Review: Perlier’s Shea Butter White Lily Hand Cream-- #PerlierOnHSN

Perlier’s Shea Butter White Lily Hand Cream.jpeg
Perlier’s Shea Butter White Lily Hand Cream

Beautiful, soft hands can never go out of style.  When you are shopping for a new hand cream because your current brand isn’t doing as much for you as it should, I think you would like Perlier’s Shea Butter White Lily Hand Cream that I was sent to review from iFabbo.

This hand cream has 100% organic shea butter and white lily extracts.  The product comes out fairly thick with a lovely floral fragrance that perfumes as it treats the skin.  It does absorb easily enough into the hands and leaves skin silky, not greasy.

The formula is advertised to help improve the elasticity and firmness of hands.  Yet, I have seen skin sag skin elsewhere on a body but don’t recall witnessing that particular issue when it comes to hands.  All I can say is it did right by my hands for the way it relieved dry skin and made them velvety and pretty again.

Buy #PerlierOnHSN.  In fact, watch Perlier on HSN on July 24 and 25 because for some special package deals featuring this hand cream that you don’t want to miss out on!

Review: Burt’s Bees Shea Butter Hand Repair Cream

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**
Burt’s Bees Shea Butter Hand Repair Cream.jpeg
Burt’s Bees Shea Butter Hand Repair Cream

I happen to have sensitive hands that chap and get rough easily.  What usually gives me trouble is dish detergents and washing in public restrooms (not with any particular soaps, but the water itself).  You may be thinking why not just get a dish washer or use rubber gloves and avoid this problem.

Regretfully, my kitchen is too small to fit a dish washer and if I wear those typical latex gloves with my allergies, it only irritates my hands even worse.  I do have thick, non-latex gloves for cleaning but they are too clumsy to use for dishwashing.

Anyway, I am getting sidetracked.  The thing that happened was I used a new brand of dish detergent that was meant to be kinder for hands.  Perhaps, this is true for others, but my hands hurt after that and became red.

I was about to put on my normal hand cream when I remembered I had one left to review with Burt’s Bees Shea Butter Hand Repair Cream.  Therefore, I thought this was as good a time to test it than any other.

This 100% natural product comes in a metal tube and is extremely thick.  This hand cream also has cocoa butter and various botanical oils in addition to that intensive lubricant of shea butter.  It does take a bit of work to finally get it out of that tube, but once you do you will notice it has a very strong herbal smell, which is not particularly pleasing.  Nonetheless, I am a professional, committed to telling it as it is.  Thus, I squeezed some on before I went to bed.

By the way, the less than pleasant fragrance does dissipate in time, approximately fifteen minutes to become lighter.  This hand cream also is fast absorbing and left my hands without greasiness.

When I woke the next morning, I was really impressed at the condition of my hands.  With only one time, this stuff healed that irritated skin and left them smooth again.  I honestly liked this product.  The only thing that I wish was that the company work on is improving the scent. But, as to the performance of Burt’s Bees Shea Butter Hand Repair Cream ($13), I think it is exceptional for healing.

Anyone with sore hands and needs immediate relief, I highly recommend Burt’s Bees Shea Butter Hand Repair Cream!

Crabtree & Evelyns Pear and Pink Magnolia Eau de Toilette and Hand Therapy

As the temperatures heat up, summer is the time you want to wear lighter scents that will better work with your body’s chemistry over heavier ones.  There are so many new fragrances popping up that you may be overwhelmed. However, this perfumista has been hard at work finding the best new summer fragrances that are not to be missed like Crabtree & Evelyn’s newly launched Pear and Pink Magnolia Eau de Toilette, fresh and sensual, this fruity-floral is what dreams are made of!

This heavenly blend opens with an airy freshness from juicy red pear, passion fruit, and bergamot against creamy lemon. You would assume by this lovely layering of such soft and delicate notes that it would be the scent the angels might wear.

