How to Energize Tired Feet While at Work

This kissing couple can be doing their foot exercises at the same time.

If you have a job where you’re standing on your feet a lot or are constantly on the move, then you probably suffer at the end of the day.  However, there are so ways to ease that tired feeling before you get home that could bring you some relief.

What you can do is to try a few simple foot exercises.  No supervisor will suspect that you are slacking from doing your work  because your toes will be moving in the privacy of your shoes to perform the exercise.

Here’s what you need to try.  Point your toes upward in your shoes and hold that position for a few seconds before flexing them downward. Repeat this about eight times or as often as you can.  Believe it or not, this will help stimulate circulation and give you a little more boost in your step.

There is even more that you can do when you go on your break or to the rest room.  Do the same above exercise but alternate the routine and stand on your tiptoes when flexing the toes outward and then inward.

Something else that can perk up feet that tire easily is using a wooden foot roller.  Unfortunately, your position might not allow you access to a desk where you could take your shoes off and have your feet beneath to take advantage of that comforting massage of that roller.  Then again, a foot roller can help you later at home.

Here’s Quick Relief for Tired, Sore Feet After Walking All Day in High Heels!

Though heels are gorgeous and do make legs look longer, they can leave you hurting if walking in them all day.  Instead of continuing to suffer in silence just for the sake of fashion, I am here to help rescue your poor, abused feet.

You can start by getting a clean basin and pouring in three tablespoons of white or apple cider vinegar to three tablespoons of Epsom salt before filling it with enough warm water to soak your feet in.  Keep the feet immersed for at least fifteen minutes.

The acidity in the vinegar will help disinfect the feet and soften the skin while the Epsom salt will tend to the swelling and increase circulation.

After you shower and are getting ready for bed, I recommend rubbing your sore feet with a thick coat of Vicks VapoRub and slip into a pair of socks.  Once you wake up, you will need to wash your feet but you will feel like were treated to the best massage of your life!

By the way, this VicksVapoRub treatment done in the same way for your feet and covering them with socks through the night, is also said to help control a cough.  I never tested that particular home remedy for myself, but I thought to pass it on just in case you might have one.
