Emjoi eRase e60 ($79.95)

I had never used an epiliator before.  At first,  I was reluctant to consider trying a device like the Emjoi eRase e60 that pulls out hair from the roots because it sounded painful.  Then I thought I’ll never really know what it feels like until I try it so I agreed to put it to the test on my legs.

Gillette Venus Swirl Razor and Venus Olay Violet Swirl Shave Gel Review + ($20 Walmart Gift Card) Giveaway!–Ends March 27, 2015

Disclaimer: This a sponsored post for SheSpeaks/Procter & Gamble.

Warm weather will be here before you know it.  Instead of covering up every inch of our bodies, we will be putting away those heavy clothes and hunting for summer clothes again.  Since we’ll be showing more skin with our sun dresses, shorts and halters, we need really smooth legs and underarms.  When I received the invitation to participate in this She Speaks project, I thought reviewing the Gillette Venus Swirl Razor and Olay Swirl Shave Gel couldn’t have been timed better.

Gillette Venus Swirl Cartridges,  Venus Swirl Razor, and Olay Violet Swirl Shave Gel

What is so special about the Gillette Venus Swirl Razor is its revolutionary FlexiBall design, which has the ability to move in multiple directions and yet hug the body as it travels for the closest shave ever with its five blades.  A built-in MoistureGlide serum automatically gets activated when water touches it for added gentleness as that razor glides and maneuvers over that curvy, complicated terrain of a woman's body without knicking.

The Gillette Venus Olay Violet Swirl Shave Gel made it that much easier to shave.  My legs felt so silky smooth when I finished like I just applied lotion.  Whether it was just due to the razor or using that wonderfully scented shave gel together, I loved how it protected the skin from those irritating knicks while making that shaved area so touchable.

I don't know about you, but this Gillette Venus Swirl Razor and Olay Violet Swirl Shave Gel are my new best friends for not only warm weather--but all year round for beautiful, silky legs that my guy can't get his hands off of.  Ladies, take my advice, you need to try both of these products because you'll love the difference they make in your appearance with those tempting, smooth legs.

A Surprising New Use for Hair Conditioner That Comes in Handy That You Will Love!

Don’t you hate when you are about to shave your legs only to find out that you ran out of shave gel?  Instead of beating yourself up about it because you forgot to pick one up when the can was running low, I have a great save to help save your legs through shaving until you get to the store.

By all means, do try substituting your regular hair conditioner to shave with.  Measure out a little in the palm and spread it over the area.  Believe it or not, the hair conditioner will allow your shaver to glide over your leg and soften your skin at the same time.

Guys that run out of their shave gel or cream also may want to try this hair conditioner trick as well.  I honestly don’t know how it will work on your face but I think it has to be kinder that foaming up to shave with soap.  In all likelihood, the hair conditioner will smooth your skin instead of drying it out like a soap can for the time it takes to shave.

No joke, this tip works beautifully and quite better than I ever expected.  Try the regular hair conditioner next time for that shave and you’ll know that I was right.

Get Closer: HYD for Men Skin Care Products for a Smooth, Clean Shave (Review)

Disclaimer:  This post is based on a free product provided by a company as a press sample so that I may offer my own  opinion, which may be the same or differ from yours.
HYD for Men Skin Care Products.jpeg
HYD for Men Skin Care Products

Although beards and moustaches can be quite sexy on men, I must confess a smooth male face is better for kissing since tickling and scratching can often follow.  My guy happens to like a clean shave also so when iFabbo offered up the HYD for Men shaving system of products to review, I knew he would be pleased to voice an opinion.

There were three products from HYD for Men for him to sample with a Shave Cream for anti-aging help while conditioning and slicking up the skin in prep for a razor; the Buffer Stick to exfoliate and ward off ingrown hairs; and a Razor Shield for prolonging the life of any razor blade.

