hair six styling products.jpeg
Keune six styling products!

We all know the grief that comes when our hair doesn’t do as we want.  Sometimes, you wonder how it always seems to disappoint you when you most need it to look good.  If you want the upper hand when it comes to maintaining the hairstyle that you’re after, then your best bet is with professional hair products like the six stylers that I have been using from Keune for this review and giveaway.

Those with natural waves and curls or anyone really wanting more texture would have to fall in love with Keune’s Shaping Fibers as I did.  This orange scented stuff gave great and lasting definition to my curls with a tremendous shine and even helped provide a bit of lift for my side bang, which is a feat in itself without being overly sticky or greasy when used sparingly.  Too much though of this product will make your hair too oily looking.

Keune Mousse Styling Forte is perfect for anyone really for how it can volumize while adding a gorgeous shine from jojoba oil and reliable hold while remaining touchable.

I do have a problem with forceful, down-growing hair that constantly tests my patience. Keeping my long bangs out of my face can sometimes be a challenge, especially when you are trying to grow them out. Keune Power Paste, however, is up to the task!  I can now continue growing them out because this is powerful stuff enough that I could mold some edgy shape into my hair, if so inclined.  It won’t leave any shine or make hair feel weighed down with a product like expected for something this strong when you don't use too much.

On a different occasion, I put the Keune Forming Wax to the test.  I liked this product’s strength and flexible hold from beeswax for holding up to humid weather.  I was caught in the rain and worried what my hair would look like, but I just combed and my style stayed in tact.

I do prefer non-aerosol hairsprays like the Keune Graphic Hairspray because the aerosol variety sometimes can be hard to spray out before you use too much of the can.  This one was really nice.  It dries fairly quickly and freezes the hair in place with beautiful gloss thanks to its vitamin B5.  This product has UV protection just like the others above, which is wonderful for the warmer days ahead and summer sun.

I am becoming quite taken with this company with each new product I experiment with because they do perform.  Now depending on how I want to wear my hair, I can be more confident of the style that  I’m going for just by switching one of these salon styling products for another.  Try these Keune stylers and you will see that I was right about all the styling freedom you’ll gain!

Keune So Pure Moisture Balance Six Styling Products (Review) and ($105) Giveaway!–Ends March 3, 2015

*Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**
Keune So Pure Moisture Balance Six Styling Products.jpeg
Keune So Pure Moisture Balance Six Styling Products

Can you imagine anything more wonderful than natural hair products with aromatherapy like benefits? Knowing that not only are they are healthier to put on your head with 100% plant ingredients and essential oils, but are ones that also manage to keep your hair perfectly styled the way you like may sound too good to be true.  But until you try Keune So Pure Moisture Balance styling products that I just finished testing, then you can’t appreciate the marvelous changes they can do for both your hair and spirit!

The first product that I want to tell you about is Keune’s So Pure Molding Mud.  With this fragrant fruity stuff to add more texture, I found how easily I could transform a drooping hair style and build in more volume without starting over.  I also was impressed how it seemed to condition and left some shine in the hair with its organic argan and essential oils and shea butter. Furthermore, I also liked the flexible movement with medium hold that it provided.

I use a lot of mousse products.  Therefore, I wanted to see how So Pure Air Foam Spray would perform. This delicious smelling orange scented foam will please you to no end with how it styled and puffed out my hair to maximize the volume without being overly sticky.   Also, I liked how it held my hair in place with strong, but touchable hold that you can brush and still maintain your style.  Best of all, this stuff doesn’t seem to weigh your hair down after continual use like some that make you run for the clarifying shampoo.

With the So Pure Curl Enhancer, I found that this cream-lotion did not let the layers fall flat.  Instead, this product coaxed out my natural curl with just slight hold while nurturing my tresses with vitamins, organic argan oil and essential oils, contributing some moisture and nice gloss, judging by the feel as well.

I thought the So Pure Star Shaper was also a wonderful cream styler, especially for managing my long, feathered bangs in keeping them to the side and off of my face with a strong, but flexible hold.  The product with its organic palmarosa, orange and organic argan oils also really turned on the shine.  This does not leave the hair feeling hard and tacky either for something that has this much hair control and lasts without disappointing you.

The So Pure Modulation Gel was one of my favorites for my bang area as well.  As I mentioned previously, I have down-growing hair at the crown that always gives me a hard time.  What I loved about this gel was it also took care of this problem hair and lasted in controlling it even after periodic brushing throughout the day.  More often than not, I usually find my bangs eventually falling after several hours and land up with half to the side and the other on my forehead.  Both this and the Star Shaper seemed to manage this area better than I am used to.

