Boosting Fall 2017 Beauty With Vasanti Cosmetics

cosmetics group.jpeg
It's that time of year to refresh your makeup collection.

Fall will arrive before you know it.  Of course, you’ll want to update your makeup to go along with this new season.  Canadian beauty brand, Vasanti Cosmetics sent along a variety of their products that could help get you off to a good start that you might want to take a look at.

I’ll begin with their Liquid Cover Up-Oil Free Foundation and Concealer ($25) for the 0.54 fl. oz. tube.  This is a cruelty and paraben free product that comes in 11 shades. Unfortunately, I received the V3 for medium neutral to medium-golden skin, which was entirely too dark to wear, instead of V1 fair to light.

swatches of foundation, bronzer, blush duo.jpeg
Here I swatched the Blush Duo, Bronzer and foundation for you.

The color was so drastic that I would look like a clown if I applied it straight from the tube.  Therefore, I squeezed a small amount and mixed it with a moisturizer to make a tinted moisturizer for this review.  The formula even sheered down feels comfortable and left me with decent light coverage that lasted without migrating to lines or caking up through my day.  While the depth of color was improved, the shade was still far too orange for my skin tone, which was disappointing.

Wonders of the World Concealer Duo ($26) has three shades to choose from. One side of this compact has a lighter shade for under the eyes while the other side of the pan is deeper for handling any blemishes or scars that you need to hide.
concealer duo.jpeg
This color is inappropriate for fair to light skin.  Why it was sent, I can't understand.

Why I received the darkest in this line with O2 for medium to medium deep with yellow undertones baffles me since I stated I was fair to light.  I couldn’t wear this product in public or people might think I awakened from the dead with the dark rings it created, but I sampled the formula in the house just for this review.  I thought it spread and blended well and didn’t crease easily during the short time I had it on.  One of the lighter shades would have been nice to test longer for a more thorough judgement.

On the other hand, their Blush Duo ($29) in Set for Life is available in five shades and was beautiful with its warm rose and pink tones. The powder is silky with micronized pigments that subtly light up cheeks with a realistic, glowing natural flush.

blush duo.jpeg
I really liked this Blush Duo in Set for Life.

Next, I experimented with their Mineral Bronzer ($29) in Brazilian Tan.  Besides this medium brown bronze, there are two other shades in this line.  This mineral formula has light reflecting pigments as well as anti-oxidants to capitalize on natural radiance. Being how pigmented this powder is, I swept on just a bit before I had enough to imitate time spent in the sun.
mineral bronzer.jpeg
This shade is heavy on the brown.

The Kajal Extreme Intense Eyeliner Pencil ($19) offers six shades.  I got to work with the Extreme Black. This waterproof formula of a pencil features a built-in sharpener and a smudger.  I thought it was creamy to the point of almost being a gel-pencil, long lasting  and great for creating a thicker line with true black color that couldn’t be any darker. This is perfect for doing those strong, bold eyes trending for Fall, 2017.

As to the lip products, Vasanti sent a tube of their Love Brights-Gel Matte Lipstick ($19).  I was sent the darkest shade from the eleven in this line with Drunk in Love, (extremely deep matte burgundy).  Ladies, nearly black tones of berries, plums or burgundies are also going to be the rage next season.

lipstick.jpeg
Drunk in Love is a blackened burgundy.

This has gellified pomegranate, cherry, and evening primrose oil to keep lips moisturized in the most long-wearing formula that ever touched my lips.  The formula is heavy on pigment to the point of wearing like a comfortable stain. No joke, it refused to come off despite eating and two different makeup removers!  It stayed put on one part of my upper lip for three days before finally wearing off.  I guess I should have tried my waterproof makeup remover, but I thought why bother.

Their Lipline Extreme Pencil ($17) in Black Cherry was ideal for wearing with that Drunk in Love Lipstick. Five other colors are available.  I found this pencil that is infused with marula oil has a nice glide and keeps the lipstick in place.

lip pencil.jpeg
This depth of this Black Cherry Lip Pencil worked well with the lipstick.

