Beauty Box 5 July 2017 Review

Beauty Box 5 July 2017.jpeg
July 2017 was a great beauty month!

Beauty Box 5 had one product that delayed the usual arrival date of this July 2017 subscription box. Yippee, I am glad to report mine my little green box finally showed up the other day with a great lineup of beauty products.

If you’re always cruising stores to check out the newest cosmetics, then you really need a beauty subscription or a few like Beauty Box 5 to satisfy that addiction. Let me quickly fill you in how this beauty subscription box works.  Each month you get five full and sample sizes of makeup, skin and hair care, nail products, body care, perfumes to tools for $12.00 a month with free shipping.   You will recognize some brands and others might be new, which always makes it interesting as well as exciting.

For example, here is the wonderful assortment that arrived in my July box.

Beauty Box 5 July 2017

1.  Luseta Beauty Argan Oil Hair Masque–( 2.03 oz. Sample)------------------------$7.00
2.  Styli-Style Line & Seal Eye Liner (Full Size)--------------------------------------------$6.50
3.  Manna Kadar Cosmetics Glo Illuminator----------------------------------------------$11.60
4.  Seraphine Botanicals Quince + Crimson Crayon (Full Size)---------------------$24.00
5.  Nanacoco Rio II Nail Polish (Full Size)---------------------------------------------------$3.95
6.  BB5 Cut That Crease Brush (Full Size)  Late BONUS------------------------------$10.00

Total Value: $63.05!

The Luseta Argan Oil Hair Masque arrived at the perfect time since my hair was rather suffering.  This after shampoo conditioner is a weekly treatment that helps restore moisture, which my hair was grateful for.

The Styli-Style Line & Seal Eye Liner that came in my box was in the flattering Plum shade. This is a gel-formula pencil geared for sensitive eyes that didn’t tug when applying. How can I not love that?

Manna Kadar Cosmetics Glo Illuminator delivered a becoming boost of subtle pink-gold radiance.  The texture of this highlighter is a creamy formula that melds into the complexion with ease.

Seraphine Botanicals Quince + Crimson Crayon is a multipurpose crayon for cheeks and lips that is loaded with deep red color that reminds me of a pomegranate shade.  This vegan product has argan oil and quince extract to explain its great slide when applying.

The Nanaco Rio II Nail Polish I got is the Copacabana Coral.  I didn’t have a chance to paint my nails with it yet, but this is an irresistible pink-coral color.  I think that I am going to start with toenails because this shade will pop while I’m still wearing my open-toe sandals.

Beauty Box 5 Cut That Crease Brush was just something extra that the company sent to everyone to make up for being late with these July boxes.  Who doesn’t love getting a freebie, especially when it’s a beauty freebie?

To sum it up, I thought July 2017 was an excellent beauty month for value and some fabulous products that will get a lot of use.  Visit Beauty Box 5 and check them out!

Beauty Box 5 May 2017 Review

Beauty Box 5 May 2017.jpeg
May 2017 was a good month with five full size products and one bonus sample!

Summer Date Night is the theme behind this latest Beauty Box 5.  If you are unfamiliar with this beauty box subscription, then you are missing out on the fun way to shop and often find some great products that you might never have ever heard before.

Each month Beauty Box 5 sends a box with five full and sample size makeup, hair and skin care, nail polish, beauty tools and fragrances.  The cost is $12.00 per month with  free shipping in the USA, but $3.00 extra if you are in Canada.

May 2017 happened to be a really good month with the beauty stash that arrived in my green box.  Let me show you what I found.

Beauty Box 5 May 2017

1.  Cougar Beauty 24 Hour Liquid Lipstick (Full Size)----------------------------------$12.99
2.  Jersey Shore Cosmetics Mongongo Lip Conditioner (Full Size)-----------------$10.00
3.  Jelly Pong Pong Bare Necessities Highlighting Pencil (Full Size)---------------$17.95
4.  Daily Concepts Exfoliating Body Scrubber (Full Size)--------------------------------$5.00
5.  Nanacoco Jumbo Eye & Lip Pencil (Full Size)------------------------------------------$5.50
6.  De La Cruz Arnica Salve (Sample of 0.12 oz.)------------------------------------------$0.35

Total Approximate Value:   $51.80!