The So Pure Texture Spray is a non-aerosol hair spray that you also would love because it does what you want plus it delivers a fantastic shine, strong hold and allows to restyle later so hair falls beautifully back in place.  This formula also has green ingredients and vitamin A to strengthen the hair.

I don’t know how I missed  discovering Keune Hair Care for as long as I did, but I am thrilled with these So Pure products so much that I am definitely going to need more.  You don’t just have to take my word, go visit their website to learn more about these products and do buy. Only then, dear readers, will you be truly convinced about how much that you will come to depend on them too!

Bioken Enfanti Hydrating Shampoo, Treatment and Heat Silk Essence Review + ($57) Giveaway!–Ends January 5, 2015

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

All the hair products on the market make it confusing finding formulas that work the best for you.  Some great ones that I tried recently were Bioken’s Enfanti Hydrating Shampoo, Treatment, and Heat Silk Essence hair products.
Bioken Enfanti Hydrating Shampoo.jpeg
Bioken Enfanti Hydrating Shampoo
My hair is very dry and color-treated.  I usually rotate with a few different products and deep condition my hair at least once a month to maintain it.  What I do like about the Bioken Enfanti line is the formulations are powered through nature to revive the look and health of the hair.  My first experience was with their Enfanti Curly Shampoo and Conditioner, which was very good also.

As to the Enfanti Hydrating Shampoo, it is a color-safe formula enriched with an organic blend of herbs and therapeutic botanicals that gently cleanses as it moisturizes and conditions the hair.  Two of its beneficial ingredients are glycerin, being a humectant, to draw moisture to the hair and panthenol for shine and softness.

The Enfanti Treatment is what I applied afterward.  The ingredients include vitamins, bee propolis, proteins, and natural herbs to help damaged hair with new luster.  I thought it had a pleasant fragrance while I kept it on for thirty minutes before rinsing my freshly washed hair.  The company states only about three to five minutes, but I always keep my deep conditioners on longer, more like a half hour.
Bioken Enfanti Treatment.jpeg

Before I styled my hair, I tried some of the Enfanti Heat Silk Essence on my damp hair. On the back of bottle, a quarter size amount is suggested.  I have very thick, shoulder-length hair that needed just a bit more.

After I finished drying my hair and examined myself in the mirror, I thought my hair did look healthier with more gleam and softness.  I proclaim this Bioken Enfanti trio a winning combination in rescuing my hair.

Have you tried any of the Bioken Enfanti line?  Do check these products out because if they helped my hair, I think they can also do your hair some good too.

Now There’s No Excuse for Bad Hair! --Chroma Studio Hair Products Collection Has Arrived (Review)

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Chrome Studio Hair Products
Chrome Studio Hair Products.

Great hair and good looks are a winning combination.  You can’t have one without the other unless you know where to turn. If you want fabulous hair that looks like you just stepped out of a salon, then you need professional products like the collection that I have been using lately from Chroma Studio.

With the great results this stylist had beautifying clients in Hollywood, California, a collection was in order to make those salon treatments available for the rest of us. The line intended to correct dehydrated, brittle hair consists of seven color-safe products: Aqua Shampoo ($25), Aqua Conditioner ($26), Volume Heat Protection ($24), Sculpt ($24), Sculpt and Tone ($26), Shine ($24), and Control Hair Spray ($24).

The Aqua Shampoo smells divine with a light perfume that has a hint of vanilla I believe.  Paraben free with UV protection and rich moisturizers, this formula lathers up well without having to pour much on.

I followed up with the Aqua Conditioner. This is also a caring, but lightweight formula without sulfates or parabens that adds volume and helps fight frizz while it hydrates.  This product combats knots like a champ.

Next, I sprayed their Volume Heat Protection before I grabbed my blow dryer to safeguard vulnerable hair from heat damage. This product also helps give the hair some lift.

Sculpt and Tone is advertised as a soft hold styling cream with a toner to eliminate brassiness that later went on my slightly damp hair.  This tinted cream has a consistency more like a pliable putty for texture.

Since I didn’t know how much I would need, I always like to start with a small amount to see how the product would handle my hair.  Let me tell you, readers, this stuff is one of the best hair products that I have ever used for the way it controlled the force of my down-growing, long sweep of bangs. There were no escapees of wispy bangs either. Furthermore, Sculpt and Tone didn’t leave my hair hard but touchable and soft with wonderful hold, not any wimpy, barely there control.