I also got to experiment with their Power Oils Lip Gloss ($22) that comes in 15 shades.
Celeb that arrived is a pink-brown nude loaded with nourishing oils such as raspberry, peach, jojoba, and pomegranate to care and treat dry lips.  I thought it felt so soothing and smooth against the lips with plenty of a shine and more than ample color.

swatches of lip products & the lip gloss.jpeg
Going from left to right, I swatched Drunk in Love, It's Your Mauve, Black Cherry shades while holding the Celeb Lip Gloss.

To wear with that lip gloss, I tried the Matte Crush Lipstick Pencil ($23) in It’s Your Mauve (rose mauve). Three other shades make up this line.  This is a waterproof product that is creamy, very spreadable and comes packaged with its own sharpener that can be worn as a liner or even a lipstick.  Besides dual uses, it felt great and kept my lips looking good so what’s not to love about that?

Today, I supplied some possibilities to inspire you with these Vasanti Cosmetics.  Visit their website and check them out.

PUR Cosmetics Bronze Your Selfie Review + Swatch!

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Bronze Your Selfie.jpeg
I love how much you can do with this one liquid bronzer!

This is the time of year when my still pale winter coloring could use a boost.  Therefore, I was glad to find PUR Cosmetics limited edition Bronze Your Selfie show up in a box that PR sent along because it seemed just what I needed to transition into summer.

This is a liquid form of bronzer with gold radiance through its sunny tan color.  It has a shimmer to it, but it’s more subtle and a natural looking sun-kissed hue than an exaggerated, sparkly one.  I also thought it was buildable and easy to blend.

swatch of Bronze Your Selfie.jpeg
Here I swatched the Bronze Your Selfie with the unblended on the left and blending it on the right.

I especially liked how many different ways that you could use this product to get yourself glowing.  I loved mixing a little of it with foundation for warming my complexion, but also found it just as wonderful when I tested it with my moisturizer.  I also added  some to my body lotion and it rescued my pale legs and arms.

I say if you want an effortless glow whether for the face or body, then PUR’s Bronze Your Selfie Skin-Perfecting Face and Body Liquid Bronzer ($26) is the way to go.  Check it out at the company’s website or Kohl’s while it’s available because it really is one that you’ll love!

Mally Beauty More Is More Mascara Review

*Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

More Is More mascara.jpeg
You'll love what you can do for your eyes with this mascara.

Unlike some of you, I don’t naturally come by long, lush lashes unless I meet up with great mascara.  I don’t know if you had a chance to try Mally Beauty’s More Is More Mascara yet, but PR kindly sent me one to see what I thought.

This is a jet black formula with a nicely designed, slender brush with additional bristles on the tip for lengthening, defining and separating to give that effect of false lashes. This mascara also has a special sealant that helps protect from smudging and flaking.

The formula has a creamy, wonderful consistency that goes on the lashes beautifully.  This mascara really captures lashes easily to thicken and lengthen.  I liked how quickly I could build up my lashes and separate them for real impact without needing to curl them first.
More is More mascara and box.jpeg
This mascara is easy to take off, too.

My eyes can be sensitive, especially at this time of year with everything blooming.  However, the formula is gentle and non-irritating as well. This mascara also didn’t smudge in all the hours I had it on, but flaked slightly toward evening when I went to take it off.

Something else fantastic about More Is More mascara is how great this mascara is to remove with just a regular eye makeup remover.

The next time you are on the prowl for new mascara, especially if you don’t have the best lashes, make it a point to try Mally Beauty’s More Is More Mascara ($20) because you will be glad that you did!

Mally Beauty’s NEW Shimmer, Shape & Glow Palettes Review

*Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Deeper Shimmer Shape & Glow Palette.jpeg
This is the DEEPER that brings peach tones to life.

One makeup product that can do it all to get your complexion healthy, glowing, and looking as if you got just enough color from the sun comes is the new Shimmer, Shape & Glow Palettes from Mally Beauty.  PR graciously sent both the LIGHTER and DEEPER versions for this review.

I thought the original Shimmer, Shape & Glow was a well-thought out product for defining the face with blushing, highlighting and contouring to make the application foolproof for even those that never attempted highlighting and contouring.  Yet, Mally Roncal really knows how to step up the game with this new verison.

LIGHTER Shimmer shape & Glow palette.jpeg
Here is LIGHTER that  has beautiful cool pink tones.