The Cougar Beauty 24 Hour Liquid Lipstick was flattering.  The color was deep pink-mauve called Mulberry. The finish I got was matte and had wonderful staying power.

The Jersey Shore Cosmetics Mongongo Lip Conditioner came in a delicious vanilla coconut cream flavor.  It’s all natural and makes dry lips feel good.

Jelly Pong Pong Bare Necessities Highlighting Pencil was from a brand that I never tried before.  However, this product was ideal for accenting areas with its gorgeous pigment and smooth blending.

The Daily Concepts Exfoliating Body Scrubber is something that comes in handy.  This sponge has two sides with two textures from gentle buffing to more vigorous scrubbing.

As to the Nanacoco Jumbo Eye & Lip Pencil, I was disappointed in the choice of color that landed up in my box.  Mine happened to be a bold deep green that was somewhat darker than a pickle that I would never wear.  This will go to my neighbor’s teen daughter who goes in for that wild sort of thing.

The De La Cruz Arnica Salve is helpful when you get a fresh bruise.  I didn’t run into anything yet, but I do that once in a while when I move the furniture around.

In my opinion, May 2017 was a vast improvement over the previous month.  I loved it all except that one eye & lip pencil and only because of the shade.  Have you tried this beauty box subscription out yet?  If not, I suggest check out Beauty Box 5!

Beauty Box 5 January 2017 Review

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

Beauty Box 5 January 2017.jpeg
The Beauty Box 5 theme for January 2017 is Red Carpet Ready.

If you’re like me and love to experiment with all sorts of new beauty products, then a beauty subscription is what you need.  One that I really enjoy is Beauty Box 5 that sends five full and sample sizes each month from makeup, skin and hair care products, nail polish, tools, etc. for $12.00 per month with free United States shipping.

Each assortment always is centered around a theme, making a dive into each box even more fun like the one for this month with Red Carpet Ready beauty products.

Now that I may have gotten you curious about the contents of this month’s box, let me show you what awaited me once I opened that little green box.

Beauty Box 5 January 2017

1.  So Susan Light Diffuser–Full Size---------------------------------------------------$18.00

2.  Pur-Lisse Blue Lotus 4-in-1 Cleansing Milk (1 oz. Sample)---------------------$7.20

3.  Novex Bamboo Sprout Leave-In Conditioner (3.88 oz. Sample)---------------$3.70

4.  Maskeraide Spotted Anti-Blemish Clear Spot Patches (Sample)---------------$3.50

5.  Nanacoco Classic Collection Nail Polish (Full Size)--------------------------------$3.95

                                      Total Approximate Value:  $36.35!

The So Susan Light Diffuser is a new brand to me.  This is a small compact with a deep bronzer shade and champagne illuminator.  This product isn’t heavily pigmented so you do need to keep swiping until you get enough color to show up.

Pur-Lisse Blue Lotus 4-in-1 Cleansing Milk uses white tea and soy milk.  This is a water rinsing cleanser that treats even dry skin like mine delicately.

Novex Bamboo Sprout Leave-In Conditioner couldn’t arrive at a better time than what winter weather puts my hair through.  It helps with the shine and provided a softer feel to my suffering hair.

Maskeraide Spotted Anti-Blemish Clear Spot Patches is a sheet that has 12 clear patches with blemish-fighting ingredients of salicylic acid, volcanic ash and tea tree oil.  I really don’t break up much so this product is going to my neighbor’s teen daughter that could use this more.

The Nanacoco Nail Polish that I got was in a creamy shade called Best of My Love.  This is a gray-blue color with some violet that is quite lovely.  I didn’t try it out yet, but I will soon.

I thought January 2017 was a very decent beauty month.  If you feel the same way, then check Beauty Box 5 out because you’ll love this beauty subscription, too!

Review: Beauty Box 5 December 2105 Is an Awesome Month!

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**
Beauty Box 5 December 2105.jpeg
Beauty Box 5 December 2105 held big goodies!