I was feeling prettier even before I applied their olive oil-based shine spray, Shine, which gave me mirror-like gloss! You can also use this spray as a detangler.

I never heard of an adjustable hold hair spray, where by rotating the nozzle you can change your choice of soft, medium, or strong hold to match your style.  Their Control Hair Spray was a first.  It made sure my hair stayed in place the way I liked.

Sculpt is their soft hold styling cream, which I tried next time. I really loved how the Sculpt and Tone handled my bangs that I used that product for that area and went with the Sculpt for the rest of my hair.  My slightly layered cut allows me to either play up the waves of my natural curl or smooth it with products.  Sculpt gave a smoother curl with nice, moveable hold.

I highly recommend checking out Chroma Studio and their amazing hair products, especially Sculpt and Tone if you have problem hair that fights you at every turn like mine. Seriously, try the collection, view their video while you're there for benefits and pointers, and thank me later!

NEW Mineral Fusion Natural Brands Curl Care Beauty Balm Review

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Mineral Fusion Curl Care Beauty Balm.jpeg
Mineral Fusion Curl Care Beauty Balm

Mineral Fusion Natural Brands recently came out with some new hair styling products. The line includes four beauty balms geared to a specific hair concern.  Each tube does a lot of different tasks in one as it styles and cares for hair with botanicals and minerals to keep it healthy and  manageable.

I was sent the Curl Care formula (for curl enhancing) to review.  However, there is also Hair Repair (to hydrate and correct damage), Vibrant Shine (for adding gloss), and the Volumizing (to build up hair with extra lift) in these beauty balms.

Though you can use this beauty balm in dry hair, I always prefer applying after towel-drying, freshly washed hair.

I do have some natural curl in my hair that appears the more my hair is layered.  Right now, I am wearing my hair smoother with just slight layering.

After I squeezed out about a nickel-sized amount, I finished styling.  This product safeguards hair color and protects it against heat, which I liked.

The Curl Care Beauty Balm gave my hair extra shine and softness without any frizziness.   I also noticed my hair gained a light hold with a nice bounce to it.

The line of beauty balms is free of paraben, sulfate, and gluten.

Mineral Fusion Beauty Balms retail for $12.99 each for the 5 fl. oz. tube.  To learn more visit Mineral Fusion's website or Whole Foods Markets.

Holiday Hair Styling Power: Star Pro Line's Star Wax Premium Professional Pomade Collection Review and ($160) Giveaway--Ends November 23, 2013

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**
Star Pro Line's Star Wax Premium Professional Pomade Collection.jpeg
Star Pro Line's Star Wax Premium Professional Pomade Collection

Holiday parties are coming up!  If you want to shine like the star you are, your hair needs to be perfect as if you just left your stylist's chair.  The only way you can do that without running back to the salon is to use the same professional grade hair care products like Star Wax Premium Pomades from Star Pro Line sent to me for this review and giveaway.

I depend on pomades and waxes for my bang area, mousses and gels for the rest, besides thermal and shine sprays to keep me presentable.  Without heavy-duty control of a product like pomade, I wouldn't be able to control my forceful, down-growing bangs to wear them swept off my face.  Therefore, my long bangs made the ideal testing ground for from Star Pro Line's four varieties of Star Wax Pomades:  Original, Crystal, Clay, and Toffee.

I thought the best way to try these is to begin with the Star Wax Original formula.  This is strong hold, water-based pomade in a clear red color that is enriched with jojoba extract to condition while it keeps hair controlled with a shiny finish.  I started with the smallest amount of this styling product to get a feel of how much will work on my head while it was slightly damp.  Later, I added a bit more to my dry hair.  This stuff was wonderful with keeping my hair pushed back without any stickiness, crunchiness, or dirty hair feeling.

Also, I am pleased to say this product gives hair a beautiful glossy shine that looks natural, not some greasy, oily slick that looks pasted down, but more like you just added some shine spray.

Star Pro Star Wax Original and Crystal.jpeg
Star Pro's Original and Crystal Star Wax
The Star Wax Crystal worked even better on my head for coping with my problem bangs.  This is the super-hold strength formula of the original with a thicker texture and that striking shine.  Instead of clear red, the Crystal pomade is a pretty blue.  Just like the original, my hair looked and felt soft and clean.  You can even brush it and not disturb the hold.  Grape seed extract is added in this formula along with jojoba as a light moisturizer for your hair as well.