Just like the original, the tones of the LIGHTER and DEEPER palettes are what really distinguishes them from each other and not the strength of their color.  The LIGHTER palette is more about rosy pink tones.  On the other hand, the DEEPER one is warm and peachy beautiful at its best.  Regardless of your preference, both have a delicate satin sheen brought to their full glory with a soft shimmering highlight.

Though I honestly think either palette could compliment any complexion, I do find the DEEPER really enhances my fair to light coloring with yellow undertones exceptionally well.  Those with a cooler skin tone probably would equally fall in love with LIGHTER, if you had to narrow your choice down to one.

Honestly though, I don’t think that you would want to have to decide on just one of these palettes with how you can change your look.  My advice is just save yourself from a difficult choice by getting both.  You'll find a lot of great use from those Mally Beauty New Shimmer, Shape & Glow Palettes ($40) so check them out!

For a Mistake Proof Sun-Kissed Glow--PUR Marble Powder Bronze Review!

*Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Marble Powder Bronze.jpeg
If you've been making mistakes buying bronzers, PUR's Marble Powder Bronze is worth looking into.

Bronzers can be just as difficult as foundation for finding your ideal match.  Some shades may look suitable in the compact, but once you start applying they can fool you by being overly heavy on the orange, muddy looking or far too shimmery.  With the new one from PUR Minerals that I sampled lately, you can adjust the depth and color of bronze that you want with their Marble Powder Bronze for a mistake proof bronze look.

The interesting thing about PUR’s Mineral Powders is that each multidimensional compact can be slightly different as far as tone and color, which give you all that more control of  shade and the extent of the glow that you’re seeking.  Instead of one flat color, you can use this one compact to contour and brighten.

The Marble Powder Bronze I received was randomly speckled with browns and pink-beige pigments that once swirled really had a lovely effect.  I pulled out my PUR Blurring Powder Brush for this because it made it easier to target sections of that compact where I needed without overloading the brush for application.

I loved customizing the amount of sun-kissed radiance from this paraben and Bisphenol A (BPA) free bronzing powder.  To me, it saves you making a bad color choice because this one has various shades.  You just need to find the right spots for your perfect glow with a subtle gleam.

Anyone that keeps regretting buying one wrong bronzer after the next should try PUR’s Marble Powder Bronze ($23.50)  because it does make bronzing foolproof!  Check it out.

PUR Afterglow Illuminating Powder Review

*Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Afterglow powder.jpeg
You'll love what Afterglow can do for your face!

The easiest way to create the illusion of a beautiful complexion is to direct light on the skin to imitate a natural glow as it streams over the face.  Since I believe your skin can never have enough inner radiance, I was glad to try PUR Minerals Afterglow Illuminating Powder that PR sent along.

This is an ivory-beige toned shimmery powder that has some warm, yellow undertones to the formula that includes shea butter and the company’s anti-aging Ceretin Complex among its ingredients.

Furthermore, no animals were harmed through torturous testing to bring this product to market.  It also is free of parabens and Bisphenol A (BPA).

However, the product does have a lot of soft pearly glow to it, which is beautiful against the skin, but reminds more of a highlighting powder for emphasizing certain places on the face than an illuminator for blurring all over the face to minimize imperfections.

You don’t need to worry about Afterglow disappearing on you through your day.  I had it on from early morning until I took it off before dinner and it still looked just as good as when I first put it on.

This PUR product is great and I do love it, but will be using it solely as a highlighting powder, which is perfect to me.  If you’re hunting for a new product to get that glow to your skin, check out Afterglow Illuminating Powder ($25) at the company’s website!

Mally Beauty Effortlessly Airbrushed Blush and Highlighter (Pretty Pink, Stardust) Review

*Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Blush and highlighter.jpeg
These Mally Beauty glow-getters can really help your look.

Blush and lipstick are two beauty essentials that I would be hard pressed to live without. I couldn’t go a day without them for the life that they can return to a pale face.  Unless you are fortunate to wake up with perfect coloring, you might not value the importance of those products in the same way as the rest of us that need to help our beauty along.  Now it’s easy to understand why I am so smitten with a new one from Mally Beauty with her Effortlessly Airbrushed Blush and Highlighter that PR sent me recently.

Pretty Pink is a cooler, deeper pink, a blend of mauve and magenta. Stardust is a shimmery champagne shade.   At first glance, I thought the color might overwhelm my fair coloring until I tried it with that double-ended brush I found inside.