I always look forward to when I see that familiar little green box from Beauty Box 5 showing up at my house. This month’s theme from this beauty subscription happens to be Have Yourself a Smoky Holiday Season with helpful makeup, skin care and brush to help you achieve that goal!

If you also love digging in and discovering new beauty finds every month as I do, then I suggest looking into signing up for this beauty subscription box.  The cost is minimal at $12 a month with free shipping with five full to sample size cosmetics, skin care, hair care to fragrance products.

Are you ready to get excited?  I think that you will once you check out these five FULL-SIZE beauty products that arrived this month.

Beauty Box 5 December 2015

1.  OFRA Shimmer Eye Shadow (Goget Refill for their palette)–$12.00

2.  BEAUTY BOX 5 Blender Brush –$10.00

3.  PRESTIGE COSMETICS Total Intensity Eyeliner–$5.95

4.  THE BEAUTY CROP Glamazon Stick–$22.00

5.  SO FRESH SO CLEAN Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes–$2.99

Total Value: $52.94!

The OFRA eye shadow is in the shimmery shade Millennium Bark, a brown with a hint of olive that has some sparkles to it that is a great neutral shade.  The card that came with this box has a value of $13.50, but at the company’s website it is $12.00. Either this is a typo or the price went up.  It does wear well without problems to nicely compliment my dark brown eyes.

The BEAUTY BOX 5 Blender Brush was wonderful to include in this box.  After all, you can never have enough eye shadow brushes.  It has a pointed, tapered tip unlike some flatter ended blender brushes that I own, which I found helped application for doing the smoky eye.

The PRESTIGE COSMETICS Eyeliner is in Deepest Black is excellent.  This pencil is the blackest of black color like coal in a creamy gel-like formulation that glides well without tugging on your lids as you apply.  It is kind to sensitive eyes and holds up for hours of wear with only slight smudging.

THE BEAUTY CROP Glamazon Stick is a creamy highlighting crayon.  The color is a gleaming gold-based champagne that you will adore for accenting cheekbones, lids or wherever area you want to beam some light upon.  There are no sparkle chunks, but glorious, pale radiant gold light in this crayon.

The 25-count package of SO FRESH SO CLEAN Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes is the last product inside.  These are PH balanced and advertised to deep clean enough to remove waterproof mascara.  I haven’t tried any waterproof makeup to test that claim out, but this product did zap away my regular formula that I had on quickly and without any irritation.

I dare you not to love this December 2105 assortment with this $52.94 grouping.  I know that I think this is my favorite box from this company this year.  What do you think?  I say check out Beauty Box 5 because you will love these boxes!

Review: Beauty Box 5 November 2015

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**
Beauty Box 5 November 2015.jpeg
Beauty Box 5 November 2015

As I see it, you can’t miss looking great when you concentrate on the basics.  With this November 2015 skin care and makeup assortment, Beauty Box 5 sought to stuff that little green box with five inspiring beauty essentials that will change how you think of beauty basics.

If this is the first time you heard of this beauty box subscription that runs $12 a month with free shipping, then let me fill you in because it is a fun way to satisfy your beauty fix with five full to sample size cosmetics, skin care, hair care to fragrance products.

Let me just show you what was packed in this box.  Once you see, you can decide what an excellent find it is because I quite liked the contents of what came inside the November assortment.

Beauty Box 5 November 2015

1. La Fresh good day, day moisturizer –Deluxe Sample (0.5 oz.)–$13.99

2.  Kaunis Facial Mask –Full Size–$14.95

3.  Altchek MD Eye Gel Pads (Set of 2) –Sample Size–$4.00

4.  MOODMATCHER MOODmatcher Luxe Twist Stick –Full Size–$8.00

5.  The All Natural Face Vegan Matte Cream Lip & Cheek Color –Full Size–$5.75

Total Value: $46.69!

La Fresh moisturizer seems to pack a lot of helpful ingredients to make skin thrive like collagen producing peptides, hyaluronic acid, vitamins, grape seed and others.  I didn’t try this yet because I am currently testing skin care so my face is committed.  I do look forward to trying it soon.

