L’Occitane en Provence’s newest fragrance line of Arlésienne  recently was launched in time for holiday gift giving.  To begin with, the Eau de Toilette ($50) is as wondrous and full of sparkle as the holiday season itself.  This bright rose scent speaks to the heart with its untold bliss and delicate beauty that you are instantly affected. Though as sparkling and sweet as this floral may be, it also has an underlying mysterious allure that sets it apart from other rose fragrances.

With top notes of saffron flower and mandarin, the fragrance washes over your senses like a celebration with its lively, contagious joy. This specific combination keeps the opening dazzling with more freshness than sweetness with just a bit of added peppery allure from the saffron flower.

The heart is like unwrapping the perfect gift with how beautifully the rose and notes of lily of the valley are unveiled.  The fragrance is so elegantly romantic and gentile to become so captivating that you can’t stop admiring it or the wearer, if you tried.

As this fragrance dries down, there is a sexy mystery brewing that can’t be rushed  from notes of violet, sandalwood and tonka bean, which intrigue as well as invite seduction with enticing finesse.

The Arlésienne Body Milk ($25) is another divine way to wear and enhance this rose fragrance.  This fragrant, velvety emulsion of rose, sweet violet and saffron keeps skin petal-soft and just as blooming as a fresh rose.

The last product that I received was the Arlésienne Solid Perfume ($12), which is a must for traveling or packing in your handbag.

The Arlésienne Collection also includes body oil ($36), shower cream ($20), hair mist ($25), scented candle ($25), gorgeous lips ($12), and the velvet  hand cream ($12).

Rose lovers, I implore you to get a whiff of Arlésienne and buy.  This is a must have fragrance and perfect for you and holiday gifting.  Feel free to thank me anytime!

You're never too young to start defending that delicate eye area.  After all, eyes are what people gravitate to first. Therefore, you need them to look fresh.  Today, I want to acquaint you with a fabulous way to solve that problem with French organic beauty brand, Melvita's Fresh Eye Contour Gel.

Since I have had such beautiful results with a few of their other rose collection products, I was looking forward to seeing how this eye gel worked when it arrived for my review.

You should know that this product even exceeded my expectations with how it helped reduce my usual morning puffiness with its formula of mountain roses, cornflower water, red seaweed extract, polysaccharides and vitamins A and B12 for draining and improving blood flow around the eyes while moisturizing.

When using mornings and nights, be sure after you apply the eye gel to use the pads of your fingers to tenderly pat the product in and avoid hurrying with a few swipes to stretch and tug on that fragile skin.  Patting in this manner for all the facial products you use helps preserve the integrity of your skin and best aid in getting it thoroughly absorbed.

Another plus to its sweet floral smell is that this gave me a wonderful soft feel to that skin and was not any pore-clogging, thick gel that left a greasy trail along the path of your eyes.

This product is also said to reduce the blue undertones of dark circles. I still needed to reach for my concealer but the area did look slightly lighter.  Nonetheless, that puffiness issue was greatly improved and overall my eyes looked renewed.

The 15ml size retails for $35.  I do recommend picking Melvita's Fresh Eye Contour Gel and especially anything else in their rose line because they are tops in my book!

I'm Passionate About Melvita's Fresh Moisturizing Body Milk for Petal-Soft Skin (Review)

Melvita's Fresh Moisturizing Body Milk

Anyone with dry skin knows what a struggle it can be to keep it soft.  However, I have been discovering some excellent organic skin care products to solve this perpetual problem thanks to French beauty brand, Melvita, like the ones I sampled from their Apicosma and Rose lines.  Therefore, it would be a crime if I didn't try more to share with you.  With that said, let me introduce you to my latest find, Fresh Moisturizing Body Milk, another from their Rose line, than I am wholeheartedly passionate about.

Though it is labeled a body milk, I consider it a luxurious organic body cream with its aroma of rose while hydrating your dry skin exceptionally well.  As you slather on this sweet essence of rose with its rich, thick consistency, your skin drinks in that beneficial formula of rose floral water, rose seed milk, and wild rose petals without any greasiness, only a feel of petal softness.

Melvita's Fresh Moisturizing Body Milk is not advertised as a hand cream.  Yet, I tell you this is a supreme hand cream.  Suffering hands that had been red and rough seem to thrive and bloom with beautiful smoothness again in no time.  You might think because this is labeled a body milk it would lack that lasting barrier to make this healing possible without constant reapplications, however, this is not what I have found.

If you want a top notch hand cream, I have two close to my heart with their Apicosma Hand Cream and now Melvita's Fresh Moisturizing Body Milk.  Both require a small amount to do their wonders.  I highly recommend them because they are true skin miracle workers for coming to the rescue of dry skin.