I used the black end that had slightly more hairs and would be less for the dark pigment to stain in comparison to the white end when working with this blush.  What I did was apply it sparingly and gradually built it up until this silky powder with a creamier feel than you might expect melded into my skin with enough of that dramatic color to look as it always has been a part of me.  Actually, the effect of this deep pink against my light skin and dark hair was more flattering than I expected.

The small round with that Stardust highlighter was simply gorgeous once I dusted some on.  I used the white end of my brush for this highlighter. I hardly used much because this packs a lot of glow so keep that in mind, but it was nice for emphasizing cheekbones.

This three-piece Effortlessly Airbrushed Blush and Highlighter set that you can find at ULTA Beauty is a nice value at $35.  At Mally Beauty the Effortlessly Airbrushed Blush alone is $24. Check it out!

PUR HydraFluid Water Serum Foundation (Light) Review + Swatch

*Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

HydraFluid Foundation.jpeg
You'll love the fresh coverage and weightless feel this foundation has.

Given the fact that I have a dry complexion, I was eager to try PUR HydraFluid Water Serum Foundation. The idea of a serum enriched foundation to boost the skin’s radiance through an enriched encapsulated water complex formula intrigued me that I had to see for myself what this product could do.

What else is interesting is that HydraFluid ($39) has no oil, but PUR’s Ceratin Complex as well as that Swiss Alps-sourced mineral water for improving skin’s overall smoothness as it firms and lifts.  The formula also has aloe vera and free radical fighting, vitamin E for healing and soothing, but no actual sunscreen.

Something else that is different is the long clear slender tip that this foundation has compared to a wider mouth bottle or pump dispenser that releases more than a drop at a time.  This prevents any waste of pouring or pumping out too much foundation, which I thought was great.  However, impatient ladies may think the slow way this product comes out takes too long.

Light was the best color for me among the five shades in this line.  It has some warmth, but not overly peach as you will see from my swatch.

swatch of HydraFluid foundation.jpeg
Here is the Light shade that I swatched.

Once I sampled it, I was amazed at how lightweight HydraFluid felt on my skin.  Instead, it reminded me more of a BB cream that perfected and smoothed the look of my face.  The only difference was this foundation has a thinner consistency than BB cream or your typical liquid foundation.  Still, it certainly delivered with wonderful hydrating coverage that left me with a beautiful dewy finish that held up without settling into my laugh lines or disappointing me through the rest of my day.

If you need coverage, but hate how most foundations bog your skin down and are searching for a product capable of making you look fresh and natural, give PUR HydraFluid Water Serum Foundation a shot, especially if have dry skin.  I'm betting that you will love it once you do!

Laura Geller Fifty Kisses Lip Locking Liquid Color (Beige Bite, Pink Pucker) Review

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Fifty Kisses lip color.jpeg
Beige Bite is on the left with Pink Pucker on the right.

When you’re busy and hate needing to retouch your lipstick at the office after that first cup of coffee, you want a dependable lip color that won’t disappoint.  Well, I tried Laura Geller Fifty Kisses Lip Locking Liquid Lip Color and was amazed at how extra long this product can last without drying the lips out due to its special proprietary polymers complex.

This lip color does not have any parabens or mineral oils that you need to worry about.  This product has beneficial lip soothing sunflower extract, apricot butter, and almond oil.

I received two from the eight shades in the line with Beige Bite (medium pink nude) and a bolder color with the Pink Pucker (vibrant red-pink).  These are more pigmented than you may expect and glide on to give the lips a creamy, satin-matte finish.

For a long-wearing lipstick, I was pleasantly shocked what a trooper Laura Geller’s Fifty Kisses Lip Locking Liquid Color was for how long it kept up with me and my day.  It didn’t feather, smear or seem to transfer despite my addiction for coffee.  I did add some clear lip balm later in the day just to lube my lips up a tad more.

Have you experienced Laura Geller’s Fifty Kisses Lip Locking Liquid Color ($21) yet?  You don’t know what you’re missing until you do!

Laura Geller Beach Matte Baked Hydrating Bronzer (Sunrise Fair) and Baked Body Frosting (Tahitian Glow) Bronzer Review + Swatches!