On the other hand, the Star Wax Clay pomade has all the amazing styling capabilities of the Original only without the shiny finish.   I thought this strong holding formula was wonderful for control and holding power, especially how it preserved the hold despite bad weather that could have left me fighting bangs.  Ingredients such as jojoba, borage, evening primrose, Dead Sea mud and vitamins help its water-resistant power.

Finally, let me introduce you to Star Wax Toffee.  This is the Star Pro pomade you want if you only need moderate hold with a brilliant shine while being a bit water-resistant.

Star Pro's Clay and Toffee Wax.jpes
Star Pro's Clay and Toffee Star Wax

I can't tell you how much I really liked all four pomades.  They are, indeed, professional performing products that won't leave you in the lurch when you need to look great.  Just as important is the fact you have to pull out the clarifying shampoo to fully get them out of your hair since they rinse out easily.

Equally impressive is you get a huge five-oz. jar for $40, which is a real bargain.  I do recommend this Star Pro line because I know you will be pleased with your hair's outcome.  Buy these Star Wax pomades on Amazon.com or go to Star Pro's website to learn where to buy.

Thanks to Star Pro Line, one lucky Nuts 4 Stuff reader in the United States or Canada wins all four of these terrific Star Wax Premium PomadesStar Wax Crystal (5 fl. oz.), Star Wax Original (5 fl. oz.), Star Wax Toffee (5 fl. oz.), and the Star Wax Clay (5 fl. oz.) for a ($160 total value)!

Seven Sins "Lust" Pre-Styling Lotion for Sexy Smoothness and Shine! (Review)

Disclaimer:  This post is based on a free product provided by a company as a press sample so that I may offer my own  opinion, which may be the same or differ from yours.
Seven Sins "Lust" Pre-Styling Lotion.jpeg
Seven Sins "Lust" Pre-Styling Lotion

A small change like a new hair styling product can make a big difference when it comes to handling hair.  Unless I use the right ones to keep my stubborn locks in line, the waves and curl I have would dictate my hairstyle.  Thank goodness for Seven Sins "Lust" Pre-Styling Lotion  sent for my review because it was up to the challenge of taming this head of hard to manage hair!

I always like to use the smallest amount recommended of a styling product  to see how it does first.  Therefore, I pumped only once instead of the recommended three times to work this fragrant lotion  through my fresh washed, but partially damp hair.  I spread the amount  through my strands as evenly as I could from the middle to the ends.

Getting my wide-tooth comb through the thick jumble of my normally knotted hair was easier.  Usually, I depend on a hair conditioner before styling products but went without it since I was testing this pre-styling lotion.   "Lust" already appeared to be promising.

Once I finished, I really was excited with the outcome.  How much smoother my waves and curl were even with just one pump.  The next time, I found two pumps of this stuff left me with sleek, straighter hair that was riveting with an intense shine.  My hair felt soft and not sticky or greasy to the touch either.  This styling product also has a soft hold to allow hair movement over keeping hair rigidly in place.

For my forceful, down-growing long sweep of bangs, I did need stronger control and used my molding putty the next time.  However, I loved how straight and frizz-free my hair could be with "Lust."  Furthermore, I could skip shine serum with that glossy wattage I got.  The only thing else I followed with was a little hair spray and I was good to go.

Seven Sins is a relatively new company started by Master Stylist/Colorist, John Michael Zucco, two years ago.  Capitalizing on his thirty-year experience in the industry and celebrity clients, Zucco's concept was simplifying a line of styling products capable of handling whatever hair "Sin" (the hair problem) with the appropriate "Virtue" (the hair fix) through one of his seven products.

I really liked Seven Sins "Lust" Pre-Styling Lotion and plan looking into more of their products.  If you want smoothness and great gloss, ladies, get this product! The 8-fl. oz. bottle retails for $26.

Aveda's Brilliant Spray-On Shine Review

Aveda's Brilliant Spray-On Shine.jpeg
Aveda's Brilliant Spray-On Shine

I hate those days when my hair lacks its normal luster.  If you're like me, you want instant help to make yourself presentable and rely on instant conditioners, shine serums or sprays on those occasions when dreaded bad hair happens.  Today, I want to share my feelings about Aveda's Brilliant Spray-On Shine that I was provided to review.