After several days, I thought it was time to probe him.  In regard to the HYD for Men Shave Cream, he liked the energetic, cool sensation in this low foaming later, but really noticed how much softer his skin felt compared to his normal cheaper shave cream.  He also mentioned he didn't need to use as much as what he pumped from his old can to get a close shave.

The HYD for Men Buffer Stick he thought wasn't bad. Although I have tons of scrubs, he never tried anything to exfoliate so this was a first for him.  His problem was remembering this extra step the first few times.  Now I see him making a habit of picking that product up when he shaves.

As to the HYD for Men Razor Shield, this is the only product he wasn't all that keen for.  He didn't think it helped his blade to justify the cost.  He thought pouring an oil out over his blade was harder to coat than if it had come in a spray form.  It dripped down and wasted more than went on the blade in this way.  If the design was changed, it probably would make it a more effective product.

The HYD for Men Shave Cream retails for ($12.99), Buffer Stick ($24.99), and the Razor Shield ($17.99).

Ladies, HYD for Men Shave Cream really left my guy with a baby smooth face so ready for kisses.   I think the essential oils and well as the added moisturizing ingredients really do wonders even on someone with a tendency toward heavy growth.  Men, listen up, because this is a product that might help your cause with the ladies.

If you want to try any of these products from HYD for Men  that I talked about, then this is the perfect time to save 20% off your entire purchase.  All you have to do is to click here to visit HYD for Men and enter promotion code SAVE20.   Thank you to #HYDForMen and iFabbo for allowing my guy a chance to be heard.

Leg Smoothness Reigns! Schick Hydro Silk Razor Review

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Schick Hydro Silk Razor.jpeg
Schick Hydro Silk Razor

Being a BzzAgent, I got invited to take part in the Schick Hydro Silk Razor campaign and put it through a test run.  Being of a curious nature, I had to accept the challenge and compare what sort of smoothness was possible over my current choice of a disposal razor.

This Schick razor has five Curve-Sensing blades instead of one like mine, which definitely looks impressive.  These blades are also coated with special water-activated moisturizing serum so I could forgo shaving gel before running it over my legs.

Contoured to suit a woman's body, I found it did maneuver more easily around my legs than what I had been using.  Furthermore, the multi-head razor that was pre-loaded with serum did seem to cut closer without any irritation.  My legs felt beyond soft and smooth, but silky.

I am not surprised the Schick Hydro Silk Razor has won several awards for being the best razor.    After my experience, I can see why it was chosen because I, too, have found a new, better razor!  Do try this razor and compare for yourself the beautiful difference.

Mangroomer Products Review and Giveaway!--Ends July 20, 2011

Mangroomer-Back-Shaver.jpeg
The Mangroomer

I happen to have a hairy man in my house.  As indiscreetly as possible, I suggested Mangroomer products needed his opinion knowing he made an excellent test subject for the company.

The products Mangroomer sent my guy to review were The Essential Mangroomer Do-It-Yourself Electric Back Shaver, The Essential Nose & Ear Hair Trimmer, and The Essential Private Body Shaver.

It took my guy some practice and angling when he started using the items after his shower before he got the knack.  The back shaver was the product needed to whittle down some of his heavy growth on his chest and back. There is an online video that demonstrates techniques for using the back shaver.  It has five different positions that lock into place and an extendable handle.

He tried the private body shaver under his arms and along his arm.  This product came with the five setting adjustable comb, the recharging power adaptor cord, and the premimum foil.  He also used this shaver on his belly and chest to smooth and get down to bare skin without the red guide.

Lastly, he groomed with The Essential Nose & Ear Hair Trimmer and looked handsome again.

By the time, my guy was finished using all the Mangroomer products he was comfortable and ready to model the new swimming trunks I bought him.

Ladies, if you want to clean up your man, Mangroomer is the perfect place to start.

*Disclaimer:  This is my own honest opinion.  No money was exchanged.  All I received were free products so that I may make an opinion.*

Thanks to Mangroomer, one lucky Nuts 4 Stuff reader in the United States or Canada wins The Essential Private Body Shaver ($39.99 value)!
