L’Occitane en Provence’s Nourishing Shea Butter Gift Set

Winter weather has a tendency to zap so much moisture from our skin that it can leave us wanting.  As a result, we have increased dryness and chapping to cope with.  However, I have a wonderful suggestion to end that miserable cycle of skin abuse with L’Occitane en Provence’s Nourishing Shea Butter Gift Box that PR sent me to try.

This grouping of five products is the ultimate dry skin repair kit to keep your body, hands, and feet happy.

This $69 set that has a value of $103.50 contains:
- Shea Ultra Rich Body Cream 7.8 fl.oz
- Shea Ultra Rich Shower Cream 2.5 fl.oz
- Shea Extra Gentle Milk Soap 3.5 oz.
- Shea Butter Hand Cream 2.6 oz.
- Shea Butter Foot Cream 2.6 oz.

Honestly, I don’t which of the L’Occitane Shea Butter products among these five is my favorite because I love them each in their own way.  Their award-winning Shea Butter Foot and Hand Creams are great for softening up rough feet or chapped hands before you know it.  Yet, I do also adore bathing with the Shea Ultra Rich Shower Cream and Shea Extra Gentle Milk Soap for a pampering bit of luxurious body cleansing and completing my bathing ritual with smoothing on some of their luscious Shea Ultra Rich Body Cream.

If you suffer with dry skin like I do, then Nourishing Shea Butter Gift Box is the perfect gift that you can give yourself or anyone that you buy holiday gifts for.

Purchase a L’Occitane gift set this season and the company will donate $10 to Dress for Success to help prepare women for their job interviews.  Check it out because you will be glad that you did not only for yourself but by helping another in the true spirit of the holiday season!

The Shea Butter collection is one of L’Occitane en Provence’s best selling product lines. Most notable is their Shea Butter Hand Cream, which has been bringing relief and softness to suffering hands for twenty years now.  To mark this remarkable anniversary, the company has recently launched a new limited edition Shea Whipped Collection that sports an amazing fluffier texture that your skin will love.

The Whipped Body Butter inside that tin ($24) is a rich, but weightless mousse that absorbed into my dry skin instantly without leaving any greasy residue behind.  With its 10% formula and soothing innocent fragrance, it has a light as air feeling and is a thorough way to moisturize and protect you all over during the cold weather months.

Showering with the Whipped Shower Foam ($20) is a delight and tempting way to start or finish a day. The product comes as a clear liquid that once pumped out turns into a puff of creamy emulsion to pamper every inch of you with silky moisture as it cleans.

Wait until I tell you that this version of their awesome Shea Butter Hand Cream has even more Shea in the Whipped Hand Cream!  Instead of 20% Shea, dry, rough hands benefit further with 25% in this limited edition formula, which will be sold in travel size ($12 for 1-oz.) only.

A cause important to L’Occitane en Provence is preventing blindness.  Therefore, they released their Shea Butter Apricot Solidarity Soap ($3) on World Sight Day (October 8) with 100% of the profits headed for NGO, an organization dedicated to helping bring much needed eye care to those in underdeveloped countries.

Review: Perlier’s Shea Butter White Lily Hand Cream-- #PerlierOnHSN

Beautiful, soft hands can never go out of style.  When you are shopping for a new hand cream because your current brand isn’t doing as much for you as it should, I think you would like Perlier’s Shea Butter White Lily Hand Cream that I was sent to review from iFabbo.

This hand cream has 100% organic shea butter and white lily extracts.  The product comes out fairly thick with a lovely floral fragrance that perfumes as it treats the skin.  It does absorb easily enough into the hands and leaves skin silky, not greasy.

The formula is advertised to help improve the elasticity and firmness of hands.  Yet, I have seen skin sag skin elsewhere on a body but don’t recall witnessing that particular issue when it comes to hands.  All I can say is it did right by my hands for the way it relieved dry skin and made them velvety and pretty again.

Buy #PerlierOnHSN.  In fact, watch Perlier on HSN on July 24 and 25 because for some special package deals featuring this hand cream that you don’t want to miss out on!

I Found Dry Winter Skin Salvation!--L'Occitane en Provence's Shea Butter Ultra Rich Body Cream and Dry Skin Shea Hand Cream (Review)

L'Occitane's Shea Butter Ultra Rich Body Cream and Dry Skin Shea Hand Cream

Harsh winter weather is the time of year skin needs extra loving care to keep it soft and hydrated.  Why not lavish that special person on your holiday gift list with some pampering body care from L'Occitane en Provence?  A good place to start might be with their Shea Butter products for some necessary soothing relief.

The Shea Butter Ultra Rich Body Cream is an incredibly concentrated formula.  This cream comes delicately scented with jasmine and has 25% Shea Butter, linseed, mallow, apricot seed oil, vitamin E, and sweet almond and honey extracts.

Using a rich cream immediately after showering keeps the moisture in before dressing so my skin stayed soft with less chance of itching from over dryness that sometimes occurs at this time of year.  I must say this body cream is nicely absorbed by the skin without feeling greasy afterwards.   What else I liked was that I didn't need to use that much either.

The Dry Skin 20% Shea Butter Hand Cream was a fabulous product to rescue my dry, chapped hands.  I go through tons of hand cream because they always seem to dry out and are prone to chapping not just during cold weather but all year round.  Hand cream is a necessity at home and in my handbag.

To make matters worse, I have a special problem when washing my hands in public restrooms.  As strange as this may sound, my hands always become red and irritated after those visits and this happens even when I bring my own soap. However, the Shea Butter Hand Cream in the travel size tube I received was just what I needed for almost instantly comforting them.  This may sound hard to believe but this stuff really works fast because within about five minutes my hands improved considerably as far as redness and hurting goes.

L'Occitane en Provence has some excellent holiday Shea Butter gift sets that would really light up a person's life.  Shea Butter Travel Treats would make a perfect stocking stuffer and a great way to experiment with a 1-oz. Shea Butter Hand Cream and 1-oz. matching Shea Foot Cream.  A Shea Embrace Set is just one other way with Shea Hand Cream, Shea Foot Cream, Shea Body Cream, Shea Soap Milk, and Shea Ultra Rich Shower Cream.  This set usually retails for $110 but is now $68.

I can't tell you how glad I am that I have found L'Occitane en Provence's Shea Butter line and will be ordering more and stocking up on that hand cream soon.  If you haven't tried these products yet and you also are suffering, take it from me these work exceptionally well.  Do order and you can count on relief!
