Check out this month's beauty goodies for July 2015 Beauty Box 5

It is that magical time of the month again because my new Beauty Box 5 assortment has finally arrived! The theme of this month’s grouping of cosmetics and skin care is colorfully cool beauty for summer nights out.

Let me tell you how this monthly beauty box subscription works in case you haven't discovered this company yet. Usually, each green box contains about four or five full to sample sizes of beauty items for only $12 with a monthly subscription.  Some brands are familiar while others may be exciting new brands that you’ll get introduced to, but probably love.

Receiving surprise beauty products every month is fun because you never know what will be arriving.  Some months you will love more than other months, depending on your preferences.  However, I always have a blast digging into each new Beauty Box 5 and always find something special among the products.

If you’re curious about this month’s box, then I won’t keep you in suspense any longer.  Take a peek at the products below.

Beauty Box 5 for July 2015

OFRA Lip Gloss           (full size)-----------------$12.95

OFRA Lip Liner            (full size)------------------$13.00

Nanacoco Nail Polish   (full size)------------------$3.00

Love Life Skin, Love Life Skin Collection (four sample packets)

Pur~lisse Flesh Tattoos (full size)------------------$9.00

Total approximate value:       $37.95

The color of the OFRA Lip Gloss was Truffle, a nude with shimmery copper that is a great neutral shade.  I liked the non-sticky formula and the way its glistening color lit up my lips.

The OFRA Lip Liner was in Spicy, a brownish shade that paired up well with my Truffle Gloss.

I didn’t get a chance to try the Nanacoco Nail Polish yet because I am doing nail swatches right now; however, the rose-pink shade I got is Kissing Lips and looks just like the colors I tend to wear the most.

Since I am also currently testing more skin care products, I will have to save those samples of Intensive Recovery Serum and Restorative Night Cream from Love Life Skin for another time.   The formula sounds worth exploring since it was developed to help chemotherapy patients and their sensitive skin, which sounds like the TLC my skin could use.

Finally, I got a sheet of Pur~lisse Skin Sparkle Flash Tattoos.  The designs and detail are pretty with gold, silver and black, but I am not the tattoo type.  Yet, this is just my preference and doesn’t mean it is a bad product.

Overall, I thought it was a wonderful box. To learn more or subscribe, pop over to Beauty Box 5 and get on board the fun train to beauty!

Take a peek at Beauty Box 5 March 2015!

Though Spring break may be on your mind, the theme behind this month’s box is not being a bit more lax about beauty with a selection of items to fit the occasion.  Instead, the assortment of skin care and makeup products are for maximizing your beauty potential.

If you still haven’t found Beauty Box 5, then you really should give it a try.  Each box has four or five full to sample sizes of beauty items per box, which can be had for $12 with a monthly subscription.  Yet, you can even pay less.  A subscription can run as low  as $6.58 a month when committing to an annual subscription.

In fact, March 2015 is even more exciting because it came with three full size cosmetics!  Are you ready to dive in and explore these new beauty goodies?  Then let me show you in detail when I found in this new box that has me in such a good mood.

Beauty Box 5 March 2015

Eslor Introductory Collection–Second Edition--four sample packets (5 ml)–$17.03

Elite Therapeutics Rosemary Eucalyptus Body Cream–.5 oz. sample--$1.18

Scandalous by Nanacoco Thickening MascaraFull Size–$4.99

Styli-Style Line & Seal Twist Mechanical Eye LinerFull Size–$4.99

Laugh Out Loud by Nanacoco Lip GlossFull Size–$3.99

Total Value: $32.18

This is the second time I got some Eslor skin care and loved finding more of this paraben free natural line to tweak up my complexion.  The four packets are the Soothing Refiner & Cleanser, Botanical Peeling Gel, Chlorophyll Lifting Mask, and Firming Collagen Day Cream.  I am once again testing facial care products so the first chance I get I will dive into my new stash of these samples.

The Elite Therapeutics has 70% certified organic ingredients, which I love to hear.  It’s a wonderful formulation for moisturizing the body if you don’t mind its distinctive herbal scent, which may not be for everyone.

The Nanacoco brand is one that I don’t remember trying in the past.  However, I thought the black Scandalous Mascara pumped up my lashes nicely.  It didn’t leave them feeling brittle either, which can happen sometimes.

I absolutely adored the Nanacoco Lip Gloss in Call Me Babe for feel and color.  This is such a pretty metallic pinky-brown nude with some mauve that lit up my lips beautifully without excess stickiness.  It is a great neutral that would compliment every skin tone.

The final product was a Styli-Style Mechanical Eye Liner in Lapis.  This is a lovely teal color that I was surprised did so much for my dark brown eyes.

In summary, I thought this was a wonderful put together selection!  Do you agree?

Here is  a photo of  Beauty Box 5 for December 2014.

This month’s Beauty Box 5 revolves around indulgences to make the holidays even brighter with the assortment of products geared to do the trick.

If you’re unfamiliar with this monthly beauty subscription, then let me fill you in.  Each box usually has four to five beauty items from full sizes to samples.  The cost is $12 a month with free shipping, but you can reduce that price significantly if you get an annual subscription that brings it to a mere $8.25 a month.

As to what arrived, I won’t keep you in suspense any longer.  Here is what I received in this new beauty box below.

Beauty Box 5 December 2014

1.  Jaqua Rose Bouquet Hydrating Facial Mist–FULL SIZE (1.69 fl. oz.)–$16.50

2.  Absolute! New York Nail Polish Remover Pads–FULL SIZE (32 pads)–$2.99

3.  Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Moisturizer–SAMPLE (.26 fl. oz.)–$9.94

4.  Nanacoco Nail Polish–FULL SIZE–$3.95

5.  Lucky Brand Lucky Number 6 Perfume–SAMPLE (unspecified size)

Total Estimated Value–$33.38!

The Jaqua Rose Facial Mist was a hit with me.  I regularly use a rose facial mist year round after cleansing before moisturizing.  Sometimes, I also like to spray some on after I do my makeup and press a tissue over it.  This really does wonders for giving you a fresher look and does keep your makeup lasting longer.

The Absolute! New York Nail Polish Remover Pads I got were the Peach scented pads. This worked very well for removing polish, but you can still also smell the stronger chemicals along with the peach.  I still liked this product.

The Nanacoco Nail Polish was Summer Nigh Festival, a mix of purple and blue glitter.  I didn’t try this yet, but it does look pretty in the bottle.  I will paint my nails soon.

I do adore organic skin care.  I didn’t get a chance to test this new Juice Beauty Moisturizer because I am currently involved in another skin care project, but this one is already on my vanity waiting.

The Lucky Brand Lucky Number 6 perfume sample was a lovely woody-floral with just enough spice to add to the magic.  I only wish we could have gotten a larger sample.

To sum it up, I would label December 2014 a good month!  Don’t you agree?

Have you tried Beauty Box 5  yet?  Do check it out!
