Early Defensive Tactics to Take When Discovering Your First Facial Lines That Can Help

redhead-with-perfect-skin.jpeg
Here's proof of well-cared for skin.

Your complexion may be perfectly smooth and free of any signs of aging.  Though as wonderful as that may be, this facial perfection doesn’t last forever.  Sooner or later, everyone does get a turn experiencing these joys of growing older.  Once you start seeing those first fine lines is the time that you need some prompt action to push back the aging process.  Therefore, I have a few skin care tips that can help better defend your complexion.

One of the best things that you can do is to shop for skin care products that have glycolic acid and vitamin A (retinol) as ingredients.  Glycolic acid is so important because it is one of the best alpha-hydroxy acids for exfoliation and stimulating fresh skin cells to the surface.  The reason this is the primary AHA to look for is because glycolic acid has the tiniest size of molecules for the best penetration through the layers of the skin’s dermis.

Others alpha-hydroxy acids may have larger size molecules, but they too can benefit the skin, only not to the same extent as glycolic acid.  These include lactic acid from milk, tartaric acid from unripe grapes, citric acid from oranges and lemons, malic acid from apples and cherries, and mandelic acid from bitter almond.

Vitamin A (retinol) is a proven commodity for defying aging because it has the ability to thicken the skin and maintain collagen enough to firm up the look of wrinkles.  Using a product with retinol can only help make a face appear younger.

You also want to keep in mind that sunscreen in your products is just as important.  Make sure that your daily anti-aging moisturizer has at least 30 SPF broad-spectrum sunscreen component to protect from environmental damage from the sun.

Something else that you need to do is start using at home facial peels.  I prefer facial peel pads.  They are easy and can change the texture of your complexion without taking a lot of time and mess.

Here’s my secret to prevent any abuse to my skin when using facial peel pads.  Use one facial peel pad on your freshly washed face before storing it afterwards in a small, closed jar to use for three times.  You will be surprised at much better that your complexion will respond instead of  flooding it with too many harsh chemicals.  After all, the skin needs time to recover and renew.

Those first wrinkles can really be depressing, but following my skin care tips can slow down the process.  Take my word for it and you will see, I promise!

Review: Christie Brinkley’s Close Up Instant Wrinkle Reducer and Treatment Does It Really Work Or Not?

Is Christie Brinkley's Close Up Instant Wrinkle Reducer and Treatment  up to the wrinkle diminishing challenge or not?

I knew former superstar model, Christie Brinkley was making wigs, but I did not know she was also getting into beauty products until iFabbo emailed about this product.  Looking at her still gorgeous face at 61, you wonder if she has, indeed, discovered the foundation of youth. Could it be that her new beauty product is her secret?  This was all I needed to want to test it out.

Close Up Instant Wrinkle Reducer and Treatment is intended to tighten and smooth problem areas that have lines or fine creases.  It is also supposed to help with under eye bags and puffiness in the process with a formula treatment complex that combines four bioactive ingredients along with UVA/UVB and Infra-Red protection.  All those things to help with aging sound good to me.

I followed the directions exactly and applied the product after moisturizing, using a circular motion before gently patting the cream in the lines.  After the product dried, I stroked on my foundation and the rest of my makeup.

I don’t have a lot of wrinkles, but I do have laugh lines, a few less significant ones on my forehead and some fine creasing near my eyes.  In my case, this product did not do much for those deeper laugh lines to impress me overall to want to rush out and buy it for $79.95.  Do not misunderstand me.  I am not saying that it did not work; it just did seem to help more with the fine creases instead.   Therefore, if you have fine creases and want to temporarily get rid of them for a few hours, then I suggest to give this product a try.

People spend a lot of money injecting Botox into their wrinkles. However, I consider introducing a botoulinum toxin into your body just for this purpose risky business.

Though Dermaflage is primary thought of to help conceal scars, I had wanted to see how it would work on wrinkles when I was approached to review it.

I was sent their ($50) kit to experiment with.  The products include a small 4ml bottle of Primer, two applicators, application tools, a texture pad, a bag of twenty mixing tips, and the clear makeup bag to store them in.