I also will have to wait on experimenting with the Kaunis Facial Mask as well until finishing my skin care commitments.  However, this product contains ocean water and is mineral-rich with potassium, magnesium, calcium, zinc, etc. to restore and smooth the skin, which sounds wonderful to me.

The Altchek MD Eye Gel Pads are ones that I intend to pass on simply because they are not recommended for anyone sensitive to bandages or tapes, which I am.

I got the MOODmatcher Luxe Twist Stick in Orange.  I love how the color changes to a vivid pink once it reacts to the heat of your lips.  The shade happened to look nice on me so I will continue wearing it.

The All Natural Face Vegan Matte Cream Lip & Cheek Color I received was in the color of Dusty Rose. This is a flattering, warm rosy-brown shade that lit up my cheeks and lips very nicely.  I really liked how this one product was such a multitasker.

Review: Beauty Box 5 October 2015 Is a Must-Have for Those That Love Pink!

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**
Beauty Box 5 October 2015.jpeg
Beauty Box 5 October 2015 won't disappoint pink lovers.

I always look forward to this time of month when a new Beauty Box 5 has arrived.  The theme for October 2015 is all girly pink with an awesome selection of pink-related cosmetics and beauty products.

If you are new to this beauty box subscription, then let me fill you in.  Each green box usually contains five full to sample sizes of beauty items for only $12 with a monthly subscription.  Some brands have instant recognition. Yet, others may not be so familiar, but may tend to become new finds.

Let me tell about this current October box and you can judge for yourself what a great value it is.  I happen to think it is an excellent assortment.  Check it out with me, won't you?

Beauty Box 5 October 2015

1.  Happy Hands HappyFace Makeup Cleansing Cloth–Full Size–$3.99

2.  Ferro Cosmetics Pink Rhinestone Kabuki Brush–Full Size–$25.00

3.  Styli-Style Perfect Pout Long Lasting Balm Stick–Full Size–$4.99

4.  Knotty Hair Ties (2 Ribbon Pack)–Full Size–$4.00

5.  Nubar Nail Polish Mini–Full Size –$4.99

Total Value: $42.97!

The Happy Hands Makeup Cleansing Cloth can always come in handy since you can never have enough wash cloths.  It is machine washable and eco friendly.  Since it is already nicely packaged, I will keep it ready for when I travel.

The Ferro Cosmetics Kabuki Brush has a soft, wonderful feel to its bristles.  My only complaint is why the company never thought to wrap it first to keep it more sanitary instead of having nothing to protect it.  I would have appreciated even a small bag over it.

The Styli-Style Perfect Pout Long Lasting Balm Stick was in Flirty Fuchsia, which is actually more of a tulip pink shade in the tube.  The shade is a rosy pink that makes my lips bloom in a beautiful way while soothing them at the same time.

The Knotty Hair Ties that I received is a twin pack of a medium pink ribbon and another of a lighter baby pink tie.  I can’t use hair ties and will be giving these to my friend’s daughter, who does.

Last of all, was the Nubar Nail Polish in the mini size.  This is formaldehyde, phthalate, and toluene free polish in a color of Pinktober.  This is so pretty of a light pink shade that I can’t wait to paint my nails with once I complete my current nail polish testing.

If you ask me, then I think October 2015 was a sensational Beauty Box 5 month that has a lot of beauty value to this pink-loving girl.  Do check out this beauty subscription because it is so much fun exploring new beauty surprises every month!

Review: Beauty Box 5 August 2015--An Exceptional Beauty Stash!

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**
Beauty Box 5 August 2015.jpeg
Beauty Box 5 August 2015

As Summer continues to wind down, we can look forward to getting ready for Fall.  This month’s beauty box assortment is about doing some primping with some new cosmetics, skin and hair care that will help give you a beautiful fresh start for a brand-new season.

Beauty Box 5 is a monthly beauty box subscription that I really enjoy digging into.  Every green mystery box is so fun to explore because you can always expect about four or five full to sample size beauty products. You get both familiar brands as well as new ones, which is exciting when finding something that works magic for you that you never knew existed until that little box arrived.  And yet, the cost for this monthly bit of fun is just $12 a month with free shipping.