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Beach Matte bronzer.jpeg
Sunrise Fair is ideal for fair to light skin.
Let’s face it, but this is the time of year when our complexions look the palest after being cooped indoors during winter.  A simple way to warm up your complexion and get that sun-kissed kind of glow is through the help of bronzers.  Laura Geller PR sent me two different varieties with their Beach Matte and Baked Body Frosting for me to test.

The Beach Matte Baked Hydrating Bronzer ($33) I sampled was their lightest shade in Sunrise Fair.  This was subtle, neutral cool beige-brown that has hydrating extracts and antioxidants. The result is a very smooth textured powder that clings wonderfully to the skin to deliver a great natural glow. What else I liked was that I could use this product to contour my face also.

PUR Cosmetics Velvet Matte Liquid Lipsticks (Fever, Passion) Review--Are These the Perfect Mattes for you?

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Velvet Matte Liquid Lipsticks.jpeg
On the left is Passion with the Fever shade on the right.

Lipstick has always been a beauty staple for me as it is for most of us.  I think that it is a quick way to add some instant glam to your look.  PUR Cosmetics sent me two tubes of their Velvet Matte Liquid Lipsticks from their line of 10 shades with Passion and Fever.

These cruelty-free lipsticks retail for $18 a piece and come with a doe-foot applicator. They are totally vegan as well as manufactured completely free of parabens, which makes you feel even better when buying that no animals were harmed for the sake of beauty.

The colors also are extremely pigmented and do seem to glide on almost like butter instead of liquid lipstick with no detectable scent.

Fever is a deep red brown shade, almost bordering on an vampy, oxblood color.  The problem that I found with this shade was that it accentuated the smallest bit of lip dryness.  This color also seems harder to spread, clinging to concentrate more on certain parts of the lip than others.

The next time that I tried that deep red shade, I made it a point to exfoliate my lips first.  Still, I experienced about the same amount of the problem.

On the other hand, I had a stunning victory with Passion.  This shade is a medium pink with some purple to it that is simply lovely.  It spread much better without any clinging to any lip dryness like the dark red and felt comfortable while leaving my lips with a great creamy matte finish that wore well through my day.

Have you tried any of these PUR Cosmetics Velvet Matte Liquid Lipsticks yet?  If not, check them out and tell me which ones that you tried!

Rouge Bunny Rouge Surprise Raw Garden Eye Shadow Palette-- Limited Edition ‘Phanes’ Review + Swatches!

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Phanes eye shadow palette.jpeg
The two highlight shades are sensational and work so well with this palette.

If there is one eye shadow palette that you want to think about treating yourself to this season, then it has to be Rouge Bunny Rouge’s new Surprise Raw Garden Eye Shadow Palette in Limited Edition ‘Phanes’ for the beauty that you can create from its five stunning shade choices.

swatches of phanes eye shadow palette.jpeg
Starting on the left is Alabaster Starling, Trumpeter Koel, Umber Firefinch, Unforgettable Oriole and ending with Delicate Hummingbird on the right.

This is a well-thought out palette with wonderfully pigmented colors that give you so many options for changing eye looks.  Imagine the possibilities with two striking metallic highlight shades, one a white-silver overcast with a touch of gleaming pink-beige (Alabaster Starling) and another illuminating white gold (Unforgettable Oriole).  The other bewitching colors run the gamut from a deep plum with hints of brown, silver and pink (Delicate Hummingbird) to a haunting dark grayish-blue gleaming(Trumpeter Koel) to a dark, earthy brown (Umber Firefinch).

This mirrored palette arrives with five separate refillable shades that you insert into each pan, which is held securely with a magnet.  However, it does not come with a brush.

Furthermore, I can’t tell you how pleased I was for how long-lasting these silky shadows stayed on even without a primer.

As you can guess, I am smitten with this latest addition to luxury beauty brand, Rouge Bunny Rouge’s, Raw Garden Eye Shadows with the Surprise ‘Phanes’ palette even more than the original Chronos, especially with two amazing highlight shades.

Stop by Rouge Bunny Rouge’s European website and check this Raw Garden Eye Shadow Surprise ‘Phanes’ palette out while it’s still available.  Unfortunately, this particular palette won’t be sold on their USA website, but you can buy the eye shadows individually.