As the heart emerges, enchantment awaits the wearer as the notes of jasmine and apricot-scented osmanthus surface. When the fragrance shows its romantic side, it becomes so irresistible that it will sweep you off your feet with how elegantly this composition comes together to make you feel beautiful.

As Pear and Pink Magnolia further warms and finally dries down, the fragrance reveals its tender sensual core due to the violet tones of orris in the musky base that will bewitch you and ignite hidden passion.

To give you angelic hands, I recommend the Pear and Pink Magnolia Hand Therapy to keep them smooth with shea butter, macademia nut oil, and even myrrh to condition nails and cuticles.  I love how that sweet scent lingers even after washing.

Sweetly addictive, I guarantee that you will want the entire Crabtree & Evelyn Pear and Pink Magnolia Bath & Body Collection once you experience it. The products include Eau de Toilette, Body Lotion, Body Wash, Body Souffle, Soap, and Hand Therapy.  Do pick up these products because they are a fantastic summer fragrance choice!

Thanks to Crabtree & Evelyn, one lucky Nuts 4 Stuff reader in the United States wins a 100ml tube of Pear and Pink Magnolia Hand Therapy ($20 value)!

Award-Winning Burt’s Bees Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme Review

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Burt’s Bees Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme.jpeg
Burt’s Bees Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme

The skin on my hands is on the delicate side. As a result, I am constantly slathering on hand lotions and creams to keep them well moisturized and presentable. Otherwise, my sensitive hands would be perpetually rough, chapped, and scary-looking.

I have tried my share of products in various forms to relieve this condition. Some of those have worked better than others. Though I have used other Burt’s Bees products, I never got around to using their hand lotions or creams. Therefore, I thought it was about time that I put their 2013 award-winning Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme ($9.00) to the test.

First of all, I want to point out this natural product is heavy-duty lubrication with sweet almond oil and vitamin E to coax ailing skin back from the brink. This yummy, nutty-smelling product also has beneficial beeswax as an ingredient to seal in needed moisture and condition.

As to its performance, I found this cream definitely helped a severe dry skin problem like mine. At the same time, I want to caution that this product can also leave hands a bit greasy so use sparingly.

For daytime, I prefer less the formula to absorb more and be less slippery to the touch. I felt this hand creme was better suited for nighttime, which is exactly how I have been using it after initially sampling it.

Give your severe dry hands an ample coat of Burt’s Bees Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Crème before bed and find them recovered by morning–at least, this is what this stuff did for me. Do try this because you’ll like it!

A Great Way to Infuse Skin With Moisture--Crabtree & Evelyn's NEW English Honey & Peach Blossom Collection Ultra-Moisturizing Hand Therapy and Body Butter (Review)

Crabtree & Evelyn's English Honey & Peach Blossom Body Butter

No wonder honey has held such high esteem throughout the ages with its healing and beautifying properties.  Crabtree & Evelyn's new line harnesses that skin transforming power into their English Honey & Peach Blossom Collection.  I was fortunate to experience two of these fabulous hydrating products with their Ultra-Moisturizing Hand Therapy and Body Butter for this review.

Winter can be hard for any skin.  However, it can be merciless if you happen to already have dry skin, which I do.  Therefore, I was thrilled about seeing how this pair would work on my suffering skin.

Following my shower, the first product that I tried was the English Honey & Peach Blossom Body Butter.  The scent is warm and enticing, oozing with the soft sweetness of honey and luscious peach even before you dive into it.  Once you do, I found the texture was a rich blend that got easily absorbed and replaced my dryness with velvet-like softness.  The formula also has other wonderful lubricating ingredients to that honey and peach blossom extract with moringa oil and shea butter.

Regardless of how often I apply hand lotions and creams, I always seem to be fighting chapping.  What the English Honey & Peach Blossom Ultra-Moisturizing Hand Therapy formula is said to do is to make hands feel softer with each application while moisturizing with other skin soothing ingredients like shea butter, peach blossom extract and macadamia nut oil.  Myrrh is also added for what it can do to condition the cuticles and nails.