This pleasant scented product is enriched with vitamin E and rice bran among other botanicals for shine and smoothness.  I found using Aveda's Brilliant Spray On-Shine on my finished style didn't weigh my hair down with any oily feel.

I do have some natural curl and waves that are prone to frizz with humidity, but  this spray managed to control the frizz and any potential flyaway hair as well.

As to shine, well, prepare to be dazzling!  This spray will definitely correct any dullness you may have as it imparts a brilliant shine all right.

A 3.4 oz. bottle has a retail price of $25 and is wonderful to have on hand when you need that quick hair beauty fix.  Do check it out and see for yourself. You may also have found hair salvation in a bottle with cruelty-free beauty brand, Aveda's Brilliant Spray On-Shine!

Aveda's Pure Abundance Style Prep Review

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Aveda's Pure Abundance Style Prep.jpeg
Aveda's Pure Abundance Style Prep

Are you like me and constantly on the hunt for hair styling products to add more volume?  As I previously explained, my own hair is thick with lots of wave and curl to it, but I am never without a volumizing product to apply to my layers to make those curls pop and spring to life.   In my opinion, a styling product of this sort should be on practically everyone's radar not just those with fine or thin hair for the extraordinary difference it can make.  So when I had the opportunity to review Aveda's Pure Abundance Style Prep on my own head, I couldn't wait to put it to the test.

What I like about Aveda is their commitment to achieving beauty without sacrificing the environment or the consumer's well-being.  Thus, this company goes through great lengths incorporating that philosophy into each of their products while also striving to use as much naturally derived ingredients as possible like the botanical blend of passion fruit, rice bran, acai oil, organic aloe, and acacia gum for thickening in Pure Abundance Style Prep while a  natural polymer derived from corn is what the company uses to build volume.

This product comes as spray.  After I freshly shampooed and conditioned, I shook the bottle well and then gave my  towel-dried hair several small squirts and combed it through before using my blow-dryer.  This has a wonderful earthy herbal sort of fragrance that was soothing, almost like a bit of aromatherapy while drying, which was very nice and relaxing.  Furthermore, this spray was non-sticky and felt weightless when touched as my hair shaped up in the process of drying.

By the time I finished styling, I liked what I saw in my mirror with how this product worked.  My curls plumped up where I needed them to be and even where I sprayed near my roots somewhat lifted, which I really loved since it took some of that forceful weight away from my long side bangs.

Usually, I shampoo every day.  However, I wanted to see how this product would work when I skipped a day and just relied on restyling with some of this spray.  I was surprised how it managed to puff up my style again without weighing it down.  Instead, it felt clean and just as fresh.

Aveda's Pure Abundance Style Prep retails for $24 for a 3.4 oz. bottle.  Take if from me, this is a nice product to have around for thickening hair and giving it lift with volume.

If you think that volumizing styling products only can help those with fine or thin hair, then you are missing out on what I consider essential for practically every head.

As I mentioned, I have lots of thick hair with waves and curls so why would I need any such product?  The answer is because a volumizing styling product can be your hair's best friend, especially if you have some layers cut into my hair or just to pump up what you got.  So when I was asked to review Volume Boosting Foam from Umberto of Beverly Hills, I looked forward to testing it out.

This product comes as a lightweight foam.  The formula contains conditioning lemongrass extract and balm mint for shine and manageability as well keeping hair static free.

After I washed and towel-dried my hair, I pumped two small puffs of the foam and worked it through my strands, concentrating on my layers.

By the time I finished playing with my ceramic brushes and blow-dryer, my curls looked fuller and possessed a healthy shine.

To make the most of those beautiful curls, I pulled out my curling iron and finished with a spritz of hair spray to set my style in place.

Using this product the night before, I found my hair did not fall flat.  In fact, those curls held their own even after I combed and brushed them the next morning.

This is a wonderful hair product when you need to have reliable hair the next morning and want to save time.  I really liked it and am of the opinion that you would too!  You can find the Umberto Volume Boosting Foam at Target  for $9.99 or any of Umberto's West Coast salons.

Aveda's Control Force Firm Hold Hair Spray Review

Aveda's Control Force Firm Hold Hair Spray

No wonder so many stylists recommend Aveda hair products to their clients.  After my experience with Control Force Firm Hold Hair Spray, I can totally understand the reason.  In my opinion, it happens to be a sensational hair spray if this is an example of their line.

Why do I think this hair spray is special?  Besides keeping your style in tact practically all day without drooping even on a humid day, this Control Force Firm Hold Hair Spray will not leave your hair feeling sticky or caked with a residue like some others often can.

