Molton Brown Delicious Rhubard & Rose Bath & Shower Gel Review--A Yummy Way to Spend Time in the Tub!

Delicious Rhubard & Rose is a delectable scent that you'll want to spend time with.

Those that are dieting may want to consider another scent of bath and shower gel for spending time within their bath.  The reason is that Molton Brown’s Delicious Rhubard & Rose has such a yummy fruity-floral fragrance that you might not be able to resist heading to the kitchen afterwards.

As soon as you flip that cap, you get a fresh whiff of slightly bitter rhubard and the bright juicy notes of mandarin and yuzu fruit.  Yet, once you start lathering up with this moisturizing pink gel, the rose note kicks in to sweeten up this delicious bathing recipe, toning the tartness back.  The more you linger and wash, the more that you’ll detect the underlying sexy musk note emerges, which is so appealing.

Sudsing up with its sugared bubbles is a delight to the senses and offers a beautiful escape once you’re in the tub or shower.  If you love a fruity-floral aroma or are thinking of a nice one for that special lady as a Mother’s Day gift, this product from Molton Brown can please.  My advice is check out this Bath & Body Gel ($30) and the entire Delicious Rhubard & Rose line!

Review: Citrus Verbena Eau de Toilette and Shower Gel from L’Occitane en Provence--A Wonderful Feel Good Scent for Summer!

Citrus Verbena Eau de Toilette and Shower Gel

Summer is the time you want a lighter fragrance to properly embrace the season.  If you want one fitting for the task, L’Occitane en Provence’s Citrus Verbena Eau de Toilette is as an airy ode to cool freshness that can do it in style. The sheer beauty of this citrus fragrance may be just the ideal blend for you once the barometer climbs.

The fragrance opens with a brisk start with top notes of grapefruit and lemon.  The combination seems to give your senses a crisp jolt of freshness.

As the scent further warms, the lemon verbena note in the heart kicks in.  This makes for a sweet transition to curb the sourness to soon turn the mix into something delectable like a lemon treat to tempt you with.

Once the fragrance begins to dry down, it becomes even more heavenly as the cedar emerges in this base. The cedar adds the ultimate touch giving a soft muskiness to the green and citrus resulting in a delicate fresh herbal clean that is captivating and so easy to wear.

I also got to try the Citrus Verbena Shower Gel, which is delightful with its organic verbena and grapefruit extracts besides lemon oil for starting or ending a warm day.

Whish Body's Sugar Plum Holiday Gift Set

When wanting to pamper delicate skin, I recently discovered the wonders of Whish Body. This health conscious brand developed their natural formulations due to the founder’s own sensitivity issue to the harmful chemicals regularly added to many of the same type of products. As a result, Whish Body became the answer to meet that need.

My first experience with this company was with their Sugar Plum Holiday Gift Set that has body butter, sugar scrub, and a body wash (all 3-fl. oz.). These three products are a delectable, fruity way to moisturize, exfoliate, and cleanse as safely and gently as possible.

The delicious raspberry smell is amazing, but then again so are the good-for-you ingredients, which include many organic ones such as organic shea butter, organic raspberry butter, organic aloe, organic cucumber, and organic bamboo powder plus others.   No parabens, sulfates, DEA and TEA or petrochemicals are in these USA-made products either, which is another important factor when you are trying to take precautions with your health since those chemicals can be absorbed into your skin.  

I enjoyed scrubbing with the Sugar Plum Sugar Scrub and thought it did a great job smoothing my skin along with the yummy Sugar Plum Body Wash.  Moisturizing with the Sugar Plum Body Butter gave my skin beautiful softness and made me smell tempting enough to nibble on!

Now I'm very curious about this company's hand creams. Find Whish Body at Nordstrom's for yourself and those that you'll be buying for this holiday shopping season because if you do then all will be merry!

Tone Up and Beautify Your Body for Summer With Prana SpaCeuticals Attar Firming Body Milk! (Review)

With bathing suit season just around the corner, I think it's important to be as proud of your body as you can.  Whether you have a perfect shape or have figure flaws like many of us, you could still be carrying around some lumpy cellulite.  Unless you firm up those problem spots, if you intend to show a lot of skin with a new skimpy bikini, you could spoil the look with that unflattering, orange peel type skin.  

Fear not, ladies, I'm already on it because firming up that cellulite is a problem for me. My particular curse is thighs, making me the ideal candidate to see how well a firming product would work like the one Prana SpaCeuticals sent to me for review with their Attar Firming Body Milk.

The star ingredient in this body lotion is the glaucine.  According to some research, when it comes to helping with anti-cellulite, glaucine is better equipped to empty cells and secret cellulite instead of storing it in the skin with that lumpy grapefruit texture.  Glaucine  in stimulating lipolysis to drain those pockets of toxins and fat sounded promising along with Ginkgo Biloba leaf extract to increase circulation and more blood flow to help in the process made sense to me. In addition, this lotion has lots of antioxidants, highly refined oils such as grape seed oil, almond oil, sunflower seed oil, vitamins, and several natural anti-inflammatory ingredients for more benefits. 

I was immediately drawn to its lovely scent once I pumped this lightweight lotion out.  There was no sticky feeling left on my skin either just what I rubbed felt silkier and more supple.  It took about ten days for me to see improvement with more firmer, and less jello-looking thighs. 

You won't find all your other humps and bumps gone if you have them, but you will see a wonderful difference in pulling the area together while giving your skin more elasticity and softness.  If you're like me and need to fix the look of your problem area, then I recommend trying Prana SpaCeuticals Attar Firming Body Milk and see how well it works firsthand because I know you will appreciate what it can do.

Lisa Hoffman Beauty gives the graceful serenity of her Japanese Agarwood fragrance another form of beautiful expression in her newly launched Bath and Body Collection.  This 2009 FiFi Fragrance Award Finalist  that I was sent for this review and giveaway now is available in a skin pampering Body Lotion and Body Wash and is not to be missed!

The reason I am so thrilled is because now I can lavish myself totally in this soulful woody-floral fragrance from head to toe! You may want to read my original review on the perfume.  

With notes of bergamot and lemon, Japanese Agarwood starts out vigorously with an effervescent energy paired up with lily of the valley and jasmine to rein that beauty in.  As a result, a softer floral freshness emerges until that calming  warmth due to its exotic woods, amber, ginger, and cardamon float up to the surface to help you get in touch with your inner self.
 
To me, this scent is perfect for settling into a tub after a stressful day because the longer you linger with those rich, scented bubbles, the more that scent does to improve your state of mind and tired muscles.  I have been loving spending time with this Body Wash and appreciated how that scent seemed to delicately remain on my body after I emerged from my bath.

The Japanese Agarwood Body Lotion is lightweight and instantly absorbs to hydrate your skin with moisture and fragrance.  The warmth of your body seems to draw that sensual earthy warmth out as it blankets you with that haunting and delicate woody-floral scent.  It is luxury at its best.