The increased softness claim sounded almost too good to be true, but this hand cream does exactly that and more without feeling greasy or sticky.  In fact, this product managed to heal the redness much sooner and left a petal like softness in its wake the more I reached for that tube.   I can't tell how much it helped my cuticles or nails, but this is an excellent hand cream for hurting hands in need of tender loving care.

Crabtree & Evelyn's new collection of English Honey & Peach Blossom is one of my favorite new finds for skin.   If your dry skin cries out for help, I recommend you to visit Crabtree & Evelyn and look into these products!  Other products in this collection include Body Wash, Body Lotion, Glistening Face Serum, Lip Salve, All Purpose Balm, and a Moisturizing Cream.

I'm Passionate About Melvita's Fresh Moisturizing Body Milk for Petal-Soft Skin (Review)

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**
Moisturizing Body Milk.jpeg
Melvita's Fresh Moisturizing Body Milk

Anyone with dry skin knows what a struggle it can be to keep it soft.  However, I have been discovering some excellent organic skin care products to solve this perpetual problem thanks to French beauty brand, Melvita, like the ones I sampled from their Apicosma and Rose lines.  Therefore, it would be a crime if I didn't try more to share with you.  With that said, let me introduce you to my latest find, Fresh Moisturizing Body Milk, another from their Rose line, than I am wholeheartedly passionate about.

Though it is labeled a body milk, I consider it a luxurious organic body cream with its aroma of rose while hydrating your dry skin exceptionally well.  As you slather on this sweet essence of rose with its rich, thick consistency, your skin drinks in that beneficial formula of rose floral water, rose seed milk, and wild rose petals without any greasiness, only a feel of petal softness.

Melvita's Fresh Moisturizing Body Milk is not advertised as a hand cream.  Yet, I tell you this is a supreme hand cream.  Suffering hands that had been red and rough seem to thrive and bloom with beautiful smoothness again in no time.  You might think because this is labeled a body milk it would lack that lasting barrier to make this healing possible without constant reapplications, however, this is not what I have found.

If you want a top notch hand cream, I have two close to my heart with their Apicosma Hand Cream and now Melvita's Fresh Moisturizing Body Milk.  Both require a small amount to do their wonders.  I highly recommend them because they are true skin miracle workers for coming to the rescue of dry skin.

Review: Melvita's Apicosma Creamy Cleansing Milk--A Gentler Way to Clean Dry Skin!

Rinse off cleansers may be the easiest solution, but if you have an issue of dry or extra dry skin it may not be the answer.  This variety may possibility also strip away oils from your skin in the process.  An oil-based cleanser, on the other hand, will not pose that sort of problem since it adds emollients to do the task as gently as possible.

An excellent one that I tried lately is Melvita's Apicosma Creamy Cleansing Milk from the French beauty brand.  This product has three different types of honey, pollen, and sweet almond, which is so soothing in this skin pleasing formula.  I loved how this cleanser calmed my delicate skin while it worked.

All that I had to do to remove my old makeup was to wipe off this cleanser with a few tissues.  You will be surprised at the look of your face when you're finished.  Some cleansers of this type leave you with an oily film that needs further attention. This cleanser looks cleaner with just bit of sheen.  I did follow up with my toner to test this clean but my cotton balls were free of makeup and dirt.

This product is safe as well to handle removing eye cosmetics.   Everything in that department was easy to wipe away.  The only exception involved using any waterproof eye cosmetics.  These were more difficult to budge and took longer and more swipes to remove, but my waterproof mascara and new liner finally came off.

I first fell in love with Apicosma when I reviewed their Apicosma Extra-Rich Hand Cream, one of the best hand creams I ever tried for how quickly it heals and nourishes suffering red skin.