After cleansing my face, I brushed on tiny bit of the primer to that one line that has popped up to annoy me between my brows.  According to the directions, you need to wait at least thirty seconds before proceeding with the actual fill-up and that I did.

The texture pad comes in a plastic compact, which also serves a mixing dish for I was about to do next–the repair. For this, I needed to twist the top of one of the applicator tubes that had one side of silicone and the other contained the color (Fair).

Once opened, I attached a mixing tip and gave the applicator a very small squeeze to the lid of that compact.  You can also apply directly from the applicator and spread in this filler with your finger, but  I got a long mixing tool and hurried to combine the mixture and work because this stuff does dry quickly.  (The company advises thirty seconds, which was about right or maybe a few seconds less by my clock.)

Depending on the shape and size of the area to be filled, you have two uniquely shaped tools to choose from.  I went with the spatula-like precision tip for my line.

My tip is deciding beforehand the tool you need and keep it close because you don’t want to waste time and let this product sit or use too much.  You need it on as fast as you can and use a very little so keep this in mind.

Smoothing my job with that tool, I allowed it to dry for about another thirty seconds before holding the texture pad over my work for about a minute.  Don’t put too much pressure because it will mess up your application.

When I later checked, I was quite impressed for my first time because only a trace of a line remained.  Now Dermaflage ($50) is not a permanent solution and lasts approximately thirty-six hours.  Yet, it is a safer alternative than injecting yourself with a neurotoxin like Botox that also is temporary–only lasting for about three months.  To find out more or to buy, do visit Dermaflage.

Here's a Quick Trick to Make Wrinkles Less Noticeable!

If you have a problem with makeup settling into the wrinkles around your eyes, then I have a great suggestion to help improve that situation.  Try mixing a dab of concealer with some of your eye cream before applying.  Once you do, you will like the difference.

For those other lines on your face, you might try mixing a bit of foundation with moisturizer just on those areas with those bothersome wrinkles.

Renee Taylor's face Love Tightening Serum

Those that make their living in front of a camera depend on maintaining their best appearance possible.  Ask any actress or model what their special trick is and you might discover certain cosmetics, makeup tips, diet, or skin care products are what keeps them looking  beautiful and practically defy aging.   Actress, Renee Taylor, best known for her role as Sylvia Fine on the hit television comedy,  "The Nanny," is one such master now sharing her secret with the world.

Working together with Renee's personal makeup artist, Cindy Carol, the pair developed a product to instantly tighten facial lines for a more youthful appearance.  This firming serum is called face Love and I was asked to review it.

I don't have lots of deep wrinkles, but I do have two bad boys on the sides of my cheeks near my mouth. Therefore, I was game to test  Renee Taylor's face Love all right!

According to the directions, you can use a drop or two on a freshly washed face or over makeup for anywhere on the face, eye area or neck.  Be sure your face dries completely first before applying the product.  I only needed a drop to do my entire face.  What I noticed was the serum did seem to chip away years while toning your face from what I was staring at in my mirror.

The two deeper wrinkles that plagued me did tighten and the finer creases around my eyes disappeared.  However, I must have over applied on those two bigger wrinkles trying to finish what I had left on my finger because I noticed there was white caking in the area.

Less is better when using this product.  Therefore, the next time I tried using, I only added what I needed and not layering.  This gave a much better look to my face.

In fact, I also wanted to see the difference of how this product would work when applied over my makeup.  I gained a more natural look and preferred this method.

The driving force behind this revolutionary instant face lift is a powerful anti-wrinkle peptide called acetyl hexapeptide.  And I must admit, but Renee Taylor's face Love does help you look younger quickly.  I don't know how long this wonderful improvement will last, but I think it's fantastic way to  feel better about yourself and aging.  I think any woman that has some wrinkling issues, whether a few like mine or more, would love this serum.

This serum came ready for gift-giving in a pink  bag, adorned with pink ribbon and also came with a bonus of a full-size tube of LipLove lipstick, a medium pink shade, for $55!  If you ask me, you can hardly buy one skin care product anymore for that price.

With the holiday season and all those parties on the horizon, you need to put your best face forward and Renee Taylor's face Love can definitely help you do that!  Pick some up for yourself or give as a gift to brighten someone else's life and witness a beautiful change.