Rimmel #Insta Flawless Perfecting Radiant Skin Tint (Light Medium) Review + SWATCH!

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

#Insta Flawless Perfecting Radiant Skin Tint.jpeg
This skin tint is a new way to gain that radiant glow to your complexion.

Rimmel has a new skin tint foundation product with SPF 15 that I had a chance to sample.  #Insta Flawless Perfecting Radiant Skin Tint comes in two shades of Light Medium, the one I thought was best for my fair to light complexion and a deeper shade of Medium Dark.

The color is slightly darker than you might expect and has a glowy finish.  The Light Medium has somewhat of a bronze cast, more like a summer shade that I use after spending time in the sun.  Nonetheless, the depth of this color does sheer out so keep that in mind.

Mally Beauty 4K Ultra HD Fantasy Foundation (Fair, Light) Review–For the Complexion You Always Wanted!

4K Ultra HD Fantasy Foundations.jpeg
This powder foundation puts a natural soft focus on the complexion.

A powder foundation is perfect for someone that hates the feel of liquid foundation.  Another strong point is the convenience of grabbing your flat top brush and swirling the powder for a fast application when you’re rushed.

The 4K Ultra HD Fantasy Foundation from Mally Beauty has a fantastic silky texture from a blend of aloe leaf extract and coconut oil among the ingredients in this superfine powder.

Rimmel BB Cream Radiance (Light) Review

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Rimmel BB Cream Radiance.jpeg
Rimmel BB Cream Radiance delivers more of a natural fresh finish.

What I like about BB creams is that they do what normal foundations do for coverage, only with added skin care benefits of smoothing, toning, moisturizing and evening out the complexion all in one product.  I had never tried Rimmel’s BB Creams yet so I thought to start with their BB Cream Radiance.

Two shades are available from Light to Medium, but I thought Light would be the best option for my fair to light complexion.  The shade was a good choice because it matched my warm tone without being too yellow or pink, but more neutral.

Unlike some other BB creams that I had tried in the past, this one from Rimmel had a thicker than thinner consistency.  The texture felt light on the skin.  The coverage I got was light and natural looking, but you can layer if needed for extra concealing.

When I initially applied the BB Cream Radiance in the morning it did smooth and give my dry complexion a slightly dewy finish without looking obvious like I was wearing a foundation for the hours I wore it.  I don’t know how this formula will work for someone with an oily complexion, but for me it did what I needed to perfect the look of my skin.

I liked this Rimmel BB Cream Radiance for what it did for me, but if you prefer more of a matte finish there is another Rimmel BB Cream Matte and their Original BB Cream, which I haven’t tried yet.

Mally Beauty Shimmer, Shape & Go Sticks (3-Piece Face Defining System) Review

*Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Shimmer, Shape & Go Trio.jpeg
These chubby sticks pack a lot of  useful beauty power.

Regardless of your face shape, I believe every face can benefit from contouring, highlighting as well as blush to give it definition.  Through shadow and light, you can almost rearrange bone structure to perfect a face and enhance it further through beautiful, healthy color.

Unlike Mally Beauty’s original Shimmer, Shape & Go in the powder form, this 3-Piece Face Defining System comes in three sticks of contour, highlight, and blush in Lighter or Darker shades also.  Though I loved that first set and made that fact known in my review, I must admit I am even more excited over the same system that was PR kindly sent for my review in stick form.

My set is the Lighter system.  What I did was to start with the champagne chubby highlighter by creating a C shape on cheekbones to the brow area. This gave a lovely glow. Next, I sucked in my cheeks and went with the subtle contour beige-tan shade there and under my jaw line, starting from my ear to work my way down to slim.  I rolled the rosy warm pink stick on the apples of my cheeks and admired how well the color brightened my face.

If truth is known, there are so many reasons why I love this new version of Shimmer, Shape & Go even more.  They can give the complexion more dewy luminosity compared to the powder.  Besides that, they can save time by how quickly they apply.  The formula is creamy and blends effortlessly into the skin for a warmer, authentic application.  My final reason is these sticks don’t take up much space whether in my handbag or makeup bag.

If you’re thinking of new holiday makeup or looking for cosmetic gifts, then I recommend Mally Beauty’s Shimmer, Shape & Go Sticks because they really are incredible!