Their Apicosma Creamy Cleansing Milk is just as awesome especially for those of us with sensitive, dry skin that needs extra tender loving care.  The 6.7 fl. oz. bottle retails for $22.00.

If sensitivity and dry skin are causing you grief, I can't recommend the Apicosma line from Melvita highly enough.  Do visit their website and get some because those products I tried can turn that problem around.

Sally Hansen Ultimate Shield Hand Cream Review

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Sally Hansen Ultimate Shield Hand Cream.jpeg
Sally Hansen Ultimate Shield Hand Cream

Since I do a lot of cooking and baking from scratch, I accumulate a lot of dirty dishes as well.   Thus, my hands get a lot of abuse, especially when I'm making batches of homemade bread.  Dough loves to stick to the crevices of fingers and settle in the nails, which requires many washing attempts before hands come clean.  The result  of such frequent hand washing often dries and chaps them until I sport red lobster hands.

Therefore,  I think that I'm a good candidate to test Sally Hansen's new Ultimate Shield Hand Cream since I always am slathering on hand creams and lotions.

This cream wasn't greasy like some that I have used.  What interested me about this product was its claim to form a lasting defensive shield of hand protection due to their Cationic conditioning technology and a natural moisturization factor.

So I tried some of this new hand cream on bread baking day to see how my hands would survive by the end of the day.  Believe it or not, I wasn't red as usual.  However, I did reapply some more later in the day but not nearly as often as I do with a more fluid type of lotion.

I do recommend Sally Hansen's Ultimate Shield Hand Cream because it does seem to work better for my problem--and I think it can do the same for you!

Crabtree & Evelyn's Nantucket Briar Eau de Toilette Spray and Hand Cream Review

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Crabtree & Evelyn's Nantucket Briar Eau de Toilette Spray and Hand Cream.jpeg
Crabtree & Evelyn's Nantucket Briar Eau de Toilette Spray and Hand Cream

You don't have to leave home to experience the island beauty of Nantucket.  All you need is to close your eyes and smell Crabtree & Evelyn's Nantucket Briar Eau de Toilette Spray and instantly you can escape.  Before you know it, you breathe in that warm salty sea air from above a cliff as you petal past stretches of lush green and the sweet perfume of wild briar roses overlooking the sea.

A twist in the narrow path takes you to biking past a quaint cottage and freshly laundered linens with something delicious baking once  those scents merge together with a hearty gust of wind to be etched in your mind like a permanent marker.  This is the essence of Nantucket Briar and the beautiful way to travel there thanks to Crabtree & Evelyn.

Nantucket Briar became an instant hit soon after it launched in 1985.   This classic oriental floral evokes a feeling of sheer beauty that is uplifting.

With top notes of fresh greens and bergamot to mimic warm days along the seaside along with a powdery softness from wild briar roses and vanilla, the scent is very feminine and well suited for summer to keep you dressed, but comfortable.  Think of white cotton and lots of lace.  And yet, the same wearer is unafraid to take off those white leather sandals to walk barefoot in the sand just to feel the warm sand massaging her feet because it is impossible to resist.

The more the scent warms with amber in the base, the airier and more hauntingly sweet those wild briar roses make it so uniquely  captivating and special like a precious summer vacation memory that you can recapture only in fragrance form.

I also was sent a tube of their award-winning Nantucket Briar Hand Cream.   This is another way to you continue that powdery fragrant pleasure rush while soothing and moisturizing hands with their intensive Shea butter treatment.  I found that you only need to use very little to heal dry, rough skin in this long-lasting formula, which stays on even through many hand washs.

In my opinion, this is an ideal long-lasting summer fragrance, especially for those that appreciate a powdery clean scent touched with rose and amber, airy enough that it seems to float softly with bergamot and fresh greens once it becomes airborne.

Wearing Nantucket Briar is like experiencing the timeless beauty of an endless summer and I adore it.   I honestly think you should experience this classic scent and wonderful hand cream for yourself to fully appreciate it.
