Behold the bewitching beauty of Muse Eau de Parfum!

If you want to be intrigued and yet slowly seduced, Muse Eau de Parfum from luxury beauty brand, Rouge Bunny Rouge might be compared to stepping through a portal between reality and dreams to enter a world of blissful light revolving around the outskirts of deeper beautiful shadows.  This fascinating woody floral perfume that the company released in 2014 as a part of their Fragrant Confection line was created by perfumer, Nathalie Lorson and is sure to leave its mark.

Muse is a complicated enigma of notes that opens brightly with a fruity bergamot against sweet floral notes of freesia and gardenia.  The feeling is sheer joy like strolling through a flower garden on a perfect summer morning.   The more you explore, the more the landscape seems to change beneath your feet and plunge you further than you ever expected to go, surrounding you with sudden darkness and earthy green dampness.   

As this fragrance warms in the heart, the more you detect the jasmine and moss but almost traces of amber from the note of labdanum setting you on the right path out of this haunting natural beauty that is cast in shadows. 

You want to revel in its sweetness, but the light finally pulls you out of this mesmerizing hold this fragrance has over your senses in the base.  As Muse dries down, you find it impossible not to gravitate toward the inviting warmth once its notes of  musk, ambergris, cedarwood, and oud emerge.

Lavanila Laboratories Fresh Vanilla Lemon Healthy Fragrance Review–A Valentine’s Day Fragrance Pick to Warm a Heart!

Lavanila's Fresh Vanilla Lemon Healthy Fragrance can brighten up spirits.

When it’s cold outside, I find myself attracted to brighter, clean gourmand fragrances that seem to banish that dead winter landscape for me with their energizing freshness while also improving my mood with their sense of comforting warmth. A perfect example that can lift a mood and recharge spirits is  Lavanila Laboratories Fresh Vanilla Lemon Healthy Fragrance.

Though this natural fragrance may start out with juicy lemon, watery fruits and bamboo, its underlying base of Madagascar vanilla gives it a cozy warmth that is so soothing and yet softly sexy the more it heats and its layers unfold.

Halle Berry's Closer Perfume

Stunning actress, Halle Berry's fifth perfume for Coty Beauty, is as unexpected and fascinating as the actual screen goddess.  Working with the perfumer, Jacques Cavallier, Closer, is an intriguing woody-floral that divides that delicate line between masculine and feminine to power attraction by way of this unique scent.

The opening notes flirt with the opposite sex with accords of ozone, wild raspberry, and water lily to provide smooth sweetness and yet there is a degree of tartness to give it an interesting flow. 

The heart notes reflect the getting to know you stage in a couple's relationship  with mimosa, violet, cedar, and fougere accord for warmth and depth for stimulating a sense of falling in love.

The base notes reflect the underlying desire and intimacy with vanilla pod and cashmere that softly beckon while mahogany and musk further seduce.  Though Closer has a masculine vibe of somewhat, it softens in such an alluring way in the dry down that it has raw sex appeal. 

I was surprised at how beautifully complex this perfume was and really liked it.   However, this is one fragrance you need to test yourself.  You need to try Closer and allow it to develop on your skin  to appreciate how undeniably sexy it is!   

Closer would make a great holiday gift for any lucky woman.