For instance, let me show you what this latest beauty box was like.  Wait until you see!

Beauty Box 5 August 2015

1.  Donnamax Printed Nail-File with Case–Full Size–$4.99

2.  Starlooks Lux Longwear eyeliner Pen in Plum –Full Size–$19.99

3.  Hask Beauty Deep Conditioning Hair Treatment–Full Size–$2.39

4.  Jerome Alexander Hot Stuff Go Pop Compact –Full Size–$10.99

5.  Pur~lisse Pur Moist Hydra-Balance Moisturizer–Sample Size (.5 oz.)–$18.00

Total Approximate Value–$56.36

The Donnamax Nail-File with Case was an insightful addition to this assortment.  This is great for throwing in your handbag because when is it that you don’t need a nail file? The case makes it more sanitary as well as convenient when rummaging through your cosmetic bag.

The Starlooks Lux Longwear eyeliner pen went on wonderfully.  It made a smooth line in a color that complimented my dark brown eyes so I will continue enjoying using that pen.

The Hask Beauty Deep Conditioning Hair Treatment I will be trying once I finish my current hair product testing.  Again, I think the company made a good choice because Summer heat can really take a toll on our hair.

The Jerome Alexander Hot Stuff Go Pop Compact is strong looking and extra easy to open.  The only fault with this is no protective plastic over the lip shades or eye shadows.  Other than that, this is a great little set except I would not wear a bright mint green or the paler green of these shimmer shades. A grayish shimmer color is the last shade. The lip colors are a rose with gold, an orange and a pink nude with some shimmer to it.

Finally, I got a tube of Pur~lisse Pur Moist Hydra-Balance Moisturizer.  I got samples of this brand before and like how they work on my sensitive skin.  This formula is anti-aging and uses plant extracts and vitamins for moisturizing.

I think August 2015 was a very good month of products for us, beauty loving girls for Beauty Box 5.  Don’t you agree?  Do check the company’s website out because it is a great way to shop for beauty.

Review: Beauty Box 5 July 2015 for Looking Colorfully Cool Through Summer Heat!

**Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**
Beauty Box 5 July 2015.jpeg
Check out this month's beauty goodies for July 2015 Beauty Box 5

It is that magical time of the month again because my new Beauty Box 5 assortment has finally arrived! The theme of this month’s grouping of cosmetics and skin care is colorfully cool beauty for summer nights out.

Let me tell you how this monthly beauty box subscription works in case you haven't discovered this company yet. Usually, each green box contains about four or five full to sample sizes of beauty items for only $12 with a monthly subscription.  Some brands are familiar while others may be exciting new brands that you’ll get introduced to, but probably love.

Receiving surprise beauty products every month is fun because you never know what will be arriving.  Some months you will love more than other months, depending on your preferences.  However, I always have a blast digging into each new Beauty Box 5 and always find something special among the products.

If you’re curious about this month’s box, then I won’t keep you in suspense any longer.  Take a peek at the products below.

Beauty Box 5 for July 2015

OFRA Lip Gloss           (full size)-----------------$12.95

OFRA Lip Liner            (full size)------------------$13.00

Nanacoco Nail Polish   (full size)------------------$3.00

Love Life Skin, Love Life Skin Collection (four sample packets)

Pur~lisse Flesh Tattoos (full size)------------------$9.00

Total approximate value:       $37.95

The color of the OFRA Lip Gloss was Truffle, a nude with shimmery copper that is a great neutral shade.  I liked the non-sticky formula and the way its glistening color lit up my lips.

The OFRA Lip Liner was in Spicy, a brownish shade that paired up well with my Truffle Gloss.

I didn’t get a chance to try the Nanacoco Nail Polish yet because I am doing nail swatches right now; however, the rose-pink shade I got is Kissing Lips and looks just like the colors I tend to wear the most.