You can achieve amazing texture with buildable firm hold with this hairspray.  All I did was to layer applications to get that firmest of holds.  The important thing to remember is to make sure to let each coat dry completely before  spraying another layer to the level of firmness you need.

Usually, I always just spray my finished style with hair spray as the last step.  However, a friend suggested that I should spray my hair first with some before putting my curling iron to it to really turn on the shine.  And to my surprise, your sprayed hair does look to have more gloss.  Then, I finished with a bit more as usual.

Organic essential oils of lavender, bergamot, palmarosa, and vetiver give this hair spray a calming aroma with sort of a woodsy smell.  The formula also has UV filters and anti-oxidants to keep hair healthy and protected.

Seriously, there is a lot to love about this Aveda Control Force Firm Hold Hair Spray as I mentioned.  If you are in the market for a great new hair spray, this is one you definitely need to try.  A 9.1 fl. oz. can retails for $26.

Keeping that perfect hairstyle in tact can take some doing.  The hold you need can vary daily depending on how you feel like wearing your hair.  Nonetheless, you need a range of hair sprays to keep your hair just the way you want.  Today, I would like to share my experiences with three varieties of Kenra Professional hair spray formulations for light to medium hold.

First, I tried the Design Spray 9.  This gives a wonderful gentle hold that allows you to restyle your hair again without fear of needing to keep adding more spray.  I brushed and combed my hair through the day when necessary and found I could relax without worrying that I was now looking like a goon.

The Platinum Sheer Holding Spray is also an ultra lightweight hold hair spray that you will want to remember.  This gives a gentle hold, dries quickly, and best of all doesn't let you down when rain is in the forecast.  I loved how this spray worked when you only need a minimum of holding power.

Last of all, I tried Perfect Medium Spray 13.  This is an excellent, slightly stronger flexible hold type of hair spray.  You will find this dries quickly and doesn't make the hair feel overly hard.  You'll really like how this spray leaves you hair with an extra shine as well as a trustworthy hold that you can still put your brush through later without problems of needing more.  No wonder this spray won an award as best hair spray by Launchpad in 2006.

These three hair sprays are now staples on my vanity along with some fabulous Kenra firm hair sprays that I discussed in an earlier review.  Do look for this line because Kenra Professional knows how important preserving that hair style is to us, women.

Kenra Professional Styling Products for Amazing Curls Review--Part Six

I can be finicky when it comes to my hair.  Sometimes, I want a head of shiny, springy curls and take advantage of my natural curls and waves.  Therefore, I was interested in seeing how to make the most of what I was born with using curling and shine products from Kenra Professional.

The first product I wanted to test was their Curl Defining Creme 5.  I found it to have a delightful strawberry type of aroma once I pumped a little out and ran some through my still damp, freshly washed hair.

After I finished blow-drying using my diffuser, I found my curls multiplied and looked more defined and glossy  without leaving my hair hard and crunchy to the touch.  Furthermore, the hold lasted throughout a humid day without turning that beauty into frizz.

I got my bangs tapered to fall just slightly sheer and chipped on my forehead while the rest is pushed back into my hair.  With that said, I needed something else to control that section so I went with the Platinum Grooming Pomade.  This water-based formula provided enough of a hold to keep most of that hair to the side where I wanted it.  This didn't feel heavy either and really added a nice shine.

Though my hair had a shine, I wanted to see whether their Shine Spray  would make any difference.  This was incredible for turning on the highlights in my hair.  Ingredients like silicone, hydrolyzed silk, and sunflower seed extract help give the hair a softer texture while adding moisture as well.

The Curl Spray 8 is another great one when it comes to curls.  I gave myself a few blasts of this while still slightly damp after shampooing and scrunched before using my blow-dryer with the diffuser.  This product really treated my curls to softness from their humectant-enriched formula that includes glycerin, aloe, jojoba and sunflower oils.

What I loved about this product was it gave a wonderful gentle hold, kept frizz away, and seemed to revive my curls with a boost of healthy gloss and elasticity, which makes this fantastic in my book.

My hair has never looked prettier since I have been working with Kenra Professional and their topnotch hair products.  I have discovered more control, shine, and healthier revived hair due to their expert formulations and really do recommend them.  Whatever your hair needs, I believe they can help you also discover the road to more beautiful hair and highly advise a visit to their website and picking some products up.  Trust me, and you will thank me later once you see the results.