Since I am also currently testing more skin care products, I will have to save those samples of Intensive Recovery Serum and Restorative Night Cream from Love Life Skin for another time.   The formula sounds worth exploring since it was developed to help chemotherapy patients and their sensitive skin, which sounds like the TLC my skin could use.

Finally, I got a sheet of Pur~lisse Skin Sparkle Flash Tattoos.  The designs and detail are pretty with gold, silver and black, but I am not the tattoo type.  Yet, this is just my preference and doesn’t mean it is a bad product.

Overall, I thought it was a wonderful box. To learn more or subscribe, pop over to Beauty Box 5 and get on board the fun train to beauty!

Total Value: $20.55

This Urban Decay Perversion Mascara is meant to play up lashes with extra black boldness.  I didn’t try it yet, but will soon.  I was thinking of saving it for vacation.

The Herbal Essences Body Wash is their new Honey, Smell Good scent, which does smell delicious and produces beautiful lather.

LOL Rotational Eye Shadow palette is 01 Black Betty, perfect for doing a smoky eye. These are varying shimmer shades of gray, black and champagne that go on surprisingly smooth with nice pigment for such an inexpensive product.

The Nails Inc. Nail Polish is in a lovely, bright medium pink shade called Brook Street that looks gorgeous for wearing now. I never tried this UK brand, but I heard only good things about it.  I will try it soon.

Finally, I got a tiny skin care sample that comes attached to a card with just enough of Simple’s Micellar Cleansing Water.  Just like your rinse-off makeup cleanser, this product is one to remove makeup and grime, only using a cotton ball or pad to swipe it off without involving water.  It worked nicely enough except it didn’t perform very well with my longwearing lip stain.

Overall, I think Beauty Box 5 for June 2015 was a wonderful month.  What do you think?

Take a peek at Beauty Box 5 March 2015!

Though Spring break may be on your mind, the theme behind this month’s box is not being a bit more lax about beauty with a selection of items to fit the occasion.  Instead, the assortment of skin care and makeup products are for maximizing your beauty potential.

If you still haven’t found Beauty Box 5, then you really should give it a try.  Each box has four or five full to sample sizes of beauty items per box, which can be had for $12 with a monthly subscription.  Yet, you can even pay less.  A subscription can run as low  as $6.58 a month when committing to an annual subscription.

In fact, March 2015 is even more exciting because it came with three full size cosmetics!  Are you ready to dive in and explore these new beauty goodies?  Then let me show you in detail when I found in this new box that has me in such a good mood.

Beauty Box 5 March 2015

Eslor Introductory Collection–Second Edition--four sample packets (5 ml)–$17.03

Elite Therapeutics Rosemary Eucalyptus Body Cream–.5 oz. sample--$1.18

Scandalous by Nanacoco Thickening MascaraFull Size–$4.99

Styli-Style Line & Seal Twist Mechanical Eye LinerFull Size–$4.99

Laugh Out Loud by Nanacoco Lip GlossFull Size–$3.99

Total Value: $32.18

This is the second time I got some Eslor skin care and loved finding more of this paraben free natural line to tweak up my complexion.  The four packets are the Soothing Refiner & Cleanser, Botanical Peeling Gel, Chlorophyll Lifting Mask, and Firming Collagen Day Cream.  I am once again testing facial care products so the first chance I get I will dive into my new stash of these samples.

The Elite Therapeutics has 70% certified organic ingredients, which I love to hear.  It’s a wonderful formulation for moisturizing the body if you don’t mind its distinctive herbal scent, which may not be for everyone.

The Nanacoco brand is one that I don’t remember trying in the past.  However, I thought the black Scandalous Mascara pumped up my lashes nicely.  It didn’t leave them feeling brittle either, which can happen sometimes.

I absolutely adored the Nanacoco Lip Gloss in Call Me Babe for feel and color.  This is such a pretty metallic pinky-brown nude with some mauve that lit up my lips beautifully without excess stickiness.  It is a great neutral that would compliment every skin tone.

The final product was a Styli-Style Mechanical Eye Liner in Lapis.  This is a lovely teal color that I was surprised did so much for my dark brown eyes.

In summary, I thought this was a wonderful put together selection!  Do you agree?
